Pickle Banh Mi Co in Fountain Valley

My friend introduced me to this sweet gem. We got the pork belly bahn mi, the traditional combination cold cuts and an ice coffee. Delicious! The coffee has a kick but oh so creamy at the same time. Their bread... oh.. their bread! I dont like bread so, Im super picky and their bread is amazing. Its soft and fluffy with a light crispy crust. Their seasonings play well with the meat where you can taste the meat and the seasoning (pickled veggies and pate) are just an enhancer. I will be making this place my go to. The roof of my mouth has not been scratched up by overlay crispy bread. You guys... THEIR BREAD!

One of the better chain of banh mi spots. The baguettes are nice and crispy and not too crusty that will tear up the roof of your mouth. Prices are pretty reasonable and the ingredients are nice and fresh. Great place for a quick bite that wont break the bank. Highly recommend this place if theres one near you

Banh Mi or Vietnamese sandwiches are amazing here! The bread is soft, chewy with just the right amount of crunch! Meat and veggie portions are outstanding as well. Service was great and very accommodating to all my questions! Definitely a place to try if you havent yet. Best banh mi in town!

After a poor visit a while ago I decided to stop by and to my surprise the costumer service has improved! Awesome and tasty food!

Some of the best Vietnamese banh mi you can get. My girlfriend got the cha lua banh mi, a plain baguette, and the passionfruit tea. I got the crispy pork belly banh mi. My girlfriend loves the bread here. It does have a nice buttery taste, and is always fresh and the right balance of crispy and soft. If you want a more premiere banh mi, with a variety of options, with drive through access, this place is perfect.Many different drink choices, and many different banh mi choices, alongside the typical classic choices you can find at other places.Its conveniently located off of a main street, not too far from the freeway. There is a drive thru. I believe you can delivery from here as well. They also open really early! The downside is I believe they close a bit early (6 PM ?). You can also get smaller bites and appetizers like egg rolls, spring rolls, buns, and other miscellaneous pastries and desserts in various flavors. They offer catering as well if you want their food for parties. I have also seen people order noodle and soup dishes from here. I never personally tried it myself.I would highly recommend anyone who to try it at least once.

During my recent visit to the Pickle Banh Mi Co, I opted for the convenience of the drive-thru and ordered a selection of dishes. Specifically, I ordered the #32 Vermicelli with Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls, #17 Fried Rice and Grilled Chicken, and Pennyworth drink. The efficiency of the service impressed me, as the line moved swiftly from placing the order to receiving it in less than 10 minutes. Considering the complexity of the dishes, this turnaround time was reasonable.One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the affordability of the dishes compared to other dine-in establishments. However, I did encounter a minor issue with the grilled pork. Unfortunately, the grilled pork portion that I received had more fat than the actual meat, which was disappointing.

Stopped in the morning for breakfast. Ordered a banh mi sandwich with iced coffee. It was delicious or I was very hungry. Also, it’s well maintained (clean). For credit card, there’s $10 minimum charge.

Please bring back the old cà phê sữa đá 😭 Its not as good as it used to be. Seriously, I used to think they sprinkled cr*ck into their cà phê sữa đá or something and could down a large like it was water. But ugh, I feel like theyve changed something because it no longer tastes the same. Noticeably less sweet, and the flavor just falls flat, lacking that addictive nuttiness & creaminess that was prominent before. Nowadays, I just stick with my Lees Coffee Concentrate instead - but I really miss the old Pickle :(P.S., their bánh mì is bomb though.

Their iced coffee is so good and the dude that was there today doing the drive-thru with the nicest person Ive met couldnt really understand him too well but he was really sweet . 9/22/23 3:45 pm

I got their #6 cold cut but just the red meat Saigon bacon banh mi sandwich along with a custom made goi cuon shrimp and pork spring roll no vermicelli bun noodles but extra lettuce. They made it perfectly and they understood my bad Vietnamese haha. Anyhow, for both items, it was $10.06, so cheap. The sandwich was so delicious wow! And it’s not like the other pickle sandwich spot on brookhurst in garden grove, the bread here wasn’t so “bready”, it was less of the white bread part which made it low carb. They made my sandwich correctly and my low carb spring rolls as well. Wow! A Vietnamese place that makes your order right is sometimes rare. This place did it right for sure. The banh mi sandwich had its own customized sauce, like caramelized onion sauce of some sort.. so good, it really made the sandwich stand out. You can see from the pictures.There’s a drive through so it’s super Covid safe and there is plenty of parking if you want to go in and order. After the pandemic, I’ll be back here for sure and I hope many people do the same. God bless and stay safe!
