If youre looking for delicious sushi and pho in Whittier, Pho & Roll is the place to go! The Crunch Roll is a must try but their other sushi rolls are just as tasty. If youre in the mood for something warm and comforting, the beef pho is a great choice. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The food was tasty (presentation 3 out of 5) 🍣The drinks were good 🍺👌🏽This place was clean 👍🏽The service was slow. 👎🏽Well think I want to point out is that our first server seemed a bit rude and overworked. My water wasn’t refilled until I had asked towards the end. (probably should’ve been more vocal about it) they seemed a bit understaffed. Our bill was over $100 so at that price point I would expect better service.They would get one more star (possibly two) if their service and food presentation improved.I would give this place one more try.

If you absolutely need a PHO fix but arent too particular then PHO & ROLL is your spot.I tend to be critical about the broth because that is the main character of any PHO. The broth here is bland and the meat to noodle portion is limited and leaves you feeling short changed.On the other hand, the sushi selection is varied and extensive. Sushi at PHO & ROLL is a winner and good. Portions are good and presentation is on point.Service is prompt and friendly so the experience makes up where some things fall short.Overall PHO & ROLL is a good place for your fix if you are not too picky 😎

Pros: Food was great and was served to me fast.Cons: Could have used more attentive servers and maybe not have the owner (?) watch me like a hawk while Im having said food.Edit: Turns out the original owners are gone, that explains why the experience and recent new reviews are much more negative. Thats a shame.

If you are a local Whittier native or just someone stumbling across this review, I highly HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.Given these trying times, my wife and I have been waiting for the right time to get back out and dine in public. We stopped by Pho & Roll this week and they have a lovely Al Fresco dining experience. Fenced in, and Asian inspired, this new adaptation to safe and sanitary dining is a breath of fresh air.Literally.It was a lovely first date in a while with my beautiful wife.Thanks Pho & Roll!

Ordered online. Went to pick up my order 15 min after stated time. Food not ready upon arrival. Waiting another 25min total of 40min after they said my food would be ready. Also they dont provide plastic containers for Wasabi and soy sauce so I had to find another way to dip my sushi. Food is good, but they have horrible service!

How have I not reviewed this place sooner. I swear this my second home. My husband and I eat here at least once a week. The service is EXCEPTIONAL! They go above and beyond whats expected. The food is DELICIOUS. We normally just order salmon sashimi, but Id recommend their pork egg rolls, any combination of pho, dynamite, to be honest anything you order will be tasty. They also have specials on beers Monday thru Friday, an added bonus to the already great atmosphere.

I have been coming here for years, since 2014 approximately. Anyways it was always a pleasurable experience until now. We were seated and never did our server come up to us once . So this may be a little bias seeing as I use to work there years ago. Saying that I still go back for my pho!! The broth here is so good, just on its own!! I’ve been to other places and no one’s broth has that extra flavor to it! I love coming back! They have a little bit of everything! Sushi, bento boxes, pho, fried rice, and much more they even added a kid menu now! I always recommended this place to family and friends! And I’ll make the drive from West Covina just to get my pho fix!

Extremely poor customer service from a female server/manager. Every time Ive eaten here and get the female server, it is an awful experience. Everyone else is cool and the food is good but today was the last straw. Dont know if she was having a bad day or what but I will definitely not be returning. Watch out, if she thinks youre not tipping well, shell definitely retaliate. Apparently she doesnt comprehend the amount of the gratuity depends on the quality of service provided. Someone should explain this to her.

Lets all agree that sometimes you want the best of all worlds and it is disappointing when you cant get it. Pho & Roll is that - Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisine all rolled into one. I recommend coming for lunch if you work/live locally and ordering their lunch special pho & 4/8-piece crunch roll. That is my go-to and it hasnt disappointed yet. If you are feeling up for appetizers we always get their chili edamame and it is another one of those, who knew edamame with Korean chili (unverified) and Vietnamese hoisin sauce should be a thing? But it is, and you should try it.

I went in for a pho and roll lunch special. It being my first time there I did not know what to expect. I asked for a menu and I found the picture of the pho. I ordered a rare steak pho and a shrimp pho. I was charged 27 dollars. and was asked to wait 15 minutes. When I came in to pick up my order I noticed the way it was packaged it did not seem like there was a soup inside. I opened up the bag and noticed that it was a salad with noodles and shrimp with peanuts. Add the other box had salad noodles and beef. I went back in to let the waitress know that my order was wrong. She said ‘that is what you ordered. I told her I ordered the picture on the menu. I got a menu and I opened it and pointed to where I had pointed earlier when I ordered. She said that I did not point to that. She went on and on about me ordering from a different part of the menu. I told her I did not. I ordered from the picture of a bowl of soup. She was frazzled and didn’t know what to do she walked back-and-forth talking to other employees. Then she told me what she could do is give me the soup in a container and just to add the salad looking stuff into the hot soup. ( I don’t know how she thought that I was going to put lettuce and carrots into the hot soup.) I said the steak has to be rare to be put in the soup not cooked like it is in the salad. She went on to walk back-and-forth and asked me to sit down. Then she explain to me how she was Fixing the problem and told me that next time to order it another way. I tapped her on the shoulder and said goodbye’ and I took my order and left. When I got home I rated the pho. My daughter enjoyed the rare steak pho. I on the other hand have had better. Whittier pho and Rowland pho are much better. Sorry guys I tried and didn’t have a good experience.

I go here fairly often, and there are always seats available. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is excellent for the price. I especially recommend the thai tea, which is the best Ive had! I also love the dressing they use on their appetizer salad, but reactions have been mixed when I go with friends.Do note that most of the people working there have a few different accents, so be sure to listen carefully and speak clearly, and there should be no trouble.

This is the go to spot for my girlfriend and I. We have been to many sushi places in the Whittier area and this is definitely in The top three. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. The servers could be a little unorganized at times but that never really bothered me here because they always quick to catch on to any tables that are being neglected. The price is very reasonable and the portions are filling. A must try.

Bad service! And it takes a lot for me to say bad service. Ordered spicy garlic edamame, and they brought the wrong one with no garlic. When they fixed it, it was just a hot mess with alot of the red pepper oil. Then the egg rolls where cold in the middle when we first got them, and when they brought the fixed egg rolls, they where mushy. Then they didnt bring my red wine, but still attempted to charge it in the bill. Wow, that type of bad service sure sends a bad message.

Their food is fresh and delicious, but a little pricey. However, if you want to keep the price down you can order a large soup and share it between two people along with a roll (I recommend the dragon roll). As two people who can chow down, this order let both my boyfriend and me eat more than our fill. This place will definitely become a regular dining spot for us.

I wasnt impressed to say the least. I always see a line, so I was hoping it was delicious. When my fiance and I first got there we waited a bit and then the girl came up to us and asked us if we signed in yet. I told her no And she gave me the full clipboard and full list of names and told me to sign in... I asked her for a new sheet and she said no, just put your name here and time and walked away. Many people who had already touched the marker and nothing was cleaned between people signing in. We got the sea food pho, veggie pho, egg rolls and combo fried rice. The veggie pho was absolutely tasteless. Even with the eel sauce and hot sauce it had no taste at all. The seafood pho was decent, but again the broth had no flavor whatsoever. In the fried rice the chicken was over cooked and still lacked any type of flavor. It was a let down, but now I know. =) Off to try other places.

I been here twice due to enjoying and loving my food the 1st time therefor my return but my 2nd visit was not as appetizing I order the lunch special pho and a roll (California Roll) I frequently eat rolls and know how they are suppose to taste. This roll was sour rice seem under cooked (hard) rice taste like it was rotten. I got so disgusted I told our waitress the deal and shes like you know rice is sometimes sour. She told another person working with her in her language and he approached me and laughed what you mean sour no no nothing wrong.(I felt like they got defensive towards me and made me want to at feel wrong) My boyfriend was been nice and his like its okay we will still pay. A few minutes later another customer I guess complained. I could see them looking at me talking and saying rice. I am facing the sushi bar and can see the sushi chef tasting the rice and making a face.. Had another employee taste it and I see them walk away with the pot of rice to the back of the kitchen. They never came to apologize. At the time of paying our check all the waitress said I didnt charge you the roll.

Great place to have some Phó & Roll in Whittiers uptown area. Although it tends to get very busy the staff is very friendly and efficient. The dishes start out with a small fresh salad that is quite refreshing and is followed by your plates ordered. I, we left happy and very satisfied our Pho and Rolls.

Their food is good think a lot of the times what matters is the server or the waitress you get sometimes the younger waitress are a bit fast and I dont want to say rude but I guess they do come across as rude and a sense that they want to take you order a really really fast and if they have too many tables to attend and the tools they need to let the manager know theyre under staff so a lot of the times you know you want to go all relax you going to pay for food you going to pay for service so you should be able to get that back

Had tried the pho, egg rolls and sushi rolls there a couple of times but was not impressed. Well I decided to venture out my regular menu. Boy am I glad I did. Galbi beef vermicelli was delicious but the star of this restaurant is the chefs special marinated fried chicken. Wow. Im salivating just thinking about it now. Super flavorful and delicious. This is a good spot if youre looking for sushi in the Uptown Whittier area, they have friendly Waiters the price is decent and their Sushi is very fresh which I enjoyed very much and they also have had pho soup, Im a huge fan of this type of soup and this place is okay its not the best and I have had better, even though its not my favorite I still get it from time to time but its a really good place so I recommended it.
