It was our first time coming here..We had no problems with our order; we ordered #16 pho. The broth was delicious and the portion was good.*The place needs better hygiene practices bc the table was smelly and it has a faint restroom odor😷

Ive been coming here for about 2 years now. The food is great, prices are reasonable. Service could be better but they will get to you if you wave them down. Our usual is the #11 or #16 pho, chicken sandwich for the wifey and the egg rolls are a must. Highly recommend!!

The Pho definitely hitting the mark high! The broth is clean but with the complex flavors. Portion size is great with good ration of broth, noodles, and the meat. The fresh condiments of basil, bean sprouts, lemon, and jalapenos are very generous. The Mango Salad with shrimp is fully loaded with mango and veggies and also generous amount of shrimp.The service is good, they leave you alone after you get your order but its easy the flag someone down if you need something else.

I’ve been ordering take out for a few yrs with no problems, today my sick kid wanted pho for his sore throat, so as a single parent, I bundled him up and we went to pick up pho. It’s 4.2 mi from us and we arrived home only to find we were given brisket (?). It took me 11 calls to have them answer and told me to drive back to pick up. I was not driving an extra 8.4 mi for a mistake THEY made. I told them I wanted a refund as we wouldn’t eat the meat and they told me I had to return the soup. I ordered a pho but when i was eating it- there was a dead fly on my bowl. It was soo awful and unsantitary. I returned the order and ordered another fried rice w seafood to go- i opened a box after i got home- it doesnt look delicious and tasted nothing - no flavor. Looks like it scraped from all leftover and put it in my box! Sadly i wont return this place.

I came here on a whim, it was a chilly night and i needed some pho so I decided to stop by here. I am impressed! The spring roles and peanut sauce was amazing!! The fried calamari was also amazing!! Some of the best calamari I’ve had in a while. The Thai tea was a little on the bitter side, but I don’t like mine too sweet so it was fine for me. Just usually I’ve had sweeter. The actual pho was really really really good! And of-course the portions size was healthy! I suggest their brisket for sure! I came at 6:45pm on a Tuesday and it was packed. Service wasn’t the best I think they forgot about me for a while. So I had to dock a star. But the food was delicious and the price was right!! I will come back and try some of their other dishes just based on how good my sides were!

I forgot to take photos- the good and service is so good here. It’s reasonable with big healthy portions and plenty of fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and pickled carrot/daikon. I always have a great meal when I eat here! Love the bun, the pho, the fried crispy egg rolls, the fresh spring egg rolls!

Made an online order, walk in to pick it up and 2 of the workers surround me, then another guy that was sitting down eating gets up and starts asking what my name is on the order. I told them 3 times and they just stare at me like I’m stupid. They ask what I ordered so I told them and then again, asked me my name. Then they asked to look at the receipt, so I show them and they grab it right away. The receipt stapled to the bag had my name clearly written in large letters. I don’t understand why they bother writing it on there if they’re just going to ask to see the receipt anyways.Food is pretty good, but I won’t be going back, the place is overrun and small anyways.

Came here on a whim and was genuinely impressed. We got the spring rolls, Pho and Filet Skillet. The filet was cooked and seasoned very well and the pho was very tasty. The best part was that everything tasted very fresh. Only thing was the music was blasting, which made an interesting experience but it didnt take anything away from the food!

Great food with a great staff. We went on a really busy night, there were no tables for us but the boss moved a single guy sitting at s large table and gave us a table. The food was so good. Try something new, you wont regret it.

Food was above average, but employees are tip bullying. I ordered TAKE OUT, $45 order. I sign the receipt and the employee hands me back the receipt, and I ask Did I sign in the wrong place? and employee doesnt say anything, just stares at me, and points to the tip line. First off, I am doing take out. I am a generous tipper whenever I dine in if service was worth it, but this order was for take out. Secondly, I feel it is disrespectful that the employee handed me back the receipt, without a word and just points to the tip. Pay your employees better.(Edit: after reading previous reviews, it looks like im not the only one who experienced this tip bullying from the employees)

The food is good, about as good as any Pho place. Only issue is tip bullying. I pay for what I order, tipping is extra IF I want to. Management, please pay your employees BETTER, so they dont have to pressure customers for tips. Everyone should be paid for doing good work, but that shouldnt be forced on customers, its VERY off putting. I would have been a repeat customer, hope the tip was worth it.

This was our first time here and it will be our last time coming here!! I ordered Chicken Vermicelli and my wife ordered the number 11, Pho house special, and we also ordered egg rolls. When my wife was finishing her Pho she noticed a fly that floated up to the top of her soup!! She was so upset and disgusted and of course I was too!! That is really gross!! I have been here multiple times with my friend we love the food its good not the greatest not the worst . WHAT I do mind is the customer service is horrible ! You wait long periods of time for 1 water refill and they will walk right past you and not ask you about a refill or if you want anything . As much as I love to tip they do not deserve it . The food is average presented and average tasting .

I just had lunch here and all the people that work here are super nice! Very clean place and soothing music to relax. I had yellow rice and shrimp spring rolls and they were the bomb! So Damn good😁😁 please check this place out when you can. Parking lot is a little small because of the other businesses that share...but its plenty street parking in close proximity if you cant find a stall in the lot.

Pho is everywhere ... Good pho not so much. To be honest we came here with 0 expectations but we were happily satisfied with our meal! Even for a small the portions I felt were huge. We got egg noodles instead of the traditional vermicelli and added some extra meatballs, which were also really good, to our meals. Prices were very reasonable. Overall, definitely worth checking it out if you are looking for pho and you are in Long Beach.

I like this place, I have been coming for a few years, its close to home. Some of the items are hit or miss; crispy egg rolls are good, but the chicken wings arent. The Chicken and Beef Broths are both tasty, but on occasions Ive had bland broth. The Pan Fried Egg Noodle Combo crispy, its delicious!I wanted to try the Pad Thai Combo, but instead got fajitas. Excessive onions and red bell peppers, my noodles were burnt, peanut sauce was weak, it was missing the chicken and beef and the shrimps were super fishy. Oh and Ive had hairs multiple times in my food. Id still like to give them another chance, but Im about to call it quits.

The service sucked. The decor was old. There was a dead fly in my pad thai. Chicken was that chewy weird not even sure what it is meat. No crushed peanuts garnish or any garnish other the piece of lettuce barely shown in pic. Dont waste your time.

Its so hard for me to write this review 😪 . My family and I enjoy the FOOD. The food his good, but one the server there, which I was so upset 😡 and didnt even catch his, was so rude . This was the second time so I had to say something. The first time I thought something must be bothering him so my family just let it go. But this time he was way out of line. I pick up a soup for my mother because she is sick, because we usually dine . He got upset because I did sign the receipt in the place, he also mentioned the tip . I told him I am not tipping him .I tip an other server but you, your mean .he said I was being rude cause of that and told me not to come back. I said WHAT !!!! . I TOLD HIM HE IS AN AWFUL MISERABLE YOUNG MAN. MY FAMILY AND LOVE THE FOOD AND ALL THE OTHER SERVES AND IF WE DECIDE TO COME BACK I MAKE SURE HE NOT THERE. I FEEL BAD FOR THE OWNER THAT IS ALWAYS VERY NICE BUT THIS YOUNG SERVE HAS BE SHOWN THE REAL DEFINITION OF RESPECT BECAUSE HE DOSE NOT KNOW IT. Its a shame I dont want to keep anyone from coming to the restaurant because I am honest when I say the food is good but that young server ruined for me and my family.

DISGUSTING FLY!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! We walked in they sit us down to our surprised there was a huge fly sitting on the sauce bottles and then flying to the next table sauce bottles! I had to go to the register and let then know there was a huge fly sitting on the sauces. I should of just walked out when this happen but I stayed and the pho is not tasty is watered down and the chicken was like rubber. Extremely disappointed not going back there. They should really do an inspection because this fly was not a regular fly it was huge disgusting!!

Placed an order of vegetable spring rolls with 2 orders of the number 63 with chicken. Ive been coming here since they first opened and they have always been consistently good. This time the spring rolls lacked any vegetables except lettuce and a few thin slices of carrot, it left much to be desired. The vermicelli was passable but the chicken didnt taste fresh and was lukewarm and salty. All prices have gone up by over 30%, thats ok if the quality remains high. This was a truly dismal performance from a normally great restaurant.

This used to be my favorite pho place, Ive been coming here for years. Ive never had an issue with the service and tend to tip. However, I did not have enough tip money today and one of the workers demanded a tip in front of everyone in the restaurant. He was incredibly persistent and rude. He pointed to the receipt and kept telling me to tip. I thought he was joking but he kept passing by and demanded that I leave money. He was so caught up in checking that I did, that he dropped a tray of spoons next to my table. As I was leaving he demanded a tip, and did not want me to leave until I left one. I read in previous reviews, that he has gone as far as not letting people leave or he tried to keep their card.

This was the Worst chicken vermicelli Ive ever had. A chicken might have been under a heat lamp for several hours. There were 2 small chicken bones, and the sweet sauce was so watered down that it had very little flavor. Every time I go to a pho restaurant, I always order the same thing. I was at the register ready to order, but the waiter took the menu from me and took it to a table and then open it up to a different page and recommended a soup or rice dish.

We were wandering around the streets looking for a place.to eat. My dining partner spotted this placed tucked away off pacific Coast highway. We were delighted. The service was very friendly and quick. I had the stir-fried tofu with crisp noodles which was a unique dish that I have not ever experienced. It had a wonderful.flavor garlicky and somewhat sweet. My dining partner had shredded pork with vermicelli noodles and he was pleased with his choice. It had multiple flavors that tantalize the tongue. The jasmine tea and green tea were nice additions to our lunch.

Food was great but the customer service was horrible. We have left over and he said oh its dry no need box he gave us plastic bag instead like the one in produce at the groceries store. He was so rude. Then he chased my aunt cuz he said we didnt tip so we said look at the receipt e charge the tip included in the card. That was really rude. Never been treat like that before. If that was cash i will take it back seriously. Parking is terrible. Sorry but i have to be honest to other consumer will alert. 👎

This is one of those hole in the wall places. The area is not so welcoming nor is the smell outside. However, the food was really good, good enough to make you forget the rest, while you eat anyway. The price was very good and even though we ordered the small pho dishes, they looked and were filled like large sized orders. Very pleased.

The food here is great, and when I came here with my father to eat, we were both satisfied with what we ordered. The only thing that prevented this restaurant from getting more stars was that one of the employees (the chef I believe) was right outside the door smoking a cigarette. The door was kept open and the breeze blew the smoke in which ruined the tail end of our meal. Im unsure if the employee was unaware that there were still patrons eating inside or he was just oblivious to the offensive cigarette smell, but it would be common sense to smoke at least 25 feet feet away from the front door, not immediately next to it.

Good food, but the parking is horrible. People pull into the lot without noticing that theres no pace, then they block everyone in and refuse to reverse out. I was patiently waiting on Willow with my turn signal on waiting to go in, when someone cut in front of me and caused a mess that took over 5 minutes to sort out. I was early cut in front of again by someone else not paying any attention, but luckily i saw her and caught her attention... Everything made worse by a car parked in the driveway off Magnolia - was there for the entire 20 minutes I was there.They need to make this parking lot one way. It would solve everyone a ton of hassle.

This place was the worst experience. Came Nov 27 and saw a sign that said “we appreciate tips during the coronavirus pandemic”. We entered and weren’t greeted or given a menu even though there was a man sitting on a chair doing nothing. We had to initiate conversation. We weren’t seated. Tables were dirty. We asked the man in the chair to clean a table and he told us “sit over there” and we responded “it’s dirty”. Then, the man didn’t ask if we needed more time or were ready to order. We waited for 15 minutes for a server until my bf got up to ask to be served. The cherry on top was being repeatedly badgered to tip by the server who kept pointing at the receipt and saying “holidaaaaay”… even after being told that we didn’t tip because we were not seated, tables were dirty, and had to get up to order. I don’t understand how someone thinks it’s ok to force someone to tip GRATUITY. My boi, it’s not even a holiday. That was two days ago… GET IT TOGETHER. We tip generously and we aren’t coming back here.

The food is 3 star at best. Customer service was ok until my one year old daughter starts dropping food on the floor. The waiter came over and ask if we can control our daughter since he will have to clean up! I explained to him that we will clean up after ourselves but he kept coming back and staring at us making us super uncomfortable. The price was cheap though. You can have better Pho in Cambodia town. The owners/workers are rude and treat you even worse if they dont like that you didnt tip or tip to their liking. You wait a minimum of 30 minutes for your plate and lucky you dont get charged extra for waiting. The pho is tasteless and I wouldnt recommend this place. Drive the extra bit and get some much better Pho and food.

My favorite Phở in Long Beach. Were in here quite a bit. Great price and great quality. Im 62 and 215 pds. I get a small bowl and Im filled up. $7.50. $10.00 with a tip out the door. Hell I cant even get a small bowl elsewhere for under that. One of the best mom and pop shops around. Great and friendly service. Youll see me around. Love the music too. My wife thinks you play the Zelda theme occasionally. I know I hear some techno variation of Beethoven. Rock on. :) The little desserts you are bringing around are growing on me too. I may eventually order one.

I am a frequent customer here and today was disappointing. I will say the food is good, but the service is horrible! I asked for sauce 3 times and they told me to just use the one next me, which was at a table people were sitting at. I am not going to disturb another table every time I wanted sauce. When I was leaving I tried to explain to the owner or manager why I wasn’t giving a tip and he cut me off and wouldn’t hear me out. I would think he would care but I guess not.

Unfortunately I had the worst experience at this restaurant 1/12/2022 definitely need to train staff on CUSTOMER SERVICE !When I first walked up to the counter the person who would be assisting me was sweeping the floor I’m patient don’t really mind waiting he noticed me walk in never acknowledged me, I never knew this would be the person assisting me until I asked another associate in the store around 6-8 mins later and he was beyond RUDE while taking my order another customer walks in he slides my card then throws it to side until the receipt prints I was like odd but ok then He throws my card to the opposite side of the counter never asks me to move to the side so he can assist the other customer then throws the receipt on the counter with a pen never said anything I was in shock then when I came back to grab my food instead of saying mam your food is ready anything he just starts pointing at a bag of food I was like sir you have the worst customer service ever and walked out I definitely won’t be going back !

The worst pho I had in long beach. Service is abominable. I ask for an extra spoon/fork and small plate and they keep forgetting. And when they came back the 3rd time, they said they cant give us extra. I ordered chicken chow mean and said specifically I am allergic to shrimp. Instead of giving me chicken, they gave me shrimp. I wish I could leave zero stars. My husband and I would go to that place all the time. The food is good but the service is horrible, every 30 seconds they keep bothering you if your ready to order and if not they go to the cash register and just stare at you. Ate there today and when my husband didnt leave a tip because of the service the waiter goes to us and says that we forgot to leave a tip and what the hell. As we were walking out the employees were saying very rude things and booing us out of the resturant. Never going back there I dont have to leave a tip if the service isnt great. Been coming here for years. Have ordered several different plates and they are exceptional good. I have 2 small girls and they eat everything off thier plate. Also the workers are very welcoming of my youngest who has some issue. Meaning she can get loud or up to walk around. I believe that some of you who review folks either are set up by their competitors or really do not know how to write an honest review. You have to break it down to several factors, eg: cleanliness, price, service and most importantly presentation and taste of the food. If you order 1 dish and its not all that, another dish might be the bomb! so dont give 1 star overall unless its a total DIVE!! I give 3 starts because I have been going there for years and I have sampled other PHO places. I have ordered a variety of dishes from the menu some better than others. The place feels clean most of the times, service is met with a smile and well priced. But I do get way too much meat in my soup. Its over-powering! I do however question their hygiene because on occasions when I order, some staff member who is also at lunch will leave his table and go into the kitchen to get my food. Did he wash his hands? I am finicky about stuff like that since I cannot see the kitchen. But they can pass as I still go there.

Pho America is nicer-looking inside, and I like their free little tapioca puddingish stuff better, but as far as the pho goes, and the service, theyre both about the same. Phở Long Beach was steady and good. Hard to believe there are only two authentic phở 🍜 places that stay open past 6:30 PM in Long Beach! Bizarre. Head south eastward towards little Saigon for more late 🌙 night spots.The three of us came in at 8:30 PM on a Wednesday night, no wait to be seated. Place was about 1/2 full with people trickling in until close at 9:30 PM. Front lot was small and full, theres another parking lot through the back alley.Service was quick and attentive, staff were nice. No complaints. Typical to many smaller Asian joints, need something, then ask! This is not PF Changs.The phở flavors were solid. Not too heavy nor light. Phở shouldnt be overly heavy as you add your own side flavors as well with lime and soy sauce. Want it hot🔥then add hot sauce! Beef stock generally is a bit heavier than chicken or veggie, it uses beef bones to make. Phở is rarely ever made spicy, thats just weird. We used all the basil and bean sprouts, I love plenty of them. Add cilantro too. Shrimp spring rolls were excellent, ordered more to go, comes with peanut sauce which is made right. Always amazes me how peanut sauces can be gross or too runny, not here. Difference between large and small bowls is slight, small is plenty for me. Pay at the counter when youre done. Cash or credit is good. Definitely will be back to try some more phởnominal flavors. 👍😁

The pho is just the right flavor, not too beefy and you can taste the spices but not too overwhelming. I also like their bun with grilled meats and egg rolls.
