Casual place to eat and hang out.. good and average food .. price is a bit higher than I remember ..but its worth it....always busy... fast service.. but dont rely on your server to return after getting your food out.. they move along and kinda forget they have a table.. u must wave them.down all the time if you need anything....would I recommend.. if you dont care about being catered.. then this is the place for you...its like eating to go food there. And they avoid you..

After 9 years since my last review here, still a place that I can rely on for fast, and good Vietnamese food. Even through COVID-19 they made me feel safe to order there. They did try a online order system, but unfortunately is not there anymore. So if you want to order phone is probably the easiest, if you want your food ready when you arrive.My go to dishes :Spring Rolls (still so fresh and good with their peanut sauce)Vermicelli with Charbroiled Pork and Grilled Shrimp. - this is usually pretty good, but I think it also depends on the chef that day. For example this past Sunday when I ordered it, I believe it was the best I have ever had this dish here, then there would be other times when it seems like the pork was too cooked, or there wasn’t much in there, making it quite inconsistent. Either or this dish is still great, I just hope to be able to have what we did this past weekend in the future.Chicken Wings- after how long did I not know this ? They have these wings that are really tasty with a bit of spice to it. I would just comment that I would just hope they have a bit more crisp to it, then I would order them all the time !Again, happy this place exists, seems like no matter what dish I get, they are usually pretty good! Finally visited the original Pho Ha location in Pomona and it didnt disappoint our experience only made us want to return soon. Freshness and flavors were on point, great tasting food. Ordered a couple of kumquat lemonade drinks, thai tea boba and a coke along with crispy rolls to start, the sauce that comes with the rolls is yummy with a hint of spicy, great starting appetizers! Main dishes, ordered egg noodles combination stir fry (soft) kids loved it, medium-well steak dish full of flavor with sauce to add to your liking and it came with a broth soup (loved it), and a charbroiled chicken breast with fried rice also with a broth soup.. all were awesome! It just looks appetizing and glad I took some images to share, believe me its great tasting food, fresh, good quality at reasonable prices, spent about $65 or so, not bad for a family of 4.

This location has plenty of parking spaces and is very clean. The servers were nice and the food came out quick! Really good PHO! The Thai tea was also bomb. Definitely recommend stopping by and getting a bowl.

I cant give this place enough stars. I went with 8 others early in the morning, we had pho, fried rice, hard noodles, vermicelli, spring rolls, eggs rolls, and more. The food was perfect, service prompt and friendly, place was super clean where I could see including the bathrooms. Thanks for making my day amazing!

Hands down 5 stars+ flavor every time! The best pho I know of! I will bust a mission to eat here, because its so good!!! Salt and pepper calamari, shaken beef, chicken pho, chicken sandwich, super good! You have no idea until you try! They know whats up! And its been the same since I could remember. First time here was more than 5 years ago!! Still as I remember. Service is getting better too!

Great food, nice people, but they LOST my credit card. And now I get a reply that I LOST my card, after I gave them the card to pay the bill. The gall to say that is immense. They eventually found it, but they didn’t offer to compensate me in any way, nor apologized for it. They found it three hours later, but I had already ordered a replacement. We’ve been going there for some time. What happened is unacceptable.

I have been going to this place for years but overtime the prices have gone up but the quality didnt. I had a great dining in experience back in the day. However recently, tried their pick up orders and it just wasnt the same quality and taste that it used to have. We ordered the their house special combination pho, Seafood noodle, egg rolls, two ice coffees.We liked the egg rolls and the sauce that came with it. Soups were very mediocre. There was nothing so crazy about the soups. They didnt give all the ingredients like cilantro and mint leaves that are essential parts of the soup. My biggest disappointment was the coffee. They were tasty but for almost $5 each, you get sooo little coffee. I would never recommend ordering their to-go coffee. I specifically asked for little ice and you can see on the picture how much Ice they put.This place is not WORTH it at all!! We wont be returning.

Came here around 1pm, it was raining and it was swamped! The food here is all around good been coming here for years, usually the soup is rich, this time it tasted a bit watered down or diluted. Drinks didnt come with straws and napkins were scarce. The Spring Rolls were delicious as always, we walked away stuffed. They dont only have soup they other very tasty dishes.

Bad service. I ordered my food and she took my money then went into the back, when she came out again she was serving food to someone so i sat down on the small couch they have. I didnt get a receipt or my change until i went up much later to someone else that was at the cash register. As i was driving home i noticed the bag was a little wet on the bottom but i didnt mind that until i got the bag and was about to walk into my home when it fell apart on the sidewalk and i carried everything in my hands inside. Im not neccessarily sure how it got worse as the soup was inside a tub and inside another separate plastic bag inside the paper one.

On my way back from Palm Springs and wanted to get some food so wanted Pho from the hangover. This place was packed so that was a good sign that it was going to be good. Pho was great you should try it. Skip the meatball tho it taste pretty funky.

We came in with a large party, and the staff took good care of our group and all our requests for extra condiments. Staff seemed a little bothered by our many requests, I understand because there were so many of us, but customer service is very important, but they brought us what we needed when we asked. The food was good, even the small pho bowl was a little too much and I couldnt finish it. I would have asked for a take out container had I been going straight home right after. My shrimp soup could have had a bit more shrimp. Spring rolls with pork and shrimp were great! The area isnt very nice, but restaurant was a good experience. Definitely want to come back to try their banh mi! The lychee limeade was amazing but didnt taste much like lime!

On the 3rd time the guy said we are busy right now and hung up on me. Im sorry but what?! What kind of service is that? Im sad that this is whats happening, but Im editing my original five star review.TL; DR: Pho Ha staff misplaced our card, and we had to leave without it. It was later located after wed already canceled the card. We received no apology until my partner left a negative review online, which my partner updated after the card was located. The owners updated response now places the blame on us. You should not treat your customers this way. To potential customers: the food is great, but dont expect respectful customer service, especially if the staff make a mistake. Visit at your own risk.Full review: The food is great. My partner and I have been coming here for years. We bring our family here. We recommend it to our friends. We have truly loved this place. Unfortunately, a recent negative experience and the owners response (or whoever is managing their online presence) is not helping. Were genuinely sad to have this kind of interaction with what had been one of our favorite local businesses.My partner and I visited Tuesday; after wed finished, my partner handed his card to a staff member. They took the card to the register, charged it, and then misplaced the card. We waited for a while as they looked. While we were still there, we received no apology. Were all human; its not hard to lose a card, but it helps a lot if you at least say that youre sorry for causing your customer that kind of inconvenience. We ultimately left; after a few hours, my partner canceled the card. We received a text later that night saying theyd found it tucked underneath the card terminal, so that was good news, though there wasnt an apology in that text, either.My partner left a negative review that evening. At first, the owner (or whoever is managing their response to reviews) apologized, so my partner updated his review to 4 stars. Now, however, the updated reply says that we left and lost the credit card. No, we left after a staff member lost the card. The reply says that they found it for us; thats what the staff should have done after the staff lost it. My partner didnt put the card under the terminal; he didnt even go up to the counter until he needed to get the card back so we could leave. The owner goes on to say that we should be thankful. I am indeed glad that they found the card that they lost, but I just dont get the updated response. If Im misunderstanding their point, Im more than happy to update this review after someone reaches out to clarify. Misplacing the card was an honest mistake; failing to apologize for it until it had been posted online and then responding as though weve done something wrong and should be grateful that you found our card that your staff lost is just not the way to go. I know that things are tough right now; the holidays are stressful, and a lot of people are sick, so tempers flare up. Still, its pretty disheartening to get that kind of response from a business youve been going to with family for a long time. Please dont treat your customers this way.

Best Pho bar none in the nation! I have had Pho far and wide. This place is a real as it gets! Their Pho with hand made rice noodles is just the beginning, we have tried several of the food items, spring rolls fresh and fried. The Bahn mi sandwiches are on point and a ribeye so tender you could cut it with a fork. I cannot wait to go back and try something new and be highly surprised and satisfied. Its not authentic. Living in the Bay Area I got to try some real Pho. This seems like a cheap imitation of real Pho. The chicken is in chunks, not slices. The shrimp pho portion was 7 small shrimp. The broth was cold.

Regular size Pho bowl is very generous portion. A good amount of bean sprouts, basil, and lime are offered on the side. They spring rolls and fried egg rolls were reported to be tasty by my dining companions, as well. It wasnt terribly expensive; I felt like I got my moneys worth. The staff handled our large group without issue. Wasnt especially crowded on a Saturday morning but it wasnt empty, either. A significant portion of the clientele appeared to be Asian, which I took as good sign that the food wasnt too watered down in flavor in order to appeal to the American palate 😁

This food was great! Today was my first time there the rain brought me in, and I wanted to stay. The food was so delicious, the spring rolls second-best on the menu to the Pho. Everything is worth trying once. The service is polite, coordinated and hasty A+ in my book. I hadnt come here in years, but have been twice in the past month. First time back since expansion and remodel. It is a beautiful location to have a satisfying meal! If you like Pho this place is a must especially if you are in a hurry. Although this is a very popular place, you are seated promptly. The service is excellent and friendly although there can be somewhat of a language barrier, all you have to do is point out the number of the dish you want on the menu. I always order the Chicken Pho and the Pork Sandwich (Bau Mi?) not to be confused with the Pork Belly. Anyhow I am never disappointed or has anyone in the party Ive gone with ever been disappointed. The price is right! I have tried other Pho restaurants and they are never as good as Pho Ha!Only downside I drink iced tea and they do not have artificial sweetener (take your own)

I give this 4 stars just bc of the customer service, for some reason they assume every customer knows where everything is at and has been there before, I visited twice this week after reading this reviews and food was great both times but also both times different waiters had an attitude as if they were doing you a favor by servicing you. Welcome at the door an almost an unwelcome at the table. Bus boys were more helpful than actual waiters. I will be going back to this place but not as often and probably take out.

I really used to like pho and I used to come to this place very often for the past five years. The food was good and price was reasonable. But last time when I ordered Pho, the meat was slimy and strange taste and texture. I thought may be it was ok and may be I felt wrong. But, I should have trusted my senses. I became so badly sick at night and threw up all night. The next day I was so weak and exhausted.I hope no one gets sick as I did. I have been several times to this location! The food was great and delicious. The wait time was not long. The waiters and staff were polite and helpful with meal choices. Of course, the location might not be great, but their food is great. It is located on the border, between Pomona and Claremont. So, if by any chance, you are in this area, I would recommend a visit to this establishment. It is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants, where I enjoy eating!

The food was good, better than most pho places in the area, but that doesn’t really mean much. What really aggravated me was the service. First, it took a whole 35 minutes for a combo fried rice to come out. Everybody else got their food and was done with eating when we repeatedly asked where the rice was and if they had forgotten it. They hadn’t. It was included in the order, but it took very long. There weren’t even many people in the restaurant. Second, the servers are very lost and don’t have a certain area. They’re not responsive, waiting is usually if you want something, and there’s no promise they’ll deliver if you ask for things. I asked for napkins, because they gave us one napkin per person. I think because of the lack of designated servers everything gets lost in translation. The food was NOT good enough to cover the terrible service. We had high expectations, and are very disappointed.

This place is so so if you are craving PHO, which is not something I can rave about. Customer service is not great; I undertstand that when you are busy certain food items will come to you little by little, but when you have to wait almost 1/2 hour to get your kids beverages; you keep reminding the waiter and one of the food items that you ordered still never makes it to your table; not good. I ordered fried rice & they bring me steamed rice instead; whats this??? I had to cancel the other food order that never made it to our table; not a good thing when you are trying to give small businesses a chance and the service was a fail!!! I have got to tell everyone the food is good, but the service is terrible. And these people seem racist to white and Hispanic people. I took a friend there the other night and ordered 2 large Phos. Myself a white person and my friend a Hispanic were not treated very well by the servers. In fact they brought use a small plate of sprouts for our 2 larges soups. I asked for more bean sprouts, and the server wanted to charge me another $2.00. I asked to speak with a manager, but they refused to send someone over to discuss this. This really upset me because what they brought us originally, I would have gotten if I ordered the soup by myself. Show them how you feel about this posting, by going somewhere else. They dont deserve anymore of my business. I wouldnt have posted a single star, but I had to post one to have this posted.

LOYAL CUSTOMER. Ive been coming here since I was a kid, now I have a family of my own. I come here at least once weekly.Today 7/25/19 I ordered the usual large number 1 pho... they charged me 14$.. I always walk in with a 10$ and its like 9.80.. thats quite a mark up.. on top of that this is the first time they gave me the smallest portions of meat. 14$ for less of everything. Once I never even got my water before the table that arrive with a large group 10 mins later already had food and drinks. Theres has been a few other occasions but i think you guys get the point. I went to this Restaurant with my Co-worker on Friday 07-16-2021 at 3:45 PM, after we finish eating, I had 3 my Co-workers not finish their food, they want to bring home. I went to the counter and asked boxes to go. When I asked the person the boxes; he misunderstood that I asked food to go and he turn around and looked for food then stood there; we kept waiting w/o emty boxes. Next I called him again, when he came to our table and i asked where were the boxes, at this time he answered so rude to me and said that I said wrong and not clear the question. So grateful and thankful this place was open because my cousin & I were feeling under the weather and had a bad cough so we were in desperate need of some good hot soup! I have had many bowls of pho in my 27 years of life and a lot of places make them different. I happen to LOVE this places pho!! I hope its not MSG because there was something different about this recipe that made it extra yummy. Even though I was sick I could still pick up on a subtle difference in taste and they also had a unique leafy green on the side dish with the sprouts, Jalepenos and lime that traditionally comes with each bowl of pho. I inquired about the mysterious leafy green I had never seen before and the waitress politely responded coriander. I wouldve gave them 5 stars but the lady who we initially tried to flag down for something to drink was abrupt and rude telling us we have to wait. It could have been said in a more polite manner. My cousin & I both work in the food & beverage industry so we were polite & understood they were busy but the response back couldve been more respectful. The menu is expansive and has the standard dishes found in a typical pho restaurants. +1 for opening early in the morning. Pho Ha is located near Holt and Indian Hill in a meh neighborhood. They have been around for as long as I can remember, so they have withstood the test of time. Pho Ha has also recently undergone a remodel and expanded its size by three fold. The place gets pretty busy but there are plenty of tables. The atmosphere remains casual but everything is cleaner, new, and a bit modern. Service is friendly and the food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. However, you may need to flag down someone for service and bring your check up to the cashier.Bun with grilled pork, bean curd wrapped shrimp paste ($7.75) and add egg roll ($1)Theres no twist to this standard dish and it was executed well. The vermicelli noodles tasted fresh and were not dry, old, hard, or mushy. The pickled carrots added a nice saltiness and tang to the dish. The mixed springs, cilantro, scallions, and bean sprouts were fresh. The pork was tasty and well-marinated but a bit dry. The egg roll and shrimp paste were tasty and flavorful. Overall, the dish was fresh and tasty. I will get it again!The parking situation is ok. The lot is medium in size but fairly busy. Its also right next to a Food 4 Less, so theres also parking there. Horrible lunch. I felt queasy for over a day afterwards. Maybe it was the shrimp. Im Never going back. I wish I had paid more attention to how many newer ratings are low!

My go to Pho spot in Pomona, they were on Doordash for a long time but not anymore, wish they would get back on it, thats the only reason for the 4 star.

Good pho and egg rolls. The waiter needed to come around more oftern for drink refills ect instead of us looking for someone. :(
