First time trying this spot and I wasnt disappointed. My sandwich was delicious. The service was excellent. They made me feel very welcome. Cant wait to try the rest of there menu.

Small portion size. I first ordered a small pho and the contents was not enough so I ordered a large and the contents were exactly the same portion. I told the server and she argued with me and told me she can not take my bowl back to add more contents and that it is actually more compared to the small. Would not be coming back here and they are over priced.

Came to Manteca for Pho and did not leave disappointed. Spring rolls are excellent and the shakes are delicious. Next time, Im going to order a rice plate. Everything looked really good. Service was super prompt and the staff is great!

Beef pho, good, as expected. The kids pho was a huge bowl of noodles with a tiny bit of broth that my 7 year old son wasnt very happy about, he expected more broth. We requested more and they gave it to us but they werent thrilled about the request, and my husband ordered a pad tai and unfortunately, couldnt even eat it. Didnt like it at all (hes a chef and knows his pad tais pretty well). So, yes come here but maybe dont order the pad tai :)

After driving home 15 min away they gave one wrong dish. I called and all Lowann could say is the kitchen staff doesn’t believe you. I should of checked before leaving but for a response like that… RUDE!!! I will never go back. Good thing the new place Rice & Rolled in Manteca has much better service.

Definitely wont be coming back. Their chili oil smells spoiled, there were flies, utensils were dusty, dividing walls are filthy, and the portions for a Large was skimpy for $15. Also their smoothie is over priced. $1.25 for added boba is a turn off. And the biggest overkill for me was the cashier tried to short changed me $10.

We should of known when we seen the menu for Seafood Pho that it has Imitated Crab meat that this was not going to be a Great Vietnamese Restraunt. 🤔👎👎👎👎😝 Who uses Imitated Crab meat? There was No Basil leaf for the Pho either and that is just not good w/o Basil. 😠😡👎👎👎👎 My husband did like his Beaf Pho but just not happy that they didnt have Basil leaf for his Pho. 😝😠😡👎👎👎👎 Oh well well keep looking. They just dont take pride in there Pho and its Taste for there customers. 👎👎👎👎🤔

I have been a customer for this place for over a year All the employees were super friendly and always had a great service, but today. I Walked in and found a new lady working in there she was rude and had an attitude towards customers. I asked for another slice of lemon for my soup and she said that an additional dollar will be charged for the lemon. THAT IS TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. I LOVE THEIR FOOD BUT AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I DONT THINK I WILL EVER GO BACK.

Ordered no 19 bun bo hue it came with less water than last time when me and my wife were there I asked the old lady if I could please have abit more water for my soup she gave me a dirty look and said I have to charge you..yes or no real stern I said nvm, such a rude person to speak to a customer. One of the best restrauresnuts I been too. The waitress Jenny Kim was the best waitress ever. I took my first date here and Jenny Kim wingmanned me all night. The only bad thing was they served no curry pizzas. Anywyas she broke up with me an hour later. She was saying silly stuff like “Get out of my house” and “Please put that knife down I have a family”. Crazy one she was. Will definitely return to this establishment again!

Really like 3.5 stars. Really hasnt been the same since the ownership change. Seems like new employees all the time. Some dishes got better while other are not as good as they used to be. The sandwiches are not as good as they were and that was a solid choice for me on the run. Im glad that we have these choices in Manteca.

Ever since new owners took over almost a year now. The quality of food had gone down. My husband asked if their Lemongrass chicken askedis it chicken breast? And she quickly said YES! Yikes dark tough brown meat. My husband did not eat it. I ordered fresh egg rolls with shrimp and sliced pork. It came with lettuce lots of rice noodles and a slice of pork..Yuck! And they try to tell me its how the fresh rolls come?.Ah..a BIG NO..The rolls stuff come with carrots daikon herbs green onions and meat. PLUS big leaves of lettuce and more veggies and herbs Another way to cut cost.FROM a previous waiters complaint the new owner TAKES a cut of their TIP end of the day tip jar At 25%!!!! UNHEARD OF IN THE INDUSTRY! They had 2 waiters and 15 tables to attend tonights busy Wednesday night.I used to loved eating with the old owners. Tasty food and no short cuts on real Vietnamese cuisine. And they also raised their prices. I dont mind paying more for GOOD Vietnamese food..but our experienced tonight.Just reinforced NOT WORTH spending our money on this place. But the owner taking 25% from the tip jar? Over worked underpaid waiters and a 25% cut from their tip jar..the owner is definitely a lowlife!

1) For the first time in my life, I saw a cook bark at his staff in front of ALL the guests, that if they want to eat they have to make it themselves! At that moment, I saw the entire (hungry) staff of four get sad looks in their eyes. Quite cruel and shameful.2) We ordered Egg Rolls. Cook pressed staff to give us egg rolls that were 10 minutes old that another customer never showed up for.3) We paid $4.95 for fresh egg rolls. We didn’t notice until we got home that the cook did not make them.The service staff was wonderful, informative and helpful. The food was good, but if the cook is so cheap that he wouldn’t make us fresh egg-rolls like we paid for, I imagine he serves food past its expiration date as well.Would I spend my hard-earned dollars here again? No! Will I be back to get my $4.95 they ripped me off for? Absolutely. To I trust the cook to respect patrons enough to serve non-expired food to save a buck? Hell no!I’ll never forget how sad the entire service staff appeared all-at-once when the cook told them if they want to eat they have to make it themselves. This place abuses kids trying to make a paycheck. Sad!

The food was tasty. However, the service was deficient: I ordered a meal to go, lemon grass chicken. Rice was missing. I called the restaurant after driving home. I was told that I could pick it up. This was not convenient as I live 10 minutes away. This was not a good service recovery. My wife also had an order messed up. She ordered vegetable spring rolls and got shrimp, which I let go. I could recommend the food, as it was tasty. The service needs some fine tuning.

Been coming here for Pho since relocating a year ago. Pretty solid, good eats. Tonight I ordered my usual but after browsing some photos here, decided to add a side of garlic noodles with shrimp.Wow!! The flavor of the shrimp with those noodles were fantastic! Im glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try something new. Will be ordering again!

This was my first time coming and the last.. I tried the dried egg noodles with the veggie and tofu stir fry which was good, with that I ordered a thai tea which was also good. However, when I finished my food and drink I noticed there was a dead fly at the bottom of the cup. I came back to the place to let them know.. maybe get a refund or compromise something... but no I was left with a sour stomach and with terrible customer service. I would have took a picture but I was just disgusted and in shock in the moment.

0 stars. I placed a to go order Sat 6/30/19. I ordered chicken breast with vegees and thicker garlic noodles. It was $14.00. I got home and there was a blob of fake crab(yuk) on a few slices of pork on top of vermicelli noodles. Thats it! I thought..well mistakes get made. I ate the food even tho I wasnt familiar with the pork seasoning. I ender up getting sick a bit later. I was sick Sunday too. I went in Monday to ask for a refund and they had to call the manager. The manager refused to refund the $$. The reason was I waited 12 hrs too long. I was still sick Sunday and I figured a manager would not be there. I was going to be in the area Monday. I didnt even have the pleasure of getting sick on what I actually ordered. They lost a regular customer and an occasional one. Dont go! The waitresses were very nice and apologetic. I would have gave them another chance if they had done the right thing.

A lot of issues with this place. It’s a lottery if you’ll get good pho or not. Have eaten here quite a bit and have seen the worst of the worst here! If you’re going to secretly raise your prices, your quality should reflect that as well. Noodles and broth taste like tap water. Service is below subpar and cleanliness is not a priority. Bathroom hasn’t had soap for 2 months, I wonder which employees haven’t been washing there hands...

I hate when you want something to eat and they cook with MSG. If you feel the need to put MSG in your food then you cant cook. They said that they HAD to put it in for flavor. They wouldnt even offer to leave it out. You should be able to accommodate something so simple. Also staff was not welcoming or friendly.

If you have a service animal they will ask you to take it out and will not follow the ADA access law. I went in with my service dog and was asked to remove her. I let them know she is a service dog and need her with me and the waitress let me know she knew the law but the owner will refuse service and wants the dog out.I was in shock that an owner would disregard the law like this. Its discriminating.

Seems it took a while after the new ownership however the pho bowls seem better than when they just took over but still not the same as the original owners... Also had the claypot which was rather good but chicken was a bit dry. If they had used dark meat in the bowl probably wouldnt have dried out so much.

Came in yesterday as it was highly recommended by a coworker. I am glad I came in on my day off to try this place out. Both the food and the smoothies w Boba that we ordered were less than average. The phos broth was OK. Wanted to customize it according to my palate but the condiments where lacking. Also ordered a rice place and it never came. I didnt bother to remind because I was already disappointed with the Pho and clearly the food wasnt being made since i can see the entire staff (cook/owners, wait staff) in the registry chatting it up. The smoothie is bland and the Boba is either undercooked or frozen at one point. The middle of the Boba is super hard to chew.... Definitely UNPHOGETTABLE since I wont be back. Good luck to the other patrons since I know there is limited Vietnamese restaurants in Manteca.

I had the pho with grilled ribeye and it was delicious and my husband got garlic noodles w/ grilled chicken and it was delicious. But the 3-star rating comes from having to ask for our drinks three times to get my husbands soda and four times to get my Boba Thai tea. And the first dish my husband was served had a long black hair in it which we told the waitress and she was apologetic remove the plate quickly and then my husband got a brand new plate of food minus the hair. Everybody was pleasant but the service was a little slow. We will definitely go back...and they have Bahn mi sandwiches which I cant wait to try.

Very rude towards me and my party of 4 . Order our drinks gave me the wrong drink . I told them it was the wrong drink, and then she got mad at me . My friend didn’t like her pho ask to get it canceled after she had one taste . They tried to tell her she had to pay for it or order something else. So, my boyfriend and I were heading home from a trip up north and just randomly ended up in Manteca. We were hungry and this restaurant just happened to be in that particular area.We were seated fairly quickly and received menus to look at. My boyfriend left to use the restroom and the waitress (bigger, Caucasian female) asked what I wanted to eat right away. I didnt even get a chance to look through the menu yet. So, I politely told her that I needed a few more minutes and that there was another person with me as well. Well, right as my boyfriend gets to the table, she literally says, Are you ready or what? Like, excuse me? There was no reason for her to be so rude. They werent even busy...I ordered the pho #2 and my boyfriend got the oxtail pho. The broth was okay, Ive definitely had better and the noodles were way soggy but they arent skimpy on the meat.Wasnt too crazy about the pho but if Im ever in the area, Id probably try this place out again because their vermicelli looks so good! Lol. Besides the rude waitress, everything else was okay.

But other than that, this place felt very inauthentic and had an abyssmal menu selection at disappointing prices.If you want a quick Vietnamese bite, dont want to fight crowds, and restaurant cleanliness is very important to you, this is your place.But honestly, if you want a real bowl of pho, with ability to choose exactly what kind of meat, broth, dumplings, spiciness that fits that days fancy, along with a side plate of bean sprouts, cilantro, and lemon wedges, for 10-20% less than what this place charges, I would pass on this place and go somewhere else.

Unforgetable is right on the money! hubby and I came on a Sunday at 2pm, pretty busy we but, were seated right away. we started with the shrimp spring rolls, they were served right away, light on the shrimp but tasty. I had the need pho with rare steak and meatballs. it was perfect! piping got with a flavorful broth, generous serving. hubby got the shrimp pho. it was excellent plenty of shrimp. both bowls were served very quickly. this place blew the other pho shop here in manteca out of the water. the prices were great too. found ourselves a new pho shop!

Best pho in the region, hands down. Their specialty beef stew pho is phenomenal. If your in Manteca or Tracy I would drive here to satisfy my pho craving. Also as a pro tip you can upgrade the beef stew pho (believe it is a #9) to a larger size, just ask. Also for optimal style I always go with the full set of accompanying veggies into the pho, break up the leafy items, squeeze the limes and add all the bean sprouts for maximum deliciousness.
