Food was surprisingly good. Our server was also very kind. They werent busy for a Saturday afternoon. They definitely deserve to be much busier. Im pretty picky with Asian food, and would recommend this place.

Great food at reasonable prices. It was all very fresh and full of flavor. I had the vermicelli bowl with chicken. (I did not realize that the chili oil had a spoon and almost dumped the whole thing on my bowl though so just be careful with that. 😂🥵🌶)

Not from the area and we were hungry. Saw this place and noticed many people eating and getting food to go. We thought it must be good to have so many customers. It was a good choice. All three of us were happy. There were no available tables, but one became available while we were ordering. Not a long wait for food. Everything came as expected. It was loud due to being a small place with a lot of people. I did notice some places that needed cleaning and looked like they had not been cleaned in a while. These were not eating or seating surfaces.

The pho here is awesome. On a rainy day.....it hits the spot!!Theyre spring rolls with the peanut butter sauce are delicious and flavorful. Parking is a little tight and the place can get crowded around lunch, so make sure you give enough time to eat, or order ahead.

The food is good. Great pho. But the service was not good and we were waiting much longer than necessary to be seated. My group of 6 stood to wait when there was a table open with only 1 person sitting there. His group didnt show until even after we were seated. It took 3 servers to clean up the table they seated us at, each one of them asked how many were in our party and they still forgot a chair, leaving 1 of us waiting to sit. There was no communication between them.I dont know what changed since I was here a year ago, but the customer service quality has definitely been lost. Hopefully they train the servers a but more for a better customer experience.

Best pho I’ve had in a while. It was take out, a medium steak pho, I’m telling y’all that broth was so tasty. Also the peanut sauce included with the spring rolls had some roasted peanuts on top, with siracha - SO GOOD. Looking forward to coming here again.

Definitely the best pho in all of Modesto. The broth is so flavorful and the service is good. Other menu items are very tasty as well. Love this place! If the smells dont reel you in, then maybe the alive atmosphere that comes with good food and happy customers because they know what a great place this is. The prices are very reasonable coming from any restaurant establishment in downtown . It is a little small but maybe thats what keeps its atmosphere flowing with positive energy . The combination of mouth watering smells mixed with satisfying food that satiates your hunger pain away.Dont let the small size of this Vietnamese restaurant fool you as it comes with big taste to leave in your mouth and wanting to come back for more .

Possibly the best value bargain in Modesto. They are always busy which is a sign of the food quality. You will most likely have to wait about 10 minutes to get a table. Seating can be a little tight but completely adequate. Pho sizes are huge and a medium should be enough for anyone. I love the Mangolin beef and the curry dishes. Have had most the menu and have never been disappointed. Food comes out quick once you have placed your order but table service can be slow and you might not get a refill on your drink. Take is excellent too.

The food here is good. The service is good, but a little slow at lunch during the week (they get slammed by us downtown workers so it is completely understandable). They are also good about boxing up to go meals to pick up and take back to the office. I eat here fairly often and will continue to do so.

I love Bun. Our daughter started us on Vietnamese food. When looking at the menu I always want Bun. But didnt see it. Yes they have it but is in the Vermicelli portion of the menu. The cook even came out to see what it was I really wanted because I was trying to explain to waitress but am fairly new at Vietnamese food. The cook was really nice and did exactly what I wanted. Love their food.

Honestly this is the best place in town for great Vietnamese food. Have been coming here for about 3 yeara now and I have not once had a problem with the quality of the food. I have 3 favorites that I recommend for anyone to try out at least. The vermicelli special, #25 war wanton soup (your choice of rice or egg noodles) and #36 in rice plates with grilled prawns and beef. Best place and great prices. Go there.

I love coming here foods great. Im erating a three cause of the service I just had. When I placed my order I specified beef fried rice NO VEGETABLES due to allergy. I was given fried rice with vegetables so I come back to get my order fixed and the cook was so rude complaining about who dont eat vegetables and made a clear seen about having to remake the rice. I could see her cause its an open kitchen.. Ill definitely take my business somewhere else after seeing how rude she was.

Never will I eat here again. The food was disgusting. I ordered a LARGE shrimp and vegetable soup. It came with only 3 very tiny shrimp in it. My mother had the combination minus meatballs, and all she got were meatballs and noodles. Then when we complained all they said was oh maybe they recipe was off today. They were extremely unaccommodating, and didnt even try to make our meals right.Then on top of horrible food and service. They charged us $3.50 for a freakin off brand canned soda, really for a off brand can soda, are you serious.I wouldnt let my pets eat here, let alone a human.

My wife has been ordering from here for years and i never suspected anything out of the ordinary until the last time. After 3 weeks of a stay-at-home I knew i was in real trouble with her. When she pulled the sword I took the hint and out of a sense desperation I ordered her the #6. Rare steak and brisket phở that she usually gets. With the first spoonful she was a different woman and I have rarely seen that level of satisfaction on her face. My family and I just left this restaurant and although the food was delicious I cannot get over the fact that there was a long strand of hair in my bowl of phó. While visiting Modesto we were looking for a good place for pho.. thankfully we found this little place. The place is small and can be to crowded which is the only downside. They do have a upstairs area to eat as well in case downstairs is to full. Prices are very good actually and quantity of the pho is very big! We ordered 2 large pho and it fed all 6 of us including a toddler and we were over full! Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I love to be overfull with some good pho! The pho was pretty good, had great flavor!!! If anyone is looking for a large and I mean large portion of pho that is cheap ($10) and delicious then definitely come here!! Service was quick and waitresses were extremely friendly!! All around 5 stars for me!! Definitely will be coming back when visiting Modesto area again!!

Servings are very large. Broth is very mild and meats, steak and meatballs, had little flavor. There are many flavor additions provided on the table. There is lots of fresh basil, slices of lime and jalapeno, and bean sprouts for that crunch. There are at least 6 sauces you can add as well.

I was fine with the pho I ordered it was great but then had to use the restroom, its outside and was absolutely filthy, i couldnt get to the toilet because of how bad it was. I let them know and 30 mins later no one had gone to attend to it another customer came back from trying to use it and said the same thing that it was filthy. I wont go back!! If their bathroom was like that I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. They would have to do a major clean up before I would be able to visit again.

I came here for the first time on a Friday after work. I felt a lil cold coming on in my throat. So I decided to get some Pho to rejuvenate my body & intake some nutrients. It is a comfortable cozy felling restaurant, with very friendly beautiful waittresses. I ordered a large #25 with reg. noodles & added vegetables. Man was it a big bowl of soup, I didnt think I could finish it. It came with a side dish with more veggies, so I put that in also. With a healthy dose of the chili that is on the table. Every slurp was delicious & satisfieing. The shrimp was well cleaned, vegetables where crunchy, noodles were fresh. It was an all around great dish. By the time I knew it it was all gone & I was well stuffed. I would recommend this place to family & friends. I am going to be eating there anytime Im craving Pho!

Pro - Woah! :o Very big bowl for a mediam size pho soup.Con - I like to have more vegetables in it but it does come with a side dish with vegetables that you can add to the pho soup.Overall: its a nice friendly and clean place to go to. :) its little bit hard to find with all the bail bonds around. Theres no sign for the place except on the window.
