I usually come here for the dessert goods and drinks. They sell lunch/dinner items and always see people eating here. I love the mixed fruit drink! My kids love their cookies and egg custards. The service is always fast

Food is great, including black sesame puree, sauteed spinach, and Japanese style pork chops. I love the chrysanthemum tea. Good stuff. I dont have much to say about service because my interactions with the servers took less than 30 seconds to complete. They were very efficient for sure. I just dropped all my loose change into the tip jar.

It’s one of my favorite Chinese eateries in the San Gabriel Valley. Big menu and almost everything on their menu is delicious. (Try their LoMein, rice dishes and different types of puddings). Also love their drinks and desserts. They have a lot of locations in LA and I hope they can expand to the SF bay area in the near future. Casual place but high quality food ~

Wait time was ridiculous. Arrived around 9pm to place a takeout order (4 items) and didn’t get it until 10:30pm. Delivery orders were prioritized and staff were not helpful with giving an estimate on how long it would take

The food was slightly above average while the service was okay. They dont have the same service quality as other restaurants have. For example, they didnt ask drinks first and I had to ask them for water. I was left with my food but no drinks. Other restaurants also have waiters/waitresses coming around to refill your water, but again, they didnt have any. This place is more for takeout, desert, or snacks rather than an actual dine-in restaurant.

Not sure why so many people highly recommend this place. First of all. Service not good. I did not feel comfortable there. The dish is pricy compare to the size of it. The flavor? Not impressive either. Generally speaking. The food in the display counter are good. Most of the drinks are OK.

This location of Phoenix is still good because the service is quick and friendly. Last week, coming here for quick dinner with my friend before party, and I order Surf clam (spicy)and Thai style noodles. It is pretty good for Thai style noodles but Surf clam is not that good that I thought. Also, parking here sometimes is hard to find as well especially in the weekend. But overall, it is still okay to come here for quick food or to go.

Ordering through the app was oh so easy and convenient. Pictures and prices are all displayed; you receive instant notification once order is accepted and confirmation when order is ready for pickup.Phoenix food is always great but service is ok, as expected from quick service Chinese restaurants. The app does remove much of the interaction which makes the whole experience that much better to warrant a high rating.

Phoenix is my go to when I am craving some good Chinese food. It’s kind of like a reliable homie, who you know will always be there for you! It’s open late, has yummy food, an array of options and yummy drinks. It is a tad bit small, but there’s usually always seating available!My family and I go to Phoenix often. It’s a nice place to agree on when we can’t decide what to eat. We all have a favorite dish here, and it’s a nice spot to order take out as well. They have a large menu so it’s super easy to find something someone would enjoy. Their drinks and desserts are also really good if your just in the mood for something sweet.Our go tos here are usually the beef fried rice, walnut shrimp, korean bbq slice, chow mein/fun and porridge when I’m sick! But there are so many good options here, you just can’t go wrong.I’ll be back to visit again, whether it’s for dessert or a late night dinner!

Um. I love this place. The food is always on point and the service is so nice. I usually take it to go. The only down side of this place is the plaza. Phoenix food boutique has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Everytime I make a trip south I never fail to visit for my favorite mixed fruit drink and their garlic wings! Also, I havent found anything that I dont like. The service is great and compliments to all the employees because theyre so kind!

Horrible, horrible service!!! Goto any other Phoenix Cafe, just avoid this place like the plague!!! They will cuss you out in Mandarin behind your back because they think you are trying to cheat them out of a tip. Bought food at the counter and then went to sit down to eat it. If you do that, they think youre not doing dine-in service. Its very confusing since there are no signs and no one tells you what youre suppose to do. They made us leave the table. We always leave a tip, averaging 20% or more. What type of service is that when they tell you to leave and then start cussing you out in Mandarin? The other Phoenix restaurants are much friendlier, go there, not here!!!

I had a big order the other day and I felt like they werent helpful being that I had 5 big bags of food and they didnt offer to send someone to help me out with it!I took two trips back and forth into the store! It wasnt even like they were busy or anything either!Other than that- i felt that the food were either too oily or too salty!I know a lot of people enjoyed there desserts but i personally just dont!

The dessert is amazingly delicious. Ive havent tried everything but Ill definitely return to try them all. The price isnt too bad. Its a great place to hangout with friends since it closes late.

Warm & friendly service always. Solid quality HK comfort food like stir fried noodles, congee. Highlights include their tapioca fruit drinks, the hot desserts, the innovative fresh fruit mochis and puddings. My family and I have been Phoenix customers for 20+ yrs and now my kids are also loyal customers. I introduce friends, visitors to dessert at Phoenix, and they all become Phoenix fans. I remain impressed that their quality has been pretty consistent over decades.

I had visited this place with my employee every Tuesday or Wednesday in 2008〜2009 .Customers were very gentle and employees were nice .Female manager was so nice and always she served free dessert to us .Very busy restaurant that’s why foods is so delicious and great value for dinner more than anything management is wonderful .

We ordered our drinks and wanted to seat and enjoy it. We sat down and immediately the waiter told us we couldnt because it was only for dine-in customers. We were the customers!!! plus, no one was waiting to be seated. They just WANTed the tip!!!! I was offended so as my guests. Extremely poor customer service and the employees were rude as well!

Open late it is convenient till 1 am. Big selection of food many of it ready for take out already . I was not as impressed with the dry noodles to take out. convenient parking there can be busy at peak times service was friendly and efficient menus are available also online for takeout order which is what I did

I often go for what I call Chinese supper dishes like Wonton with Noodles, Beef Chow Fun, Yang Chow Fried Rice or Chicken Chow Mein (with crispy noodles)...all good! We recently discovered their desserts which are very good: tiramisu (mousse), mango pudding, and a variety of mochi including durian if you like that. The adjacent parking lot makes this a no brainer.

My favorite dishes here are the shrimp wonton noodles and the bak-kut-te(rou gu cha), tasted like home! Of course they have a big variety of choices, my kids like the Hainan Chicken(which doesnt quite tastes like home). The Salt and pepper pork ribs is great too. Big variety of asian deserts too. They have the home style Bobo-chacha, not too bad, but doesnt quite like home. Place is a little small when busy. The arrangement of the furniture is not optimized for such a small place too.

Food Boutique is a weird way to describe what is essentially a cafe. Food is definitely of the Chinese cafe variety, slightly oily, quickly made. Fried Shu Mai and HK Tea w/ Coffee were unexpectedly great. Not much ambiance, small place in a small strip mall. Most people probably come here if Din Tai Fung next door is full.

Very disappointed! Always buy this mango roll. It supposed to be soft and fresh. They sold me a leftover!!! They mango already start to spoil,turned brown. Outside sticky rice roll turned hard as if I was eating cardboard!Originally, this dessert was fresh, soft, glutinous and sweet, but the one sold to me today was a leftover product that had been stored for several days! Its too deceitful. The mangoes in it all turned black and the taste changed. The glutinous rice rolls were hard on the outside. So disappointed!

I have been to most of Phoenix Food Boutiques branches. The customer service level is truly A+! You may not encounter staff with arrogant or rude service attitude for decades.There is a branch on Valley Blvd and Garfield Ave. that has my favorite Bak Kut Teh and Egg Waffles, but they are all gone due to Covid-19. I hope this Arcadia branch or other branches will have bak kut teh and egg waffles again.However, the shop assistant Jenny and a few others introduced me to the mango snowflake cake. Really delicious and crunchy! There are a lot of nuts and dried mangoes in it.Phoenix Food Boutique also has multi-colored pastries. My favorites are green tea black cake, fresh mango cake, coconut milk purple rice cake, coffee cake, etc. There are also shredded coconut mango rolls, horse bran pudding, poplar nectar pudding, mixed fruit pomelo, poplar nectar bean curd, etc. They are all very delicious!Almost every time after going to JJ Bakery, I go to Phoenix Food Boutique to buy desserts or Dongjiang Chicken Rice.Produced by Phoenix Food Boutique, it is a must-have product.

Wonton noodles are the taste I ate in Hong Kong. Shrimp and Jinhua sausage fried rice is addictive. In addition, shrimp spring rolls and garlic fried chicken wings are the best to accompany sake. You can take it home, and the soup and noodles are separated.
