They were so fast! We came here for dinner and waited maybe 25minutes, once seated we were given a few minutes to look over the menu and very shortly after ordering our food was delivered to the table. Both the beef and chicken broths were flavorful and we had plenty of side veggies to add in.

Pho tasted delicious! Havent had it in a while and this hit the right spot. Soup was steaming and the exact taste I was looking for. Meat was also surprisingly good quality. Service was great and food came out so quickly. Interior was what you would expect at a normal pho house. They also had real sriracha!

This is a straightforward, no fuss, type of phở place. You sit down, order, and food arrives right after. Delicious and hits the spot. Only downside is the fresh spring rolls were a little small.

This place is absolutely delicious!! The food is clean, flavorful and so comforting. I’ve had it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Perfect meal for when you’re feeling under the weather or when it’s cold out. I’ve tried several items but my favorite soup is #17. Everyone is very kind and friendly they all give excellent service. Cherry on top the portions are very big and filling. This is a very popular place but, despite that, the wait is never long since they serve so quickly. My family and I love this place, you definitely must try!!

Needed a warm filling snack on the way home from the dentist with a sore mouth. This was perfect chicken and pork broth with noodles. Put in broken-up veges minus the peppers. Tasted good and felt good to my sore mouth. Fast service PLUS my waiter helped me in the backdoor as I was walking with my canes. Helped me to a chair to order, brought the bag to me. HELPED me back to the car, holding the bag, very nice for me. Kind of him!

Ordered online, they claimed they didnt have my order. I showed them the charge on my card and order. what I was told is youre wrong you didnt order or pay. Honestly treated me like some thief trying to get over on them for free food and offered no remedy for issue. They wouldnt give me my food or a refund so now I have to talk to my credit card. Not sure if they were just unwilling to help me because Im young and they assumed I was lying Great place until its not.Update: called them to try to fix this, they told me to come back and show my charge on credit card and they will make food. Keep in mind I had already did that at the store and was refused service. The manager then refused to speak to me. Honestly I felt discriminated against. Im so sad, but I cant bring myself to comeback after this.

Really delicious pho! It’s one of the better ones in the area and there is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Parking was also a bit easier than other places around so it was convenient. The service was good, the food was really good and reasonable overall.

Authentic and worth a try (or several). Service fast and efficient. Seatting a bit crammed inside, choose patio if you want a bit more space.Pho very good, broth on the clear side not as rich as some other places but flavor is there. Tip, get the small Pho the medium is really like a large and most will struggle to finish.Spring rolls recommend.

Great Vietnamese spot I found close to my new place. I ordered the combination #2The broth was clear. No signs of oil was so ever. The soup wasn’t overloaded with noodles perfect portion for the amount of meat in the soup. Also ordered the fresh spring rolls. They were fresh haha. Tasted great. My son had the kids Pho #19 (sorry not pictured) we came in at 6 on a Friday, place still had tables but no wait. By the time we finished the waiting area was full of families and dates waiting to be seated. Food came right out and service was completely at your service. I must have counted at least 12 or 14 wait staff. For a place that size. They had more than enough staff to service each table. When the weather starts to get cold, I know I’m coming back.

This place is always busy! But best time to beat crowds is before 615pm-630pm. The parking lot is small & tight, first come first serve parking . Paid parking meters on street are available off busy street. There is an outdoor dining area available.

Truly the worst pho I have EVER had. The broth was off and between the 3 of us tasted like cinnamon. The meat was flavorless and/or overdone. The noodles were a bit underdone and all stuck together. Our spring rolls were unable to be eaten with hands because the wrapper was so sticky and the shrimp tasted dirty and old. We asked for a side of steamed veggies as there wasn’t really veggie options and they forgot those. The siracha was mixed with hoisin so our soy intolerance person had no sauce. We had to trash the food with family visiting from out of town and get chic fil a instead the eve of thanksgiving because it was literally inedible. A complete waste of $50. Was really excited due to the reviews but man were they off, awful experience and will not return.

Dad and Dog anxiously waiting for Pho after a long journey.Is there better pho in the Bay? Yes, but hard to find better pho with this kind of service and attention to detail.Try the A6 shrimp/fish cake app. That is definitely the best in the Bay!

This is my second time coming here. First time was with my mom and second time with my husband. My pho is always great here. I always order the Number 1 with steam bean sprouts on the side. My husband ordered number 41 and he wasn’t that impressed by it so 4 stars. When you come later around 2 it’s not as busy. They do have their own parking lot so parking is easy around this time. Prices are reasonable here. The server is nice here.

I love the energy of this restaurant it is often full of happy customers. When I take BART, often on my way back from my destination. I treat myself right and enter this lovely restaurant. It feels good to eat among so many people whose spirits have been lifted by the love and dedication of the staff. The Atmosphere is top notch, the area around Kevins is perfect for an after meal walk, and I have never been disappointed in the many years of my patronage. Come here for fresh and affordable food in Walnut Creek!

This Kevins Noodle House is the best! I have been eating my way through their menu. Depending on my mood, I have tried their rice plates, pho, noodle soups, and bun. When you order their rice plates, you will first get this delicious rich chicken broth with thinly slices of green onions, onions and cilantro. I highly recommend #47, 41, and 46. Their grilled or BBQ beef or pork and 5 spiced chicken is to die for. The grilled marks on the meats is a beautiful thing.The wait staff is friendly and very attentive.I have eaten here with a friend and at times with 6 people. Service and speed of our meals being served was the same - fast and great.Kevin also serves delicious Che and fresh fruit shakes besides Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Coffee. Overall, you will not be hungry after finishing your meal. Great size portions. Prices are really reasonable for the quality of food, service and the dining environment. They even have an outdoor dining area with umbrellas if you want to sit outside to eat. Sometimes, there is a wait for lunch and this place is busy during both the week (lots of office buildings in the area) and weekend (lots of families patronize).Only negative is that Kevins parking lot is tiny! Dont go up the hill and park at other businesses because they clearly mark with signs that they will tow your car. So, what you have left is metered street parking on N Main which can be dicey at times because its really busy. There isnt a lot of parking close by this restaurant.

My fav pho place in the area. Fast Friendly and clean. I normally get the chicken with shrimp vermicelli and a pineapple smoothie with coconut milk. If you havent tried one of the fruit smoothies made with coconut milk this takes it to a whole nother level it makes it much more creamy decadent very enjoyable and definitely Cut Above everyone else that serve smoothies. Even at lunch time they are pretty quick they usually have you out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Its also got a great location with outdoor seating which is nice on those warm days when you just dont want to be outside and enjoy some sunlight they have them breathless so it is nice and Shady so you dont have to worry about the sun beating on you.

This is a good place to walk right across the street if you are staying at the Marriott residence inn right across the street. Its a good place with good food. If youre at the longer tables though, with 2 or 3 people, you can get seated with strangers at the same table.

Our company used to work next door to Kevins and now that weve moved to a different area, the thing I miss most about working on Main Street is walking over for amazing pho on cold (and even really hot) afternoons.Their soup is (in my opinion) the best, most flavorful pho around this area. I usually go for the seafood with chicken broth, and lots of garnish on top. With a Thai iced tea on the side.Large portions and great prices. No wonder it is ALWAYS packed at lunch.I miss you, Kevins Noodle House!6/18/12 - 3 starI work nearby so Ive been in a few times since they opened. The last time was 6/15/2012 and while it was nice because it was a late lunch and it wasnt crowded, it was the first time we ordered off of the main menu (non-soup). My fiance wasnt excited for soup in 100 degree weather so he ordered #41 - a combo meal with fried chicken wings, a pork chop, salad and rice. ($7.50)Even the salad wasnt very good. It came with a bowl of chicken broth on the side that was okay but the pork chop was almsot inedible. Very fatty - the flavor was terrific. The fried chicken should have been prepared the same way. It was the opposite. Nice pieces of meat with absolutely no flavor. Incredibly disappointing. He didnt eat more than a bite or two. The only thing I took home from his plate was the rice. And I hate wasting food.I had a small bowl of seafood soup with egg noddles. ($5.25) The noodles were terrific but the soup was only okay this time. It had an off taste. I reheated it the next day and even though it could be unrelated, I was up sick all night long. It was the only thing I ate Saturday that my fiance didnt eat. I didnt call the health department since I had taken it home... but honestly itll be a little while before I go back.We had a soda ($1.25 for a can) and a Thai iced tea ($3) for a meal total of $18.40.Note: I did not know that Thai iced tea was made with Half & Half. No wonder they are sooooo good.12/16/11 - 5 starsI have been watching construction of this restaurant and the VW dealership next door to it for the last year. They finally both opened last weekend and I braved the line for Pho (which was fast-moving, but still long at 1:00). Well-worth the wait! Every table was full (of course, it is still their grand opening period)... but I have a feeling it will remain busy as long as its there. Pho is a noodle soup often with either a beef or chicken broth base, choice of meat and choice of noodle.I customized mine some and ordered a clear noodle with shrimp in a chicken broth. It was served very hot with jalapeno, lime, and cilantro on the side to add to increase aroma and taste. I requested basil as also, which I believe is typically served with beef broth, rather than cilantro. I like both.I ordered the Large which would probably feed 3 people :) I always order the large when ordering Pho because I enjoy it leftover. I thought this broth had a little more flavor than the Pho place on Newell (the only other one in WC I am familiar with). Their table hot sauce and hot oil were delicious, though probably meant for an appetizer rather than the soup. The spring rolls on the table next to me looked awesome. (*next time*)My large soup and a thai iced tea with pearls came to $11. Very reasonable! Ill definitely go back.On a side note:I finished the broth and had some noodles left that I didnt want to waste so I bought a packet of Pho powder and made my own broth at home and added the noddles and my own veggies. ($3 packet at the Asian market on N. Main Street and made 10 cups of Pho broth). I may try making this at home again soon because I enjoyed all the extra veggies.

Great pho but poor service.The first time I came here, no one greeted me at the door. No surprise because it was somewhat empty. I wasn’t sure if I should just seat myself or order at the counter. I asked a waiter and I was directed to the counter. I ordered, then I sat down. Minutes later my order arrived to go, steaming hot and packed in plastic which I try to avoid. When I told them that I was planning to dine in, they got a bowl and dumped out the contents in front of me.Today I thought I’d give I’m the place a second chance. It was packed. A waiter greeted me and I told him I was by myself. He asked me to wait. So I read my magazine. After at least four groups of people were seated before me, I stood up and saw that there was a sign in list. I had no idea! I wish the waiter had pointed it out to me.I signed in, was third on the list, and after a bit of waiting, I then was finally seated!I’ve been to countless pho places in the bay. No idea why this one hasn’t been easy to navigate.

My favorite local spot in Walnut Creek. This is perfect when you want delicious, affordable, comfort food. It is always well staffed so the service is quick and attentive. The food always comes out fast and is always excellent. Even when I’ve gone close to closing, the staff have always been kind and efficient. If I could give this place six stars I would. Try any pho or grab one of the pork rice dishes on the back. I’ve also enjoyed many of the appetizers. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad dish from this place!

The restaurant in Oakland was closed so I now visit the Walnut Creek location. Its a bit of a drive but the food used to be worth it. I always get the number 29, which is the seafood pho. Extremely quick service and great tasty food (recommend getting some Boba to go with it). Lots of options and theres always somehow seating for four or more people even though crowds can get high around here. Though pho is obviously the main focus of the place, I find that their rice plates, especially the grilled beef one, are very underrated and very much worth the try. This is especially if you are deathly allergic to nuts like I am which already limits many of the options on the menu. Take it from me, the rice plates are your safest bets without having to ask to hold the nuts for other dishes. The great part about all of it is that in the end the pricing is not too bad at all and very much affordable on a college student type budget.The parking here is terrible though and its pretty much non-existent. Its at the back of the place and either staff park here or a handful of customers -- who somehow happen to be some of the worst parkers Ive seen. May as well park a few blocks down and then walk to the restaurant.

I am absolutely in love with their avocado smoothie with extra boba (also loved mango and pineapple, but those three are SO good we never got around to trying other flavors). All of their soups are super good, but my personal favorite is #23. The staff has always been extremely friendly even though Ive never dined in, Ive always bought it to-go. The location means it gets a lot of people who come in for lunch during the week from nearby office buildings. There is a parking lot in the back but it fills up pretty fast. Otherwise you have to find street or metered parking nearby.There was quite a line when we got there but the turn around was relatively quick. We were seated within 10 minutes.Service is super fast and the food was as expected for the price. I always like extra basil with my Pho and they were happy to accommodate.The line didnt let up the entire time while we were there. So expect a wait unless you come at off hours. Great service and fast. They have a separate entrance for phone orders and online. Everything is separated and they are making sure to sanitize the pens people use which was awesome to see. They have a cup for used and clean pens so I thought that was a great idea for places having customers sign a receipt. Didnt get any food this time, just a few boba drinks and they were amazing! I tried their pineapple with coconut milk, mango and strawberry. Super tasty!

I had the seared pork chop/egg/vermicelli dish and it was great! The chop was very tender with a sweetness to it that I really enjoyed. Be aware that you might come across small bone fragments in the meat, but if you cant deal with that get the pho. Parking is really tough and theres zero street parking around which made the start of my Saturday night out frustrating. Considering how much occupancy there is youd think there would be more than 12 spaces. Another thing that peaked my interest was how quickly the waitress brought the check. I do like fresh vegetables in my pho, which they dont have, but Im probably a minority with that non traditional desire. My family and I arrived at 8:30 this evening with my infant, and my pregnant sister in-law and we were seated outside and we had our order taken. Not one person had eaten yet and they said we had to pay right there and then, and we did with a generous tip. We usually get takeout here a coupe if times a month. It is our go to spot when we want some hot noodle comfort. Medium number 28 seafood soup with thick rice noodle is our usual. The kids love the number 34 grilled pork chop with steamed rice. It can get a little busy in here and feel kind of small if youre waiting a couple of minutes for your order to come out.Our quick tip with the soup:Soup is understandably hard to package for takeout. It comes in two separate containers, the broth in one, the noodles and meat in another. The best result for a great soup experience is mixing the two in a pot on the stove over medium heat once youre home and ready to eat. It takes a few extra minutes but you get a bowl thats comparable to being served at the restaurant.

This casual restaurant is a great quick and easy Pho restaurant. From the vermicelli to the noodle bowls. The beef with rice place is a very delicious and simple plate. The simple prices are totally worth the cheap prices. A restaurant jewel in such a big town.

Had the opportunity to sample their Pho Tai as I was in the area for a meeting.It isnt bad but isnt great either, their rice noodles is bundled up together where you have to separate yourself and is prepared separately from their broth giving you feeling that this staple dish has a disconnect. My rice noodles immersed in the broth had a different temperature (slightly cooler) than the broth itself.If you have a desire for Pho and cannot find somewhere else closer in the vicinity, this restaurant will have to do it then.

First of all this place is the BOMB the pho is amazing waiters where nice the food came out in like 4 minutes which was VERY surprising the broth was good but the meat and the noddles where the star of the show they are like they said on the menu and if your a new customer I would recommend 100% to go here

Food is great and prices are reasonable for the area. Can’t go wrong with the pho, vermicelli, or rice dishes. Quick tip for To-Go orders, get the pho noodles un-cooked and boil for 3-4 mins when you get home. It tastes much better and you don’t have to worry about clumpy noodles.
