Well, its better now, mostly, than under the previous owners. I ordered (I didnt get it) a large mixed Pho, for $15.95. I was charged $20, and was brought an all-beef bowl, still on the smaller size compared to traditional Pho. At least not the ridiculously tiny portion they used to serve. The broth, while again not quite authentic, was also better than before. Still didnt pass the gelatin test, but better. Happily, they finally got bean sprouts, a big step in the right direction!The meat was all beef. Not the mixed Pho I ordered, and an extra $5!!! This was not explained to me, sneaky. It was sliced cooked beef, fatty cubes of cooked beef, and raw slices to add, plus a few half meatballs. The raw beef was described as wagyu. Ok I guess, but not what I wanted. I wanted real Pho.They do now have at least the basic condiments to customize your bowl, another good change.Sadly, while thier menu has the staple, traditional and authentic mixed Pho listed, with cooked beef, tendon, tripe, and rare beef on it, the dont actually have it! And I was told they have no plans on ever having it, that the menu was a mistake. Sadly the price for a real Pho was better too, at 15.95, still very pricey. But they dont actually have it, so, whatever...No real Pho. This is sad, I once again had hoped to get real Pho, close to home I dont understand why this one Pho resturaunt doesnt sell it, but since every other place does...I will maybe check in here again, since unless they want to quickly go out of business like the last two local Pho resturaunts, they will need to change this, and probably thier prices, too. So fingers crossed, for me and for them!
My GF and I have been coming here since they opened. The owner is very nice and the food is really good. They are very fast. Come and give it a try.
This is unacceptable. They did awful overcooked the wontons and still pack and sell for customer. Unbelievable !!! How can this food be eatable?Please be heartfelt in your business.
The service was excellent! This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around here. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. The broth of the pho is delicious and the peanut sauce had amazing flavor. Overall 10/10!!
I love this place, I just wish they had beer, they applied for it but haven’t got it. Evan is a very nice guy. The host was very nice too. I order to go but the restaurant is super clean and airy. They have an outside seating too.
This is one of the better Pho places Ive been to. The food is fresh. Made from scratch. Delicious broth. My kids loved the chicken Pho. Most of the time they only eat the noodles. Here, they devoured the entire thing. Again, fresh ingredients. The service is great. And to top it off, the place is super clean. Everything from the condiments, tables, walls, and restrooms. To me, this means the kitchen is just as clean. Highly recommended place to eat.
Wow! I am so impressed with the quality and flavor. The garlic noodles with filet mignon was excellent and the meat was perfectly juicy and tender. The chicken fried rice was also delicious and the chicken was so flavorful. Also the egg rolls and spring rolls were divine. This restaurant was such a find and I am so happy they are so close to our house that we can visit/order often!
Best Pho Ever! Pho Saigon Gem is not only beautiful and clean, it has excellent fresh food! Stopped in tonight for a bowl of hot filet mignon pho and fresh spring rolls and it was wonderful! The owner, Evan, and his chef, were friendly and kind. I’ll definitely go back!

We have been here twice since the new owners took over and it is in my opinion spectacular. The menu is varied. The food fresh and flavorful and nicely presented. The first time we went we had the garlic noodles with tofu and vegetables and the fried rice with beef. Both were wonderful. Tonight was takeout night and we got the chow mein soft noodles with vegetables and beef. I have included photos. The beef with thinly sliced very tender and lean. It really is enough for two people. The staff is attentive and kind. Hopefully you’ll give it a try. This is becoming our new go to.
Stopped by @ 3:30 PM. Ordered the Pho Dac Biet (House Special Pho) regular, and a plate of shrimp and pork spring rolls with a peanut diping sauce. Everything was spot on. I really love the pho as the broth has a rich and well seasoned flavor and the noodles are super thin. All in all it surpassed my expectations.
Tried the location today after the new management/rename. Wife and I had two different types of Pho. Both were very good, but in our opinion, not as good as it was before under the Pho Nation ownership. Really disappointed that the previous owner is no longer running things. She was very sweet and you could really tell she took a lot of pride in her recipe. She will be missed!
The people there were very friendly, answered all our questions about the food. One thing I might suggest is maybe for the people that don’t understand the food menu very much it would be great if you put some pictures of the dishes you serve so we know what we would be ordering. Family and I had somewhat a hard time figuring out what to eat but overall when the food came out everything was delicious and their customer service was great! I hope they did get their liquor License since they didn’t have it at the time we went!
Hands down, best pho I have ever had. The broth left me speechless. Ingredients are fresh, it reflects on every dish. The attention to detail and the best customer service from all staff.Highly highly recommended!

Irresistible. Were new to the area and were no stranger to authentic and fresh pho from places known to have great pho (Garden Grove, Westminster, etc). We heard that this restaurant was under new ownership to which it has vastly improved. Well, we tried it and it was delicious. We found our pho fix and plan to be regulars. Whatever stigma this restaurant had, put aside your biases and come back. You wont be disappointed.
I went to this place to deliver an Uber eats order and I politely asked for the Wi-Fi but i was told to leave the place for no reason.
Pho is one of my kids favorite food and Im happy to see more option in our area.For lunch, we had beef pho and vietnamese spring rolls as appetizers. Pho tasted good for southern orange county asian food standard and I would definitely come back for Pho. Portion was generous and all the ingredients appeared premium.Deep fried Spring rolls were okay but not anything special.I also had Vietnamese iced coffee but I was little disappointed. I used to go to a restaurant that would bring out the freshly brewed hot coffee in a mug and a glass of ice with condensed milk. You can tell the iced coffee is pre-made like most places in southern orange county. For 6 dollar iced coffee, I expect it to be freshly brewed.Not long ago, I was able to get a bowl of standard pho cheaper than a bigmac meal(Bay area) Its kind of crazy to see a bowl going near 20 dollar mark.For lunch, if I skipped on app and got two coffee and two bowl it would be about 40 dollars + tip. Which is acceptable for this area but not too exciting. I know food cost is crazy right now...If you can have lunch combo like drink + pho for less than 15 bucks. I would come by more often for sure.Im giving 5 stars for now based on my one visit experience. I plan on going back soon to try other food.I really hope this place improves and thrives. I dont want to risk being stuck on traffic for decent bowl of pho 😫 😩
DELICIOUS PHO!!I Walked in at 2pm and was seated right away. The restaurant is clean, large and has nice decor.I ordered wagu rare pho. It was heavenly.The staff was very polite and i very much look forward to going back and trying more things on their menu.

Our food was very good. Fresh, crisp vegetables and the seafood and meat were nicely cooked, not overdone. Inside/outside seating. Family owned. The owners were very nice. We ate outside with our dog, Loverboy.
So good! The pho is amazing. Even a heatwave cant keep me away from their delicious pho. I usually get the filet pho or the shrimp pho. 10/10! The thai ice tea is great too; not too sweet like most other places. You can actually taste the tea.

Employee touches everything with their hand and Then clean the table and Then touches the menu then goes in the kitchen and touches the veggies without changing their gloves or to wash their hands. . If you are looking to get food poisoning, this place is the best spot.
Food was cold and yet over cooked? Drinks where badly made lemon soda made with water, Thai tea too sweet made with old bolba left overnight.No knew what they were doing just talking amongst themselves. This place will last less than Pho Nation the last restaurant lasted less than a year?

Good food before the new management, good food after. Lots has improved and though I’ll miss the sweet lady who was here, the good energy of this place has stayed. Employees are very attentive and helpful, food is quick to come out but delicious, and lots of other things.

2023-10-18 21:25:40I came here to get something to eat after working a long shift. Its filling, good pricing, fast service, polite service, great atmosphere and decor, quality of food is wonderful. I love pho and have tried many spots, this one has that light flavor that you can mix with the ingredients (lemons spices ECT.) Jasmine tea is good 😊. Its super empty at 1-3pm Wednesday so if you need a spot to just sit without anyone around this is the spot. They have outside seating for those with pets. They have other options besides just noodles soups as well for those looking to eat something outside of a soup :)

We ordered the pho special, chow fun, and appetizer sampler. Everything came out fresh and hot. We really enjoyed everything. It was a great lunch! Well be happy to return and we are glad we have this option in our area now.

2023-11-13 21:01:36My husband and I usually come between 11 and 1 and the food here is quite good. We are particular with pho broth and this one is tasty. I always get brisket and rare steak and he gets the combination bowl and it passed the test! Gelatinous cuts should melt in your mouth and they sure do. Thai tea is good and spring rolls are always my favorite. My only suggestion would be to use fresh lemons for the lemon soda. When you use bottled lemon juice you can taste the difference and its not very good. Overall nice atmosphere, nice people, good food and reasonable prices.

I was very happy to see that they had Vietnamese iced coffee coffee as Ive gone to a few restaurants lately that have not served that and erve that and to go to a Vietnamese restaurant and not have Vietnamese ice coffee Seems like a crime!! But I was happy To find it and it tasted delicious. I did order the truffle fries and while they were tasty it Seem to be a bit over priced…. basically it look like a medium McDonalds French fry cooked in truffle oil... $8.95 seemed a little overpriced for that. overall though Ill be coming back here for my pho and VICoffee fix 😁

2022-05-28 18:00:31Fantastic new Vietnamese restaurant! I had the Pho Saigon Gem with Wagyu Beef and it was delicious and my girlfriend had the oxtail pho which was also amazing. The pho broth was nice and clean without excessive fat. We both like the decor and the place was spotless. The service was very prompt and there plenty of parking.
