I’ve eaten here 3 times in the last week, the pho is that good! Can’t wait to try other dishes but about the pho, the broth is aromatic and rich (not too salty or sweet either like some other places that cheat), portions (noodles and meat) were solid for the house large, price was solid, the herbs were fresh and washed. What more can you ask for! Oh, the Vietnamese coffee comes out quick and is quite rich :).

Tried this place after a nice little hike and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered some Pho with a rice combo meal, and it was delicious. Also the spicy sauce they made and put in a empty Sriracha bottle is amazing. It tastes good with a hint of garlic i believe but not sure… The staff was kind and friendly too.

First time here. Was seated in a timely manner, no wait. I ordered calamari which was a little to salty for my taste. The accompanying sauce was good though. The Well-done pho was okay as well. My cousin and I got served one plate of the toppings to share. Were used to having one plate each, which this is different. The lemonade tasted artificial, but it was still okay. Overall, the staff was friendly and the actual food was okay.

Great location, easy parking. The food came out within 5min. We ordered Pho Special #P1 and Special vermicelli, both were very good. Pho broth was good flavor, not too salty. The staff was friendly and helpful. $58 for 3 orders and 3 drinks, reasonable prices. Will come back when were in the area next time.

This is probably one of the best places for Pho in San Marcos/Escondido area. My favorite is the Tom Kha Soup with coconut broth. It is in a shopping center so parking is plenty. Very friendly people and nice ambience too. If you are looking for a reasonably priced good quality pho Escondido, this is the place for you.

Accessibility: the parking lot was very busy, even on a Wednesday night around 7:30 PM. There are a few accessible/disabled parking spots available but you end up having to go around other cars in the parking lot to get to the ramp then go up the sidewalk toward the entrance. The door to enter is a pull/push door. It is very well lit inside and low tables with movable chairs if you are in a wheelchair or other.Experience: its really cute inside and very well lit. The Teriyaki Chicken with Jasmine Rice and Vegetables was very good.

I have been to this location many times now. It all started when I got sick a few ago and needed soup. I ordered delivery and was blown away bybthe Chicken Pho I got here. It helped me with the lime, basil, jalapeños and other veggies they include. I ordered a large pho with Lo Mein noodles.The second time I picked up and got the rare steak pho for my roommate and myself the chicken pho. I was still sick. My roommate just got a some deliciousness on me. She loved it as well.The 3rd time I brought a bunch of my coworkers since we had an In-person meeting. I got the rare steak pho, my coworkers had a sandwich, some chicken curry soup, and range of different phos. They were all not disappointed.Every single time, and I can tell you Ive been here more times than I can count now and Priscilla is always such a gem. You can tell she works hard, she always answers the phone and is such a wonderful presence when you walk in to pick up your food.This is definitely one of my go-to places in the area.

This place was so go! I ordered the combo beef soup with meatballs, salt and pepper chicken wings, salt and pepper crispy calamari and a Thai boba tea. The soup was so hot and delicious but there was a lot of tripe which I don’t normally mind but it was amor more than I’d like. Also the boba was good but I would’ve loved whipped cream on top lol. And the chicken wings were so so good! Can’t miss them! Oh he calamari taste a little fishy but it had good flavor.

As a Vietnamese-American, I know good pho. My family makes it from scratch at home. So most pho restaurants have a difficult time meeting my expectations. But this place is different. The broth and meat quality here is very good. Bean sprouts, and greens here are a little wilted, but otherwise everything else is fair.The physical space here is small and because this spot is popular, expect a wait before you can get in to eat.

Came to have lunch with my sister for the first time and I loved it. The staff was really nice and made sure we were comfortable especially since they have seating outside due to the covid. Great food and great staff! Priscilla is always so friendly and happy to see her customers. She remembers all their names and favorite dishes, she really makes it a please to eat there. Can’t wait for them to be fully open again. I used to go there at least once a month for lunch before the shutdown, so I was delighted to see that they are STILL OPEN FOR TAKE OUT AND DELIVERY. They have a great contactless order and pickup service… and of course, the food is still amazingly good. Omg!! I think I found the best bun Bo hue in town! I’ve had it at several local places and it just wasn’t good but I wasn’t going to give up!When I saw that they had it on the menu of course I had to order and I am soooo glad I did! It had everything bun Bo hue asks for!! You know it isn’t bun Bo hue if there isn’t any blood cubes in it.There was so much meat in my soup! Pho Saigon Express is my favorite pho spot in San Diego! Their pho is so good! The broth is so rich and flavorful. Their salt and pepper chicken wings and orange chicken is bomb AF and their Vietnamese coffee is to die for. Their staff is extremely friendly. Scilla and Leo are the best. I drive from Scripps Poway Pkwy because there is no better pho place in town. It beats all the spots in Mira Mesa and all the spots i’ve tried off Convoy. It’s a must try!!!

First time visiting here. Really great restaurant with nice decor and good food. The host was super friendly which off-sets some of the not so friendly staff. The food though is the star. We got the Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup), Com Ga Noug (Rice with Grilled Chicken) and a fried fish dish all were really good. For drinks we did the Iced Expresso with Condensed Milk and the Thai Tea Boba both wed recommend as well. Overall a great experience and quite possibly my favorite pho place in North County

Born and raised in Vietnam for 16 years and have been in the US for 8 years now but this place has the best vietnamese pork chop with rice (com suon bi) dish I’ve ever had in the US! And the best spring rolls sauce too! They made everything so authentic that I felt like I was back home in Vietnam. I have always been picky about my pork chop (I dont like it when its just a little dry) but this place definitely amazed me. I went to San Diego for only 5 days for work and I went here 3-4 days in a row lol

The place is big, clean and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and patient. The food, though, I dont think was that great. For the price, my seafood pho had three good size prawns and a few pieces of imitation crab meat that were slimy and lots of vegetables. We came here because of friends recommendation. I would still come back and try other dishes on the menu. The portions are big for sure.

Highly recommend! I grew up near Little Saigon in Orange County so Im super picky when it comes to Pho and this place did not disappoint. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was wonderful and welcoming! Definitely not like the typical rude service expected at Pho restaurants. I have 4 kids and they were very satisfied with their food. We will be back for sure! And if youre craving Asian food then treat yourself to this awesome place.

We ordered pho here and some fresh shrimp rolls for appetizer. Everything was decent. The fresh roll was a bit tough and the sauce could use a bit more peanuts. My beef stew pho was pleasantly flavorful and was filled with beef. Some pieces of the beef was very tough to chew but overall, a tasty dish. We also ordered a rare beef, flank, tendon and tripe pho and it was decent. If I am around the area, I will definitely come back.

My family and I love pho and we recently moved to the Escondido area and of course we had to look for some good Vietnamese food so we looked on Yelp and found Pho Saigon express. We ordered a bowl of the Curry chicken pho and a bowl of the regular pho with rare steak. We also ordered a chicken bahn mi sandwich. Everything we ordered was so good. So flavorful!! My favorite was the Curry chicken pho but they were all so yummy!! I highly recommend Pho Saigon Express. I know we will definitely be back!!

They have an expansive menu so anyone will find something theyll love!The food is not the only thing to rave about. I have been ordering from here at least once a week since finding it, and will continue to do so until I can finally visit in person! I can personally only attest to the vegan pho (which comes in a perfect bowl to eat out of! Hooray for a meal with no dishes!), the huge and delicious tofu spring rolls (which come with tons of amazing peanut sauce), and the delicious mango boba tea, but my family has loved their meat dishes as well. I also love that they send me thank you notes, and that I don’t need to ask for extra basil or sprouts because they send plenty. Order from here and you won’t be disappointed!

Ive been to a lot of different Vietnamese restaurants and let me tell you, this is the best one in North County San Diego. The prices are good! The restaurant is very clean and the food is so amazing, they will make it anyway you like and accurately prepare it. Weve been here all the time. Ordered seafood noodles soup. The shrimp was old and moldy 🤮, we tell the lady and she just gave us the fresh one. Was looking for some ramen or pho after a day at the safari park and found this place. The place was busy, I knew it had to be good. Took it back to my hotel room and I was surprised how much food it was. So, much I had a lot left over. The broth you can taste the warm spices and it hit the spot. It was so good I went back the next morning for some to take home. It was the good. The lady behind the register, whom I believe might be the owner is very friendly and immediately recognized me when I walked in. Definitely going to be a regular anytime I am in the area. First time here. We ordered Com Ga (R2), Pho Rare Steak (P18) and Pad Thai (C4) they brought out an old stale food! If I have a farm, my pig wont want to eat this food. Apparently, thoses ratings more than 1 star have no ideas what the Vietnamese (Asian) authentic dishes are taste like. Stay away from this place, spend your hard working money somewhere else.

We went in for Pho but ordered Chinese. The egg drop soup was great on a cold night. I ordered garlic salt & pepper wings, they were crispy on the outside and so full of flavor. It was terrible experience. I ordered bowl of pho. I waited for 20 min . They brought outMy pho. It was cold . However; I found dead cockroaches inside my bowl. I show them . They apologized and replaced a new bowl. Furthermore; it was the same bowl that was before. Was just here.... First time visiting after seeing the reviews. Was left very disappointed. Husband ordered food. His food arrived literally five minutes after he ordered. By the time my son and I received our food, my husband was done, others who came after us got their food( they ordered more complex meal than I did). 30 minutes later, food arrived and my sons meal arrived cold. Hate to think that the service I got was because of the color of my skin but... it sure felt that way. I saw another lady who had the same skin tone as me waiting for her food for almost as long as I waited and she was ordering to go. Talked to the manager and she pretty much blew me off. She said sorry Ill let them know. In the most uncaring manner. Ive never complained about food or service but the times that I have, the managers almost always offer to make it right. My advice? For all those who love Pho Saigons food, READ THIS. 8 years ago my boss and I went to lunch at Pho Saigon. He had Pho and found little baby cockroaches swimming in his pho. We brought it to the attention of our server, was reimbursed for the meal and never came back. Last week it was cold and I craved beef stew. Pho Saigon was the only beef stew on the menu so I gave them another try. Nothing has changed in 8 years! The kitchen is unsanitary!!!! Ive eaten here a few times and the food is good. Good in person customer service. Quick turn around time. Had one issue that lead to my 3 star review and not doing business with them again. My order was messed up and cost me $17. Called the manager told them the situation, offered to send pictures to show my order wasnt right. They said they would refund that portion of the order and I was okay with the resolution. Checked my bank statement a few days later and they still charged me for that portion of the order. Another pleasant experience when visiting during summer midday heat the restaurant was a comfortably cool rest from the outside heat.Visited for lunch today. Under 15 minutes from the time we entered till we were served. The food was every bit as good. And this was despite a line of food on the pick up table for all our busy delivery people. Fantastic service and wonderful food. I had Spicy Pho Thai Tom Yum Soup with chicken. The soup was slightly spice, but each bite had undertones of sweetness. Nice People. Good food. I got the #13 with meatball. Wife got spring rolls. Kid got their kid tofu bowl and she ate it up. Asked for seconds.We got it to go and they pack everything up for you so you can put your noodle bowl together at home. I recommend microwaving the broth 45 seconds before adding it in so it’s a little too hot (good thing). Just like in the restaurant!

Im a vegetarian and I always appreciate a delicious nutritious vegetarian meal. I also think one of the best secret ingredients of any meal is a good dose of love! I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to make me feel extremely welcome. I ordered a yellow coconut curry soup with tofu, veggies and rice and was very pleased. I was surprised that my bill was under $11 for dinner that will provide me a lunch as well tomorrow. Give it a try and see what you think!

If you are not a fan of pho then you should give their Chinese food a try, it is also tasty and not greasy (which is a huge plus in my book). Also, if I could give the service here 10 stars I would. Amazing place. Everything is great. Probably some if the best customer service Ive ever experienced in a Pho restaurant. Literally every 10 minutes a different employee would come up and ask us how everything is. Pricilla was especially nice, and even knew other customers we were friends with by their first names. Ate here on a recommendation of a friend. there are many restaurants serving Pho in this area. We were very pleased. The service was very good. We asked the waiter for recommendations and he gave us very good advise. I chose the #18 Pho, which is rare steak. My friend had R23 fish filet with basil and onions. We also had A5 Spring rolls with shrimp. Everything was excellent. Portions were generous. Cost was very reasonable. Wide assortment of dishes whether Vietnamese or Chinese. Im only basing this on the one dish I ordered which was really tasty its based on a Chinese recipe for meatloaf with scrambled egg mixed into the loaf and Ive never seen this dish anywhere except home prepared. We came to eat Pho again after one year. We were not disappointed as the greeting was warm and friendly. We had a nice table with lots of room and the menu was full of wonderful choices. Ordered the shrimp spring rolls and they were delicious. Ordered the Dac Biet (House Special) Pho which had all types of meat (rare steak, well done brisket, tendon, tripe) and great vermicelli. The chicken and rice dish was also very good. And all for a very reasonable price and it tasted great also. Look forward to coming again and again.

I am only taking the time to write this because of not only the amazing food (im very picking with my pho, I know the difference between good and bad) but also the amazing service. The owner Priscilla was so happy and positive. She greeted every customer with a smile. She checked on us just the right amount of time where it didnt feel too much and asked how we were doing and you could just feel how grateful she was that people were there. The food was really good, but our server had the worst attitude towards us. He was being nice to everyone else around us, but since the moment we sat down until we left, he was being rude and unprofessional. The cashier was very nice. The boba teas were wait to sweet, and the boba wasnt cook properly. Honestly i would have to rate the service as a 2 and the food as a 4. Stopped by after work and ordered $30.00 of food, 2 pho soups and the well done steak broth was super cold when I got home ready to eat not happy that I had to put inside the microwave to eat, Keep in mind that I just got of work after a long day with no breakfast or lunch and I was disappointed. 2nd time my broth is cold, I only live 3 minutes from there so there is no way my food can get cold that fast.. 2 star for the friendliness.
