Food was delish! It’s been a few years since I’ve come here. The food is delicious and service is pretty prompt. It wasn’t too busy during the lunch hour on a Thursday so it was nice a quiet. The cost of pho has definitely gone up as well from a mere $5.00 bowl to $13 for a small!! But I will be back when I need a pho fix!

Service is quick, food comes out quick as well, good variety and each dish is tastes good too. The shrimp for the vermicelli salad looked weird but it doesn’t bad at all, but the shrimp is small… usually for grilled shrimp it should be larger. The soup for the pho is herby and sweet

Visited here with a friend for lunch. My first time visiting. We went and were seated very quickly. Service was very quick. The food was very good. I love the variety of the menu. I did wish that they had basil fried rice on the menu, but I tried their vegetarian noodles instead. The flavor was good. Our spring rolls were fresh and delicious as well. And I absolutely loved my strawberry banana bolba shake! I loved the speed of service here even though they were equally busy the whole time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Very quick with water refills. I would definitely come back here again.

I really love the food here. The staff are very sweet, they rarely come back to your table unless you summon for more water, or whatever. But its not a big deal. They get super busy, it isnt a quiet experience! But the food makes it worth it!

Very good place to eat very clean sanitized on top of making sure the tables were cleaned they brought the food out in perfect timing it was nice and hot fresh crunchy the meat was great the shrimp was juicy I had a Thai tea boba drink and a non-sweet tea perfect atmosphere was great I loved the people that were there as well as the service and it smells so amazing when you first walked in I definitely recommend this place

Best pho in Stockton and they dont require a mask for eaters, only staff! I always get the pho now but they have great rice plates as well. Cool place right next to the Sherwood Mall, as well, if youre looking for a place to eat before or after shopping.

Their Wonton soup with egg noodles 🍜 was amazing. Very generous with the portions and the broth flavor was so savory. This restaurant offers a Vietnamese style cuisine. Clients have options between rice noodles or egg noodles. They also offer Vermicelli, Chow fun, Pho, Chow mein and fried rice dishes.This restaurant has a calm environment experience. They have a restroom available. The restaurant is very clean. Our table had all the necessary condiments, napkins and utensils. The garnishes were fresh.. We were offered complementary water. Service and food were amazing 👏

Every worker was extremely kind, the food was amazing and got to us super fast, they checked up on us frequently and the overall experience was great. While we were there we saw them dealing with an extremely rude woman with a large party that was demanding immediate service and was throwing rude comments at the staff. Honestly commend the workers for treating such an awful person with politeness and professionalism.

My family and I went to Saigon Bay for dinner. The food was delicious, but service could use a little work.I ordered the lemongrass grilled chicken vermicelli noodle plate, and everything was delicious. Plus, the portion sizes were enormous! However, the service was lacking. You are not greeted when you walk in, instead you sign-in your party on a piece of paper in front. Someone eventually comes after a while and examines the sign-in sheet and decides who to seat. Unfortunately, my family was seated directly behind the unofficial sign-in table, so we had to deal with people signing-in next to us while we ate. Once you sit, you must scan a QR code with your phone to view the menu. Personally, I despise when restaurants take this menu-sharing route. We had a party of four, but were only given three waters. We were never given a fourth one as no one came to our table during our 40 minute meal.Upon finishing our meal, we waited patiently to be given the bill. However, with it being my first time eating at Saigon Bay, I didnt realize that a number was taped next to the table and we were supposed to then wait in line and report which table we ate at after our meal to pay for it. This was a very inefficient and somewhat annoying process, as we had our 2 toddlers with us who were forced to stand and wait both before and after our meal. On top of that, there are no kid-sized options other than a kids pho, which picky toddlers wont always choose to eat.The food is definitely worth the investment, but the customer service and lack of atmosphere leaves something to be desired. If Saigon Bay can focus more on their dine-in customers and less on their to-go customers, I would definitely dine-in again. Until then, to-go orders seem to be the way to go here.

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serve pho noodles and pork rice plates. Been here multiple times and looks like they updated their place. I wish they had the sandwiches, but they dont serve these. Overall, great place if you are craving for some pho.

First and Last time eating and dining in.There was a big fruit bug in my dipping sauce.. and I was told that the place always have fruit bugs.. 🤮And portion is pretty small, not worth the price.. 🙃I know that if I was to give them my sauce, theyd take it to the back and scoop the big out and bring it back to me so I just ate without the sauce. Thats sad 😅While eating, 2 flew around my food and one disappeared as it flew into my food.Besides that, really nice lady employee.

My daughter and I love pho and eat it often. Every time I’ve come to pho Saigon bay the staff are rude, dismissive, and extremely inattentive. Today I walked in and asked for a booth. He said “NO, you take one of these seats”. His tone discouraged me from wanting to eat there so I said let me get a to-go menu instead please. He picked up a binder, tossed it on the cashier counter, and walked away. I left that binder there and walked out. I’ve always been disappointed in the service the last few times I’ve been here.When I left I went to PHO ISLAND.The place was FRIENDLY, beautiful, COZY, felt like home! My daughter and I have colds so we needed that vibe. As soon as we walked in the gave us a friendly greeting and seated us IMMEDIATELY! As soon as we sat down a small picture of water was waiting for us, along with our menu. The place was holiday festive we were in AWE of the restaurant it took us a second to realize everything we needed was right at our table. He quickly gave us menus and it was neat, and easy to understand. They have tvs displaying food to help you decide what you want. That helped us a ton, we were able to order quickly and our food came out in it seemed like 5 minutes! This place was AMAZING!! They kept our pitch of water filled, the place was packed with people and the vibes were subtle and serene. Amazing place. Forget about miserable pho Saigon bay and head over to PHO ISLAND!!!!

Service is horrible. When we got seated to our table I asked for a high chair as I’m holding my 10 month old and they say yes they will bring me one. Then 10 minutes goes by we haven’t had menus yet no drinks nobody’s came to our table at all so I asked my daughter to go ask them for menus and she does in another 10 minutes goes by they bring the menus but no high chair yet don’t take our order for drinks don’t take our orders for food, another 20 minutes goes by no highchair no drinks no orders being taken. Nobody comes to our table not one time. Meanwhile other people are coming in and ordering to go and all their orders are getting put in but we can’t even get any server to help us I’m never going back. They fell off wasted, almost an hour of my time, sitting at a table with no customer service whatsoever.

Everything was good until our last order came in it was brought to the wrong table. A few tables away from us and we clearly see that the customer had her spoon and forks in the rice and touched the egg rolls . He came back and took her utensils off her plate and grab the plate and brought it to our table. I told him that it’s been touched if we please can get a new one . He says no. Just no I pointed to the table and said we saw that plate was touched. He kept saying no and no at this point I’m over it . I usually don’t write reviews but I am livid . It ruined our appetite. The pho is always top quality even from very early in the morning to later in the afternoon. Their crab rangoons have actual crab imitations not just cheese like most places that try to scam you. Although most westerners assume that the staff are “rude” initially, they’re actually really cool and the only reason most westerners perceive them as “rude” is due to a language barrier and nothing more. The staff is very hard working and does not speak unless they have to in order to avoid saying something wrong in English which is 100% okay. They’re very quick with the service and for the most part, sanitary.

The place is great and filled with variety of items to choose from. The food is filled with flavor and the service is quick.The only downside is that they didnt bring out an item we ordered, and when they did bring out our items it was very random. Also to pay, since we separated our checks, we didnt know we had to go up to the counter until we asked for the check. Service was absolutely terrible. Servers are rude and they are always understaffed. I order 3 things and we waited an extra 30 minutes until the last one came in. It took so long that we finished our other 2 dishes before it came in! Little to know, the server forgot about it! It is unacceptable to have a server forget a customers order. Watch what you pay for as theyve been proven to price gouge and changing their price menu as they please without updating the menu.I do not recommend at all unless youre that desperate and not know what good food/quality is.Does not even deserve a star but I had to in order to get the point out. Terrible service. Im 8 months pregnant and they never brought me out my food. I took my oldest daughter to have dinner here. She ordered a bowl of soup and I ordered a vermicelli bowl. My daughters food came first and I figured that was due it to being the soup and easier to make. 20 minutes later I still didnt have my food and I noticed that everyone who came in after us all had their food. So here I am, hungry AF, watching everyone else eat. I finally found a waitress and asked her about my food. 10 minutes later she tells me oh sorry food is coming right now. I told her to cancel the order because my daughter was already done eating.they didnt offere anything but an oh Im sorry in broken English. Their food is a lot.mpre expensive than the other pho places in town so its only natural to expect more from them. Horrible horrible service. I will never be coming here again. This place is a JOKE

The food is still good and the service is decent. But they have changed the sizes on the pho it seems, with the old small now being a medium. Looking back at old menu pics I think the price was adjusted accordingly but the bowls seem more empty then before as well.Its still open late and usually doesnt have a long wait so will still come back but maybe not as often or if were really hungry

Been coming here for years because I like their food and the manager is really nice. However, today was a bad day. I came in with my son. Waited for nearly half an hour and no one came to serve us or offer us anything. The servers ignored us. The restaurant was not even busy. We came between 1pm and 2pm. So after waiting for so long to be served, we left. This isn’t the first time this happened. Never coming back here again.

The food was great. I have eaten there about five times. I have never had a bad meal out of there. Last night the place was packed standing-room-only, people waiting for a table. If you are in a hurry dont go there but if you want to enjoy a gourmet meal then I recommend this place.

Don’t let their humble location detour you. Best Vietnamese food and sandwiches EVER! (my husband and I have tried plenty!) We will travel over an hour and half from our home in Yosemite for their yummy food. Also, owners are great and very hospitable. Highly recommend!

We normally order a Chow Fun everytime we go and it would always be the saucy type, and we were always generous with tipping at the restaurant after were were done. But today really takes the cake, our Chow Fun was dry and I just found out that they had 2 different kinds of Chow Fun and I have been eating a saucy type for years now. I didnt even have to go over the menu to tell them what I wanted. On top of that they had a person come and argue that what we ordered was right and that they wont trade the Chow Funs for us after asking nicely. This is the first time we left that restaurant without leaving a single tip on the table. This is also my first time giving a restaurant I used to frequent and like a bad review. In other words the food is good depending on what you order/get, the people working are not great especially since communicating with them is really hard.

Great after the renovation, much more open-spaced. Food is great and the prices are cheap like usual. I just recommend that you dont take the booths, the chairs are a little wobbly as if they werent screwed down properly or at all. So whenever the person behind you, but sharing the same booth chair moves the chair wobbles.

Very nice pho restaurant. I was expecting a hole in wall, but was pleasantly surprised. Service is so fast. I like how they make you pay when you order at front when you come in, it makes everything more efficient. No waiting around for people who cant make up their mind, nor the annoying fight for the check thing, that sometimes does literally start some sort of fight.The portions are definitely adequate, if people dont like onions, (or anything else for that matter) I would suggest to say no onions (or whatever it is you dont like). But then again you wouldnt get to make snarky jokes about finding such small portions under your PILE of onions, to make your review more interesting/funny.So the crispy egg rolls are very flavorful, but served with one piece lettuce. I personally love my cha gio with lots of veggies, mint leaves, cilantro, etc...but its a little lacking here.

I always come here and food is always normally good. But today was pretty bad. My boys didnt even finish theyre food, sons dad didnt finish his noodle soup cause food tasted different/off today and I was skimped out of my noodles. I normally order a #1 large and share noodles with my youngest son and still have enough for me to eat. But today I did not. It was probably a medium size that they gave me for a large size. Not too happy paying $35 for something I could of just made at home for less than that amount. Other than that service is always ok and they are very nice.

Actually, you dont have to be Asian to get good service at this restaurant. I think most of the people who reviewed this place are being paranoid about racial discrimination. ALMOST NO ONE GETS QUICK SERVICE AT SAIGON BAY. But the waiters listen carefully and everyone at my table never had to repeat their order. The staff are very flexible and will modify whatever dish you order so that it is to your liking. Prices are reasonable and affordable for most people. The food is pretty fantastic, as long as you dont order certain types of meat product. I love their chow fun. : )

FANTASTIC!!! Me and my husband enjoyed the old Saigon Bay but the renovated Saigon Bay is almost beyond words can describe. The staff were all very on top of everything, not once did we have to flag down a waiter. The food was served very quickly and was soo delicious and fresh! We couldnt help but keep saying how awesome the experience was. We definitely will be spreading the word to our friends and family.

Great Pho, Ive never seen my girlfriend eat so much noodles. It was amazing! She was feeling sick prior to eating here, but now shes very jumpy and bubbly. Im trying to hold her down, but she has this crazy super human strength. She was causing a ruckus and taking out tables and silverware. I tried the best I could to control the situation!

I asked them if they were open for dine in and they said only outdoor, but were letting certain groups of people eat inside. Food was ok but then again Im not a huge fan of Pho food. We went with some girlfriends. There was 3 adults and 8 children. They made us wait a LONG time. We saw a round table open and went to sit our kids downs while us 3 adults waited for someone around us (there were 4 tables where the people were done eating and just sitting around chatting. They saw we were hovered around our kids standing up and none got up...obviously this is not the restaurants fault but just plain rude). We then asked some people if we could have the seats they werent using and were about to sit with our kids (we would have fit ok) and a waiter came and told us to not sit like that and to wait until another table was available. The 2 waiters that helped us seemed a bit rude. I dont know if I would ever go back there. They could not accommodate a large group of people and kept up standing for about 35 mins.

Service was terrible. They took orders from tables that arrived after us and the table next to us that got there 20 minutes after us and ordered after us got their food first. They got my order wrong and tried to convince me that I ordered something completely different instead of what I initially ordered. And when I finally received it, one of the key ingredients was missing. My appetizer (spring rolls) smelled bad. Like the shrimp was about to go bad. I made the mistake of eating it anyways because i waa starving and our food took forever. it gave me food poisoning and I will definitely never return.

Delicious Phò with a constant flavor! My husband, daughter, and I have been coming here for about 5 years and have left happy and full each time. Our only complaint would be that their servers arent the most attentive, so we will typically walk to the front to ask for something. I would like to recommend their rare steak phò with the steak on the side. This means that they bring it to you raw, on a plate. Start by adding some fish sauce, jalapeño, chili flakes in oil, bean sprouts, and the basil. Then only add a few pieces of the beef at a time. It will cook before your eyes and then eat it when it changes color but before its overcooked and youll see why we order it this way. My other dish was a rice dish with grilled pork chops, skewered shrimp, shrimp paste, eggrolls - the pork chops were on the thin (cut) side and the 4 shrimp were small on the skewer.They do have good, strong Vietnamese coffee, good crispy / spring eggrolls.Be prepared to pay after your place your dine-in or take-out order. Vietnamese food is another favorite of mine. I always get the fried shrimp, but seafood Pho is my absolute favorite. The fresh mint, cilantro, and especially the broth, oh so delicious!
