Pho & Grill in San Dimas

Was in the mood for pho and this place did not disappoint! The meat was tender even when cooked in the broth. The House Special has 5 types of beef and it does not skimp on the meat! The bread was SO delicious and crisp! I really enjoyed the egg rolls and the sauce as well. Definitely would try more here.

We had the house pho in the extra large size tonight. It had beef ball, sliced rare ribeye, brisket, and tendon in a broth with noodles. Soup was good and it was a nice big serving. We also had the egg rolls

Great place overall. I ordered the house Pho #32 (Pho Dac Biet - with sliced rare ribeye, brisket, tendon, and beef ball). It was pretty good, but might have had a very SLIGHT lack of flavor. Also, I wish they had tripe, but it wasnt an option. On a positive note, they did NOT skimp on the meat. The pho was very meaty - large pieces and lots of them! I would definitely order it again. I was a little bummed that I asked for the house pho and I didnt realize until my bill came that they brought me an XL. I did notice right away that it was very big, but I hadnt noticed there were size options so I thought it was their standard size. I wish they would have clarified that with me when I ordered. It would have made more sense to put in a regular size as the default, not an XL. Anyhow, the spring rolls (shrimp & pork) were ok, but also lacked just a little, tiny bit of something.The restaurant itself was nice, clean, modern, and spacious. They had calming music playing and it was a very nice atmosphere. The service was excellent - fast & friendly. Looking forward to trying out more menu items.

I ordered brisket pho. It was tasty and they give you a pretty generous portion of thin sliced brisket. Bean sprouts, fresh basil, chili peppers, slices of lime is included. Also in the dish are onions and cilantro. The broth was hot and flavorful and the rice noodles were lighter and less heavy than flour noodles. I went at dinnertime and they were busy. The food is good and the restaurant is popular.

I came here for lunch with my dad since he loves Pho. It’s conveniently located near the fwy exit in a great shopping center. The restaurant itself was very clean and busy. The servers keep everything tidy and each table fully stocked with utensils and sauces. The booths are spacious and can comfortably fit 4 people. The menu had a great variety of food and drinks. I order the beef vermicelli and my dad ordered the regular sized pho and we each got the fresh young coconut. My dads pho bowl was huge and absolutely full of meat and noodles with a side of bean sprouts and fresh mint. He was thrilled and said the taste and quality was excellent! My vermicelli was HUGE! It came with 3 egg rolls and fish sauce on the side. I could t believe how flavorful the meat was. It was one of the best vermicelli bowls I’ve had. So fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, lots of veggies and noodles-it was so good I ordered another one to go for my mom. The fresh young coconut did not come in the actual coconut. It came in a glass with the coconut meat added and it tasted like it did come straight from the coconut. Overall, the prices are very very reasonable, the quality of food is excellent, the service is fast and great-this is our new favorite pho spot! I highly recommend coming here for an affordable and delicious meal.

A good choice for some hearty pho! Friendly and attentive staff, great service. Spacious interior with nice ambiance and soothing music. Tried the house special which included all beef options. The regular sized bowl is plenty. Broth was delicious, meat was tender, and noodles were well cooked. I’ve definitely had worse food for higher prices. Highly recommend!

I tried the bún bò Huế (a dish Id never tried before, though I am well familiar with various versions of phở) and I was impressed. The beef tendon was unusually tender, the fresh herbs were a nice contrast to the rich beef and pork, and the broth was sublime. The thick noodles make for a somewhat messy slurp, but thats part and parcel of the dish.Service was friendly and quick, and the general vibe of the place was that of a perfect lunchtime spot.I will absolutely be returning, and I will *also* be trying bún bò Huế elsewhere because I might have just found my new favorite Vietnamese dish.

One of my favourite go to pho joints. Plenty of booth sitting and tables. This place consistently has one of the better tasting pho broths as well as a good bun bo hue soup. Fast service and great eats.

The restaurant was extremely busy and under staffed. Of the 25 tables they were all seated and there was two servers. The entrees were well displayed and had authentic flavor, yet the restaurant was missing the ambiance to meet the quality of the food.

The server never came to check on us to even ask if we needed refills (which we did) so yeah not happy. Plenty of other places to try, been here done that, next...
