Theres a lot of snacks to choose from. Its clean for a truck stop. We loved the huge selection of licorice. Lots of choices for sodas and drinks. Service was slow. They only had one cashier and they should have had 3.

No issues with paying at the pump, bathrooms were clean and stocked. The girl at the register on April 7th was a lifesaver!! I had reached for ibuprofen in my overnight bag while driving and deeply cut my finger on a shaving razor that had come uncovered - the cashier gave me a bandaid, it was a huge relief and I am very grateful to her!(And yes, I finally dug out the ibuprofen once I was sitting still at the pump!)

The place was busy. We waited for our food for about 30 min. The waitress said the kitchen was a hot mess and misplaced our order. When we got our food, my order was wrong. We usually stop at Black bear when we go on trips, this is the 1st negative experience we had.

Ms. Pamela treated my friends and I with the utmost respect and made sure we were taken care of, even with her own issues going on in her life, she provided us with a cool place to charge our phones when we were stranded, fed us and made sure we were taken care of each day we sat in the subway and walked around the pilot/subway. Being 2 states and 14 hours from home was a shell shock, and while it was a hectic trip, I will never forget the kindness shown to my friends and I while we were there. Thank you so much for running a clean facility, and allowing people in hard situations to have a safe, cool, welcoming environment while we were away from our home.

Nice pilot overall, subway in store. And other options to eat close by. Only a small number of pumps, an maybe 20 total parking spots. Don’t not come here any day past 5 am expect to park, not going to happen. Showers are clean here, an usually no wait any time of day. Overall nice stop. Easy on an off.

Thought it odd that the door to the truck driver entrance was locked and blocked off during the overnight hours but the place was clean, stocked and staff was friendly. Shower was small but clean and had great water pressure. Subway didn’t disappoint either.

Very clean and friendly. Easy access to and from the freeway. Restrooms were easy to find and very clean. Lots of water pressure in the sinks. Not sure if that is good or bad. But its better than not having enough :) i would stop here again. Their gas prices were also good. Lots of variety to choose from for merchandise. Truck stops seem to be the best choice. Also showers for those who need them. But beware no papertowels in the shower stalls because they expect you to have a towel with you so completely understandable.

What a friendly atmosphere! The kind and helping workers added together with a clean and well kept store equal and overall refreshing and honestly positive mood changing experience. When traveling far and in the heat, its a very needed change of scenery. Gas prices are the best around town and they have pretty much anything you would ever need for your travels and then some! Lots of good stuff! The staff is also very friendly. They sell food products but I have never bought anything. Their restrooms are very well kept and clean. :)

The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. My husband said the urinals weren’t draining and the urine was up to the top. In the women’s bathroom only two of six stalls had paper and one sink worked. There was trash everywhere. If you stop for the expensive gas, I’d avoid going inside!!

It was hot today &it was very cool inside. I was just about in pass out mode and the cool air brought me back to my senses. There was a fan in the bathroom even. I have seen a lot of things in bathrooms, but not a fan on hot days like today. The store was well kept & beautiful! Stopped in mid afternoon to get gas on my way from Arizona. The store front was being pressure washer so had to use side door. Facility was clean and well kept including bathrooms. When we were in line for checkout the manager was having a laugh with us about Florida. Very pleasant stop.

I like this Pilot! Its clean, updated and well staffed. Bathrooms are kept up and not left wanting. Fuel island is free of the general trash left around by lesser drivers. Good and easy on/off location to the freeway and various choices for food nearby.

I find the pilot travel center store to be very useful. Their bathrooms are usually clean which is a huge plus in my opinion. They have a lot of supplies to help you doing your travels. And their gas prices are very fair. If you send it for their rewards card you can even save more on their gas pricing. Overall the pilot travel centers are everywhere And I would recommend coming here.

A must stop when passing thru. Bathrooms are the most clean in the whole area. There is a lot of things you can get while in here, Food, gas, snacks, restaurant, even a shower if you need. There is a whole lot of parking area as well and you dont need to worry about not finding a spot. The staff is very nice and helpful and always maintaining the whole place in good shape. You can literally stay here for hours and relax.

Was reading reviews to determine if this was going to be a decent place to stop for my 10 hour break. Reading about regular customers who routinely start the pumps to put gas in their cars and then go inside, and get upset when they return to their car and find gas spilling onto the ground, lot lizards bragging about spending the night with trucks, and the idiot who thinks trucks are spraying chemicals into the air...I think I’ll pass this freak town altogether.

Mostly stopped here for a potty break. The Mens restroom was about what you would expect from a convenient store. Gas prices were comparable to the nearest competitors. I would stop here again if I had to but nothing about it was particularly impressive.

I stopped here to do laundry. Although the laundry room was small, it was clean. When my clothes came out of the washer, they were clean.The cost of doing laundry ($2.25 per wash, $2.25 for 45 minutes of drying time) did not seem unreasonable.The only restaurant here is Subway. I sat there while waiting for my laundry to finish. The dining room was clean.The womens restroom was also clean.The parking lot is small. If you want to park in the parking lot to catch some sleep, this might not be the place for you, but there is a Flying J, a Loves, AND a TA all at this exit, so one of them should have space for parking.

For its size this Flying J is clean. The building, store, showers and washrooms have always been in good shape when weve been there. The pumps can get pretty busy though. The parking lot is clean of debris as they use a little sweeper to keep this tidy...but other lazy truckers ruin the lot with dumping their stuff on the ground where it then bakes in the desert sun 😜

Slept in lot, did a ten. Got up about midnight about to leave got hot chocolate. Bathroom of course. Im willing to bet his football team will be hoisting Lombardis if he runs it the same way as he runs his Pilots. Plus, I hear its a fabulous company to work for. When you take the Flix Bus, they like to stop at truck stops to let the passengers walk around, to get something to eat or drink and to freshen up themselves. At this stop, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The store had a wide selection of fresh and fast food. I purchased two bottles of Bodyarmor sports drink to keep hydrated on this trip. The one thing I did not like was the high full retail price on most items.

I left after 30 min of wait time for a shower at 8pm. It was not even busy. The manager was socializing with the cashier. I suspect they deliberately let the waiting time pile up so that less people will reserve a shower and they have less showers to clean. Lazy people.

The premium fuel here is over priced. I am not a fan of this new tactic the truck stop are using where they advertise a low price for the regular (87 octane) fuel but then charge an exorbitant price for the premium (91 octane) grade. If you see fuel advertised for $3.49 a gallon, you dont expect the premium stuff to cost 40 to 50 cents more! Thats almost four bucks a gallon! I would recommend stopping at a regular gas station in town where there are plenty of places that mark up the grades by the usual 10 cents each.

The card reader wouldnt work at our pump. Three other customers were inside complaining about card readers not working. The bathroom was not clean. I bought a pepsi, got down the road to open it and found someone had already broke the seal and opened it and tightened the lid back up. Ill find another gas station next time Im in that area.

People getting gas here be vigilant on your card transaction. Stopped to get gas on Oct. 24, 2018. Get a lovely email questioning me about charges on my card. The charge was incorrect for 152 bucks. I did mean charges, seemed like somebody there tried to charge my account 3 times for 152 bucks. Glad I checked my email and my credit card company is doing a fraudulent investigation. Nice center, Barstow has really grown from the pit stop it used to be into a full-blown city!! You can find anything you like here now! And the Pilot Travel Center is no exception! As usual, there are big-rigs here getting gasoline and other services, the auto lane is not as clearly marked as you might expect, so stay alert when turning onto this side street to get to the Pilot. And the McDonalds next door had some problems with its drive-through lane. The line was one car short of being out to the street and I only sat in the line about 3 minutes, enough to know I wasnt going to wait until they got the line moving again.... But the Pilot Travel Center was customarily staffed and things moved inside there. Glad to see that a traveler can rely on the Pilot Travel Center, even if the staff is a bit grumby, things are still moving there.

A stop for the Megabus to and from Las Vegas. Theres an overpriced convenient type store here with a variety of prepared foods and fountain drinks. Theres a Subway restaurant. They have restrooms and they have showers.

The Pilot Travel Center is a very popular place to gas up, grab some snacks, and use the restrooms. The one suggestion would be is to have someone clean the restrooms most often than they usually clean.

Cheapest gas station in barstow that conpetes with food for lesses gas station. This gasoline is much richer and better for your vehicle and gives you better milage compared to the watery food for lesses gas makes ur CAT stink if you have an older car.
