I was a little concerned when I pulled into the parking lot. The name to the restaurant had changed. But as I walk through the doors I realized that they definitely upgrade theyre ambience..At the time I was fasting so I was hoping that they could accommodate me with vegetable broth with vegetables type of pho .Which they did and it was absolutely delicious. I had made a mistake when I ordered my food not realizing that it came with rice noodle. Being on my fast I wasnt able to eat that so I had to pull it out of my bowl but when I asked for another bowl to do so the waiter kindly said let me get you some more vegetables to substitute that. That was much appreciated I didnt even have to ask. I will be going back to this place without a doubt. Five star

First time eating here on a slow Monday evening around 7:30 PM. The older gentlemen who served us water was so sweet. He even brought out my 2-year olds water in a cup with lid. He complimented her as well. The lady who took our order was extremely sweet as well and very patient. We got our food within 10 minutes or less. The rice plate was superb! My kids loved it and wanted more. Eggroll was delicious and flavorful. The combo chow fun has got to be the best chow fun Ive ever had! Extremely hot, fresh and flavorful with a nice char/wok flavor. Bun rieu was absolutely delicious and had so much meat, tofu and blood cake in it. Pho was delicious. Broth was on point and meat, tendon, tripe and meatballs in the pho were also delicious as well and perfectly cooked. We also had their 3 color dessert, which was great and jackfruit shake. The only thing is the water cups didnt look the cleanest, but we could look pass that as everything else was beyond superb and prices were great considering the large portions. (Oh and the location is sketchy as there is a liquor store next to it, but thats something that is out of their control) Definitely our new to-go Vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento and definitely recommended! Cant wait to go back and try the other food on their menu!

Decent pho. Ordered pho tendon/rare steak medium to-go.I think the broth was a little too saltyPortions were good, I would have liked just a little more pho noodles on the take out so maybe I should have ordered the largeMeat was good. My rare steak came really rare in a separate plastic baggie. The tendon was in square chunks.I heated up the soup on stove top, then poured on top of my noodles and meat which seemed to work really well.Also wanted a few more Thai basil stems but thats okay. Gave a lemon instead of lime.Good friendly service, they seemed a little short staffed (probably due to covid) so I had to wait a couple minutes at the counter to pick up. No big deal.I am rating this a 3.5/5 because broth was a little too salty and not enough pho noodles but it still hit the spot. I will change my rating if I go back and eat in person. I might have different portions then, who knows.

My family and I ordered pho, bo luc lac, and chow fun and everything was good. The bo luc lac and chow fun had that good charbroil flavor that makes the dish. Best bo luc lac flavor in town. The meat was soft and cooked perfectly. Also good service.

Im a pho lover, so I have tried out lots of places but I got to said that this is one of the best pho places that I have tried in Sacramento. Definitely recommend it especially if you want to get good pho early on a cold morning because they do open early than other places.

Got bo luc lac and hu tieu with extra wontons. It was okay. The shaking beef was decent and cooked well. The hu tieu was very mediocre and the wonton are kinda weird. Sitting at the table, a cockroach crawled against our wall so idk if I would come back though. The service was very nice and seems family owned though.

Its always so nice going there. Their food is so bomb. I love their pho with their raw red pepper, Chilli. Im happy theyre not greedy with it. Anyway, I love their services. The only downfall about this place it. Its hot. Theres no AC, but they do have fans. It kind of helps. Overall, its a great place to dine in.

Evening time is just the worst. Skip one of my orders, yet had to re-order my appetizer, and heres the best part. 👌 I already tip $5 in their bucket. I used my card to pay without no tip, but I wasnt giving the opportunity to pick a choice when I should be offered the options of choice. So I paid for $52.83. Somehow on my card receipt invoice said I spent $62.83. The lady basically made her own TIP WITH MY MONEY. Always make sure she turns the monitor to you after you slide your card to pay.Im calling this thievery. (Self tipping themselves with peoples CARD!)

Well i like this place it has change names a couple times but i think same cook. My mother was sick and requested something light like broth so i ran in.explained what i need and got it. Food was good. Service was great. Only problem was that there was some language barriers so I ended up with the wrong food. They were so nice that I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to embarrass them. I had ask about the banh canh whether it was beef or pork. I didn’t order it but instead decided on a different dish. They ended up bringing me the banh canh and not what I ordered. Also wanted the salted calamari but ended up with regular calamari with sweet and sour sauce. The food was still very good but would be nice to actually get what I ordered. Suggestion is to maybe have someone who speaks better English. Otherwise no complaints.

Reasonably priced and very tasty. Im not a small guy and ordered the large (breaking my 16-hour fast) but didnt finish it all. The medium will likely be all I need next time I visit. My partner got the beef pho with rice noodles, I got the chicken pho with egg noddles. Both dishes were done and tasty with lots of meat.

My favorite place for some fresh Pho after a long day of coaching and training Muay Thai.I always greeted well at the door and seated right way. The lady server and owner always have a nice welcome smile and take their time to chat with you. Pho soup is so fresh and clean, I don’t need any sriracha or any sauce to fix the flavor. The people were wonderful and the food was excellent. We had two traditional dishes Wonton Soup and Pho I think its called but they were both amazing and the steak dinner was absolutely perfect we enjoyed ourselves and the atmosphere was lovely as well. Staff was very kind and polite and when we left everyone told us goodbye.

Big portion served but lacking flavors. Pho was too sweet. Bun rieu had too much of pork broth smell/flavor. This place is next to liquor store so loud music can be heard from cars park outside. If youre looking for a calm night out for dinner with families, this is not the place.

01/23/2023 - Updated Review:This restaurant has been managed by different 4 owners since the 1st day I came here. All the foods and their prices were changed up and down during this time, I decided that I didnt want to come back again.However, once Its name has been changed, it means it has had a new owner, I decided to try another shot last night.And I was extremely happy since I can find some rare Vietnamese soups and noodles here with authentic flavors such as Bun Mam, Banh Canh Cua, Bun Rieu, Bun Mang Vit, Bun Bo Hue, and more at reasonable prices and without waiting for long lines!I love it! This new owner is the best because the foods are so authentic! The staffs are extremely friendly.--------2018- Perfect service and perfect food. I come here almost every day

Nice server deserves a star, but food is horrible. Vegetables comes slimy and beat up. Meat (chicken, beef) is worse. Fish is stinky and salty. The only ok thing is the ginger fish sauce. Pho soup is on the extreme opposite of clear. Bun Bo Huế soup is also. The first time spending nearly $80 and most of it goes down the garbage disposal. I should have trusted my gut! The place is always looking deserted with one or two customers the most. Not sure how they get 4 stars.

I ordered party trays to go. Grill fish and grill pork. The fish cost $14lb and grill pork $17. Grill The fish taste terrible and not crisp. More of steam and meat too soft. Their sauce also terrible.I asked for grill pork. But they gave us beef. And we didnt get in party tray. We received in to go box. They need to improve their food. Or else, they need to shut down their business. Everybody at the party. They complain nonstop and no one finish it. They wont go to their restaurant at all.

My family and i usually order through doordash and the first couple of times we’ve ordered the coconut fruit shakes they’ve been great. unfortunately the last couple of times we’ve ordered coconut shakes, they’ve tasted like jackfruit shakes. very disappointing when drinking due to our expectations. doordash has vietnamese translations for the fruits so maybe dùa isn’t coconut in vietnamese like google says it is, if that is the case why were our first couple of coconut shake orders correct and the most recent couple of orders have been wrong? please help to correct this issue.

Pho was good but when I ask for extra tendon they gave me extra tendon in a separate bowl but that tendon was hard and not fully pressured cooked to be soft jelly like. Also waiter than not come back to refill water till the very end when having to pay. Would definitely eat here again still cause the pho was good. Better than hoa viet, Saigon on fruitridge and stockton blvd. But not saigon bay on stockton blvd near 65th, that is the best place for pho.Update 2021 april. Asking for extra meat for pho is just disappointing, they give you like 2 or 3 tiny slices. Still doesnt come back to refill water. Probably wont come back here to eat. Also saw one of the old asian guy workers spraying round up under other seats to kill bugs. Not a good idead while people are eating. Im dropping this to 3 stars. This place has potential but idk now.Update 2021 September. Decided to come back one more time. Looks like they did some rework. Wanted to take my parents to a Vietnamese restaurant for their first time and we saw this place down the road. Looked great from the outside compared to all these other little places. They were friendly to my family and attended us nicely. Food was great and they didnt nag when my father wanted to switch his order after seeing someone elses plate. I got the coun chua (excuse the spelling)everytime Ive eaten their food has been excellent. However this time I noticed catfish was scrubbed clean. The reason I dont like this is because the dark film on the backs of catfish a lot of it is caused from all the sediment floating down on to their backs. But normally I love this restaurant. This is a new spot on stockton blvd, it serves pho and a little bit of everything except bahn mi sandwiches..The first time i came here for their pork chop, broken rice, grilled chinese sausages, with salad plate. Their pork chop was good and charbroiled. @ pieces of pork chop was a good portion. The rice was definitely very yum yum..Second time i came here to try their bun rieu. The soup was very clear and has good seafood crab taste to it. also love the nice portion to the bowl of goodness. As well love the lumps of crab mixed with pork as a topping inside the bun rieu. They also give you a side of shrimp paste and spicy peppers to dip your lumps of crab and pork meatballs in it..Finally the third time i tried a small pho with a choice of chicken or beef broth which i chose chicken, with beef meatball topping, and beef tendon, and clear noodles. This bowl of pho was actually very good. The soup didnt seem to have to much msg since i was thirsty with drinking lots of water. Pho here is actually pretty good so give it a try..Overall i like coming here because there are lots of seating. The parking is easy in a big parking lot. As well the service here is not the best but hey they greet you, seat you, take your order, and you walk up and pay. This place is simple and fast for a quick bite which is what i like.
