Its one of the worst services I have ever experienced. I guess the waiter was not having a good day. He did not respond to me the entire time, only got a few en and one time he said ok.Unreal!!The food was good, but not good enough for me to go back again.

Did a stop by here for lunch. For once I didnt go for the Pho but some substance and did a rice dish. I was pleased with the grilled pork with lemon grass seasoning. My friend did the Pho and it was alright when I sampled it. For the mile(s) to drive from the Spectrum to another nearest Vietnamese restaurant, I would say this is the better one to do a meal.The owners are wonderful and I felt bad that I didnt get to stop by before leaving California as they said to do so before I left. My business schedule prevented me so I finally got around to making this review and I want to say, definitely next time! I will cross-country from Nebraska back again soon as I have many businesses I can make for scheduling.

Sign outside says wait to be seated, so I waited outside and was ignored for 10-15 minutes and only 3 groups were seated. An employee passed by me four times without saying anything or acknowledging me, then I place my order to-go at the front after waiting 15 minutes and the employee just walked away without saying anything and forgot to charge me for the food

Don’t go here.Our server was incompetent. He forgot one of our main dishes. I followed up to make sure he rang it in. He STILL didn’t go ring it in.He also literally picked his nose while talking to our table.The pho was luke warm.Terrible.What is that person doing. Give them training or get them out of there.

Food was pretty decent, but not the flavor I’m looking for. Could be preference, but I feel like most pho place have quite similar taste. Theirs has stronger star anise flavor, which I’m not a fan of. Also, they didn’t send out one of the appetizers we ordered and when I brought it up, they didn’t seem to believe it. Service was almost none, no water or tea refills, no checking in at all. Would I return? Probably not, unless I’m TOO lazy to drive to little Saigon.

I had my first dine in experience the other night and was pretty satisfied overall. The things that really stood out to me were the cleanliness of the tables and seats and the friendliness of the front of house who promptly got me a table when I arrived. The interior decoration and lighting gives Pho Saigon Pearl an upscale yet modest family friendly ambiance.Onto food:Pricing seems average compared to most pho restaurants in OC. I ordered one of their signature bowls, which includes beef broth and my choice of up to 3 cuts of meat, only for $13 (regular) $14 (large). I only picked the rare steak and despite this the portions of steak were very generous and it was indeed rare. Im not a broth afficianado but I did like it enough to finish my entire bowl. The utensils and condiments were clean. When I was served the bean sprouts and mint leaves they seemed fresh.Overall nothing negative about my first dine in experience and I really appreciate a good pho restaurant right there in Irvine Spectrum. Hoping to return more during the colder months.

Worst Pho and service ever had.Pho was horrendously distasteful. Bahn mi had no texture to bread. Fried rice onions were undercooked. Probably the worst pho I had and that is rare for me to say. Do not recommend. I would recommend little sister or sup noodle. The service was horrible as well.

The service was great we had three in our party and were sat down right away, we ordered spring rolls to share which were amazing I highly recommend them. There is a lot to choose from on their menu but all three of us had the #11 Pho with Filet Mignon Rare Steak, un-phoking believable! Everyone of us were blown away, the broth was amazing very delicious, meat was very tender and cooked perfectly.The fresh rice noodles are the best in the area, make sure you add the bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno slices and lime.

To those reading the reviews to see if they should dine here or not. Do not come here. The service was terrible. The waiter didnt even feel like being there. My family and I had to repeat our order a few times before the guy wrote it down. The waiter didnt even provide the bare minimum of service. No greetings, no awareness, no apology. My family and I ordered pho and their food was mediocre at best. The broth was not tasty and the meat was cold. I got a stomach ache after eating here. This place by far is the worst pho restaurant Ive been to. Spend your money elsewhere. Im never coming back here again.

Good when you’re short on time.Spring rolls- giant… it had veggies, pork, shrimp, noodles.- sauce tasted more like bean paste. Would like to see more peanut flavor than soy flavor. Years ago, I used to like this place. I tried it again twice and I sadly have been disappointed. Not sure what is going on but they need to go back to their head chef and redo their menu or recipes or whatever. I hate to leave negative reviews but Im not sure if I would return. Im the type to ask for a box if there is left over food. I did get a box but I ended up not eating my leftovers.

If you want to season your own food that’s been microwaved, using only the Siracha and oyster sauce provided at the table, then this is the place for you. This place is about as flavourful as a cardboard box. Literally is like they just boiled beef in water with no seasonings and tried to pass it off as Phō. Tastes AI generated. The staff isn’t very friendly, either. 1/10

Poor service. I ordered two dishes and a kids meal, Very simple. They came around twice to make corrections and asked me if this is what I ordered. I had to repeat myself three times on top of that the tap water have no ice and tasted like sink water. It will be the last time I’ll be eating at this place.

My recent visit to Pha Saigon Pearl Spectrum was an absolute letdown. The sandwich I ordered smelled like it had been left out in the sun for days, and the taste was equally disgusting. The pho soup was no better, had a very awful stench that made me question their hygiene standards. Despite pointing out that the tofu in my sandwich was clearly spoiled, the restaurants response was to acknowledge the issue without bothering to replace the offending item. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is truly disappointing. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, as the entire experience was nothing short of a culinary nightmare.

Worst experience in service ever by the waiters, my wife and I walked in at 8:45pm the place closes at 10pm. The waiter rolled his eyes and got pissy when I ordered a coconut for my wife a minute after my original order, then we got our food along with the check like they were making it clear that we had to hurry up and get out! and we still had an hour before closing time, then halfway through eating the waiter, demands that I hurry up and pay! In the meantime, people are still walking in and being seated! We also noticed they didnt treat the late comers like they did us! I hope this helps anyone who goes to this place and feels like they are annoying the waiter by ordering and being there doing the customer thing! I suggest you put a stop to their discordant rude behavior and demand respect! Or just dont go here! There are tons of these kinds of restaurants all over the city that will be happy to have your business at any time during regular business hours!

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but because of the terrible service, I have to, so no one else goes through this. My lady and I decided to get pho at the Irvine Spectrum area because it was close by. As we were seated and asked to order, the server with glasses rolled his eyes and rushed us to order. I knew from his body language and demeanor that it’s been a long day for him and I tried to empathize with him because I’m also a server as well. However, he kept being rude. I also repeated my order so he wouldn’t forget the vegetable pho with the white noodles (for my lady) and to have the extra side of yellow egg noodles ON THE SIDE. and next thing you know, he puts the yellow egg noodles in the vegetable pho. I know it’s not a big deal but seeing my woman upset and how he was treating us, it made me a little disappointed. Also a little while after the food comes out, he places the bill on the table to indirectly tell us to hurry up and get going. Peak comedy. It wasn’t even close to closing yet and people were still coming in to get seated. One thing that made me chuckle was when I paying the bill, his whole demeanor changed. He was being very friendly and was looking for a tip. I was laughing, and wrote “$0.00” on the tip line. This is just to warn couples of my experience. The other waiters seemed much nicer and respectful, but for my experience, the server with glasses was very rude. I quickly cheered up my woman afterwards and she moved on. If you’re planning to eat here with your significant other, please don’t. you might get the same server as us and he’ll kill the entire vibe. I’m sure there’s restaurants with better customer service. Good luck :)

This place had some pros and cons.Pro: Quick Service, nice inside/outside sitting area, not too expensive.Con: if you are a pho fan you will find the broth to me too bland and not very flavorful. It will definitely require you to put some extra sauce and spices in.Overall okay for a quick meal but not your go-to if you are in the mood for a good Vietnamese meal.

Employees do not wear masks, theres no social distancing, and they dont reinforce masks for the patrons are either.---The pan fried chicken wing is the best I have ever had! The skin is crispy while the meat is still very tender, and the garlic and fish oil flavor is strong and tasty. It was so delicious I finished it before remembering to take a picture!They are also very generous with the ingredients for the banh mi. It wasnt the best I tasted, but I appreciate that they added extra pate at no extra cost when requested.

Decided to order via DoorDash to get some pho and stir fried vegetables with rice... Never received the stir fry but the pho was REALLY good! Came with the sauces and the sprouts/basil/cilantro and very well packed! Got the refund for the missing items... Went back a few days later to place an order for takeout... This time, we ordered a large pho, the stir fried vegetables with rice that we didnt get the 1st time, and some Vietnamese spring rolls... Spring rolls and stir fry were good, didnt seem extremely salty and was good. Saved the pho to bring home and eat... Went to heat up the broth and opened up the bowl container... Missing the sauces, sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno and the cilantro... Disappointing since those missing items are what make the pho! Staff was nice, but we should not have to examine the order and find missing items. The orders were 3 nights apart... Would go back but not if we have to check our order each time to make sure things arent missing. Not sure if eating at the restaurant would help (only thing is we can tell them that we are missing items)??

Decided to go here with my girlfriend and we both got combination soup #10. It smelt and tasted awful with pieces of raw meat in it. So politely we asked to pay and the owner was very rude to us saying that there was nothing wrong with it and they have served it hundreds of times. He refused to try it and didn’t apologise. Not recommended if you want to eat good Vietnamese food. We ordered some main dishes and some appetizers. Garlic Noodles with Grill - cant taste any garlic, and it tastes so sweet. Shrimp is okay but too dried. Also this is not a Vietnamese dish. Crispy Seafood Noodles - the sauce for this dish is so salty, but the mushrooms didnt taste any flavor. It tastes super weird. Pho with filet mignon steak - the beef didnt taste filet mignon and the soup is just so so. Not too bad but nothing. Also on the menu it lists with fresh noodle. Sorry, they didnt serve fresh noodles. If you want to have good pho, please skip here.Their appraiser is better than the main dish, but it didnt taste like traditional Vietnamese food. Fried calamari is not Vietnamese food.One thing I can recommend here is their coffee. If you want to get a cup of Vietnamese coffee at the Irvine spectrum, you can stop here.

No acknowledgement at all when I walked in or sat down. Had to chase someone down to take my order. When my food finally came, it was really bad and made my stomach sick. Because of the horrible food and rude service I decided not to leave a tip (which I always normally tip), but they wrote themselves a 20% tip on my check anyway after I had already put a line through the tip part. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you still decide to gothere, watch your stomach and bank account afterwards.

The food is good at this chain, but the service at this location was bad - specifically from one man. I arrived for my pick up order right on time and stood by the podium (where it says to wait) for a good 5 minutes before I decided to go directly up to the checkout counter since no one was coming by. They weren’t busy, but no problem. But then there was an older gentleman leaning on the counter on his phone and I stood in front of the counter for a good minute while he ignored me. I even used the hand sanitizer pump in hopes of him seeing me. He ignored my “excuse me” and hello”s until I told him directly that I was there to pick up my order (which was sitting right behind him) and that I could see it. That got his attention and I showed him my phone with the Postmate’s information and order confirmation. He said my confirmation page needs to show my name. I said I have the proof of my order on my phone… there was no name listed on the order confirmation. I showed him the order that of course matched with what was in the bag - and he hesitated before finally handing over my order with an annoyed face. What could’ve been an easy 30 second exchange turned into a 5 min “prove you’re you” session that was completely unnecessary because the order matched.

As a business owner, service is critical to me, and this place failed. We decided to go somewhere else to eat and left. Was a regular here and Leo would serve me and my boyfriend. Today during our meal he came to the table to make conversation then proceeded to tell me I got fat and expected my boyfriend to agree even kept going when I said to stop. The service is really good and the food came quickly. But that was about it.I ordered the combination Pho which every Vietnamese Pho restaurant offers. The rice noodle was not what I expected. It felt funny in my mouth even though the taste was the same.We also ordered the spring roll with shrimp. It was ordinary.The price was fair.Clothes smelled like the spices from the restaurant even the second morning.Would not recommend.

I was recommended this place by a friend whos lived here longer than me, and I was a little surprised to see the 4.0 rating (as of August 21) because the food was absolutely fantastic.The shaking beef and rice was stellar, with the sauce being a huge highlight. The filet was tender and the mushrooms, onions, and rice together with that beef made for a wonderful bite of food.We also got the 3-meat combo pho, which was flavored as expected with fine-quality meat. This was good, but the shaking beef put the meal over the top. I will definitely be back to try more dishes from this place.

Horrible service by Leo. You can tell he is very tired of working at the spectrum location. My soup order was done with only carrots and noodles and I said can I please get meat and right away he was very rude & said “You did not order that!” I said okay excuse me ?! This is the best pho I have ever had in my life. My niece brought me after a long day of studying and I ordered veggie pho with tofu and vegetables couldn’t believe it. The quality of food the taste of the soup the freshness of the vegetables and the amazing veggie egg roll the best of the best. I ate here with a couple of friends I met there from out of town, the food was good. Most likely this is best as take out as the facilities to dine in are small and a bit uncomfortable. The service was so-so and the appetizer was brought with my friends food and my meal took about an additional 10 minutes to be served.The price was fair for the amount of food per serving.

Fair at best - Not an authentic tasting Pho. Ordered a #11 Pho and a combination stirfry, vermicelli. Think #43. Pho soup had no flavor. Was not hot enough to separate meat and noodle. Stirfry had no flavor, dry and chewy. Staff however was polite and friendly. Sadly, Panda Express probably be a better choice.

I do not recommend this place. I have been here 3 times now because I do not like to judge a place just on one experience. The service here is awful, servers just look at their phones and do not pay attention to customers. I order veggie pho everytime and it comes out warm at best. The servers always forget something I order every time. The large portion is extremely small.I got a total of four pieces of tofu. I highly recommend going to another pho restaurant because it is just awful here.

Vietnamese Pho soup portions are enormously big. It is a very delicious and very unique Vietnamese soup that you should try at least once. Normally I am getting full with just half of it, so guys dont order too much until you see how big is it.

Service was slow. Food took a long time to show up. My pho bowl was there, but no plate with the usual sprouts, jalapeno, lime, mint? I had to ask twice and then get up and go to the counter to ask for it. My wifes plate was absolutely not edible. The skewers had the more horrible parts of the chicken and tasted almost like dog food. She didnt come anywhere close to eating half of her plate. The broth in my pho bowl was OK. The noodle was very hard. The rare steak was ok but had an odd flavor to it. We had to ask for the check three times. And the place was about 40% full.

When theres not very many other Pho choices are round, Pho Saigon Pearl is actually okay. The soup is good quality and flavorful, which for me is the most important part. However, for the price, you do get a little bit less food than places in Westminster (but this is expected). The mean quality in the filet minon is not very soft compared to many other places. However with that said, is probably some of the better pho in the Irvine area.

Got a bowl of pho, it was pretty sub par, the meat was low quality and badly trimmed, the noodles were sticking together and breaking apart, the flavor of the broth tasted like an instant packet not like authentic pho should taste. The guy next to us almost busted a tooth on a large bone they left in his food. I would look elsewhere for high quality pho.

The broth was okay, one of the pieces of meat was nasty (all fat and connective tissue) it was so hard and rubbery you could not eat it. When they came over to the table I mentioned it them and they did nothing. When paying for the meal they asked, how was everything I mentioned the meat (that was in 3 of our orders) and still did nothing... didnt even acknowledge the answer. Why ask if everything is ok? I wont be going back... So many Pho places, we just happened to be in the Spectrum.

I just went and ordered boba and it was seriously the worst boba I’ve every had. The servers were ok and they were kinda helpful but I think the actual Pho is good but if your going to go for boba don’t. Try something like tapioca express or tea station for great drinks.

Not only is this place dealicious its walking distance from where i work. So the convinced factor and the flalovrs are why i keep coming back. Like all Pho establishments they are alwasy very quick to have the food come out to you. But there is something about their broth that is to die for without even adding anything to it. They also have bomb dishes besides the traditonal pho. They have spring rolls that are one of the friesest rolls i have had in a long time.

I decided to go here for dinner yesterday and at the time of arrival The place wasn’t that busy and I had six people in my party. As usual I decided to put our name down for six people and after waiting about 15 minutes there was a new party that showed up with seven or eight people and they decided to sit them down before us while we were still waiting for our table. It seems that they only care about filling their seats and dont care about people that are waiting for their table. I probably would not eat at this place again.
