We got the honey walnut shrimp spicy fried pork, and assorted mochi for around $35. The two dishes were enough to split between the three of us, and it was pretty delicious. The shrimp wasnt over seasoned and the pork was juicy, they both had very distinct and well developed flavors. For the mochi, my favorite was the red bean. The staff was really attentive and friendly, although maybe because we went when business was slow. It was a good experience and a very good meal too.

I bought the durian rolls multiple times and they taste great! 👍Very fresh durian as in the picture. I also tried purple durian roll this time and found it little different from the normal one. The mango pudding is not to my taste.

There is no need to go anywhere else for Chinese food. Not those famous chained named restaurants whose foods sits there for a long time and is soggy and greasy. This place has clean delicious, not oily, well prepared tasty food. Memu has lots to chose from. And generous amounts. There is no better place to eat Chinese food. Thats my opinion. Go!!

Phoenix food quality is consistent. So if I take my American friends to try authentic Chinese food, this is my usual spot. Plus they have vegetarian option on fried noodles and fried rice and lots of yummy desserts, specialty drinks to choose from 😋

Very stupid people work here. They sent delivery to my hotel room with no forks chopsticks or napkins so my family had to eat with their hands. Fu Phoenix food biatches

Theres really not much not to like about Phoenix; its a quick one stop shop for quick comfort food and desserts and traditional drinks. The chicken wings and Beef Fried Rice Noodles are always an excellent choice, and their desserts and drinks are always refreshing.

Went in for some of the delicious desserts that we normally pick up when were in the area. But we had just come from Disneyland and were feeling hungry. We ended up ordering a beef chow fun, the Singapore noodles, and dry fried string beans. All three were amazing and now we are looking at what else we want to try the next time were in the area. The portions were great and it was more than enough for us (were 2 adults and 2 teens) plus we had a little room left over for the mango rolls and mango mochi.

Every dish ordered was delicious. The best is the fish fillet in orange sauce. A desert after a meal is highly recommended. Their deserts is very delicate and delicious!！

If I lived closer to this restaurant, Ill probably be there all the time. Good thing I dont... I love their braised pork belly, pan-fried house noodles (or any pan-fried noodles, their shrimp dish, actually, pretty much most of their entrees and dessert. Their drinks are also pretty good. You can adjust the sweetness too. The only drawback is the parking. Going in and out of the parking lot can be tricky. But other than that, the food and dessert is worth driving for. Especially the mango roll.

Unusual name for a Chinese restaurant, considering a boutique is French for shop which is a small shop that deals in fashionable clothing or accessories. Would be helpful if the name Chinese food would be written under the restaurant name. 🙄

Great spot for authentic casual sit-down Chinese/Hong Kong style food from rice dishes to noodle soups to stir fried noodles, lots of variety on their extensive menu. They also have a great selection of desserts that you can take to-go and herbal teas in addition to yummy desserts on their menu. Theyre based in San Gabriel more, so glad there is an OC location too.

Encountered an emergency situation with a 85-year-old man sitting in a table next to mine yesterday. The restaurant employees were very supportive in assisting with the situation by calling 911 and doing what they could. Kudos!Their food is good and reasonably priced. Check them out!

We havent been to an Outback in several years. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. From the crab cakes appetizer to the filet mignon main course to the salted caramel cookie dessert it was delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

The desserts here are a bit different than the other dessert places in town. They seem to use fresh fruit including fresh durian in their desserts. Must if their desserts are great and are not overly sweet. The price also seems fair for the quality.

I ordered from Phoenix Food Boutique through postmates because I heard about the awful service and didnt want to deal with it. I ordered the shrimp and garlic fried rice, the mixed fruit tapioca in coconut milk, and the durian rolls. I dont know how you can mess up fried rice, but they did. I got burnt fried rice. I could tell it was burnt just by smelling it when I first opened the box. I figured I couldnt waste money and food since I was hungry, so I ate it. Yep, it was burnt. They did add a good amount of shrimp that wasnt burnt, so there was that... The tapioca drink was okay. It was half filled with tapioca. I wish they added more fruit. The best part was the durian rolls! I would come back just for those rolls and nothing else. I dont recommend the food, but they excel with their desserts.

This place has only one good item which is their durian roll. The fresh durian included in this roll makes everything more interesting. The sesame porridge is disgusting. Dont ever try it, save your money. The parking here is insane, so your best bet is to go early or off hours.

This is the freshest Chinese food you can get. The tangerine chicken is great. However, what you need to get are the mango rolls. This dessert is soft, fresh, coco-nutty, and the mangoes are always perfectly ripe. The desserts are what set this place apart.

This post is mostly about their mixed fruit coconut drink because I buy this drink, literally once or twice a week in Rowland Heights and Temple City. First time here at this restaurant in Garden Grove, and the drink was terrible.... it barely had any fruits and the drink was very bland. Disappointed.

Open late, so thats nice, but the parking situation is atrocious and seating can be tricky depending on group size. The menu is a little confusing, and some of the dishes arent as savory as expected, but its a nice casual sit down.

To sum it up, Phoenix is as Cantonese as you can get in OC without having to go to cross county to LA. They serve up fast-casual Chinese Cantonese food. They have been around since the 60s in LA and have recently opened this OC location in 2015. They had some growing pains with slow service starting up in this community, but they seem to have gotten better since. The food here is at best consistent. I also just love that they open late. I always get their wonton noodle soup and HK Style Beef Noodle (chow fun). Its not the greatest, but it fills my cravings.

Living in the OC metro area and no where near the SGV, finding authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cafe style food is a losing struggle. PFB replaced some irrelevant and defunct Japanese restaurant of some sort. Ive resided and commuted past it for a few years. We finally gave it a go. At first glance the menu is unimpressive. However it did have some staple dishes you would find in heavily populated Chinese communities and on menus in Manhattan and Brooklyns 86th st Chinatowns. The salt/pepper wings for primo and the omelettes can go toe to toe with their counterparts.

Today I ordered pork rib fried rice and wonton noodles. The pork ribs are delicious and crispy, and the fried rice is dry and fragrant. The wonton filling is fresh, solid and authentic Cantonese taste. This time the service was better than last time. I also ordered milk tea with grass jelly. The Hong Kong-style milk tea is rich and sweet, and I am more used to the Taiwanese formula. Im also appreciated that they used microwaveable and paper product for my leftover.
