2024-07-01 16:18:31Not for me. I came in for the Vietnamese egg rolls, which I love, and they were good but not incredible. I ordered their specialty Pho ( house special ) thinking I would give it a try. I should never order anything with tripe, tendons and beef balls in it. I would never have guessed they were real beef balls, but they were. And why use tendons and tripe when theres better meats out there. I suppose theyre catering to their population, so thats fine. Ive eaten enough ethnic foods to try anything once, but that was it. Once.

2024-05-22 15:40:42One of the best restaurants for Pho & Vietnamese foods. Good & fast service. Very fresh ingredients & delicious foods served here. They are clean & tidy. The only problem is they have limited parking spots! Their food is always fresh & doesn’t have that typical Vietnamese restaurant smell. (I think you know what I mean!)They serve quality foods at a very reasonable price. Also their desserts are very authentic & flavorful. They have clean restrooms and a very clean restaurant that deserves 5 stars.A must go Vietnamese Restaurant in a very good location in Loma Linda & Redlands area.

2024-05-03 20:41:27Been here several times now and each time I found the food to be fresh and delicious. Authentic aromas and flavors. The Phó, Bahn Mi, Cafe su da all good. 47a is one of my faves. Vermicelli noodle with sliced bbq pork, diced peanuts, bean sprouts, sliced carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, and fish sauce. So gud!

2024-02-14 23:19:48I so wanted this spot to be wonderful. I have had pretty great experiences at the sister location in San Bernardino, and so had really high hopes of having one closer to home to visit.Unfortunately the experience was less than stellar. I ordered the tofu spring rolls, the tofu bahn mi, the beef flank pho and tofu crispy noodles. The pho was tasty, with a rich broth and relatively generous meat. I wouldve preferred less fatty meat, but it was generally tasty. The Spring Rolls were incredibly bland. I realize its vegetables, tofu and rice paper - but Ive had some tasty tofu spring rolls in the past. The tofu seemed completely unseasoned and the lettuce in the roll was wilted. The dipping sauce helped, but didnt make up for the blandness. The bahn mi was also incredibly bland. The vegetables were raw, and not the traditional pickled veggies Im used to. The tofu was also incredibly stingy and there was no mayo or other spread on the bread. The bread itself was decent, but the rest of the ingredients were a let down. Finally the tofu crunchy noodle dish. This is a favorite of mine at other Vietnamese restaurants, but here it was greasy and soggy, instead of rich and crunchy. The vegetables on top were unseasoned and the gravy wasnt the rich topping Im used to.The service was decent after ordering, but we had to flag down our server multiple times to try to order. Additionally there was one server who didnt speak any English and despite asking for additional plates, bowls and silverware 3 times would walk into the kitchen and walk out empty-handed.Im hopeful this place gets its act together. I believe it has the ability to be a wonderful new local restaurant, but based on my experience it may take a while to go back and try it again.

2024-02-01 05:42:36The original spot is still on Mill Street, San Bernardino. This place is nicer and bigger. Parking is free but limited. Must.try their #1 Pho, #42a Banh mi with French bread, and spring rolls.

2024-01-15 20:52:30Spent $14 on number 42a and got a cup of noodle sized portion. My small water cup was literally larger. See photos. The soup was okay but theres much better choices for better prices literally across the street. I hope they make improvements.

2024-02-03 23:51:29Can’t go wrong with their Pho #1, Com Bo Luc Lac and Beef Stew.I have to confess that I have been going to their other locations in San Bernardino and Riverside for two decades. The flavors are familiar at this new restaurant but the staff has a little more growing to do to become at par with the established locations.

2024-02-25 02:09:30We got there, and we were attended immediately. We got seated and just looking around, first it was quite full (very good sign), second the place was decorated so nicely. I have Vietnamese friends and I gotta say, the decorations and vibe was Vietnamese, and it was so calm and comfortable. Third, the music matched the whole place. Fourth, we got what we wanted ordered within a timely manner and welcoming service. Fifth, we didnt wait long for the food(5-10min), and the food was amazing. The broth was so rich with flavor and the meat was delicious. We had spring rolls as appetizers (shrimp and chicken), delicious, everything tasted fresh, the veggies too. I would drink my water and it would go down by half and the server paid attention and immediately served me more water. They want you to have your food and drinks, nothing missing. Friendly all around. The price was reasonable as the bowls are huge and filled. Absolutely satisfied and definitely going again soon.
