First time trying pho from this location and it was so delicious! We tried the Pho Ga and had a side order of Chen Banh Pho for my son and he loved it! There thai iced tea is really good too!✨👍🏽

Accidentally found this place on Google maps. I’ve tried this kind of food before and was ready to try it again.Place is old looking but its clean inside. MMy bowl of beef and noodle was ready in like 2 minutes which is greatBowl is huge, but its only an illusion. I ate the whole bowl even tho I dont eat much. The taste is really good. Not something goodlike but solid.For $8.50 its a good deal. The only downside is the customer service - the guy was rushing, was not that friendly eventually, eventho he was polite.Overall its a good place and I will come back again
The menu states it has a vegetarian pho option but when you try to order it the only options are beef or chicken broth as soup base options. Possibly the vegetable vermicelli is vegetarian but it could also have fish products in it? Its a locals favorite pho place so if youre not vegetarian it may be great!
Used to come here on a weekly basis to finish off the week. Some of the staff is super friendly and I can always get my pho fix here.
I always get the charbroiled pork with vermicelli noodles vegetables and pickled carrots and daikons. Great service. No tap to pay but you can directly zelle.
My family and I come here every Friday to eat the same exact bowl of soup--THATS how tasty it is here! They, of course, have quite a few other options on the menu, but we fell in love with the Pho Tai.The staff is always happy to see us and treats us like family. Service is always quick and efficient-the food and hospitality never fails to put a smile on our faces especially at the end of a grueling week.Thanks, guys, for always being something for us to look forward to each week!

They have quite a few people on staff so you shouldnt have any trouble getting someone to serve you.The food is prepared pretty fast here. If you ordered Pho, expect it to arrive at your table in less than 5 minutes. Other dishes, will taken a little longer to prepare. The taste of the food here is like any other Pho restaurants, nothing special or bad about it.The prices here are very affordable. It is average for Pho restaurants.
I love this place! The broth in their pho is so delicious!! Service is really fast and the prices are very reasonable. I got shrimp pho, Thai iced tea with Boba, and spring rolls for $23 and that includes taxes. I was full but didnt feel overly full when I was done. I would highly recommend this place and am going to check out their sister restaurant closer to my house.
The food is delicious, and I used to love going here since this location opened. The last several times I’ve gone though have been less than satisfactory. Missing food items, wrong orders... But it happens, right? Before and during the pandemic this happens. And I would check the food, but sometimes you can’t do that like when you’re using a delivery app. How is the carrier going to know to check it?But to tell your customers you’re open until 9:45pm [it’s online] just to close in their face at 9:01PM because “we decided to close at 9 ‘cause there was no traffic”? Really? You closed early... and stopped paying customers one minute after this early closure.If this is how you do business, I’ll take my money for my favorite food somewhere else. Hope no one else has experiences like this.
A local to the valley chain of pho and other Vietnamese food restaurant. We tried the #1 pho and was generally quite pleased with it. One small personal niggle is that the aromatics for the soup was quite heavy and the broth was a bit on the sweet side. But that’s a personal opinion. The restaurant itself is quite spacious and clean. The service was also impressively fast. Well worth a visit if you have a hankering for some Vietnamese food.
I was craving for some Vietnamese noodles. First time trying this place out. I asked for Dry thick rice noodles with beef & shrimps. Then I added the sweet sauce, Sriracha, Sambal, Hoisin sauce and about 1/2 of a lime.. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! LOLThe place is spacious, clean, somewhat busy with a few other small groups of people coming in to enjoy the food there and more people in and out for pick ups. Lots of parking spaces.Price is average, generous portions.Recommended for others!

It was my first time trying Pho So 1 and I liked my experience. The place is pretty big and clean, it is split up into one big room and a smaller room off to the left side. They have a few TVs on the walls to keep you entertained while you eat. Service is okay, and you get your food pretty quickly after you order it. I ordered Pho and a side of Spring Rolls and they were both delicious, I would say they were on par with my other favorite Pho joints.
I love this place they have such good food and prices to match. So many good thinks on the menu and not just Pho. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Please see the photos I posted for evidence.What happened to the quality of food at this place in the last month, from late August 2020 to mid-october 2020?If you asked me in August 2020, I would have given this place 4 stars, barely, for Lunch. But for some reason now, coming at Dinner time on October 2020, the quality of their food has gone downhill dramatically.First of all, theyre sad excuse for a spring roll is basically 90% lettuce, with three SLICES of shrimp on top. They dont even give you full shrimp! They take the shrimp and cut it in half, so basically youre only getting one and a half shrimp per spring roll.Wheres the carrots, wheres the stuff that usually goes in a spring roll? Instead, you get a bunch of romaine lettuce green leafy parts at the very end, that nobody usually eats anyway.And dont even get me started on # 50, which is described as stir-fried beef with lemongrass, rice vermicelli and vegetables. False advertising!Instead, I ordered number 50 from the menu, and got 80% sliced chicken, and 20% sliced beef. The vegetables were okay. The Taste was very sweet, like too sweet, but had NO lemongrass flavor whatsoever. I think thats misleading, and Im not afraid to say so.Whoever is reading this from their ownership or management team should take note!Im sorry, Im going to have to take my business somewhere else for good.
As usual we love the pho and the kids love the noodles. Service is ridiculously fast and a few minutes after you order a bowl of streaming pho is on your table. It always hits the spot on a cold night. I highly recommend!!
My family have tried coming here a few times. Every time we go in we do our best to be respecting and polite customers and enjoyed coming here because the food is good. But every time that we come in the workers for no reason at all give us attitude. Even over the littlest things they will roll their eyes, they’ll take extra long when we are the only people there, mess up our orders, and whenever we ask any favor no matter what they make it seem like it’s a big chore.
I am from Norcal, so my expectation for Pho can sometimes be unreal. Pho real. Although this place had pretty decent food, I felt the portion can be bigger, and soup can be hotter. I liked how the place is spacious, but food came a bit slower on the slower side. Overall, its just not a 4-star place for me... Will I come back again? Sure, if I am in the area...
Food quality has diminished and poor health & sanitation measures are evident whether you take out of dine in. Food has gotten so bad that after many years of eating here, 50% of the time we have been violently ill this past year. We will never go back.
This place is a mess. They gave me a knife for my pork chop but NOT clean - disgusting. Crew are NOT friendly - They care about their cell phone and texting and on the phone while customer are eating- None of them cameback to me IF i need anything else. FOOD NOT GREAT AT ALL.. I ASKED FOR MY CHECK - The lady wants me to get up and get the check at the front. NO TIP FOR THESE LAZY AND UNTIDY PEOPLE.
Ive been a patron since they opened. Although the pho beef broth is my favorite,it can tend to be inconsistent. Being perfect to me one day,to being a bit too rich and almost greasy another. And when the price of limes go up, they will substitute lemon, not a huge deal but...come on. Ive tried several of the entrees and while theyre good, I stick to the pho. The parking is a bit tight and can get crowded.
The soups are good, however customer care and service is absolutely atrocious. They wash the floors with fuming solution of chlorine and something else while people are eating. My eyes were stinging and we had to leave instead of enjoying our night out.
My favorite Pho restaurant. I come here almost weekly for one of my regular date nights and we always get two #1s! Great food, friendly staff, fairly priced. If youre in the area, this is the Pho place to go to...and I drive almost 20 miles a week for this - each way!

This authentic Vietnamese restaurant in West Hills actually serves better Pho then the ones on Reseda Blvd. Also serves the best, most potent Vietnamese drip iced coffee. The Grilled Chicken with slightly sweet fried rice was served along with what taste like premium soy sauce. Fried spring roll was also very good, as is the vermicelli with shrimp roll.
Yummm love their location in Van Nuys, discovered this location is even closer to us. Went in on Saturday night and place was half filled already, we were seated right away. Got our orders in and within 5 minutes, probably even less and our food is already out. Same menu and quality of food, will be back here again and again now that its pho weather

Not the best Pho Ive had but still yummy. The spring rolls werwe ok. The peanut sauce was very thin instead of thick and it was just ok. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent! I would go back again for pho and coffee but no apring rolls. The service was quick but go early on a week day for lunch cause it gets crowded.
I eat here with my best friend about once a month. The Number 1 Soup on the menu is my favorite because it has tripe/beef/rice in a salty broth. They also have an iced coffee with tapioca balls that is good.
Finally I found authentic, amazing Pho thats not a trek to drive to. As with all good pho the broth is where its at and their broth is unreal. Also not freakishly salty like so many pho places. Meat was tender, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The spring rolls were fantastic too. So happy to find this place.
Amazing service, the food comes quick, the staff is kind and respectful, the place could look more appealing (More paint to cover little paint holes) All in all, a very good place for a good priced, delicious meal! I have been going here for a year and I never get tired of it!
Love this place. I go every Sunday to watch football and eat a delicious Bun lunch. Unlike your average Vietnamese restaurant, this one is bright, clean, modern and spacious. The price are good too!!

This is our Pho restaurant in the SFV. Its good, fast and cheap. We put down our menus and our food will start coming out. Its important to us that the soup is hot enough to cook our bean sprouts; their soup is always piping hot!

This is the worse place Ive ever been!!! I ordered number 41 and I asked if there is/are meat in the said dish, and 2 waiters said, there is nothing in it except for shrimp paste and bean curd. I tried to explain that Im also a PESCETARIAN thats why i asked about it. So I continue eating it until I feel so weird that I knew something is not right, so i asked another guy and he is one of the chef and he confirmed it that there was a PORK in that order. So I got mad and they just said that they are very sorry. Ive been pescetarian for over 3 years and I cannot digest meat in my body. Before I got home I went to get hot tea from Starbucks due to my tummy hurting, indigestion and feeling bloated.

This is my girlfriend n Is go to pho spot in the valley. I order Tai Chin Nam with extra meat and my partner gets the Pho Bo Kho with less fat. Food is usually served within 5 minutes of ordering, service is great, food is fresh and the prices are amazing.

Possibly the worst pho ever. I have had better pho than this. Has Pho So 1 changed since I last dined at the van nuys and reseda locations? I think as it brands out more new pho shops, the broth gets worser and the pho is horrible. Not to mention the service is lousy. I have had better service and worst pho before.. but having both.. is no bueno. I would definitely stay away from here. I came here only because I had a hour lunch break and to save some driving time, I thought it be best to come here. NOPE!!! wrong!!! I would drive a bit further to places like Pho CT to get something to-go than come to pho so 1. horrible. you just lost a great customer. I love my pho to the fullest!!

I was charge twice on my order back in March of 2022 and I attempted to contact the restaurant and they told me someone will call me back and nothing. People that works there are rude and unprofessional, food is just ok nothing special.
I called in a #17 and specifically asked if that had thinly sliced beef, they said yes. Get it home and theres only a broken styrofoam cup leaking my broth in the bag. Burned my hands and no meat, noodles or anything! Just broth! Laziness!

The foods are good, we were the regular customer, but the customer service is so awful, last night we were there, we ordered one soup with extera noodle like allways, because we cant eat lot of soup, but they charged us 2 soup, even we needed another spoon, Because the spoon fell to the ground, but they said we cant bring you another spoon, that was so rude customer service, they loos their regular customer, they even dont know english well, and many times they dont understand what do you want exactly, Im really sorry for their bad customer services.

2023-10-11 19:27:38The pho here is solid and it’s my family’s fave place for pho. But their broken rice plates and vermicelli is always tasty! I like getting the shaking beef with crispy noodles instead of rice. Service is always fast and the restaurant is generally clean.

2023-07-03 17:46:03The place is great and food is great too, but service and atmosphere SUCKS! They dont come around often and the place stinks and has flies all over it sadly. I used to live close by and would come often. Their pho is great, comes out fast and piping hot.. the cooks usually gather at a table and eat and servers just sit there lol and watch customers.. dont really come and ask if you need anything else. This place has good prices, good food and drinks, but service needs to be amped up.

2023-08-19 22:01:42Always amazing to go after the gym or whenever you feel like a quick bite. The service is amazing, you just sit down and order and in less than 12 minutes you are eating your dish. This does not mean the quality is bad, no matter what you order it will always be amazing with a reasonable price. If you are looking to sit down for longer than people you can talk to that work there they have many stories about living in Vietnam. I have been here dozens of times and I would not have it any other way. My favorite would definitely be one of the best stew dishes or the lemon grass stir fry dishes.

Ordered Mi Dac Biet ( shrimp, imitation crab, slice pork and beef ball with egg noodles soup) and Pho Ga ( chicken rice noodles). Loved the food, but as time was near to closing, they were taking out trash and cleaning the kitchen, so it was loud.

2022-06-22 16:49:21Such an amazing Pho place and I cant wait to come back again. I stopped by this Pho So 1 because I was in the area and craving pho. I came here right when they open so they were not busy. I was able to choose where I wanted to sit and the waitress give me the menu. I got their #1 pho soup (special combo with steak, flank, tendon and tripe) and it basically came out like a minute later. The pho soup was so good and they give you a lot of meat with it. You dont get as much noodles but its enough to let you finish the meat. I was able to get the parking spot in front of the restrauant since no one was there yet. The service I received here was also good, I didnt have any issues.

2022-10-19 21:39:27Good broth and decent portion size. Good service. Overall would call it: Good. Cant justify 5 stars, as there are certainly pho places in the area that take it up to the next level in my opinion. But a solid, standard experience nonetheless. Most certainly finished my bowl

2023-04-30 03:12:16Taste was good but everything was premade and not fresh. I ordered rare steak pho and it came not only fully cooked but OVER cooked.Shrimps are also not fresh, frozen shrimps heated up.The spring rolls were all stuck together and hard to separate.

2023-04-17 18:41:22My Fiancé Loves This Place! There Pho Soup 🍲 is His Favorite. I myself tried it because He Orders it Once a Week lots of times and Its always Very Good. AND theyre Service is fast, kind, and reliable. The Menu is Wonderful. Very Excited 😊 to try New Dishes. & they are Clean!
