I been here twice now. First time was okay but the second time the Pho was really good. Pho Namdo is the best from Woodland/Davis excluding Sacramento which I usually drive to for my Pho. I knocked down stars from the service due to there being no complimentary water which is just baffling. Forcing customers to buy water is inexcusable for a Pho restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, the space is small but thats not really anyones fault. The Workers are very polite courteous and overall just very friendly. I just want water 🤷🏽♂️
FINALLY!! We have been waiting so long for a pho restaurant to come to Woodland, and we were not disappointed! The broth is so delicious here and their meatballs are fantastic. The cashier that rang us up was so friendly, so welcoming, and she totally hyped up our excitement with her own about being able to eat Pho in town. 😂 Will definitely be back ASAP!
I was excited to hear of a pho place in town but was weary as not everyone can make it good. I tried going 3 times but wait time was always over an hour. Finally got to go and was so excited to have a new favorite pho place near me! It was so good! My kids wanted to go back the following day already! Good portions, good customer service, clean. Highly recommend.
We ordered the dumplings, BBQ pork bun, and Pho #7. I loved the broth, very flavorful. Dumplings and the sauce were 👍. Didnt love the BBQ pork bun, either their steamer was too high or they left the bun inside too long, but one of them were mushy. Otherwise would have 5 stars.
Friendly staff great food, some of the best chicken broth I’ve ever had. Front door is on Pioneer Ave. side by the stop light at corner of Pioneer and Branigan Ave.
The portions are good and really well priced. The broth and the beef are really good. My only concern is the pho noodles sometimes a little overcooked making the noodles stick to each other in a couple of occasions when dining in. I kind of like my noodles Al Dente texture, but thats my preference. Other than that everything was good and I will repeat. Saves me the trouble of traveling to Sacramento or Davis now. The owners are from San Jose. The Pho Capitol of the Bay Area so you know its good authentic Vietnamese food.
New Vietnam food shop in Woodland, which opened one month. Price is reasonable. Food preparation time and clean-up are a little bit long. Sodas are sold in a can or bottle. Background music is enjoyable.It seems no vegetarian option and no beef free option as the soup base is also made from beef.

Dang. This place is good. Not sure Woodland folks will understand how good this place is. I’ve had pho thousands of times at hundreds of places. This is fantastic. Highly recommend the chicken pho. Broth is crazy good.
I went here today with my mother for the for the first time to have pho, and it was really good. It took awhile for the food to come out (one pho ga, pho tai, and dumplings), but it was definitely worth the wait.

2024-06-30 00:19:09First time here, broth was very flavorful and worker was helpful knowing what meat was in the combination. The spring rolls were fresh and the potstickers were still cooling from just being fried. The entrance is a little hidden facing the stoplight rather than the parking so just keep walking to find it. Would definitely come back!

2024-05-31 07:49:10The pho place was literally a hole in the wall. The entrance may be hard to find at first; look for the door with the Open/Closed sign and a small paper that says Pho Namdo. Once inside, you need to order at the counter before sitting down.The interior is quite small, but the owner was very welcoming and friendly.We ordered #1 Pho Dac Biet (the combo) and #5 Pho Tai Nam Gau (steak, flank, fatty flank).The food came out quickly. I recommend coming early before they close, as they had to turn some customers away due to running out of broth.I love to add the hot sauce from the clear container on the table to the pho, not the Sriracha one.Id come back for a good bowl of pho!

Best Pho Ive had in a while, the broth was very flavorful, the meat was tender, and the portions were generous! I also appreciated that the bean sprouts and basil, etc, were all very fresh unlike other Pho spots Ive hit up in Davis. This is a gem for Woodland! Well definitely be coming back!

2024-04-22 16:42:17Our family loves pho, and we are ecstatic that Pho Namdo opened! The food was delicious, we ordered a mix of beef and vegetarian bowls, some sides, all highly recommended. Enjoy the simple menu with plenty of options for all... selfishly wish they had egg rolls. We visited on the second day of opening, on a Friday night and it got quite busy, with a steady flow of locals supporting! My kids loved it and asked to replace pizza night with a visit to Pho Namdo instead :)

The broth was fresh, savory, and perfect; the temperature stayed perfect until the last drop. The meat options were tasty and the portions are generous! Service is super friendly and the interior is very clean and charming. Ill be back again and again!
