PHO1 Noodle House in Vallejo

Good place for Pho. Usually order the #1 Beef pho. Also, a good place for a rice place (Combo plate #47). Clean. Safe. Good parking. The service is quick and food is always great.Update: 03/18/2023New Server(s). Took order wrong. Servers needs to verbally repeat order back to guests for confirmation before placing order. We also notice the table next to us also received their order incorrectly. Just a learning phase. Food & service are still great!Note: We noticed the store lable was still on the lemon wedge. Perhaps they didnt have time to clean and/or rinse today (pic attached) 🤷‍♂️?08/12/2023:Back for the uMmmteenth time...tonight, we had the #36 (Beef Stew HoFun)Large, Chicken Noodles (Large) & Beef Cubes over rice...and durian smoothie with Boba...we kinda made the restaurant smell like durian, but the overwhelming pho fragrance quickly override the durian smell. All in all, another great visit. Thank you again Pho 1!✊️

We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable on their dishes. Offered great recommendations on what to order when asked. Dishes arrived within a few minutes of ordering, lightning fast. All pho was delicious, same for the garlic noodles and egg rolls. Everything was very good.

A great place. not as super fantastic as other comments here suggest. food certainly delicious. I got #1 Pho. Easy on the meat and the broth was fine but not excellent with lots of flavor, just a broth, kinda flavorless. We got also a pork dish, same here easy on the meat with a boatload of rice, great flavor. Water seems to be unfiltered with some chlorine flavor. Overall an authentic place, many guests but not 5 stars. When paying for your food one has to wait in line for the one cashier.

Delicious and affordable pho. Impressed at the quality, and amount of white meat chicken. Will be back

Another place that did not meet my expectations based from finding this joint on five star google reviews.Solely based on the quality of food.The shrimp on my order was over cooked with that super fishy, stinky taste of spoiled or bad shrimp. The pork chop was also over cooked and so dry that he didn’t even bother eating it. Almost to the point where it could have been a jerky.Service was good and they currently have out door seating.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Good service, good prices. So glad they open earlier than some other pho restaurants.

The food is good. The restaurant is airy, looks very clean. Had a misunderstanding with out server when I was making a payment. It was wireless payment handheld device and i tapped the device the receipt came out unreadable. I did not make any selections so i cant really see what Im paying for clearly since it did not require my signature. I asked my server about what i paid for and how about the tip? He said i tipped a dollar but i still wanted to see the receipt. He said he was surprised how fast i did it so i said i did not do anything maybe he did. All this while Im simultaneously telling my mom to not give me cash. So the server leaves and returns with $4 and leaves it on the table. So i asked him what that was. He said he does not want to argue with as he does not get paid any tips by the restaurant. So if he doesnt get paid tips then who are the customers tipping? Anyways, i did not concern myself with that information during this misunderstanding. I told him that i was not leaving the place without tipping, i just want a readable copy of the receipt so i know what Im paying for and for him to perhaps let management know that theres something wrong with their handheld wireless device making selections on their own. I left the $4. I would have tipped him accordingly as living in San Francisco bay area and having been a server myself i know and understand how the restaurant industry works. Now to the owners of Pho1 noodle house, i hope that your not hoarding the tips intended for your workers coz according to this guy he dont get any. Otherwise that would be called theft.

Service is excellent. I order no 96 and it was delicious. (Dry noodle with BBQ pork, BBQ shrimp, spring rolls and vegetables)

I used to love the beef broth here in the Pho. This latest trip was devastating. The broth was terrible and I couldn’t even taste the beefiness. It was more like metal and soap. I was shocked and unfortunately had to leave this review. Maybe they hired a new cook or sold the business but the recipe has changed. It looked delicious but the taste was subpar.

This is my first time coming here and I super love the interior of the place. Servers and crew are very attentive with excellent customer service. Food arrives fast as compared to other restaurants. They politely asked us if we want a refill whenever they see our drinking glass empty.We ordered 96 Bún Tôm, Tht Nng, Ch Giò (BBQ shrimp, grilled sliced pork, egg roll w/vermicelli) and 70 Cm Gà, Ht Gà, Tàu H Ky (BBQ chicken, sunny side up egg, fried shrimp cake w/steamed rice). I havent tried the other menu but I find the #70 meal lacks flavor especially the BBQ chicken.I will definitely come back here again and try the others on the menu.
