My family and I come here often and we are never disappointed! There’s a small parking lot and a couple outdoor tables. The food has always been great and the service is warm and friendly!

Family owned eatery with delicious vegan pho! Most pho restaurants I’ve been to just have tofu and vegetable pho as the vegetarian/vegan option, but they have vegan beef and fish here! Definitely now my go-to Oakland pho spot.

Pretty good pho and bun bo hue. Second time ordering here through a delivery service and the broths have been good. This time around the veggies (bean sprout and other items) were browning and were steamed too much in the bag. We ended up tossing those items away and used fresh ones we had at the house. The meats in the BBH super tender and you gotta add the sauteed sauce to add the spice in the BBH. I wish they gave you banana blossom and shredded cabbage with it though. The eggrolls werent anything to write home about though.

One of my favorite restaurants in Oakland. Everything is fresh and there is a lot of thought in the preparation of each dish. We had the mango salad, spring rolls, beef pho, and meat over vermicelli.

I had a great experience at Pho Huong Que. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has a lot of options, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would definitely recommend Pho Huong Que to anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese cuisine or wants to try something new and delicious.

This was our first time eating Vietnam food. I ordered noodles with prawns and spring rolls. Whilst it was flavoursome, it wasnt very hot. Fortunately, my husband ordered a rice dish that came with a broth, so I poured some of that on. We had spring rolls as an appertiser. The bill came to just less than $50 with a tip. I thought that was a bit steep for what we had. Our waiter was very nice and patient with us.

Good seafood pho. My companion got a rice plate & couldn’t finish it. I only take one star away because the menu was so extensive, it took a while to decide…so we had to get someone’s attention to take our order. (There was only 1-2 other people in there already eating.) once ordered, the food came out fast & was really delicious! I also thought the tables & the black plastic spoons could have been a little cleaner looking. Otherwise really really delicious & they had a busy pick-up/take-out service going on. That could have explained their forgetting about us?

Solid pho spot on International but not my favorite one. Portions here are super generous and they fill up their combo pho with plenty of meat. I do like that I can order rare steak, fatty brisket, and tendon without it automatically coming with trip and beef balls.

My friend comes here a few times a week and really wanted to take me here for their special house noodles since I love Vien Huong. She said they it taste better, offer larger portions, and is cheaper than VH. Verdict: I approve.I ordered the house special noodles with soup on the side with egg noodles. The neighborhood is sketch so park in the private lot in the rear of the restaurant. I love their pickled garlic and jalepeno condiment. They offer a few tables for patio seating.

Some of best pho Ive had in the east bay. Broth was light but flavorful. My partner had the Hu Tieu and thought it was top tier. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the pho dac biet had too much beef and not enough tripe or tendon which is hardly an actual complaint. 10/10 will go again.

Love there Phö even though Im a vegetarian, I enjoy there vegetarian menu with Phö and all the rice dishes they offer for vegetarians. Very affordable and delicious food. The best thing is being able to eat there outside with social distancing at these covid times. Thumbs up for setting those tables outside.

All I gotta say is be sure to check what they put on the receipt before you pay. Requested a simple rare steak Pho bowl which was fair in price and was flavorful. However the older woman whom took my order obviously wanted me to get the LARGE bowl when I ask for the small bowl because what do you know 5 minutes later what comes out is a LARGE order bowl. Me thinking this was a generous SMALL BOWL ate it without question. When I went to pay they seemed to send the young long haired girl to process my receipt via iPad tried to quickly push LARGE bowl and tacked on $3 for what idk when all I got was water on the side which to my knowledge is free. Difference was $13 total or $19 total difference is clear as day. I explained out loud so people could hear me and what was going on which I know is the proper way of not getting screwed over from shifty business practices like this. Its not the end of the world however please watch whats input on your receipts people they might tack on additional costs to your order.

My favorite nearby spot. The food is delicious and authentic - you know it will be great when the menus are handwritten with love and its a family run joint. Yes the ambience isnt great, and several of the tables are broken. But thats how good the food is - no one cares about these things.

The pho broth was delicious! I’m giving three stars because there was inedible gristle in the soup. I love pho, and get it everywhere I travel. So I would come back here, but wouldn’t order the combination, which is typically my favorite. I did appreciate the free parking they have designated.

I had the most incredible Vegan pho! It was slightly spicy, SO flavorful, warm and delicious. I loved their meat substitutes (except for one, but I just pushed it to the side lol). I have tried many pho places and this was one of the best I’ve had.

AMAZING PHO!!!! I live in the area, I have tried every single pho spot around the international area and this place was absolutely delicious. The thing that stood out the most for me was the meat. I always get Chin in my pho and the meat was so incredibly fresh and soft. I was really impressed. This is definitely my new go-to spot! Not to mention the owner/man at the front was so kind and gave me multiple refills of hot tea for free while I waited. Freshest Pho in Oakland, definetely check it out!

I have been coming to this place for years! I have tried all of the pho restaurants on International, but this is the place that I never stray away from. Just alone, the pho broth is a 10/10. I recommend coming early when they open, I feel like the broth is the best in the morning. I have tried many of their appetizers and plates as well, I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this place!

If someone asks me where to go for good, reasonable priced, authentic Vietnamese food in Oakland, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. In fact, I would put it on top 3 of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the Bay Area. Service is average, foods take about 10-15 minutes to arrive at your table. Theres outside sitting if you want some fresh air while enjoying your favorite dishes.

Papaya salad was pho-nominal and the pho was amazing as well. Reasonable pricing, and I knew it was going to be authentic when most of the patrons were old Vietnamese men and women reading their newspapers from home. Along with one of the servers minimal English (in a place like this I see it as a positive, a sign that i am about to eat a truly authentic meal). Seems to be built in an old diner establishment, and has the same feel but as its own now. Been recommending to all my friends and will be returning regularly!

Last week I placed an order for a side of spring rolls and a Thai tea to go and standed on the side & waited over half an hour. Finally, after seeing 2 people Who came in AFTER I did, I asked about my order. He looked at my receipt and started yelling something to the chef & within 10 mins my order came out. In a situation like this, I think its not asking much for a, an apology or recognition that they slipped up and or B, a small discount or extra drink would have showed me that they prioritize their customers getting fair and just treatment,.Nothing more or less. That being said, the rolls were pretty tasty and I appreciated the fresh local ingredients that were used. I would like to go back because my doctors office is right near them but I have a hard time justifying it when I look back on my last experience

This is my go-to Pho spot in Oakland!Food - They are very generous with their protein and the broth is tasty. I always want to get Pho when I go here so can’t comment much on the other food, but they have a very decent sized menu. I actually really love their avocado smoothie. I think it probably has condensed milk in it or something. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I also get the cafe sua da and it’s standard.Ambience - It’s in an older building and could probably use an upgrade, but it gets the job done. I wouldn’t say it gives a very hip vibe or anything. It’s very standard and has all the utensils and space that you need to eat pho.Parking - They have their own tiny little parking lot, so that’s convenient. The spots are kinda tiny, but there’s enough spots usually for you to not have to street park.

First time going here for the new restaurant since this location was another restaurant. I ordered a small meal so I have a lot to try which Im looking forward too. I ordered the veggie spring rolls and man they were so good and crispy!!!! I cant imagine how good the other plates are. After having spent a month in Vietnam enjoying the fare at the source, I became vegetarian ( unrelated as the food is delicious). Of course one of my favorite soups is Pho. That was off the menu until this place. Most vegetarian Pho broths fail to have any depth of flavor and are often quite disappointing. The soup here is full of flavor and very meaty with no meat. Very satisfying with a solid vegetarian menu that will definitely fill that craving. This is mostly a family operation and the service is great with beautiful people working here. I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants through the Bay and this is one at the top. Especially for vegetarians and Vegans. I have been coming here for years and have no intention of stopping.

I asked a cooking instructor who specializes in Vietnamese food for a recommendation for authentic Vietnamese food in Oakland. Rang Dong was among her top two picks! Weve been twice. I ordered Pho the first time and the Tomato Soup the second time. Both soups were excellent! My friend had a clay pot dish with seafood and fish. He also enjoyed his meal very much. The portions are very generous and the staff are extremely friendly. They say thank you a lot!

Very good pho, I was going to the one down the street next to luckys, but one night they were not open on tuesday when I was craving pho. I found this my new neighborhood pho home over that pne because I feel the quality of the brisket is better and more tender. My favorite spot so far in the East Bay! Its a casual, no-frills place with a simple menu focused around Pho and vermicelli dishes. Might be too plain for others but I love it. They even have garlic and chillies dipped in vinegar -- which I have not seen ANYWHERE in the States. PSA: try putting that vinegar sauce + garlic and chillies in your pho next time instead of Sriracha. Anyway, lovely spot and Ill be coming back!

This spot was previously called Pho King or something or other, which had good food but looked pretty run down. This place has done a lot of remodel work and has upgraded the look and feel inside and out.I got the grilled chicken rice plate, and like the prior restaurant, came with a small bowl of chicken pho broth, which scored points for me immediately. The menu is simple and has the standard options of pho, bun, salads and rice/meat combos plates. Everything was really fresh and quality. The rice plate was light, but a decent sized lunch. It came with marinated grilled chicken, a cup of white rice, and pickled cabbage and carrots.The staff, who i assume were the owners, were really sweet and friendly. The place was short staffed the day and still got my food out in 10 munutes.All around quality spot that I will definitely be back to.

Better than Tasty Pho. Minor changes and workers. Instead of limited menu its now revised with more coverage than just pho. Before it was run by a rather young group around early 30s now its run by three older relatives in their 60s showing serious experience from their days. Sat outdoor in warm weather to enjoy pho is something else I tell you. They gave me a large bowl and charge me half price because when youre in the know people know too. #1 combo pho is delicious and tasty broth a little msg not enough to make me headache yet. It smell good and was really fresh that basil and mint leaves didnt show browning. Salted plum drink with lemon soda is the new vietnamese version of sprite. I suggest anyone with pho craving to try this place before another name change. Joy oy!

They took 30 minutes to make some food I was there for 30 minutes other delivery people were coming in there and they were giving them their food they took 30 minutes to make mines no I had a terrible experience and they kept giving me the runaround saying 10 in 5 minutes

Food delivery is slow, but the food is ok. The grilled chicken and pork chop are good, and the soup powder is first-class. Deserves 4 stars. In essence, it should have five stars. Deduct 1 galaxy to produce food slowly.
