I love Pho, Ive been to a lot of places and this one definitely stands out. Great customer service, attentive and alert. Food arrived very fast and we arrived about 10:30am so right when they opened. The restaurant was clean 👌The order was accurate and fresh, this place is a true gem amongst Pho locations around Oxnard / Port Hueneme.Ill be coming here again no doubt about it. If you want some good Pho fast, check this place out.

I loved eating here! I love this Vietnamese food. Its my favorite in Ventura County. The salad is so fresh and aromatic and the chicken is tender and sliced thinly. The food melts in your mouth.

I get the same thing every time, the meatball pho and it was delicious as always. However, I’ll probably change my order to the the wonton soup. My boyfriend ordered that and it was so good, i was extremely jealous once i tried it. so good.

I love this place!! The pho broth was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been to many pho places and this pho restaurant takes the win!! I love the staff too! They are all lovely and sweet. Even when it’s crazy packed, they are all very attentive and kind.And fyi, pho and boba go well together. Just wished the boba tea was in a bigger cup. Everything else is amazing. The best Vietnamese restaurant in 805. Their food is delicious and the portions are great. Im sad they removed some things like the egg cake and shrimp tofu cake and I wish they added more traditional Vietnamese cuisines like the egg crepe dish with shrimp (idk what its called)They are popular so it does get busy and theyre closed Sundays and Mondays. But this place is definitely my go to for Vietnamese food! Family owned and consistently delicious.

I’ve had better. It’s good. Decent quality. My server didn’t check up on us. They have an aquarium in the front with some fish in it and an ugly big forehead fish. The Thai Tea was okay. Nothing really wowed me. It was all just good.

The lady bussing tables was wearing blue latex gloves came over, took my order, and brought back my iced tea, but was still wearing the gloves. I had noticed her sticking her fingers in the glasses where other people had been drinking out of and touching the silverware and other used dishes. There was some white food debris on the rim of my glass upon further inspection ascwell.I asked a different server if they could bring me a new glass, and the problem was solved. However, this is still really gross, unsanitary, and a big no-no as far as safe food practices. I dont need to drink and eat after the entire restaurant. I know they are busy, but this needs to be fixed. When I went up to the front counter to pay the bill, the same lady with the same blue gloves was there running the register. Not only was she handling dirty food dishes but money and everything else. I stated it earlier, but this needs to be addressed.Lastly, I do come here a lot, but the attentiveness of the staff is really substandard. I find myself begging for a refill or anything else after the food is brought to the table.Its a shame because I do like coming here, but I dont think I will anymore.

The Pho here is so fresh & flavorful! The service is awesome. Most places that are really busy like this one have the worst service because they are understaffed but Pho Saigon isn’t one of those places. We ordered egg rolls & two bowls of beef Pho. The Pho was delicious but 5 minutes into our main course we hadn’t received the egg roll appetizer. Never been to a place before that serves main course before appetizer. They took it off the bill. The Pho here is delicious, give it a try!!!

Ive been here twice and both times Ive had a great experience! The son of the owner (?) was our waiter the first time during lunch and he hooked us up with tips on how to mix chili oil and the other sauces to enhance our meal. He was so cool! He even brought me some samples of all their milk teas! They were all so good! The taro milk tea is so good. I also ordered the Wonton Soup which was so good!

Location isn’t ideal but they have some yummy food. I didn’t care for their spring rolls but their seafood, pork and beef was delicious. Also their lyche water and dried nuts were good. Staff was okay nothing great but not rude. There is only take-out at this moment so you are not able to sit inside. Family owned restaurant, AUTHENTIC, very popular in the area. They serve amazing delicious food. I have been coming here since 2012 and the quality of the food has never changed. It can get loud during lunch and dinner rush hour since the place gets packed. Very good service.

Good food for the price. Had the grilled chicken plate that came with a small side of veggies topped with a small portion of Papaya salad. The chicken was marinated with just the right amount of spices and sweetness. Service was very quick as well. Will definitely come back again.

Food was really good as was the service. Egg rolls with salad, shrimp thick noodle soup, and broken rice dishes were all really good. The chefs son gave us some advice on the dishes and how theyre normally eaten as wed never been there before. All of the servers were friendly and timely. The area around the restaurant may give you second thoughts on stopping but dont let it deter you. Would definitely return.

Theres an alcove of seats far removed from diners where I waited safely.The menu is huge! You can check it out online and order by number.Choose from broken rice dishes topped with grilled meat, fried rice dishes, rice vermicelli, pho and more. Prices around $10-$15 per plate or takeout container.Try the combination grilled plate with salad, egg and shrimp paste. Forgot my wallet once(ok, probably thrice) while eating here (backstory, I was a nursing student at the time, only staying in Oxnard for school). I was so embarrassed, I offered to leave my cellphone while I went back home to get my wallet so I can come back and pay. The server/owner told me not to hassle myself and to just pay next time I come back to eat. This is just one instance of their kindness and hospitality. This spot treats you like family AND the food is amazing!! Hope they stay the same forever.

Delicious food!!! We had the fresh spring rolls with their delicious dipping sauce, and two different bun vermicelli dishes. Excellent food!!! I recommend not arriving just before closing, because they start cleaning up, putting chairs on the tables, etc. But any other time would be fantastic. Highly recommended.

Who wouldve thought that there would be authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the middle of Oxnard? To those who are hardcore vegetarian or vegan: there are vegetarian options, but true to the cuisine, fish sauce is heavily featured. This is what gives the food umami. This little gem never fails to provide a rewarding dining experience. Its not fancy, you dont go for the ambience. You go here for good food, good portions, good customer service and good prices. They have over 20 different varieties of pho. Obviously thats their specialty, but their meat and broken rice, or vermicelli noodle plates are delicious as well. And dont forget to order some spring rolls with a slightly sweet peanut sauce, and top your meal off with a Thai tea. Youll probably have leftovers, and you will be happy you do.

When these people opened, the food was good, the portion size was adequate, and you could tip or not. Now, the quality of the food has declined, the portions have gotten much too small - even if you were to gage by European standards - and they add the tip to your bill, automatically. Yeah, they tell you what their service is worth, and for your convenience they add it to your bill. Regardless of you opinion as to the service. They just tipped themselves right out of a customer.

I got the sweet lemonade (cant go wrong with that!) And the special pho which was so delicious and large! It had tons of meat: beef, tripe, tendons. The Pho here was pretty good, however the stir-fried noodle I ordered was pretty mediocre compared to the one I ate at San Diego. There were a lot of people in the restaurant when we arrived and the servers just seemed too busy to take care of us. My girlfriend always tells me about this place and we ended up trying it for the first time last night. It was so good! Saddens me to write this since Ive been coming here since high school. But I went and was treated horribly. Was seated first and then left there for a hour, no water, no drink, nothing. Ordered appetizers and a boba and waton soup. The server, Cassandra, never came to ask how we were and would give us side eyes and proceeded to take the orders and attend to a larger party that was seated after us. The party of 10 people all got theyre food and drinks before the two of us. My appetizers of shrimp was cold and never saw my drinks. I had to ask for them to which she responded condescendingly that we didnt order any drink. We did and she even asked if I wanted boba or no boba. Instead of saying oh maybe it got lost in conversation she argued with me. My pho came out cold and with attitude. Wont be returning, sad but I can clearly see when Im not welcomed.

I got #64 but I think I would have liked the egg style noodle better than the vermicelli.One small problem, Im not going to hold it against Pho Saigon or its employees.Evidently the person before me thought it was a good idea to put his or her nasty napkin in the little scauce caddy trays that are on each table. Like wow, what kind of no good for nothing ingrate would do something like that. I swear somtimes. If I was the owner Id look back on the cameras and find out who did it, that way I could blacklist them from my establishment. Some may think I may be overreacting, or going off on a tangent. This was my first time at Pho Saigon because it is not located on my normal travel routes. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for a Vietnamese restaurant no where near Little Saigon in Orange County. Great food and Jimmy is a character. He makes the time go by quickly during the long waits. Place gets packed quickly at about 6pm and expect a wait thru about 8pm. There was a team of people cooperating to take and deliver order. This really helped serve food quickly even with so many customers. I ate absolutely the best pho I ever had in my life today (1/6/2015). I hope they never change their cooking method. The most amazing part was the soup. For me, pho soup is usually too thin and lacks flavor (compared to what I am used to, pork bone broth), but I gladly scrapped my limited and biased opinion. I believe they made their broth with a lot of onions and beef. It was rich and extremely flavorful.The meat was plenty and flavored with some secret sauce, and tasted great. Noodle was great, and all garnishments were fresh.The food is not fancy, like other views mentioned, but it is extremely healthy and great tasting. Price is rather high for a noodle soup ($7.50) but they are always busy and if they lowered the price, they would not be able to handle the volume of the customer. I will go back again tomorrow and try other menu.

In general it seems its hard to find a BAD Vietnamese noodle house, so when you come upon another good one, its no surprise. Pho Saigon, however, does stand out in a few ways. The bowls of pho are immense, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The accompanying vegetables and herbs, such as fresh basil and bean sprouts, are supplied in greater quantity than at most places, so you wont run out. The red chili sauce in the squeeze container is hotter than most and tastier than most. In addition, the variety of dishes on the menu is much larger than usual. Its not just noodle soup, but an assortment of other interesting dishes, such as sauteed noodles with various meats, seafood, and veggies. Lastly, the restaurant is very large and roomy, an advantage over the often cramped spaces this type of restaurant usually inhabits.
