I came to try my Rare Steak Phõ with the Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls. The Spring Rolls were very good though it was a thicker rice paper then Im use to and it was a perfect peanut butter sauce.The flavor was good here and I was happy with that but so far out of the places I have been they gave me the least amount of noodles and steak. The service was pretty good though I waited a little to order. It was lightning fast to get my order though. They did there best to make my dinning experience a good one.

The pho ga was ok - just a little bland. I appreciated the fresh carved chicken pieces. Veggie pho is very bland and the veggies taste like it frozen veggies. It was definitely clean eats, but coming from LA, Ive definitely had better Vietnamese food. Everyone is very nice and theres a cool fish tank inside.

Hear is a great place to grab a quick filling meal. I had the #16 Rare steak Pho and it was perfect exactly what I needed to fill me up and get me back out there. The service was fast and food was fresh. I got the tea and it’s really good not sweeten but it dos t need it. I gave it 4 stars slot because the vibe just need refreshing but it’s a perfect place and I would bring friends and family here to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food.

I’ve been coming here for years. Service is super fast. Staff is courteous.Springs rolls are amazing, peanut sauce is so delicious, egg rolls, chicken phö(with the ginger sauce and chili oil), veggie phö, everything we’ve tried exceeds expectations. We will always be loyal customers of Phö Vinh.

Easily the worst Vietnamese place I have ever been. I went there yesterday before the Padres game for the first and now last time, and had the chicken curry. The curry was more like a soup, very watery and I am not sure it was chicken that was in my plate. The Thai tea wasnt even sweet, very diluted. My brother had pork rice vermicelli and had the runs the next day. We both didnt even try to finish the dishes. The service is no better. Stay away from this place for your own good.

Everything is good.Pho? Solid. A little less flavor but good. The vermicelli with beef? Pretty good. Beef has some wok-hei flavor and tastes quite good.Overall, 4 star represents its reputation rather well. Note this is based on one review at 8pm on a Friday night (And based on my pho experiences in Houston and Nola).

Every Pho in the world is different. This one is good. Not my favorite because that is somewhere else but maybe this place is someone else’s favorite and this just occurred to me. The wonderful thing about Pho is its uniqueness in a world of chain restaurants.

Great chicken soup/pho all the springs rolls are delicious. All most everything they serve is good. Very pleasant workers but also distant if you need extra water or anything youll have to ask because they wont come back around to ask if youd like anything else. Other than that great eats

Love the food here. The crispy fried spring rolls were flaky perfection!Condiment platters are generous. Thai basil and mint leave were very fresh. Prices have gone up some, but that is everywhere. Exactly what you expect from a pho joint. Service is prompt and friendly. Place isnt fancy, but it is very clean, and booths are roomy and comfy. A large party was arriving as we left. Their table for 20 was ready and waiting. I may host my next bday here.

I love this place. It delicious. I always have the #4 that comes with all the meats. Its a huge portion and very well priced. Staff is always SUPER NICE!!! Be sure to grab a Thai Tea Boba for the ride home!

The food is always good. I get the #22 I believe its the chicken noodle soup. The staff is friend polite and the service is great. We went in for Mexican Mothers day, 9 were in our group and everything went well as usual. And they made sure we had everything we needed. Happy with the service here.

The food is great, specially the veggie menu. I have been going there for years, I discovered the place thru my mom then I took some friends and they took their families and their families their friends and so on. Sometimes their attitudes are not the best but the food is and the people in the kitchen are very friendly, prices are affordable and the peanut sauce is so damn delicious.

Would not recommend. Poor service and the portion size is ridiculously small. Just picked up dinner and purchased two large soups and ordered a side of extra noodles - while the soup size was okay the $3 side of noodles were a half of a small take out container. I asked why it was so tiny and the woman behind the counter babbled on about how it was the right size .

Finding parking here is a challenge. I rarely give poor ratings unless its deserved. It feels very unwelcoming to walk into a restaurant and be asked Can I help you? in that condescending tone were all familiar with. Last I checked people only go into restaurants to eat but maybe I should wear a suit and tie next time so I wont look like a homeless person. I imagine everyone else was asked how many people?. Aside from that, the waiter was completely disinterested and the beef with rice meal I ordered was simply ok. Not giving a one star because this was my first time and their other menu items might be better.

I love it ! the owner is this old Vietnamese man that has probably been there for a long time, nice man. every other week my family and I go here, its our favorite regular pho place. try the Thai tea boba, its bomb !

Today is April 23rd and I usually dont do review but I think is good for the owner to know what is going on in the business. Food is good but the customer service is BAD I had to stand up and ask for a box for to go because after you get the food no one ever ask if you need something else even at the time we where 3 tables only, their faces where long with a mad looking, I did received a single smile. Not coming back sorry.

SNOT ROCKET STORY READ THIS!!!Saw this guy who seemed to be the owner walked into the back to get my to-go order and as soon as he pushed the swinging kitchens door opened and entered the kitchen I glimpsed inside as the doors swung back open as he passed inside opening just enough that I could see him cover one nostril with his hand and blow a fat SNOT ROCKET!!!! I ordered from here via Doordash. I ordered the rare steak and brisket pho and an iced coffee. Coffee was great! And the meats and noodle to broth ratio sent to me was nice. My only complaint is that the broth was extremely greasy. I ordered pho becuae Im getting sick and wanted something with good broth while staying home. I couldnt finish the broth, which sucks seeing as I ordered specifically for it. There seemed to be 1/8 of an inch of grease sitting on top of the broth container sent to me. Highly disappointing.

I have been one of their customers for years and their food is still delicious, though recently I tried one of their fruit smoothies (green apple) and it was the sweetest thing ever, not that there is anything wrong with that only it was so sweet it didnt even taste natural, not even like fruit, but aside that it is the best restaurant to go to if you are looking for a delicious plate of vietamies food, I really dont have a favorite they are all delicious and also their boba teas, or buble teas. One thing that might bother you if you are new is that you really need to speak very clear when ordering something, even pointing at the menue might help, otherwise they might get your order mixed up other than that the food is defenetly worth it.

First of all I appreciated how fast service was, I was seated and made my order in 5 min, and maybe 2 min later a steaming bowl of well done brisket and fatty flank was in my vision. I also ordered a BBQ pork Bahn Mi and a espresso w/ condensed milk on ice.1) Pho steaming, hot but not scolding, great broth, just the right salt and flavor, and I could taste hints of my meats. No hoisin or sriracha needed but when added still worked well. meat was tender and flavorful, yummy fatty flak with just a bit of chew. I have been eating here since they first opened many years ago. Honestly I have tried dozens of other Pho restaurants because I love pho. Ive only been eating pho since 1987. Thats Over 30 years. Today I refuse to eat pho anywhere else. I would drive 15 miles to eat pho here when there are dozens other pho places near here in kearney mesa some even walking distance. I have been disappointed far too many times. Every one of them fail to make flavorful pho soup. Even the restaurants that specializes only in Pho doesnt make it this good by far. Not even comparable. You may get lucky sometime and get something barely eatable but most of the times you will be disappointd and vow that you will never go to another Vietnamese restaurant because most of the are awful. Pho vihn has consistently made their soup so flavorful and delicious right down to the last drop. Try the pho tai soup. I like my meat well done so I always ask them to put the meat in hot water so they get cooked instead of getting raw meat in my soup which does get cooked after a few minutes but it clouds up my soup and I like mine clear. I have been going to this place since I discovered some years ago. The flavor of Pho is just right, with the predominant beef flavor. Not to floral or heavy spiced. Vegetation served with the soups is always fresh and crisp. the casual ambiance makes for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Order the spring rolls made out of rice paper with shrimp and smoky meat inside, dipped in the peanut sauce are a great way to start the meal. Their Jazmine Ice tea is one of my favorites. Their hot skillet beef and the banana blossom salads are just couple of their specialties. Easy spot for good pho in Chula Vista. Has a section of the menu specific for vegetarian options, including a veggie pho with vegetable broth. Service was good and tofu spring rolls were absolutely delicious. Vegetarian pho was okay, but the rare steak pho was the better option.Street parking available in front.
