Best chicken pho in 626. The place isnt too big so sometimes theres a wait but its defintely worth it! Plain noodle with chicken on the side! Its about that ginger sauce!!

All three different staff members, runners, waiter were friendly. Its great to see a small business with a high level of food. We ordered chicken, chicken gizzard (they had run out but asked if we could wait a little), a small noodle soup, and he pork loaf slices w rice rolls.The unsweetened iced tea was free. The chopped ginger and soy sauce were great, free and on the table tops.Looking forward to going back here. I love Vietnamese food. I love food that has the Vietnamese Chinese vibe. And I cant recommend this establishment enough!
If you want simple, delicious, flavorful and clean chicken Pho then this is the place for you . I love how flavorful the broth is. You can tell it was cool in bones for a long time and not flavor powder - or worst msg. The result is a clean bold clear broth with fresh Pho noddles and free-range chicken. You can have it with the bones or without the bones. They also have minced ginger and chili soy sauce for you to dip the chicken in. The menu is very simple and short. They have Chicken Pho, chicken rice, papaya salad with and without beef, Banh Cuong (thin rice flour packed with meat), tea and coffee. Thatβs it. We have enjoyed this place for many years. Itβs a hidden gem. I hope you like it as much as we do.
Quick service, kind and efficient workers, sanitizing game on point, and all importantly the food is great. What you come for is the pho ga (chicken pho - bone in or off, noodles are customizable but standard is the medium width rice noodle, which I like better than the vermicelli). Broth has a rich flavor and enough fat to give it a good mouth feel. Ordered extra for the next day and thereβs a good jiggle to the broth. Also ordered the banh cuon (steamed rice rolls with cha lua (pork loaf), stuffed with wood eared mushroom, pork, and this one has an addition of shrimp), goi (Vietnamese green papaya salad with an option of shredded chicken or beef), Hai Nam chicken, and BBQ pork chop rice with fried egg and steamed cabbage. All tasty but would absolutely return next time for my chicken pho cravings.
One of the few places I know of in the SGV that sells and makes a great Duck pho soup and Hanain Chicken ππ meal.The staff is awesome and always makes me feel like a special friend every time I come to eat.
Chicken noodles soup is good, but its not like theres only one chicken noodles place in the vicinity. The portion is small. For the price, its kind of expensive to dine there. They serve small amount of noodles and meat compares to others. For this reason, I dont think that we would go there as much.
Soup base is chicken broth. The side dish like papaya salad and rice roll are yummy. The chocken is tender and skinny, good side not oily, bad side not enough meat. Overall it tastes.good and I will come back.
This place is a cute little gem in strip mall on San Gabriel Blvd.The menu is fairly simple with a few appetizer, rice plates, and noodles in each category.We shared the egg rolls and bahn cuon which were both very good. The rice paper wrapper on the bahn cuon were soft and fresh. The ground meat and mushroom inside also tasted delicious. The white meat or bologna on the side was just okay. The egg rolls were fried perfectly and served with fresh lettuce and cilantro.I ordered the duck and bamboo pho, which I havent seen in other Vietnamese restaurants. The soup was a simple chicken broth, however the canned bamboos flavor was very overpowering. It is definitely an acquired taste.Overall I would come back for the egg rolls and bahn cuon but probably stick to the pho ga.
Chicken pho broth is light and clean tasting. Chicken is cooked just right. Noodles were a bit over done but still good. Chicken and the chicken broth are the stars of the place. Im not positive but did not detect any MSG. Expect some waiting.

The best pho ga (chicken pho) I have tried. The broth reminds me of a good homecooked chicken soup. Best place to go when feeling sick or wanting that homey food. Friendly people, they already know what I like to drink and bring it to me as soon as I sit. Love this place!

Im extremely conflicted writing this review. On the one hand, this is my favorite pho ga in the area and I love coming here with my family. Its delicious, Its easy, its cheap, and theres never a wait... Which brings me to why I dont want to write a good review... The more people know about this place the more crowded it will be...

Used to be very good - full bodied stock with the noodles but it has really gone downhill. Its no longer worth the drive. Price is also very high.

The chicken noodle soup or chicken rice is of a very high standard, the chicken has a umami flavor, the soup base doesnt seem to have a lot of MSG (at least I cant eat it because I hate MSG), and the price is reasonable. There were many customers when I visited, and there must be many people who agree with the quality of this store.
Its only 50 meters away from my home. Its a delicious meal that you can eat without going out. Its very convenient. Green papaya salad is good, moderately sweet and sour, highly recommended

2021-09-28 01:55:37Found this place today for some great Chicken Hainan Rice. Their chicken is extremely fresh, cook in the morning and cut . However itβs served with bone so if you donβt want that or used to it maybe you pass. But also the fragrant rice is very good and the best part is the ginger the restaurant makes fresh each day ππ Also chicken soup that comes with it is good. I ate everything on the plate and wanted more π€ͺ price was $13.50 and $1.5 for a coke π

2023-06-23 21:57:21Probably my favorite place to get chicken pho. Their chicken meat itself tastes so fresh! I got the half and half with half bone-in and half boneless meat. Their homemade broth is light, clean, yet flavorful and not overpowering. And, I donβt know whatβs in their spicy soy sauce, but it is spicy and I love it along with their ginger sauce. ππ€€π²ππ I was able to call in and pick up with ease, everyone was friendly and efficient every step of the way. Great experience, would recommend!

2023-06-17 22:49:33Nice clean trendy spot. Not your traditional old school pho spot with 100 menu items. They have a limited menu, like maybe 5-8 items of 4 categories. But what they serve is good, just not great. The broth is clean (maybe too clean) and not greasy, the meat is tender, and the egg rolls are good. Service was fairly quick and seating was immediate. The parking lot is really small and crowded, even on weekdays.

2023-05-10 21:05:07I love pho, unfortunately Pho Ga was just not it for me. On a top rated list of good Pho in LA it did not satisfy my craving, I wanted to try it since it was on a top Pho list. Me and my boyfriend went and it was very underwhelming. The pho itself overall was not good. The soup tasted very bland and the meat felt and tasted like it was frozen and thawed out. The whole soup itself had no flavor and it tasted like chicken noodle soup. I was very disappointed. Will not be returning.

The place was clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. Felt like a family run business, I really enjoyed it! You should check it out. Theres often lines with people waiting outside. Some people call in their dine in orders.
