Fantastic Chinese food with friendly service. Right off the main road through Chinatown, its easy to park nearby and get to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and service was quick, but we never felt rushed. The green beans were amazing and it was by far the bust Kung Pao Chicken Ive ever had. I would love to go back and sample more food, but everything we had was great.

I had the privilege of dining at this Chinese restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was a delightful fusion of modern elegance and traditional charm. The contemporary decor blended seamlessly with Chinese motifs, creating a visually stunning and comfortable environment. The service was top-notch. The staff was not only courteous but also incredibly efficient. They anticipated our needs and provided helpful suggestions, making us feel like valued guests. The attention to detail was commendable. Now, onto the culinary journey – the food was sensational. The sesame chicken was crispy yet tender, the vegetable stir-fry was bursting with freshness, and the spring rolls were a delightful appetizer. Each dish was a testament to the chefs culinary prowess. In conclusion, this Chinese restaurant is a true gem. Its ambiance, service, and delectable food combine to create an extraordinary dining experience. Whether youre a Chinese cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, this restaurant is sure to impress and satisfy your taste buds.

I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was enchanting, with tastefully decorated lanterns casting a warm glow throughout the restaurant. The cozy seating and traditional Chinese artwork added to the overall charm. The service was exceptional. The staff was not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the extensive options. They made us feel truly welcome, and the promptness of their service was impressive. Now, lets talk about the food! Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were rich and authentic, showcasing the chefs skill. The Peking duck was a standout, perfectly crispy with succulent meat. The dim sum was delicate and flavorful, and the hot and sour soup had just the right balance of spices. In conclusion, this Chinese restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience that ticks all the boxes - impeccable ambiance, top-notch service, and food that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Its a culinary journey you wont want to miss.

A few of us in our party either hadnt had Chinese in a long time or were picky when it comes to Chinese cuisine. So if youre that kind of group and looking to experience authentic non-fast food Chinese cuisine, this is the place! We all enjoyed our meal. Recommend the sweet and sour pork, sausage fried rice, and Korean style beef haha. Nice staff!

Phoenix Inn, one of the most storied restaurants in L.A. Chinatown. Truly Great food and friendly service. Huge portions. Nothing fancy, 60s decor. No site of Katai Chang and his wife, May Chang, But theyd probably be well into their hundreds if still alive. Real treat to visit The most successful Chinese restaurant empire in LA.

True Hong Kong cooking and so good. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 people and couldnt stop eating! The menu has options for regular and small sized orders. If you want take-home, get regular size. We ignore the interior decor because the food is excellent.

Good food at reasonable prices. Staff speak broken English but very accommodating. Try the tropical ice tea with fruit. Sooooooo delicious. The orange fish also is wonderful. Shrimp friend rice also a favorite. They also have a beef dish that’s pretty good too.

I have been to several of their locations. This is the oldest and has a run down look and it is a little too dark. That said, the food is good. I like the tangerine fish and chow fun. The Russian tea cookies are amazing.

The lady ran out to make us pay double the tips when we had already tipped her in cash. We felt embarrassed because she made us seem like we didnt pay. Never going back despite the food being good. I am feeling pretty bummed because of how she reacted. This had been the 5th time we went, and we have never had that type of reaction.
