The place is small. I ordered the pho and vermicelli bowl. Its ok. The pho broth is light in flavors so good for beginners. I didnt really like the pho noodle itself because it is soft and mushy so when you eat it, it kinda feels like it melts in your mouth. I think its a good place for anyone who has never tried Vietnamese food.The vermicelli bowl was ok. It does have more flavors and safe for beginners.

The foods are very tasty. It is not very costly. The quantity is also great. The pho was excellent and tastes well.They have a few people to run the serving. So don’t expect a quick turnaround. I felt like a home where you don’t expect someone to welcome you to eat but after that the food and the food service was great.You can go again for the tasty food.The restrooms are also clean.

I loved the pho, my wife said vermicelli salad was too salty and dry. High energy, nice folks working. We’ll be back to try some of the other stuff they are cooking.

I’ve been meaning to go back and try more items on the menu before deciding to make a review, but haven’t been able to. This is the first review and I’ll come back and update as I go.When I saw this place I decided to drop by because of the banh mi sign. Ordered two more items on top of that. The egg rolls were good. The taste wasn’t bad and the egg rolls were nice and crispy. Next was the sandwich, and I was so disappointed after the first bite. It was sweet and it was more greasy fat than actual meat. There were meat I can see that, but the amount of fat on those meat overwhelmed everything else. It was an expensive sandwich and I force myself to finish it. As for the rice plate, it the same meat from the sandwich so it was sweet on top of an even sweeter sauce.It could be that is a different type of banh mi sandwich, I tired and it not anywhere near what I’m used to so I was disappointed.To be fair the foods aren’t bad, just that it’s not to my liking. I’m giving it 2.5-3 because of the likelihood of me going back.

Delicious, flavorful, filling, and satisfying food. Daughter got the chicken fried rice, spouse got the chicken egg rolls vermicelli dish, and I got the pho 101. We all enjoyed our food. Portion size was perfect. Plenty of food. We all went home stuffed. A little high with prices, but it was worth it. Customer service was also excellent! There were a lot of older sweet men working there. Thoroughly enjoyed it here and will be coming back.

AMAZING STAFF AMAZING FOOD!! I love pho soup and I came here because it’s right next door to one of my favorite boba shops and I got the seafood pho… DELICIOUS! Staff is super nice and food is hot and fresh. This is my 4th or 5th time coming!

Food was a bit overpriced. The pho soup was we had had too much oil and fat. Server wasnt really able to communicate well. We ordered a dish and then later asked about it and he said they didnt have it. Did really lime having a fan blowing air at us. Would like to have some air-conditioning going.

We ordered a veggie pho and a flank steak pho for to-go on their online ordering system. The order was ready fast and the food was hot. Flavors were great for both broths and the portions were large. We both ate until we were full and each had enough leftovers for another meal. Luckily the to-go bowls are high quality, leak proof, and microwaveable for our leftovers. The prices are competitive and I am pleased with the portion sizes. I give 5 stars for the flavor, good service, clean restaurant and also that they offer a good vegetarian pho, which is sometimes hard to find.

First time customer, and it was amazing. Never had Vietnamese food before, and our waiter helped us pick dishes. The Shaking Beef was so tasty. Chicken Pho soup was tasty. The soup had an excellent depth of flavors. We will definitely return.

Originally from the Bay and Pho is life for me and I try to eat Pho everyday. Your restaurant is close by my house, thought I give it a try... I came hungry, I left hungry. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!!YOUR PHO AINT GREAT!! Your proportions are wayyyyyyyyy too small man! No excuses!! 3 slice of paper thin meat, 2 meatballs and 2 bites of rice noodles for 17 bucks is overpriced!Your response below is uneducated and I dont know that person who posted that. Inflation does not mean, you give less... Other Pho restaurants are not doing this and thats why theyre constantly busy... I love pho. This place not so much. Very highly priced for very small portions. Be warned, youll come in hungry and leave hungry still. Unless your willing to pay more for extra noodle & meat.So many better options especially price wise.& The pho is decent..

The food is okay but the 5 star rating is for customer service, even though they close at 8:30 I called at 8:31 for pickup order and they were kind enough to take my order and get is ready in 5 minutes. My kids really wanted pho that day.Thank You....

Service good & food has an authentic taste, but really not kidding the portions were very small for the price. My spouse & I ordered the large pho, it was more like a small pho & ordered the pork chop with rice, egg & shrimp that was small portioned as well. Won’t be going back unless other pho places are closed & had major cravings.

I ordered from here blindly, I didnt read a single review until after I ordered, my normal pho spot is closed Sundays and I was having a hard core craving. So a Google map search and here I am! I ordered online and the process is very easy, I purchased chicken Pho and BBQ pork, both are delicious!! The broth is amazing 👏 but the shining star is the food takeout system, they have everything perfectly portioned in probably the largest take out bowls Ive ever seen! All the toppings are in their own separate baggy and the broth is HOT! so be careful. Another great note, I poured my broth into the plastic bowl and had MORE broth left over. Best thing ever! But definitely a great choice! Inside was also very clean and tidy 😁

Absolutely delicious pho! A lot of choices of different types of meats available. The broth is hearty and tastes of beef bone broth. Also, try the Vietnamese coffee, it is so so good! I had the #30 which is sirloin, flank steak, brisket.You can also ask for recommendations on how to prepare your bowl and what the different spices and garnishes are on your side plate.The restaurant is Very Clean. I sat at a wide side table and the table is freshly wiped down, the chairs back rest where you pull it out from the table is clean and shows no grime or residue from previous customers. The wall beside my table is clean and shows no yucky stuff. All the condiments on the table are freshly wiped down and not sticky.Really nice comfortable environment to relax and eat in peace.Thanks Pho Viet 101! We will be returning most definitely!

First Id like to say that this shop doesnt have the widest of selections, but it does focus on taste and the food it offers are very delicious. Tried the seafood pho and their special pho. Both were very delicious full of flavor. Only complaint would be the service. They were a bit slow to the draw but overall the experience was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you would like some delicious pho in an intimate setting.

I dont know where these other reviewers have been eating at, but this food is mediocre at best. I am used to Vietnamese sandwiches and soup from the Bay Area to San Jose and LA, and have tried every shop advertised here when i hear about it trying to replace what ive lost. The pate and veggies in this sandwich didnt taste fresh, and the sandwich didnt taste authentic. The broth for the pho ga (chicken) wasnt as flavorful. I guess I will have to keep driving to fresno off the 41 for sandwiches until someone hits the mark in Clovis.

When is the female waitress my large pho is small. But when the guy waitress large pho is larger. If my girl can finish large then its not large its small. Have to buy large for both so I can eat some of my girl pho too. Not enough for the price and for both.

- Chicken dishes were meh- Beef is okay but nothing crazy+ Pork is good+ Pho is good (no matter your choice)+ Vermicelli is good+++ Fried Egg Rolls are amazing+ Lemongrass beef and jalapeño with rice is not the most exotic special but it’s still consistently good that I recommend+++ Lemonade is the freshest made to order++ They have Coke AND Pepsi by the can+ Decor is better than average for the areaPros heavily outweigh the cons. I eat here regularly to get out of the home office. It’s not a gourmet Viet place but it’s solid and consistent and it’s easy to get a table for lunch.Bonus: next to RareTea for delicious treat afterward

I purchased the shrimp eggrolls, chicken fried rice and a large bowl of pho (beef). Shrimp eggrolls were the size of my pinky finger and they left shell on the shrimp smh. The chicken fried rice was bland and chicken breast was dry. My so called large beef bowl of pho was actually very small. Big bowl lots of broth nothing else. Will not come back.

Being born and raised in San Jose and then moving to Clovis, I had 2 major concerns. The biggest of the 2 was, will the pho taste as good as the restaurants in San Jose. The answer was sadly NO. For the first year of living here, we actually drove back to San Jose to eat pho on the weekends. The closest pho that was decent that was 30 minutes away in a sketchy area of Fresno. It wasnt worth the drive. THANKFULLY, Pho Viet 101 opened up in the neighborhood!! The pho is legit and the drive is now only 10 minutes! Thank you for opening up in the neighborhood!!!

Since this business is not willing to respect the local noise ordinance laws for mixed residential, you are getting 1 star. The Property management has been notified with proof that your staff and other businesses near you failed to respect your surrounding residents by constantly yelling across the back parking lot, slamming trash gates and leaving them wide open causing the many windy nights to constantly slam them back and forth. I will be happy to remove this review once I see these issues addressed.Reply to owner: the music is from your staff in their cars that hang out in back of the businesses for an hour.

I’ve had pho all over the US. Some places don’t give you much, are too pricey or just don’t have the distinctive flavor that good pho has, but this place does a great job on all fronts. It’s also clean and fairly well-decorated. Worth a visit!

If I could say zero stars I would Do not eat here! They don’t abide the law! They refused me and my service dog! Steve the owner wasn’t there to speak to. I told the employee it was the law and tried to show him the ADA law regarding service animals. She is my alert/mobility dog and needs to be with me all the time! When I get the chance I will be reporting to the Dept. of Justice on the refusal according to ADA law!! Please DO NOT eat at this establishment!

I came and sat down only to be ignored by the workers here.. im absolutely horrified of coming here again now.. it really sucks because they were just walking right past me and handing people menus while I hadn’t even been given one or greeted or anything at all. Hello have been to this restaurant twice, one at night time and one at the day time. I recommend going night time because the service is a lot better. The restaurant has delicious food, but when it gets half packed, it seems to slow down very much!

Use to be my regular place, but last 2 times I’ve ordered to go, the broth was cold. I didn’t think anything of it first time, and figured it was a minor mistake. After this time, I called and was told the broth doesn’t come warmed anymore, that you do it yourself when ordering to go. Never was like that before and never heard of any place doing this. Last time I go here.
