I recently had a bowl of Vietnamese pho at pho viet, and it was a delightful experience. The pho was not only tasty but also served piping hot, which I appreciated. The service was fast and efficient, making it a great choice for a quick and satisfying meal. The only minor drawback is that the place could use some updating, but the delicious pho more than compensates for it. A solid choice for a satisfying meal!

The food is delicious. I ordered what I want, but the waitress told me they out of the current supply, then point me to switch a different meat, I asked her ”is it the same price with the regular order?” She said yes. However, the cashier charged me extra because of swapping item. I paid full price they charged me and plus 15% tips. Base on they lied on customer, they should worth for $0.01.

We used to come here a lot. The quality of the food still seems good. But the quantity sure is smaller. For the large bowl they still give you a big bowl but the amount of noodles and meat is very small. Mostly soup. I kind of expect more for $16.

Excellent Pho Ga! If you love chicken noodle soup or youre feeling under the weather, it always hits the spot for me! They never overcook the noodles and the chicken isnt dry like some other pho places. Broth is fragrant too.I have also tried the Bun Tom Nuong (BBQ Shrimp with Vermicelli Noodle). The shrimp is good and its a decent portion for the price. The noodles are bit too firm for my liking though.The staff are really friendly and efficient. They can grow really busy on weekdays during lunch, so get here before noon to beat the rush!

I work right down the street and this is my go-to spot even when theres hot whether they keep the place nice and cold so you can enjoy your warm soup I already have my go to number 10 and they bring the food out super quick too which I love when I only have a 30 minute lunch

This place is always packed at lunchtime on weekdays. Its much quieter for dinner. They accept debit cards, no minimum. Wait time for dinner is within the first 5-10 minutes. Clean tables, doesnt stink, floors arent sticky. The meatball pho is something I come back for but they do have dry dishes (not soupy), too, like rice noodle plates.

Its alright here, came here about 40 minutes before they were closing on a Monday night and there werent any others in the restaurant. They were pretty quick with the service. Typical pho, you can get small or large sized bowls. The decor is completely in lime green which is a bit quirky.

I love this location, food is great, and the service is awesome. Fast and filling. The small bowl is pretty large in my opinion. I love the night time waitress, she greets and remember what I like. By far one of THE BEST PHO RESTAURANTS in San Jose!! I have been going to Pho Viet for nearly twice a week, if not more for the past 2 years. I have tried a lot of Pho places in the area but what sets them apart is how well they make their Pho (Both their broth and meat are so savory and delicious!), their affordable yet generous portions and their amazing service!! I always order the #1 (Spring Rolls), a large #15 and a side of meat balls to add to my pho for less than $25. The food here is so good that you almost feel like it was home made. It feels like your meal was cooked not for the masses but for just you and made with love. I would highly and gladly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

Visited this place yesterday and we ordered combination Pho and Spicy beef rice noodle. The broth of Pho was very light and the quality of beef in it was low quality. The beef in spicy beef noodle soup was so tough, I had to break it apart sideways first with my front teeth and then try to chew it. Almost like I ordered beef jerky noodle soup. Total bill came about $40. I wouldnt say this is a cost-effective place to eat. There are other Pho places in town and we wont go back again.

Good Pho - I really enjoyed the broth of the beef pho. Very adequate, no-frills service like you might expect at an authentic Viet restaurant. They were, however, already visibly closing at 7:30pm when we arrived, despite having an official closing time of 9pm on a Friday. No music in the place, so its dead quiet unless someone is talking or utensils are clattering. Chairs were flipped to the top of tables and some lights turned off before closing time arrived. If that makes you feel rushed as a customer, youre not alone. I might come back, but only for lunch or for take-out.

It’s a good place for Vietnamese food! Great location and delicious food. We arrived in San Jose on Saturday around 8a and needed to find a good Pho place after an early flight. This restaurant is close to SJC airport and open in early hours. Pho bowls were hot and delicious at 8:05am!

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. Ive only been to fairly upscale dinner type Vietnamese restaurants before this, and enjoyed that food very much, but the food here was terrible. The soup dishes come with lots of extras like basil and bean sprouts, but they arent washed and mine had a large bug in it. I wasnt enjoying the food before this discovery, so this completely ruined my appetite. Very disappointing.

When Im craving pho, this is the place to go!Bowls are large and the soup is savory! You can taste the flavor in the soup.I usually get the special beef pho, which comes with a wide variety of meats.This place does get busy during lunch time and you may experience longer than usual wait times, so I suggest you go a little bit before 11:30 to beat the lunch rush.

Went for lunch so it was busy, but the staff worked vigorously to get people seated. I was sat within 5 minutes. My Vietnamese crispy rolls came out really fast and werr super hot, exactly how I like them. They were tasty as well. I ordered Pho Ga (chicken pho with white meat). It came with fresh veggies and the right amount. The broth was delicious! If I had to give it a critique it would be that I wanted to switch seats, because I was right by the door and I was cold. I saw an empty table and politely asked the waitress if I could move. She yelled at me NO! That is a table for 5 people! I told here I was just asking and there was no need to snap like that. She applogiezed and moved me to a seat across the room. I forgive her, it is a stressful environment. Tips: They take creditcard. Parking us packed and hard to find at lunch. I will definitely go back.

I wish I could give them more stars, but they get one for false advertisement. First off, we called to clarify something on the menu and spoke to a rather rude lady. I then ordered number 40, which is the seafood pho. I ordered it because it had real crab in the picture. I got imitation crab sticks instead. This wouldn’t be an issue, but I have a food allergy and is why I ordered based off their depiction. It was decent pho, but there is definitely better out there. You can tell they cut corners with cheaper ingredients, also sure they use MSG.

This restaurant is located at the strip mall on the corner of north first street and Trimble. It is very near to my office and we usually go there for lunch, at least once a week.The restaurant has all the markings of one that serves an office crowd. Ensure that you come in here early, to beat the lunch rush (usually starts at 12 PM). As soon as you come in, you can be seated either inside or outside. Even during cold weather, they have these gas heaters which make outside seating bearable. The menus have every item numbered, so you can just tell the waitress/waiter the number of the dish and the size. For example, 31 small is the vegetarian pho with yellow noodles and it comes in small or large size.The pho itself is well done. There are enough condiments on the table to spice it up, if it is a little bland for once taste. You get two chopsticks and one spoon to eat the pho (you can ask for additional silverware if you want). Once you are done, the waitress lets you pay your bill using a square at your table. They are ready to split the check by the number of people at the table, which is really nice of them.Overall we are in and out under 30 min with a fully satisfied meal. What else can one hope from such a place.

Delicious soup from the broth to the noodles and veggies it is definitely a top notch meal. They offer white rice or yellow egg noodles with vegetable, chicken or beef broth and choice of meat or veggies. I get veggies in the chicken broth with white rice noodles.
