Food is pretty good. Sometimes a little heavy on the soy sauce. But the service when I pick up my food is bad. As soon as they know it’s a door dash pickup they have an attitude. I called to ask if they had a drink before I order through door dash. And they answered with “hello, hello (I ask about the drink) we don’t have it” and rudely hung up. This is not the first time. I ordered from Lakeside pho and grill instead.

I had the vermicelli pork dish with egg rolls, both were super delicious! My daughters had the chicken teriyaki plate. We ate the whole thing.

Based only on my first meal here, it was great. I got the large house special pho bowl. Yummy. The place is impeccably clean, with about 9 tables and a 3 seat bar. Not alcohol bar, silly. Im definitely coming back here with my wife. Im excited to try more of the menu.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received a dm from someone named Duy at Pho Olala. It said to stop by, mention Instagram and receive a free tea. My daughter came down with a bug today so we decided to eat some pho. When we walked in the place is very clean. The atmosphere is very relaxed with instrumental music playing in the background. I ordered garlic edamame with the house special pho. The garlic edamame was the perfect combination, not too garlicky. The soup was unbelievable. The flavors of all the ingredients really went well together. By far one of the best pho soups I have ever had. My daughter, the picky one, chose plain pho. They even brought her soup as plain as she wanted it. This is a small issue we have everywhere we go. We will definitely be back. This is a must try if you are ever in Casa de Oro.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. My family and I love the food as well as the kind family that always provides us with excellent, fast service. The Dancing beef melts in your mouth and is incredibly tender, Flavorful and sooooo Delicious! The flavor of the Beef Pho broth is the best weve ever had and you can tell its made with high quality ingredients. Always a pleasure and worth the drive. We try to go once a week at least. I highly recommend Pho Olala! :)

We had been wanting to try this restaurant out for some time. We had the chicken and pork sandwiches with Thai tea. The bread was perfectly crunchy, and the meats and fillings were very good. The owners very very gracious and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place.

Bad experience with soup and chicken rice. Salad moldy and wilted. Basil was also moldy and black. I think they give the bad stuff to the deliveries and bet that people wont say anything on reviews. I had to heat my soup. And the chicken was cold. Flimsy Styrofoam containers. Watered down soup....no good. Peanut sauce nasty too. Had to throw it all out.

Broth for pho was subpar compared to other pho restaurants nearby the area and the inside of their egg rolls were mushy; nutrients were provided by simple consumption at the very least. I recommend verifying the order and the amounts ordered before paying to avoid being charged for something you didnt want (learn from my mistake). Although they verified the order to me, it was hard to understand them due to the accent and I didnt want to appear rude by asking them to enunciate better.

I will not be coming back here anymore thanks to one bad apple.First of all, the food is delicious and most of the employees here are really nice. However, one of the waiters is quite rude and acts like he does not enjoy working there at all. Before the pandemic, my family and I would eat here and this waiter always seemed to have an attitude. He kind of made us feel uncomfortable, but it wasnt enough to stop us from going back.I phoned in an order a few weeks ago and I am sure that it was the same waiter with the attitude who picked up the phone. He came off as rude from the exact moment he answered the phone. He had me guessing around the entire menu, because they did not have some meals available. Its fine not to have meals, but he could have at least told me what they do or dont have. Then, he ends the call without even asking for my name. Later, the waiter calls me back to tell me that the food is ready. Before I can clarify that my dad would be picking up the food, he hangs up on me mid-sentence. Shortly after, my dad calls me because they told him that no orders were ever placed. I told him that they just called me telling me that the food was ready. Thats when the waiter changed his tune and gave my dad the order.This waiter is extremely unprofessional and does not belong in the service industry. His behavior has become worse over time and there is no need to come off negatively towards the customers who come to his familys business. Such a shame, because I really did like their food. But it is time to move on. Ive had enough of his behavior.

First and last time we will be coming in here. Customer service was horrible, the guy taking our order had a very unpleasant attitude and did not appear to be happy working there. While ordering our meal he kept saying “ANYTHING ELSE !?!” in a very rude tone with no empathy. No water was offered. While we were eating, the same guy kept staring for no reason and that was very uncomfortable. The same melanconic sad music was on loop for the whole duration of the meal. I don’t know if it was the saltiness of the meal or the sad music that made me feel lethargic afterwards. The food was ok. If you want to feel good energy and enjoy a meal with great service, please save your money and check out the other Vietnamese restaurants in town.

I have only ordered to go here. I have been here twice now an both times the Filet Mignon Beef Broth Pho were delicious. Also tried the crab rangoon and egg rolls, both were very good. Although I didnt care for dipping sauce for the egg rolls. I also have seen the child that every one is complaining about both times I was there. She was quiet both times I was there. However I have to agree you dont bring your child to work, especially in a restaurant environment where people come to relax, eat, and often to get away from kids for the evening. If they notice there business is declining, I would say it is because of the child bothering the customers. Because the food here is reallly good.

Honestly good food, good prices, kind servers. Literally all Im looking for. I definitely think this will become a regular place for us. It is small, but I noticed most of there business seemed to be to go orders. I ordered a large rare bowl for myself and while at first there was a five spice taste I wasnt too fond of it really grew on me. Those peppers are spicy and I took my own self out eating a whole one I for sure felt the burn. Got my son the chicken soup and he loved it. Even the small bowl was enough for him to have two meals. Grabbed a grilled beef banh mi to go and I will likely grab those all the time!

Vietnamese food is delicious and it is often cited as one of the healthiest cuisines in the world.I have eaten a lot of Pho and this is by far the best in SD. Today I got summer rolls and Tofu. It is amazing! Just talking about it makes me want to go there again! They are getting very popular recently.

Come for the pho, stay for the show!! The food is excellent. We had a beef brisket pho and garlic dancing wings and they were made super fresh. The pho broth was the perfect blend of spices and the meat was tender. The service was really sweet and friendly too.The BEST part is the little 6 year old girl who stays there while her family works. She will serenade you at your table if you request it! She has a selection of songs memorized. She’s really the star of the show. She needs her own YouTube channel, stat. She’s going places.This will definitely be our new regular place!

Greeted with a smile, ordered 2 bah mi sandwiches one pork one beef. And combination rice... I ate the pork sandwich omg so much flavor.. Crunchy bread 👍👍 fresh veggies. Very good. Perhaps I just got the off-day service from Pho Olala as the fellow at the register who took my order was not pleasant at the get go. I understand with Covid timeframe that everyone is stressed, but as I placed my order, there was nothing but the sense of being rushwd as I was the only customer in the restaurant. Yes, I was not as familiar with their menu as I dont frequent much at Pho Olala, however Pho Olala was highly recommended by friends of ours.The experience was poor as my family will go back our Pho Ca Dao in Santee.

Very fresh veggies, broth was good,interesting flavors and spices. First time eating Vietnamese food. I’m more of a steak and potato’s guy and not into vegetables. So right now I would rate Vietnamese food a 2, but that’s me. If you’re into vegetables this maybe a place you should try.

We paid $36 + $5 tip for 4 large meals include three large pho soup bowls and a larger order of chow mein. Expect to pay around $7.50 for a small, and $9.00 for large. The menu includes enough variety to keep you coming back. The decor is modern and clean. Service is friendly. Food is delicious and presented well. There is only one bathroom (shared), and the restaurant itself is small, but late-evening seating was a breeze. The country music playing overhead seemed out of place, but the delicious pho made up for that. The staff members use iPads to take your order and take your credit card, which adds to a relatively low-communication experience.
