Lived in OC all my life and thought I’ve been to all the restaurants here. But today was an eye opener. It’s a Pho restaurant but has the best bánh cuốn in town. Made fresh and puts all the other bánh cuốn restaurant to shame.

This is a supposed to be an authentic Pho restaurant that was originally from Saigon, Vietnam. They are famous with their Pho and Banh Uot. We found the Pho was OK, not too bad but not a wow using the original Vietnamese pho standards. The Banh Uot was really good. The portion was not as much as other places but the taste was better. The restaurant is quite large and has many inside seats. Plenty of parking spaces. This is a handicap friendly facility.

Horrible Service! I took my kids with me and ate here. The lady who served didnt say hello and no smiling at all. The kids didnt finish the noodle soup. It didnt taste good. We finished eating without giving us water. I have to go to their counter to ask them water. They dont allow customer to use the restroom too. No wonder they dont have customers eating when we came in. Horrible! Im not coming back here again. Dont ever eat here! You will be disappointed only.

First and last time I go to this restaurant. The worst Pho Ive ever had. The broth tasted like old dish water. I was really hungry apon arrival, but still couldnt eat the food. I could never be hungry enough to eat here.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Banh Cuon is okay-ish. Pho is below average even with American Pho standards. The broth was very bland, like one Chicken Phos broth added water for two bowsI think this restaurant follows Hanoi style because they were super rude and treated you like you were some hobo begging for their food instead of a customer, and they are the only place selling food in the area.

I was surprised. I thought pho Tau Bay was suppose to be huge bowl of Pho. Their Tau Bay was only regular size as other place. And the price for two bowl of Pho was $27. He said if I pay card, I get charged another 15% which was another $4 on top of that $27. I eat Pho many places but this first time I encountered such place. This was my first time and is my last.

The staff are friendly and fast. I love banh cuon with shredded pork. Their fish sauce is not too salty, works great with the dish. I recommend trying that other than pho though.

Excellent banh cuon and very consistent. Also, this is one of the few places that I can ask for less condensed milk in the ca phe sua da, since for my taste, the default sweetness level almost everywhere just seems too sweet. They use a traditional phin filter for brewing each serving, rather than pouring from a pre-mixed brew like many other places.

5 stars for good food, and 1 star for dishonesty. When paying we were told that the credit card machine was broken. Its funny how its been broken for several years now; it must be a really stubborn machine. We were suggested to go next door to withdraw cash from an atm. Im truly dissapointed that they couldnt own their own words and instead say theyre cash only. I wouldve been okay with that too because of the honesty, but they had to lie about it. You guys need to be better than dishonest.

This place only good for steamed rice pancake but the beef noodle is no good so I only order the steamed rice pancake. Last week I came and ordered the special steamed rice pancake then the watress put down wrong ordered of the special beef noodle and blamed I order it. The service like that will loosing customer and I am the one.

Ive not eaten phở here for a couple years now. Recently took family here and quality has immensely deteriorated. The only thing left to order here is bánh cuốn. Cashier lady was so uncourteous as in most other Vietnamese food places. Will not cone back.

I love their handmade rice-paper more than their pho. Their service is very good; I came here with my family just few minutes before they close, but they still bring us in and wait for our long late dinner.The store is clean, not modern but more cleaner than another common Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants.

Crowded place ..hustle and bustle..very good banh cuon I think ..pho decent ( I am very picky with pho) . Banh cuon serving size has gotten smaller than previously. The dipping sauce sometimes is a little salty. The star work hard. This is one of those Binh Dan place ( mom and pop). Nothing fancy. No bells or whistle. U Will wait for a table on most days. Cash preferred but credit card accepted . Parking can be a challenge. I call a head to order and take out.

Its call a pho place, but a majority of customer, including ourselves go there for banh cuon, rice crepes with pork or w/o and they are delicious. In fact this is the togo place whenever we have Vietnamese guest from San Jose come to visit. Its that good or authentic like something you would tasted in Vietnam

We went there for lunch and Im glad someone brought me. Their banh cuôn dac biet is simply delicious (#4 on the menu!). I think its their signature dish, by far. The rice crepes are fresh, soft and hot, obviously steamed to order; the meat & mushroom filing is generous; the shallots and veggies are crispy; the sauce brings a final touch of spicy/salty/sweet. They are also not skimpy on the garnishes (soy beans, herbs, etc) - everything is provided with your meal. They have another type called banh uot - essentially similar rice crepes without filling, and I hear their pho is also very good, but my recommendation is really #4. Now, every time I see banh cuon, Im reminded of this place, which says a lot. You dont come here for the decor; its all about taste and flavors.

The price is a bit steep. I havent tried the pho, so I cant comment. The location is a bit hidden, parking is little but not a problem.The portion looks hefty but actually quite small and thin in size, both the meatloaf and the rice cake. Gotta order at least 2 plates per person, and the price is not that great for such a small portion like that. I have not tried the Pho so cant comment on it. Location is quite off the main road, little parking spots but its not a deal breaker.
