The parking lot was an an absolute mess when I arrived due to some construction, but the location is in an area of tight parking and congestion even without it.I ordered chicken pho to go. It be as ready quickly. Service was friendly. And the food was just uninspired. It wasnt bad, but it was below average in flavor. Everything else was well executed. Cant recommend the dish I got, but if other pho places are too spicy for you, this might be a good fit.

My friend ordered the fried chicken with rice and I ordered the vermicelli noodles with grilled beef steak, and onions. The food was very good, the service was a bit slow but attentive. The atmosphere was a bit tight but also cold.

Food taste is consistently good.However, Customer Service is sometimes very no good. Dont get me wrong. Owner (Mr) is very hard worker, I can see that. I like this place but i am gonna give critical review for more better service and for more bright future of the restaurant.I am not looking for great service. I am looking for avg services. No water refills nor table check for what customer needs, after finished my meal I waited at least 10 mins to get a check, and i go to the counter. If it was busy, i get it but so far my experience of restaurant industry. (Today wasn’t.) I aint cheap and I usually give average tip but today i paid no tip. Because my money is hard earned by me. I can’t give someone just like Joe Biden give money on Ukraine.Hopefully it’s better next time.I recommend all foods on here.Vietnamness coffee is super strong, if you sensitive. I do not recommend. If you need boost from tired life, I recommend.

So frustrated and disappointed.We came to the restaurant to order to-go today. When we unpacked our order back home, we found that the add-on lean brisket (A6 in the receipt, $14.45) was missing, so I called them and requested a refund. But they refused to do that and insisted they’ve counted the number of item for every takeout order. Apparently there is no lean brisket in my ox tail noodle soup! I even tipped them 15% for this order. Will never come back again.

They close at 9:30, I came in at 8:50. The guy told me that since I didn’t come before 8:45, I could only order food to go… I said I just want to order a soup and will finish it in 10 minutes, but the guy said that people would always say that and stay for a long time. I explained again that I am very hungry and will eat quickly and leave, but it was still an absolute no for him…What’s even more upsetting is that he stared at me like his worst enemy!!! It seemed to him that I came in at night just trying to keep him from going back home.To the restaurant owner: IF YOU SEE YOUR CUSTOMERS AS BURDENS, YOU SHOULD JUST CLOSE THE RESTAURANT AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO STAY AT HOME.

This Vietnamese eatery is a franchise. We enjoyed the nice outdoor patio but the food wasnt that good. The Ox Tail Pho contained meat that was tough and rubbery instead of being soft and tender. The Lemongrass Chicken didnt have any lemongrass in it, lacking the smell and flavor of the actual dish.

I used to get a reasonable portion from this place when ordering a #1 for 9$ just a few years ago. Today that same #1 is half the size, didnt have any of the additional ingredients, just rare beef, and cot 16$. I know times are lean but thats too much to spend to be disappointed and hungry when youre done. People there are always very nice.

Run, don’t walk here!Coming from a Viet, this place passed the authenticity check. The pho was on par and the best part was the young coconut. Came out ready to go so all you had to do was stick a straw in it and enjoy. Best part was getting the meat afterwards! I look forward to coming back for when I’m feeling homesick.

Bad quality control, bad customer service. As i started to eat my pho, I founds a mealworm attached to a piece of broccoli. My husband got up quietly and showed the manager. He denied it was a bug, told us it was nothing, and to continue eating. Grossed out and concerned about the quality of the rest of the veggies, we paid and left. He charged us full price for the food that we did not eat.

If there was a -⭐️ that’s what I will give them. By the time we got there, there were only 2 tables occupied (already eating) we placed our order and 3 more tables came after that. 2 out of those 3 tables got their food first, by the time I got mine, which was 15 min after, the order was wrong! Wasn’t what I ordered (not even close). They “correct” the order and there I am waiting while I see 3 more tables come and get their food. 10 minutes past and the waiter comes and says “the food is coming”. I waited 10 more minutes and no food coming at all so I asked then to bag it to go. 10 more minutes and still no food. Of course while I was waiting more people were coming and getting their food. Really? 50 minutes for fried rice? Unbelievable! Ended up canceling the order.

Picking up some online order in the weekend afternoon, the place was empty, while the neighboring eateries were packed. The manager didnt bother to say hi, while the clerk at the register was consumed with social media like a zombie. While waiting, I suspected the bags of food at the counter were my order and ready, I questioned them why no one was tending to the order? The manager seemed caught off guard from his siesta, countered and became defiant, saying they have the right to refuse anyone. Guess they have the right to hit a few flies too, while one could hear one’s echo. Pathetic with such a deserted place, no surprise they had to pawn a few items to afford refusing anyone!

Weve been coming Pho Ha, 1619 E Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821, since 2006 whenever we do not want drive to Westminister.Recently there are new service staff and it has not been the same, the services are worse.Specifically on Tuesday 11-8-2022, we went there for a meal. The server which we do not know his name, he is the short short man who was very rude, aggressive, and unprofessional.We had to wait for some time before we were seated and then waited for a long time to place our order. The short man took our order and my food came out almost completely wrong.Not only did he not apologize, he was not at all accommodating.While I was still waiting for the missing meat of my Pho, he suddenly came to my table, rudely yanked my bowl away from me and harshly told me I overheard that your food was wrong, what is wrong with it, tell me, I will get a new one for you that was redundant as he already knew what was wrong with my food. I felt that he came back to bully me for complaining.He sarcastically replied to everything I requested or asked and ignored my requests.I then requested another server and its also ignored.Our meal was extremely unpleasant, we should have left without eating our food, but we didnt and during the entire meal none of the servers came over to check if we need anything at all.But when I went to the counter to pay, the short man came over quickly and now he suddenly nice to me and asked if everything was ok.I kept quiet and paid without including a tip, the short man followed me back to our table to check if we left cash tip which we didnt, the short man complained to my partner, but he did not understand the short man.The short man had the audacity to chase after me to lecture me that I need to tip. I told him no tip, then he further dictated that I should only order to go. I replied that I will never come back.We thought that after we were horribly mistreated, we felt that a tip was not deserving.There are so many Pho restaurants, we would prefer to drive farther than coming back to that place.The 1 star was required to leave a review, otherwise it would be no star.We saw many similar reviews about the terrible service at this location.

Great local pho spot in Brea with excellent flavors. The eggs rolls and #16 rare steak are our go-tos. The Soda Chanh is another favorite. The place isnt overly large and can get crowded at times, but the food is worth it. Service is usually pretty fair, but have been a few times of late they were less than attentive. Its not usually an issue until its time to go and youre waiting for your check. With little ones when its time to go, we need to GO. Otherwise, thisis where we enjoy going when we want good hot soup Ina cold day. Or really any day for that matter.

Food is great, made multiple stops here for lunch. Only downside is the service, sometimes is good and sometimes the complete opposite. This visit I asked for water to start, server said okay and walked to her chair and went on her phone. Asked second time from the server that took my order, food came and no water. #39 is my fave. Delicious bbq beef served up hot and sizzling fajita style on a personal cast iron griddle. Dieters can totally have this too, just let them know and you can swap out the rice for steamed veggies. My family and I have been going here for several years, their food & service is always consistently delicious. Weve tried other pho ha places but theyre not as good, theyre over priced and they dont have #39 😉

Menu well explained with pictures, including the types of meats in the pho.Service was good, but it seems as if they get directions from management to discourage costumers towards closing time. We got there and some seem kind of surprised and looked at us as an uninvited guess or something. It was about an hour before closing, even though the closing time was peeled off the door.Another family that came in half an hour before closing was allowed to sit by greeter, but a manager type of lady came out to let them know they close in half hour without being clear about what that would mean at that time. They got up and left and no efforts were made to avoid that.

Its really disappointing to experience the recent customer service here on just take out. I used to sit at this place with my family when it was dine in and the food is good. Im not sure who is currently running it but the person at the front is a rude gentleman. He has been rude over the phone about 3x and in person to my husband and I as well. Its unfortunate because we love the food but my husband thinks we should not support this local business. We found a place near by that we will not have to take a long drive too anymore.

Overall a good Pho place. Service could be better but overall not bad. Its good Pho for an okay price with decent service. I have had better Pho and better service but if you know Pho its fine. I would happily go back but I know better places. I will say it is clean and serving sizes are fair. Large is basically the same as regular though like a lot of pho places. Know what to expect and you wont be disappointed.

If I could give no stars I would. Have been here many times and will never go back. Really craving Pho and this place just ruined the experience. They are completely racist. Waiting almost an hour and still no food, but every other Asian that walked in got their food right away. Time after time the gal said she forgot our food. We have kids with us that are super hungry. Asked for the check because we were not going to wait another hour for food and they charged for pretty much everything. Will never return to this racist staffed restaurant and will not recommend this place to anyone either.

Besides the great choices for pho, they have a variety of other appetizing plates that always make it incredibly difficult to choose only one. I forget exactly what it is called but #66 is one of the most delicious meals I have had from a Vietnamese restaurant. I would highly recommend trying that one out!

Their egg rolls are very good and they serve it with the lettuce and mint to wrap it. I love their fried tofu with chili sauce too! The service is quick and terse. This place doesnt have a lot of fancy frills but your will get a well season and cooked meal. The pho broth is really tasty btw! I also recommend the mixed seafood clay pot! The menu has lots of pictures and numbers to make it easy for first timers!

We gave this place a 4 for the Pho. It is a lil fatty but really yummy. The crispy noodle dish was something new for us but we gave a 3 star rating for the preboiled chicken used in the dish and also there was no pork as the menu described for number 68. The pork rolls rice wrapping was a lil soggy. We will probably come back but only for the yummy Pho.. it is close to our place. I recommend that the waiter removes the plates from the table without dragging the dirty dish cart around.

Well, stopped in about 0930, had rare steak pho, no scallions, no onions, just meat, LOTS of noodles, and broth. That burned me up no scallions or onions. Broth was fine, meat was fine. Fresh water sprouts and jalapeno. The bowl size I thought was small, but I ordered large. Thats the new thing now with these pho shops, they are all going to smaller bowls now, but charging the same thing they were with the old larger bowls. Too bad! Smaller portions for same cost. Screwy location, hard to park. Got to the cashier, they dont even have petty cash in register to start the days business. Cashier tried to charge me for someone elses more expensive. meal. This is a favorite pho place of mine. Its conveniently located near Imperial Highway and the 57 freeway. Every time that Ive gone here, Ive been satisfied with my pho. My spouse, who is a vegetarian, is pleased with her options and the taste of her vegetarian pho (which doesnt always happen). Also, if you like durian, they have a good durian smoothie, which is sometimes hard to find. I recommend this to anyone who likes soup.

My favorite pho place in the OC area. Ask for some chili oil instead of sriratcha and hoison. It really makes for a spicy delicious pho without detracting from the broth. All the other stuff is good too. Great bun, fried shrimp and vegetables with friend noodles is delicious too.

Been here several times, but today I ordered veggies on a bed of soft egg noodles (#74) since I was staying away from fried stuff, but they brought it on a bed of crispy noodles(#75), I told them that this was not what I ordered, the guy came and tried to convince I ordered wrong, then he looked at the menu and realized they made a mistake,, so he apologized and took the plate back to the kitchen, then few minutes later the girls came back with the same plate and a side of soft noodles and told me to transfer the veggies from the first plate and eat. I was too tired and hungry to argue with them.. but I don’t ever want to go back.
