I dont like the way I am treated at this restaurant. Ive been there twice and will not be returning. When we walked in we were not greeted or seated. The employees literally stood or sat and just looked at us. So we chose our own seats and had to ask for menus. Meanwhile the next couple that came in were immediately pleasantly greeted seated and given menus and water. Our waiter did not hide his irritation at our presence. He was impatient and rude and paid us no attention the whole time. I asked for a Togo container because I was too uncomfortable to finish my food and I was given the container and a bag and then they watched as I struggled to transfer pho from the huge serving bowl to the plastic container. The food is okay but not good enough to get treated like you are being tolerated. I will not pay my money to be treated badly.

The pho is delicious! Most of the staff are friendly and helpful although there can be a language barrier for some that struggle in English but by far the best pho in the area. #16 and #17 are my favorite go to. The rare steak and add shrimp and then the meatball pho very good

Many of the reviews here, say that the service here (Magnolia location) sucks! And I would have to totally agree. The food, however, is really good. People have also said they are so confused on what to do when they come in & all you get is someone pointing to an open table. No hello, no smiles, no greeting, no nothing lol. Soooo if you have never been here... Let me give you some tips of what I have learned to do: When you walk in, and see an empty table just go ahead and have a seat. Most of the people that work there, know little to no English, so you will have to rely using your body language and a lot of pointing at the menu. I will post the picture of the menu for your reference lol. You will notice that every table has a number assigned to it... remember your number. When you are done eating, you may or may not get a check from your waiter... if you do great! You will have to take your check to the cashier and let them know what table number you were at. If you don’t have a check, just let them know what number you were sitting at and they will have the check at the cashier desk. So like I (& many others) have said, the service sucks, but the the food is always great & fresh. With that said, Good Luck!! 🤣

Employees are very nice people, I asked for suggestions and they were accommodating . Not sure what all the bad service reviews are about . Has a small family run atmosphere to it and Im perfectly fine with that. I ordered pho and ate it all, was yummy ! Friend also ordered a very delicious meal just cant remember its name . Love how they are open late to !

Celebrated my daughters birthday here. Emily (yep we share the same name!) and staff took good care of us! There’s about 20 of us in the party, bill came to about $22/person with tip. Good food & fast service ! Besides food, The mango smoothie, yummy!

The food was not that good. I love Vietnamese food and thought I would try this place out. I walked in, and several tables had old dishes on them, and it wasnt super clear if you seat yourself or if they seat you. The server sat me down was gone for about a minute, then stood at my table, waiting for me very impatiently to find what I wanted to eat on the menu. When you have never been to a place before, this is very annoying. I rushed to order my food. My appetizers came out after the main dish. The main dish was rice with beef stew. This wasnt bad. I have had much better. The rolls were not well rolled, and the peanut sauce wasnt very good. My spring rolls still had cling film on them. They dont co.e round to see if you need anything. Im not sure if everyone there is rude or just the male server. Even when I was checking out, he seemed to be inconvenienced by me. Overall, not a good night. Im already feeling a bit sick in the stomach as well.

Served lukewarm, but tasty.My issue here is that more than once, this place has overcharged, thinking that I don’t notice.Today, we were charged for 2 lemonades (only ordered 1) 2 orders of egg rolls (only ordered 1). We brought it to the waitress’s attention and she said that the order was correct. It was not.The issue is not so much that we overpaid—the issue is the attitude that we got for bringing it up, and that -this is not the first time-. While the food is nice, this interaction left such a sour taste in my mouth that after several years coming here, this was definitely the last time.Strongly recommend you do your own math before the bill comes to the table, and be ready to defend yourself.

Rude customer service, and the way how they talk to you when they are serving you the menu. Also they talk too fast to the point that they just want to take your order and walk away, this shows their true nature of being racist to non-Asian people. It sad that the environment there tells you to go somewhere else where they service you with a smile and not in a rush talkative way. Also shows how their food quality differs based on the clients ethnicity. Look somewhere else folks, there are other vietnamese restaurants that are better than this one.

My friend and I came for the 3rd time hoping our experience would be better. But it was not. Customer service is a mess. Although this last time were greeted by an older man, he was very friendly and had a smile. I order rare steak pho an spring rolls. My rare steak was not rare and my spring rolls were old. When I usually order rare steak at other places it comes out on a seperate plate raw and I cook it in the broth bc the broth is so hot. The spring rolls are usually amazing but this time they were falling apart and not edible. I ate only half of one of the 4. My friend ordered steak something, asked for another # combination with white rice, got something totally different. Egg fried rice and chunky steak when he asked for the thin sliced streak. He asked for a Coke 3 times it never came. He had to go up to the counter to get it. Our waitress was rude as everytime we have been. We will not be back. I love my pho and spring rolls but if Im paying $50 and rarely eat out: once or twice a month Ill take my service elsewhere.

Food was mediocre at best. The main reason for this two star rating was their level of customer service. The servers here couldn’t care less about the customers. When this restaurant first opened everything was amazing. Then several years ago something changed with the quality of the food. That wasnt so bad because it was still pretty good. Now fast-forward to this modern mess of a restaurant. The meat is chewy like it is old as well as overcooked, and the customer service is truly pathetic. I went in there and the whole time the workers were less interested, if not openly annoyed, in taking care of their customers and were more interested in brown-nosing the manager that was present. All in all, if youre in the area and craving some Asian food go anywhere else and youll be better served.

The food is so amazingly good. Came here with my mom and lil sis and we enjoyed every bit of our food. Theres indoor dining and the food came out at a good pace! I see some comments about the wait staff being snappy, but being asian myself I know thats just how some of us asians are lol! It didnt turn me away from the dining experience at all. Warning: do not go on Friday nights or saturday nights. It is usually parked or full if you will. And your food will either take too long to be served which is not an issue but the food will either cold or not good.Or if you go 30 or less before they close, the food just taste like they have been sitting there all day and are not cooking fresh food, my opinion.Honestly, the food is good if they are not busy

We usually stop by this place for Vietnamese food because of its location. Not many Vietnamese restaurants in Riverside area. Great location by Tyler Mall. Food are average in my opinion because I expect more authentic Vietnamese style and taste. Price is reasonable. Workers are friendly but I guess they dont have enough training in the restaurant industry. For example, we had 5 people in our party, they brought out food for 2 people, then we waited for more than 5 minutes before they brought out another pho. We ordered the identical bowl. They should bring out at the same time. Then we wait again for the food of the last two people. Again, they are very nice workers. Just need a little more training.

It is really frustrating when none of the servers speak English and the orders are constantly wrong. I try to flag the owner behind the cashier to get his attention but he does not care. He also doesn’t seem to understand English.More importantly, the food has deteriorated over the years. I have been coming here for a long time and it has just worsened. Went there because Pho Star bowl was closed and I was need of some Pho. First off, you find your own seat in there, which isn’t bad but you’re confused because most restaurants in the area seat you. The most important reason I’m rating and the only reason I’m rating is to spread awareness about Pho Star Bowl just down the street which is so much better than this place. The first reason is the meat. This place Pho Ha, has terrible quality meat. I order Pho with well done brisket and most of the meat in the bowl was fat. The second reason is because the customer service lacks. It isn’t bad but easy to tell that they just don’t care. Overall if you could take anything away from my review is to save your money and just go a block down to Pho Star Bowl. It has better food, customer service and ambiance.

My favorite Pho in Riverside! Nice portion; good flavor. I always leave satisfied! I also recommend the Spring rolls and an avocado smoothie (with boba!) - they have the fat straws to manage it! Fast service; reasonable prices. Cash only - a bummer - but they have an atm right next to the register.

Worst service I have ever gotten! I dont trust the people at this restaurant. First they got our order wrong, I ordered veggie spring rolls and the guy brought me shrimp and pork spring rolls. When I told him the order was wrong he said he would fix it but didnt, I got my soup and I had to ask again for my spring rolls. My sister ordered a smoothie with water instead of milk and they gave her milk anyway, when she asked for her order to be fixed the guy at the counter looked at me like he had bad intentions. Once I got my spring rolls I wasnt hungry any more. When I got home three of the rolls were made with glass noodles and one with rice. The jerk purposely made one with rice in spite. Cant trust people like that. If theyll do something like that in spite even though it was their mistake they got the order wrong, you can only imagine what else they will do. Definitely not vegetarian friendly even though they have a couple veggie choices. Plus on top of that we got a huge prejudice against women vibe. Horrible place. I never write reviews but I simply could not be silent about this one. Eat there at your own risk but know you have been warned. All the bad reviews on here are right. I should have read them before having to go through such terrible experience.

There would often be times where I have my hands raised for quite a long time just for water refills... After they take your order they dont follow up if you are okay you just order. First off, let me say, Pho Ha has some GREEEAT tasting food! However service here is always hit and miss. Some days (depending on the employee) they have great service. Other times they have very lousy service. Like today. We were a party of 3. We ordered quite a bit of food consisting of 4 entrees and 3 drinks plus 3 waters with lemon. First off I ordered the steak and rice entree. Asked to add mushrooms. When the food came it had no mushrooms. I brought it to the attention of one of the waiters and I feel like he just didnt understand what I was trying to tell him. He responded by saying they had no mushrooms. Why wouldnt they tell me that in the first place?? On one of my previous visits one of the waiters actually suggested I add-in mushrooms. Then we asked for lemon because they didnt put lemon in our waters and we also wanted some for our Pho. The waiter brought 2 paper this slices of lemon. We asked for more lemon and he brought 2 more paper thin slices of lemon. I then had to ask him for 2 whole lemons cut in half instead of having him bring the same lousy slices of lemon. The staff has no sense of organization. 2 sets of customers walked in the door and waited to be seated since there is a sign that states just that. Wait To Be Seated. The first customers (party of 3) had to chase someone down to be seated. The second customers (party of 4 or 5) just ended up seating themselves. There was another customer that had already ordered his food and he had arrived before we did. My party of 3 got all our food and he still had not been served. He brought it to the attention of one of the waiters and he apparently didnt understand because he just kept staring at the customer and said nothing. The customer got up and walked out the door with his drink in hand. With that said, I keep coming back to this restaurant because I love their food. And I think that is what keeps all their customers coming back again and again. If they could just work on their friendliness and being organized they would definitely be a more successful business and have more satisfied customers.

My gf and I walked in and the waiter pointed to a table for us to sit. We sat down and must have waited 10 mins, but no waiter ever came to even offer us water. My gf would look to see if someone would come get our order but they were just standing and talking amongst each other. I witnessed an employee drop a spoon on the floor while he was filling one of the spoon holders at a table adjacent to where I was seated. He was pulling the spoons from a bin that he carries from table to table. He picked the spoon up set it on the Table and continues to fill the spoon holder but, right before he finished he put the spoon that fell on the floor in the bin AND TOSSES ALL THE SPOONS TOGETHER AS IF HE WAS TOSSING A SALAD.I let the manager know, but he was not concerned! Another employee was listening and took the bin back to have all the spoons in the bin washed but, I cant imagine what is going on in the back while no one is looking.I worked in a restaurant for 10 years and Ive never done anything like that Nor allowed my staff to. The pho is really delicious, but the customer service sucks. Theres a middle aged man thats ALWAYS at the register. He has a serious attitude, is very rude and acts like you paying for your meal is an inconvenience to him. Also nobody there knows much English, so trying correct your order when they get it wrong or just trying to get utensils is a struggle.

Its always a great experience here at Pho Ha. It feels like home, but at home we dont know how to make pho. The food is very hot like it sopose to be. If you already have experience with Vietnamese food, you are better off than I was. There are many choices on the menu. My daughter and I had no idea what to order. There was a serious lack of communication from the tall male server and myself. We took a chance and ordered from the menu pictures. The server then brought our orders and a plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime slices and some kind of plant branches.(?) When I asked him what these are, his reply was yes.(?) I finally found out at the end of the meal that they are Basil branches. I asked him if we were supposed to eat them? He said yes.(?) When trying to pay the bill, the girl at the register was more interested in reading her text messages than taking my money! So, in conclusion, the food was ok, but I think I will try a different place next time. I need to know what I am eating.

I gave them 1 stars because they have Very good food, but there attitude stinks. You ask for something and they give you an ugly face or just walk away from you after you say thats all. Just got here, was confused since there is no one to greet you. So, just walked towards the back where the register is, didnt get greeted there either, even though some male is sitting there. I am very disappointed asinc I was looking forward to eating a delicious pho soup. I wont be coming back the waitress never came to check if everything was ok. I kept having to raise my hand to ask for stuff. It takes years to build an empire but seconds to grumble. I wont be surprise if it closes down. I am never ever putting a foot in there.
