Great place for sharing for a big or small party. We went on Saturday around one and it was awesome because it wasnt too crowed. They offer a lunch menu and service was fast. The food came out quickly, well cooked with great flavors and super warm as it had just been made. The staff was super attentive which a big plus. Definitely worth checking them out.

Delicious food! Nothing was greasy (including the fried dishes) and everything was bursting with fresh flavors. If we lived closer this would be a regular place.We got the kung pao chicken, chicken fried rice, friend chicken, and tangerine chicken. Would have loved to try the fried noodles with beef brisket too. Service was great.One of our family is a picky eater that has never had Chinese food and he loved it.

Good food and attentive service.We come here to redeem a reward we got from the Five Star app. That was a $20 dinner combo for 2. It included 2 courses of entree, soup of the day, steamed rice and fruit. The portion is enough for 2 ( in fact, we had leftover to bring home).

Excellent food! Staff is rude. They close at 10. We asked for a few more sodas. They said they were getting ready to close soon. Do we want it to go? They seem to have a bad attitude. We had a party of eight people. What happened to the days when people were polite to each other? Food was great! Attitude horrible.

The food is okay, maybe it was what I got but I got the tangerine chicken and it was way too sweet and overly saturated with sauce it was overwhelming and i could barely tase the chicken itself. Just not a good balance there. Also the string beans weren’t even salted at all, they had a nice texture but no salt to enhance the flavor. The desserts are excellent here however highly recommend.

What a delightful place, the desserts were terrific! My little sister, her husband and just wanted some dessert after a great meal at their place. This ace totally fit and met our expectations. The staff was friendly and even provided us with masks, how thoughtful of them.

Terrible service. My mom called in an order at 11:35, and by 12:15, the food still was not ready for pickup. We asked the staff twice and each time they just said a few more minutes. When we asked again at 12:20, they said they were still waiting for the last dish - Kung Pao Chicken. Seriously? Did they run out of chicken? We said forget the chicken and just refund us that portion. There were only 3 small tables of dine-in customers. They could not have been that busy. It was like they didn’t care about customer service. I can handle brusqueness, but slowness? Sorry, not from a Chinese restaurant in Alhambra! Phoenix, we are never coming back.

My experience in this local was devastating. The service I recieved appalled me. I went in expecting good service and great food. Unfortunately, it didnt go as expected. My party and I received the menus late considering that there wasnt many guests. The appetizers arrived after the main course. One of the dishes were cold and the waiter asked if microwaving the food was okay. The drinks arrived late after asking twice for them. The food could have been better considering the prices are on the expensive side. Definitely not going back.

Been coming here for many years for dessert. I love their mixed fruit tapioca drinks. Some of the small-bite pastries are just too sweet for me though. Also, their crepe isnt really as crispy as other places. Easy parking situation (street, residential, lot).

Really like the food here and now you can earn points when you join their rewards programs. Used a coupon for a free drink last Sunday and saved money on another visit. Used to be able to get a table any time but, now it is getting busier on the weekends. Service can be slow and uneven when it gets busy.

Everytime I come here, I always seem to enjoy it. By it, I am referring to the desserts. Asian desserts are so yummy!Ive tried a plethora of their hot dessert soups. I dont have any complaints on the ones Ive tried. They were all delicious. And I love the mixed fruit coconut drink.The ambiance is OK, I usually take my desserts to go. Seating can be hard to find because it gets so crowded.

The Food is pretty good here. I love there cold shredded chicken as its light but still salty a bit. The food is decently priced where you get decent portions for about $7 to $10 a plate.Theres parking behind the bank after hours or on the street.

Poor service ! Poor manner!This evening, my sister and I brought the NY Daikon Cake蘿蔔糕. My sister got the last one over the counter. They said that they had more at the back (kitchen??), so they gave me one with a box. When I unpacked it at home, no name tag, it is the 芋頭糕 which I dont quite like. On my receipt, it shows that I have paid for NY Daikon Cake蘿蔔糕. It is a hassle to go back and have an exchange. I am so disappointed by sucha poor service!A woman tried to get back the credit card merchant copy before my sister finish signing it. There were only 3 customers, why were they rushed, looked so busy and made such a mistake?We also placed take out orders in the restaurant. One woman was so inexperience, she was not familiar with ordering machine. She packed my order in two bags, one with soup in it. I requested to have a bigger bag to consolidate the two bags of food into one as I had another bag with the cake and desert. She gave me one the same size of bag of the other three. Is that stupid?? I asked whether I can have a bigger paper bag with handles (I used to get it from the Phoenix in San Gabriel). The woman was so rude to say we dont have it. and took the bag that she just gave me. What a stupid, rude, bad manner and inexperience staff.Forget it, I rather go back to the San Gabriel Phoenix.

I really love their drinks here especially their mixed fruit tapioca. Their food is also good if you want something simple like their fried rice or noodle dishes. I usually come here if Im in a rush or want something quick. They also have a good selection of desserts like custards and jelly.

I would give 5 due to the portions, pricing, and food being great but the service was lacking. I was never checked on nor had my water refilled at all even though it had been empty most my meal. Their dish is pretty mediocre, only standout is their skinless chicken which is nice for those who hate to separate the chicken bones or the skin. Just aware that dish is always cold and could be more likely had bacteria.. who know if the actually use bare-hand when their remove the skin and the bones.The nice thing is next to their dessert store, you get complete meal here.

Our family love this Phoenix Resto very much. We come many times every month. The staffs are working so fast and they are helpful and friendly. We love the Sweet sour chicken and Tofu...They provide free oranges (tasty and sweet) as desert and hot tea along the meals.. the steam rice is refillable, I love that too. I was hoping they will play instrumental music in the resto based on the seasons.

This is not my favorite place to eat, but when I feel like some dessert, I come here for some of the traditional stuff like black sesame or red/green bean (hot). They also have a killer fresh fruit tapioca drink. Oooo, and they have this mango tofu thing. AND they have some flavor blaster almond cookies to die for. Parking is horrible, but figure it out, all good things require a little work to get.

Phoenix Inn is a great spot for good Chinese food in Alhambra. This is a large restaurant with good seating (others are smaller). One of their specialties is a cold chicken (boneless) that has a light soy taste. They have a nice selection of vegetables and the Beef Chow Fun is excellent.

We stopped by for early dinner at 4:45pm and ordered the Chef signature dish on the new menu: Cashew stir fry with chicken, Clams with Basil sauce and the signature dish boneless chicken.Waiter in Yellow shirt bought us the Cashew chicken, we immediately asked: where are the cashews ? . He looked at it and spooned a couple of rounds and said the chef forgot to put the cashews ? and finally found 2 small diced cashews (1/5 of the regular cashew) here are the cashews. We took a first bite and told the only waiter in yellow shirt that the tiny diced cashews are soggy and soft, doesnt taste like cashew at all. This is the way it is caused its cooked. he replied. Cashew is my ALL TIME Favorite snacks and entree. Its supposed to be crunchy and not diced up. Waiter in Yellow shirt immediately throws his NASTY ATTITUDE: YOU WANT TO TRY THE RAW ONES, I CAN LET YOU HAVE SOME ! THESE CASHEWS ARE COOKED, SO SOGGY. So much for the so-called customer service: I came here to have dinner, why would we want to have RAW FOOD, we dont want to argue and fight with you, please CANCEL the dish.we said. OMG ! waiter in yellow shirt then RAISED his angry voice and asked the chef if the cashews are soggy?Our dinner was already ruined by his non-sense and rude attitude. Clams with Basil sauce was also disappointing-NO FAVOR, just sticky sauce. We used to lick the plate for this entree...Old friend, since year 1990, we used to go to Chinatown, parked on the narrow alley, to have phoenix famous Preserved vegetable/ pickle and beef stir fry every other night. We go to the branch on Valley blvd. for birthdays, weekend family gatherings, new year and company party since it opened.Phoenix signature chili oil is GONE ! Entrees quality is GONE ! All is left with RUDE WAITER FULL OF ATTITUDE. SO LONG, OLD FRIEND...GOOD LUCK !
