My family went in person hoping to have a nice dinner. The Pieology employee waited on the gentleman in front of us with no issue: After waiting for our turn, we were told it would be 25 minutes just to take our order even though no one else was in the store. We were told on-line orders come first, then we were dismissed.
Its kinda like the way subway does sandwiches with pizza. you pay for the type of crust and get anything you want on it as much or as little.
One of the only local pizza places that cater to a vegan pizza lover like me. *much appreciated*

Do not waste your money here. It literally tastes like a frozen pizza. The pizza, ranch and a drink cost me $20 and I barely ate it because it just wasn’t good. Half of it was totally under cooked. It was soggy and not crispy at all. The pepperoni was not good quality. Also the customer service wasn’t horrible but not great. I felt like an inconvenience. I wish I could get my money back. Wasted $20.
I placed a order online for delivery and was expected to receive my order but they canceled my order due to not having something. I understand about not having something but they didn’t even bother to give me a call and let me know. Now I have 3 hungry kids with no food and now have to scramble to go somewhere els
I ordered 1 pizza online and it took 30 minutes longer than the “expected” time. Poor time management of the staff that seemed to have no urgency at all. Love the pizza but not worth the horrible service.
Im just gonna say it how it is and avoid any sort of theatrics.Waited 50 minutes long after my scheduled order pickup time which was already 30 mins. Thats 1hr15 minutes total for two pizzas.Pizza was cold despite being burned on the bottom.They put baffalo sauce all over the WRONG pizza. Like, a lot too.Also I’m lactose intolerant so if my pizza didn’t have vegan cheese I’m about to get very sick.The employees did many pizzas ahead of mine (which was explained to me and is not speculation).And overall it just killed the whole vibe of what I was going for with a pizza night. Everyone had to wait for me.Overall I get it. These are tough times. Ill update this review if I ever decide to go back again.2 stars because youre usually good and I have hope that next time my transaction will be more frictionless.(Reposted from yelp because yes, it was that bad of an experience that I have to let the googlers know too.)

This place is great. It’s like the Subway of pizza in the sense that you get to choose how your pizza is made. My husband and I discovered this place a few years ago and we love it. The food is delicious. I love their cheese pizza.
I never ever tried pieology pizza before and this was my very first time trying it. My girlfriend took me here. It’s cheap and you get unlimited toppings. The employee Claudia was nice to us. The pizza tasted great I highly recommend coming here. I’ll definitely be coming back here again.
I was saddened to see the employees look unhappy and worn out, as they are teenagers!It seems to be that the manager doesn’t make their employees happy. As i went inside to order a short caucasian man did not greet me as he just stared at me until i said something. My pizza was burnt and hard, just like the energy in that place. I will not be returning.
Its like Subway, but for pizza! The selection of veggies and other toppings was larger than I expected, the prices were reasonable, and I was very pleased with my pizza. The service was quick and the employees helpfully answered any questions customers had.My only complaint was that one of the employees didnt change his gloves before starting to make a second pizza. My partner is extremely sensitive to cross-contamination with meat products, and she had to explicitly ask for the clerk to change into a new pair of gloves. I watched closely and only observed one employee not changing gloves with each new order, so I dont think its a systemic issue, but still something to keep in mind if you have good sensitivities.
I didnt go to Pieology. I was actually at the T4 Poke place next door. For a generous portioned, inexpensive poke bowl, this is the place. The number of options of a large variety of add-ons is great. They offer things I wouldnt have thought of adding! The crew working there is a nice helpful group!
Normally I love pieology and would have given it 5 stars but noticed some changes and not to happy. I came in didnt mind the wait seen new faces then usual, ordered my food waited for 27 mins for my pizza. The 1st attempt they gave me the wrong order then they had to come back and ask me what I ordered. Had to walk back to tell them and it was still in the oven! They told me they would bring it out waited again and when they did finally bring it, it was cold and burnt. I asked if they remade it and he said no they just had too many pizzas to sort through. Never had this happen to me before. And there was only a family of 4 in front of my order and 1 couple after me. Noticed only certain reviews get a response back so I have to just vent and eat my cold burnt pizza. On a good day though this place is normally good maybe just a long day on workers.
I was a little annoyed at first when I called to order a pizza to-go and they told me they dont accept carry out orders, but when I actually went in the place and seen why, I totally get it now. Your pizza is literally done in 2 minutes so call out is pointless. About $9 for a vegan pizza that feeds 1-2 people so i was happy. Ive went back twice since then and its very consistent as well. Id definitely recommend to others :)

Let me start off with saying their pizza is passable. Its frequently slightly burned but its only once been innedible.But their service by delivery is among the worst weve had. They forget to include things like cookies and brownies if you order them (this was the fifth time, and the third consecutive time) and twice now theyve messed up a drink order.And when we had our ubereats guy go back, they sent us a broken cookie. In about 7 peices.Never again. Were finding a new pizza place. Their pizza is nowhere near good enough to make up for bad, petty service, no matter how inexpensive it is.
An underwhelming experience. I ordered a Margherita pizza, one of our usual requests. I’ve never had one the way they made it. They piled shredded mozzarella on it rather than the small amount of fresh mozzarella that normally comes on this type of pizza. For tomatoes they used cherry tomatoes cut in half. The taste left something to be desired. The Cesar salad was overloaded with Parmesan cheese. Employees were not the friendliest. I won’t be back.
2nd time visiting today. Both times I have placed online orders 20 minutes before arriving at approximately 8pm each time. When I arrived expecting to pick up my pizza and be on my way I was told told they hit a rush and were just now making my pizza. This is acceptable, I understand get slammed by a rush because I have worked in hospitality for 10+ years, but it cannot keep being the standard. Do not state a 15 minute pickup window on your online orders if you cannot follow through. The pizza is DAMN delicious so I will probably keep coming back. Decent Pizza, but FAST. I am not that big a fan of the super thin crust pizza, but they get it to your table really fast. Might spend a bit longer in line than Id like but once you make it to your table, your pizza is usually right behind you. And, theres something to be said for custom designing your pizza. They have a decent selection of toppings and sauces. Now if only they had beer.
I visited Pieology last week and it was my first time. I have heard from my friends and classmates that it was the same concept as Chipotle, but I had not been there yet. Therefore, I was excited about Pieology, besides that I was hungry.I got there around 7:15 pm and they were busy. While I was waiting in line, I tried to see if there was a menu in order to check the options and have my decision made by the time I would got to the counter, but I could not see any menu. When my turn arrived nobody greeted me, and the girl was just looking at me like she was just waiting for me to order. I told her “Sorry, it is my first time over here.” Oh! she replied, and mentioned the crust options: wheat, white and gluten free. I guess, she realized what just happened and asked me how I was and smiled. She was nice! The second girl who served the meat was absolutely quiet; she did not even say a word. I just said pepperoni.In the end I chose wheat crust with 3 cheeses, artichokes, black olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I liked it, but it was a little greasy on the bottom, probably because of the pepperoni. The girl who brought the pizza to my table was also very nice, and she asked very politely if she could pick up my order number.In summary, I really like this new concept of making your own pizza, and I think the prices are very reasonable, $10.77 for a pizza and soda. The wall with different quotes is great!
First time visitor last week. WOW!The flavors of the BBQ Chicken were just drool worthy.Even bringing our pie untouched back home to Sonoma, nothing was lost in the travel time except for fresh out of the oven heat, it was still packed with flavor.Will be returning soon! Next time gonna try the thicker crust! Then maybe customizing it.

Not having heard of the restaurant before, we were pleasantly surprised to be invited for a pre-opening special. The 11.5 pizza are build your own; i.e. your choice of crusts, including gluten free, cheeses, lots of veggies and meats make it a fun and unique experience. Almost as good was the realization that you could get in and out easily during a lunch hour. Staff was hustling, but friendly and attentive. If yesterday was any indication, the restaurant will do well in the community.
This pizza is amazing. Pick your crust and toppings! But with that said, the manger Nicole is very rude, disrespectful and acted like I was bothering her to order a pizza!! (Isnt that her job??).I will not return due to the unprofessional, rude and lack of enthusiasm from this manager. The regular employees were nicer and seemed more enthusiastic and excited to make my pizza.
This place is amazing! Youre order is usually done in less than 5 min and the customer service is fantastic! Amelia is honestly one of the best workers there! So hard working and makes your pizza to perfection!
Called to place an order and had questions... curtly told quickly they dont take phone orders, a young man rattled off delivery services, or to go online...Total hospitality failure IMO.Owner, I did not want or inquire about delivery, I wished to place an order I could pickup and have a couple questions answered. Great experience!! I went for the first time there recently and the staff is very friendly especially this one employee Bailey. She rung my friends and I up and she just seems like a very outgoing person! I will definitely be coming back for the great food and staff!
Fastest, cheapest and largest variety of toppings for a pizza. Get as much of whatever you want and its still the same prize. The pizzas are lean and lighter fare. Not greasy at all. I recommend the cookie pizza for dessert. Make sure you have a few peopleTo help you!
Great pizza made to order. Kind of like a nice Subway for pizza. Thin crust was tasty. Each pizza is about 10 inches, pretty big for one person but I just took two pieces home for later!
My cousin was in line for at least a half an hour before even ORDERING because they took all the online orders first. Most of the line was in there waiting to order. When his pizza was done, we asked to talk to the manager Phelan, and he fought with my aunt and when she said I may not be able to bring him back he said if you choose to to that it is on you not me and I wont have to deal with you. so she asked for his name for a bigger complaint because he wouldnt take one, and he said Ill write it for you in a very rude voice.
Pieology has to be one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The customer service is one of the best Ive experienced at a restaurant before. Also the fact that you can customize and their pizza are done in less than five minutes is the best part of it.
Good service! Crust is too thin for my taste but that is preference rather than a fault. New York style pizzeria lovers will feel right at home.
I needed to be somewhere fast so I called in asking if I could order over the phone and come in and pick it up and they told me it would be cold when I get there it only takes 3 minutes and I told them I was fine with my pizza being cold and that i was in a hurry and they still wouldnt let me order on the phone so I went in thinking I was only going to be 3 minutes and it took 15 waiting in line and for my pizza to be done. And when I got my pizza it was still cold.

Love being able to create my own pizza, but I wish the toppings were a little more fresh. The basil, cilantro, and spinach was not looking good. It was blackened/wilted. Other than that its a great place to make sure everyone gets what they want on pizza night and decent prices!

Hands down the best pizza in town.I have a gluten sensitivity so its great to still be able to have pizza they have gluten free and cauliflower crust along with the regular crust. The staff is great always friendly which is a plus.
My family enjoyed the pizza. No Celiac safe gluten-free options. They do have a gluten free crust. The servers were clear that there could be cross-contamination.
Everytime i come to piology everyone always has a smile on there face, The deep dish pizza is my favorite melissa always gets my order exactly how i like it. This is a great place for kids as well the kids love making there own pizzas!

I order a bbq chicken pizza, The gentleman behind the counter put hardly any mozzarella cheese on the pizza, chicken, onions and blue cheese (not even ON the ingredients list for this particular pie) and assured me the bbq sauce would get put on before it got to my table. Here i am with a sauceless pie I paid 10 bucks for. Stay away until they get more training or you order a la carte ingredients for your pizza.
I love this place, the pizza is the size of a small to almost a medium at other pizza places, I get to select what I want on my pizza from a vast array of toppings - starting with the sauce I do tomato sauce with stripes of BBQ sauce, and the best thing is the price under $12 !

Always amazing food. Some amazing staff and some unenthused new people always in rotation. But other than the occasional ridiculously rude or aloof employee the food is awesome and for the price totally worth a trip there.

Idk if the employee is a manager but Ive constantly heard her talk badly of customers to other coworkers loud enough that everyone can hear and its super rude and makes u think they talk badly about you too. This person also doesnt have basic manners and never says please, thank you, or simply hello.

Also I was here tonight and there was a huge puddle of water, and they barely did anything about to clean or make dry, that’s dangerous for customers, and also there was lots of grease dripping from the wall down onto food! This place needs to do better! Just seems really lazy or care! If someone were to slip and fall there can a lawsuit

2023-05-13 17:58:30I stopped by Pieology for a quick lunch while waiting for an appointment. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and prompt with service. I ordered the Fire Grilled BBQ Chicken pizza, a Coke, and a side of ranch. The flavors were fantastic and the toppings tasted fresh.The only negative was that the crust was slightly overcooked, with a few very burnt spots that affected the flavor, but the majority of the crust was good.

Female worker was trying hard male worker was the slowest most disorganized person Ive ever seen. This is for sure a management issue. They have two people working only one who is effective on a Saturday afternoon. The water puddle from previous reviews is still there on the ground and one of the bathrooms is broken. I honestly cant belive I waited in line for this pizza.

The guy got my name wrong and I waited a couple extra minutes... Ended up being 5:35pm when I finally got my food. Then, the order was incorrect and one of the pizzas had sauce when there wasnt suppose to be. They were also burnt around the edges which I have never experienced here. They worked quickly to remake them.I think the problem is with only 2 employees. They were clearly overwhelmed and could have used additional staffing. The two gentlemen working were doing their best but you could tell that other people waiting in line were annoyed at the pace.We really like this place but only when 3+ people are working... That seems appropriate and I have had many pleasant pizza purchases when its been properly staffed.

2019-08-07 22:47:24Pretty good custom pizza. I ordered the thicker crust with roasted red peppers, feta, and basil, which turned out pretty good. They also have Reeses peanut butter cookies that are tasty.

2021-08-29 01:27:17They use their hands instead of a standard scoop so the amount of cheese varies widely based on worker (nothing wrong with having small hands in general!). Tastes good enough though.
