2023-12-02 21:52:19Pico was one of the best, if not the best, dining experience. Our server Misty was so sweet and server assistant Danny was on top of everything. Chef John was an artist. He was also very attentive and accommodating to our diet restrictions. Also, wine expert Kase was very helpful with helping us find exactly what we were looking for. Thank you everyone for making our night so special!

2023-08-11 03:05:59This place was solid- creative menu and good service. I will say the structure of the menu is a bit confusing- its split up into three different sections (uno, dos, and tres). Uno and dos kind of both fall into the appetizer category- it just seems unnecessary.Big fan of how most of the plants out back are harvested and used in the food. The waitress was nice but she used my full name from the credit card receipt- kind of off putting.

2022-10-31 20:57:13Having been here before for dinner and enjoying our experience, we tried brunch on a warm late October Sunday. My wife had the mimosa that had watermelon juice replacing the orange juice (the juice used varies weekly) while I had a Michelada which for me a bit under spiced through tasted okay. For starters we ordered the cinnamon rolls which were straight from the oven and very tasty. My wife had the special for the day which was a brioche covered with smoked bacon, shallots, a cream sauce all which were very good. Others at our table had the Spanish tortilla which came with a salad and though it tasted good the portion of the tortilla was on the smaller size. I went for the steak and eggs and while the steak was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly the frites ended up as waffle fries which were okay. Service was good and we appreciated her cheerful personality. While nice to have another local option for brunch wouldnt be high on our list due to the pricing though we will continue to come for dinner.

2022-12-24 08:30:59Ambience was good and cozy . We did one dos i.e grilled shrimp this was average nothing special but was decent and 2 Tres they are duck breast which was soft and yummy and whole branzino, am personally not a fish liking person but I enjoyed eating this recipe . The fish was cooked properly and decent seasoning so could taste the fish with little chopped onions and lime tasted delicious

2023-12-08 05:31:56Just fantastic! Wonderful historic space… but so spacious and beautifully decorated. Superb service. Fabulous extensive wine list, both local and global. Take advantage of the somm, Case; his recs were very useful. And the food… delicious, creative, plentiful! Gorgeous presentation. The Spanokopita from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe was the best I’ve ever had. Light and perfectly seasoned. The rabbit carnitas were simultaneously evocative of a traditional taquito and a fancy rabbit dish. The braised short rib in polenta was cooked perfectly and SO good with the Lumen Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir from Santa Maria. This is a destination dining experience and worth the drive and expense!

2022-05-22 01:14:48We made reservations at Pico for 3 pm on a Saturday and everything was phenomenal. Our server, Kerry (sp?), was fabulous and made the experience SO personal for us. She recommended items on the menu, explained the dishes to us, and make us feel like we were VIPs!The vodka and gin cocktails were DELICIOUS and definitely had a vintage-vibe to them. We had the olives which were in this olive oil that was so good, I sopped it all up with the bread provided. Then, we moved onto the beef tartar, which was my husbands favorite. After than, we had the steak frites - the steak was perfect and the horseradish sauce was perfect! We also had the beet salad...and lemme tell you, Im still thinking about it! It was beets on a smoked cheese base with pistachios. (see pic) Just WOW.For dessert, we had the blueberry hand pie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. What a gem!!! And the chickens meandering around didnt hurt either - they were SO CUTE!!! The restaurant is gorgeous, but the outside is just a slice of heaven. Definitely recommend!!

2023-10-16 23:33:25The Fig Tagliatelle was incredible and will live in my memory as on of my most favorite ever. Don’t sleep on the chance to dine at Pico whenever you’re in the SY valley. Very impressive!

2021-04-03 02:36:26Totally blown away by their food and wines. Everything was far better than I was expecting, and i didnt have low expectations as its a nice place, its a bit pricey but worth it. The wines were really good but double kudos to the chef, my goodness. Clam chowder, burger, vanilla custard gelato...om nom nom is a more honest description than excellent (which is good). Comfortable atmosphere but still elegant. Its a must in my book. With the wine yoga my wife is dying to try, hikes, and cottages we may come back from Sac area just for this. Even my dogs who were welcome outside had a hard time leaving:)

2019-07-01 05:30:45We just left “burger night”. Our conclusion is that we will definitely be back to this place. I had the garbage plate which is a nod to Rochester where chef Drew told us he was from. It was sweet and spicy and the mustard woven into the mix was a really good idea. My partner had a plain burger no bun with bacon. It was sooooo flavorful!!! I’m getting that next time. The ambiance of this place is also stellar.. books and wine everywhere. The yellow dot dried flowers on each table.. prints of old time Los alamos on the walls. Heck I even loved the soap in the bathroom. There’s also a kids hideout/cave place.. how fun. They know what they’re doing in this place.
