A nice little dessert cafe spot if youre in the mood for Chinese style dessert and quick meal. Seating is limited but manageable for parties of four.

6 yrs come back, everything seems the same, nothing changed to much, same items and same quality, durian mochi and durian noodles are their specialty and most try in my opinion only if you are durian fans. Great location and many branches.

I dont care what anybody says, this spot still slaps.Its a major part of my college days; I spent a lot of time eating here and its always been consistent. My go-to is the sliced rib with Korean sauce (drizzled with chili oil on the side) and a mixed fruits tapioca to drink.

Phoenix food boutique is a Hong Kong style bakery with drink options like lemon tea, milk tea etc, bakery options like pancake, mochi, egg tarts.If you are a durian lover, you must try their durian pancake. The pancake is soft, creamy and packed with durian meat! Super satisfied!

I got desserts. It was okay. Not how I imagined it. Customer service was bad. The lady acted as having a customer is annoying for her. No greeting. No youre welcome. I like the Place in San Gabriel better. Friendly and more tasty. The place is not pack at all. Cute little corner place.

My wife and I have been coming to the Phoenix Food Boutique at the Atlantic Time Square in Monterey Park for couple of years. We come there to eat or having a fresh ingredients drink before or after the movies. The AMC is walking distance away thats why my wife and I enjoy it very much.

Hassle free casual dining, fancy yet simply delicious, freshly prepared and affordable Cantonese/Chinese food and deserts in a clean and vibrant setting. My favorite place for honey walnut shrimp or tangerine chicken. Sometimes Ill get a couple desert items to go if Im craving something sweet.

Got a delicious mango type of drink from them which was awesome, but it was downhill from there. Ordered my food and the customer service was 1/10 because they threw my receipt back at me demanding a tip, I tipped and my food came which was bland fried rice and very stale, old, most likely refried chicken. The only thing worth a star was my drink which was awesome, but customer service was rude, and I reviewed better patronage from the DMV. Not worth spending money on food, get their drinks ONLY!!! And just order online if possible to avoid such rude cashiers.

They sold us some desserts that already went bad. When we got home and tried them, the pastries had a sour taste and it tasted really off. When the food was fresh it was good but they wont throw away old food and instead try to sell it. Avoid this place!

I bought 2 durian crepes which I really love to eat then had to throw them away after opening it when I get home. They had a really foul taste when I tried them. These people are really irresponsibly and try to sell food that went bad. Im so mad. Please dont sell food that is too old 😡😡😠😠🤬 Never come back to this store.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If i could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! I asked the server to change my order to dine in and she decided to not change it. Then we requested plates to dine in and they provided additional plates to go….not sure why they wouldn’t allow us to dine in when other people were dining in. They have lost a customer due to their lack of hospitality. Also, tables were dirty and we had to clean before seating. This has been the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant.

We stopped in here after seeing a movie at the AMC nextdoor. Our dinner was incredibly delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting our dishes. The food was very fresh and light and was the perfect post movie meal. The vibe is very casual and cool and our food was served VERY FAST! Thank you to everyone at Phoenix Food Boutique! Durian roll and mango roll are the best! Also purple yam and mango custard. Notice you would need a cooler to store it on the road if you want to eat it later. They provide reusable ice pack for 1 dollar as well.

This is where I go to buy asian desserts for parties or gatherings. Im not a big fan because they are not sweet enough. Tney do serve entrees and they are not bad. They are always short staffed and you often need to wait a long time to order your food. Price is reasonable.

11/08/2018 night time, I went to this restaurant and I ordered Chinese Pidan lean meat porridge. When it was came up, I found that the porridge was already deteriorated and was spoiled. When I talked to their waitress but their attitude was very bad. I will never go back this restaurant again.

The food is like other Phoenix places. Good decent Hong Kong style cafe food. Ordering my catering order was easy. Beware that there are only a few tables available, but there usually isnt a wait.

I wish I could give 0 stars. They close at 9pm and I came to get a drink only. It was 8:40pm. As soon as I went in thr lady SCREAMED at me and said Get out, kitchen closed. It was really hurtful. I even said its just for a drink and they really hurt the way they said it to me.

One of the newer Phoenix locations with the only downfall being parking. As expected, theres minimal seating (about 25-30) but you can expect the same good quality as the other Phoenix.Parking here can be a bit difficult and time consuming as its underground parking lot with some tight spaces.

Personally I don’t think it tastes good. I read the reviews and ordered the durian roll and mango roll. The durian roll was ok. The meat was not very tender. The mango roll was not delicious. The mango was super hard and sour. I ordered it after listening to the waiter and she said that the freshly made egg tart was not cold at all. It tastes delicious and doesn’t quite taste like egg tarts. The above are all based on my taste and are for reference only.

Durian is really stinky 😂😂The ingredients are very solid. The mango and durian rolls are delicious, but I personally think the skin is a little thicker.Yangzhi Ganlu is also delicious, but the crushed ice inside is a bit big🤣There are basically no minefields, and they are all delicious.
