2023-10-01 02:33:13This place always deliver good quality pho at an affordable price. $10-12 for a bowl of pho in the bay is almost unheard of nowadays. Most places I went to were around $16-20 and their quality is not better than this place. Their broth was flavorful and doesnt just taste like salt and the meat looked fresh. At this price range, you cant really complain about their food and services. It might not look the most modern or cleanest but its still organized and presentable. The food came quick and service was good. Highly recommended

2023-12-03 13:02:38Pho is good, and value is good. Awkward smell when I first sat down, and it turned me off. The smell seemed to come from the dirty floors, or the table itself. I was concerned, but stuck it through because I know they serve a good bowl of Pho.After 5 minutes of acclimating to the smell, it didnt bother me any longer. Maybe it was the specific table I was at only, but the smell was unpleasant & didnt provide me with the most positive ambience. The Pho was really good. The staff who brought me the Pho & helped give me more limes were awesome. The order takers can be really blunt & cold, but thats the nature of this business. Youre not there for the service or the ambience. Youre there to get a good bowl of soup 🍲, and get on with your day.

2023-12-01 02:24:03My wife and I have been patronizing this restaurant for at least 4 years!! We always got a great bowl of soup and walked out full!! This last time we went I noticed the portion was cut back for a large bowl of soup at $14.40! What blew me away and still cant conceive this, is that they actually cut their tendon beef balls in half!!!! What kind of a manager would instruct this to their cooks??? Hardly any flank steak and other meat parts. To sum it up, Im not ever going back!! Unbelievable!! Plenty of noodles joints around to choose from. Just to save some extra pennies this place lost two dedicated customers. Need to practice their customer service instead of pocketing some extra change. Leave it to your discretion, the broth and vermicelli is still tasty!! Raise your prices, but dont cut the portion for more money and leave a dissatisfied customer!

2023-08-14 03:58:03Ordered pho to go last minute because the restaurant smelled bad like an old wet mop used in the bathroom. Ive eaten there, and it never had that strong smell before.I got home and opened the noodle container and had the exact same smell. Im kinda glad I ordered it to go, I wouldnt have realized the smell of the noodle if it were already in the soup.I liked their food, but Ill stay away for a while.

2022-11-11 22:54:18P dank pho place, I’ve been going to Kevin’s noodle houses since I was a child and the consistency of the flavors have been great. Food comes out fast from the kitchen and pricing is great. Chicken wings are a better deal than it seems on the menu, they definitely give more.

2023-07-18 07:25:37Solid Vietnamese lunch & dinner spot. Pho here wont change your life but it will make a rainy day less depressing. If Youre feeling extra gluttonous then get an order of chicken wings or spring rolls to snack on while you wait the extra 1-2 minutes for your pho/rice plate to be served. The service is speedy so youll get these fast. If Pho isnt for you thats no problem. Get a rice plate or vermicelli bowl which are also good and it would be best to order the ice coffee first since they use a drip press & itll take awhile before its ready to drink. Serves boba drinks too but cant say Ive tried them. Multiple locations so you get a very good consistent option here and around the SF/Oak area.

2023-06-14 07:08:31Came in at 4:30pm on a Tuesday. Plenty of seats, you’ll be seated pretty quickly. Had my order taken and the food came in no more than 5 minutes. I guess slow service isn’t in the restaurants vocabulary.Ordered a Number 1 and A2, cold Spring rolls and the combination Pho without beef balls. Noodles are chewy, soup is delicious. Very consistent throughout the different locations (Westlake, Irving). If it’s not the weekend, you can probably expect to be seated and have food in front of you within 7-8 minutes of walking in.

2021-06-01 00:13:48This was exactly what I wanted after flying home on a red-eye flight. Sat down, ordered, and got my food all in about 5 minutes. They have a huge selection of phos and other dishes and smoothies. I got one of the beef noodle soups. Excellent value for the price. My small bowl was $8.25 and was enough for me to feel reasonably full but not stuffed. My boyfriend got a medium for $11.The interior isnt fancy—basically what youd expect from a regular Asian takeout restaurant. Social distancing was enforced, staff wore masks. Great place if you want a cheap, simple, homey meal.

2023-01-24 18:04:316/7/2022 STILL A PLACE FOR METhis is my June 2022 update of this great Vietnamese restaurant on top of the hill. Yesterday I had a nice rice plate for lunch with pork chop, pig skin and egg, salad, diluted fish sauce and a bowl of broth. Quite a satisfying meal less than $12. The service was lightening fast—less than 5 minutes. What makes me spend the time to write this review is the grilled pork chop. No way I can replicate the taste of the charred pork fat at home. It smells so appetizing. It tastes so smooth in my mouth. I will put in an extra 15 minutes running on the treadmill at the gym tomorrow but today no one can talk me out of this good lunch. My THANKS go to the friendly and hard working staff at this Phở restaurant.Monday 3/15/2021HAPPINESS IN COVID TIMEOn this sunny but cold day, with icy piercing winds blowing across the whole Bay Area, here I am, finally enjoying my Phở inside Kevin’s Noodle House at the top of the hill. The rice noodle is soft, the hot beef broth tasty and light, the slices of rare beef and chunks of tendon perfectly cooked. Add a squeeze of Siracha hot sauce and hoisin sauce. Finish with a few drops of fresh lime and I allow myself to forget Covid for a brief moment. The seating is very well distanced. The service is fast and friendly as usual. I think I will return to this noodle house more often than before so I can put back my stimuli $$$ into our local businesses.BEST $10 LUNCH IN DALY CITYDo you want fast services? Very decent Vietnamese food? With best prices? Then ignore the one star review and come try for yourself. The rice plate with well marinated pork chop, some salad, a small bowl of broth, topped with an over easy egg and hot tea...all this for ten bucks—let’s not require smiling faces and nice greetings.Surely their Phở cannot compare to the bests I had in Saigon before 1975, but friends, this place does give me a few moments being close to that time of yesteryear. It’s a very nice place for working people on their lunch break or retirees on their outings or students on their skinny budget. A cheap meal with some Vietnamese music gently playing in the background, it’s quite relaxing for me. With a hot bowl of Phở for under 8 bucks, this place deserves a four stars from me especially when it’s cold and windy up on the hill.Good luck to you for trying to find a smiling face at Starbuck Coffee. The staff at this restaurant is efficient and NOT rude at all. It’s a place I will continue to return on a regular basis for my Vietnamese time.
