Bad chicken pho, why was the broth green? Also, the chicken was impossible to chew. I wish they didn’t charge me for it —- i couldnt even eat it after three bites

Would not recommend if your looking for authenticity.Really wanted to like this place but it didn’t not hit the spot. I had the pho and no flavor, noodle to meat ratio was off, noodles overcooked. Also had the shrimp spring roll, shrimp tasted a bit fishy and they used cabbage which was odd. Idk if it’s just laziness or trying to cater to the Caucasian pallet.
Below average pho, curry is horrible (watered down), to top it off service was bad. Don’t go here for Vietnamese. Not coming back
I’ve been here a couple of times. cosy place, friendly staff. just two things i have to notice.both times i’ve ordered pho house special. good choice but it’s too sweet in my taste.the 2nd one is the metal asian spoon that isn’t convenient at all. best option for this spoon is a bit longer size and with a hook on handler so that to hang it over the edge of the bowl.
Amazing Pho - really hits the spot! Very good broth and noodles. Bahn Mi is delicious - try out if youre in the area. Place is cute and clean - not sure why it doesnt have higher ratings. Owners are very sweet people.
Filthy restaurant and quite possibly the worst Rare Steak Pho Ive ever had. And to top it all off the server was pretty unpleasant.
Dont get Bahn Mi here. for $10 you get bread, veggies, and a single layer of meat. A SINGLE LAYER. Added a star since pate is good. All in all the Combination Sandwich left much to be desired.Update: recently went back to try it again but wanted to ask for extra meat. I forgot to ask them to add extra meat but they definitely put a proper amount of meat this time and the bahn mi was Perfect! Pate was delicious as previously mentioned so everything was well rounded and tasty!!!
Soo good. The flavors were phenomenal. Some of the best tofu Ive had in Los Angeles. The spring rolls were also so tasty and fresh.
The broth is much sweeter and lighter than the average Pho broth. It made me miss the salty, oily, taste of the classic flavor. However, the flavor soaks into the noodles much better than the average place. In addition the meat tastes very high quality. I enjoyed the meal.
This is a wonderful place in ES. The PO is great and the prices are amazing in Westside of crazy price increases for food these days.
Disaster spring rolls. They had mostly iceberg lettuce and two slices of tofu. It definitely needed a few more ingredients. The Vietnamese coffee too seemed watered down.
Honestly not great. The broth is bland and almost watery. The server gave me a dirty spoon which happens but the vibe of the servers weren’t great. The place seemed kinda dirty and the shrimp rolls were bad quality.I love pho and would rather drive a little farther for good stuff. I think this place could improve and I hope they do.

Food is fresh & delicious. Service is friendly and fast. They give a plate of fresh herbs and peppers- dont skip them! Break them up and put on food, absolutely incredible. Flavors are so great, exotic and delicious. The pho rice noodles soup are excellent.
Their pho soup base lacks flavor but its not bad for a quick lunch. Nothing special or worth while on their menu.Well priced and never super busy. They only take cash tips so come with a few dollars in your pocket.
Pho Dreams has the BEST pho broth I have ever tasted. This restaurant is located in the cute Main Street of El Segundo. Their eggrolls are really good too! Have been going here for the past three years as I crave their food most of the time.
Way more lettuce than anything and shrimp were super tiny! Peanut sauce was decent. If the shrimp were bigger then I might have gone with 4 stars!
Shaking Beef and Chicken Pho were great. Fresh coconut and Shrimp Spring Rolls also a recommendation! Glad El Segundo has a great noodle shop with fast and friendly staff. Only downside was I could not provide a tip on my credit card. Ill get the ladies back x2 next time around!! Thanks
Owner needs to learn how to cook Pho or go take class. It looks like they dont cook beef bone for the soup. No favour for Pho at all. Im rating 1 star so the owner can look into this and make is better. If you dont improve, you probably not going to see return customer.
They have old (cheaper) prices on a menu they continue to advertise outside the door and you only discover this after you order. Owners acknowledged that it was an old menu with old prices but didnt offer any consolation despite advertising these older prices. Maybe they should learn how good business works because this isnt it.
I ordered a large veggie pho & Vietnamese iced coffee ($4). The food came out quick & warm. I like broth piping hot but this broth was just warm to me. But the food was delicious. There are a lot of condiments to choose from. I like that they had red chili flakes & Sriracha. I wasn’t impressed with the size & price of the iced coffee. I was expecting the drink to be in a tall glass but it was in a kiddie size plastic to go cup that was packed with ice. I only had like 2 sips & it was gone. Delicious coffee but not worth $4.
Nice little spot. Space is limited for parties greater than 4 ppl. Food is really good. Staff is decent. Prices for the food is cheap (For a large bowl of steak and brisket is around $11)

The service here is fast and staff welcoming, as one comes to expect for pho restaurants. As for food, their pho is average. The portion of noodles to soup to side toppings is well-balanced. I tried the 22, pho with rare and brisket. The soup could have benefited from having a bolder flavor- otherwise no complaints. Besides pho, they have Bahn mi, and various rice and noodle dishes. Pricing for meals is around $10 for a single entrée.I would eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.
A bit of my background b4 I tear into this review: I am ethnic Vietnamese & grew up (from Saigon all the way to the USA) eating from the best to the not-so-delicious Vietnamese food. A typical VM resto is almost always graded on the taste & authenticity of our staple dish -- rice noodle soup with beef (well abbreviate it as RNS). The ingredients are very basic...rice noodles, beef (variety of what you want to eat from thinly sliced beef to all kinds of beef parts such as tendons, tripes etc.), & raw vegetables to add at will. And last but not least...the broth which is added hot just before serving it! Once the bowl is in front of me I normally would catch a whiff of the steamimg broth before beginning to sample it as it has a particular pleasant smell & taste that define its authenticity, in short the broth makes or breaks this VM national dish.Typically a VM customer will often not make a 2nd visit to the resto whose RNS doesnt taste authentic. That being said, I will not revisit Pho Dreams! The broth tasted bland at best! My taste buds were crying out for the familiarity they had grown to know from a delicious beef broth...they got none! The 2 kinds of meat I ordered were raw beef slices & tendons; I literally had to dig for the few tiny pieces of tendons. Tendons are not expensive so a typical resto would spoil you with a good amount; not at Pho Dreams apparently!I was hungry...yet I struggled to finish the bowl, but had to because I didnt want to waste any more of my time arguing about a bad meal & leave. I also ordered some summer rolls with pork & shrimps...Im not even gonna bother reviewing this abysmal appetizer! The large bowl was $10...definitely overpriced for such a subpar dish! Same goes for the rolls that cost $6. This review will serve as my displeasure & disappointment. This resto being located in el Segundo is a saving grace for its business because it would not survive long in Little Saigon!

For only $10.50 I ordered vegetable pho with beef broth and rice noodles. Service was quick and my pho had a great variety of vegetables including carrot, celery, green bean, green onion, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choi and parsley.... wow. Thats not including the tray of fresh bean sprouts with thai basil and jalapeno slices. The broth is flavorful without being greasy and the portion was generous 👌Just add a small spoon of crushed pepper and stir into your soup to make it come alive. I will definitely eat here again.Indoor / Outdoor seating available in a main street/uptown/downtown setting.
A little expensive for pho, guessing this is due to the location in downtown El Segundo. Large bowl is not as large as other pho places. Overall, pretty tasty still and the rice plates are guys as well.One additional downside is if you pay with card, you cant add tip. They accept tips in cash only.
Dreams?! More like nightmares. The pho broth here is super sweet. Really overbearing on the pallet. The spring rolls had more lettuce than anything. As for the service, they brought out the wrong orders to my party. And if youre need anything, get ready to keep flagging down your waiter, as youll find them on their phones and/ or just sitting around chatting. I would give no stars but 1 star for cable TV, if youre looking to watch sports.
Came to this place looking for some tasty pho and we found it. Ordered a small chicken pho for my 2 yr old and she slurped it down like a pro. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable and location is convenient.

I thought for a while that this was my favorite Pho place because it was close to me. Turns out, its my favorite because its the best. Much much better than Pho Show. Family owned, fair prices, and a wonderful atmosphere.

The banh mi is great. The noodle dishes are not so great. Also, the server I had on my second visit couldnt explain some of the dishes to me.

2023-11-29 03:24:55First time having pho here, and this place is AMAZING! Broth is some of the best I’ve had in years. Noodles are perfectly soft, brisket and rare steak are delicious and there was a lot in it. If it’s your first time having pho, I really recommend this place.

I told the waitress there was a bug in my food and her response was “ its not my fault bugs can get in your food from flying around” She didn’t offer a discount or a refund and didn’t do anything for the inconvenience. I was completely disgusted. Dirty place, poor customer service. Disgusting. I’ll be reporting them to BBB.

2019-09-12 19:39:52I love Pho but My first experience in this restaurant was Horrible.Before I walked in, it was super slow like there was no customer at the restaurant.When I about to order, the server has a bad broken English that hard to order and it was bit uncomfortable to talk to.I ordered the rare steak pho with egg rolls and plate of sliced onion.The taste was horrible.Only good was the ice water and plate of sliced onions that I also put Sriracha all over.Because the pho was super water down that has no flavor plus it has a sweet bad after taste. It was very blend with so much oil. I even drenched the Sriracha and Hoisin sauce to over come the taste but it still the worst. They put so much grease of oils that it over laps my tongue. I had to drink so much water to wash it down.The egg rolls was the worst than their pho. It tasted like microwave frozen eggrolls from 99 cents store.Super low quality and the taste was so bad that after one bite was enough.Everything was so bad and so horrible that I couldn’t finish the meal, I had so much leftovers. Not worth paying over $20 for this meal. No wonder they have no costumers. I will not come here again.

One issue though was my first request was out of stock early in the afternoon and when I also asked for a fruit smoothie I thought that was going to be a no as well. Thankfully the mango was possible and tasted great. Fair prices and I was satiated.
