Workers are polite. Food is great. Aside from chips sometimes being stale, I can guarantee their baked goods and desserts never disappoint.

Where do I begin? Everything I have tasted on the menu has been top quality! The hot sandwiches such as the meatball, chicken parm, sausage and peppers, and Cubano are all top tier and the cold sandwiches are made with more than enough toppings to satisfy a craving for an Italian sandwich like the Italian sub, turkey avocado, and cheese, or a prosciutto Caprese.They have coolers full of drinks and racks full of chips that are favorites and new ones to try!In addition, they have freshly made desserts like fresh baked cookies, cannolis, and gelato.In addition to everything that Ive just said the other half of the building is a market so you can get groceries to take home to cook for your family.If youre in the South Bay or San Pedro, this is a must-try lunch and dinner spot!

Cute little deli shop in a small, yet popular, neighborhood of San Pedro. I had the hot roast beef & cheese sandwich with horseradish sauce. It tasted good, but it was rather small and did not justify the hefty price of $9.80.

Authentic | Well stocked for drinks, hard to find natural snacks and of course sandwiches and salads galore. Great service, call in the order if you are limited for lunch because this deli has a strong customer base. Lots of interesting things to look at while you wait for your order to be made to order.

Delicious Italian submarine sandwich on a soft roll. All the flavors are on point. The meats, provolone, peppers and acidic vinegar are all very tasty. This is a quaint part of San Pedro with scenic Averill Park just blocks away. This family run business has a nice selection of deli goods . . . Meats, cheese, salads, pasta, hot & cold sandwiches, chips, cold drinks. Im greater for the experience and shall return. Good destination run.

Came here for some pizza ingredients. They have dough, cheese, excellent sauce and real pepperoni. Best pizza dough! I used it in my new pizza oven alongside some dough from trader joes. The pizzas from the TJ dough were ok, but the pizzas using the Pirozzis dough were amazing. Puffy light and perfectly done. Im coming back for all my pizza needs.

I love this place! The hot roast beef sandwich is great. They also sell pizza dough,sauce and toppings, that my kids enjoy rolling out and making.And the frozen pastas are very tasty,I love the ravioli.Staff us also great.The place does get busy, be prepared for little wait. I recommend looking up menu online and ordering ahead first.

Love this place. The sandwiches are delicious. They sell pizza dough, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and shredded mozzarella for making your own pizza at home. My family loved the pizza!! Very affordable prices. They sell Many other items; its a nice mini market and the employees are always very friendly.

Pirozzis is an excellent deli. Weve mostly ordered their sandwiches, which are excellent (better than Busy Bee Market in my opinion). They have homemade Italian cookies that we like to enjoy as well--so good! The lady behind the counter is so pleasant, helpful, and fast. I like that fact they they are open 7 days--till 2pm on Sundays. The only downfall is they dont stay open very late Mon-Sat so you have to pick up your dinner the day before if you work full-time during the week--cant just stop in at 6:30 or 7pm to pick up dinner. Weve tried their Italian pasta and salads and all are excellent. Go ahead, give this place a try if you havent yet. You wont be disappointed!

I always order the same sandwich and tell them 3x no lettuce no tomatoes. And they never listen. Very slow, no system in place. Sandwichs are thin. Nice people. Inguess im just to New york style. My advice, make a dam sandwich.

Being from the East coast Im pretty picky about Italian delis but this mom and pop place was fantastic. The regular Italian was delicious (4⭐) and served on a toasty hard roll. But what pushes this to a five star review was the friendly staff behind the counter who chatted with their customers and offered free samples when were curious about their recipes (Croatian beef). If there was pickles, onions, and hot and sweet peppers on the sandwich it would be taken to the next level.

Im not Italian, but damn, as I walked thru the door, I felt as if I was in a shop in Italy and surrounded by family. The welcoming atmosphere and attention paid to whatever my need(s) were, was exceptional (I felt like the short-relationship had been as if we had been friends for 20-years and just met again, post high school).Excellent, quality, inexpensive food that left an impression upon me. Soon, Im be visiting again.

I love this place, its a family owned business that sells Italian specialties. They make their own sausage, and they even have the Scilian sausage. Their sandwiches are great and house made meatballs are excellent, just like nonna makes.

This is my go-to place for a good sandwhich. Seems like the staff is strictly there for business when I go, as I usually just order and leave. No small talk included and Im all for it. Im only ever there for the sandwiches and premade pesto, and I havent been disappointed yet.

I LOVE Italian food. I picked this place to take my mom out for a special treat after an afternoon of driving her around San Pedro & her memory lane as she lived there in her high school years.I am sorry to say that it was a huge dissapointment for us both. I ordered a cheese ravioli and she ordered the eggplant parmigiano. The food was not inexpensive. I purchased a small amount of provolone cheese and our two lunch entrees for $27.00.There wasnt any comfortable indoor seating so we sat at a table on the strip mall sidewalk. The tables were all dirty so we cleaned it before sitting down. The utencils were so flimsy and thin that they were difficult to use. My moms fork & knife actually melted when she stuck them upright in her eggplant dish. The food was very hot. Unfortunately, the sauce had NO seasoning as any authentic marinara sauce should. It literally tasted like canned tomatoes and canned tomato sauce poured over the pasta. The stuffing in the ravioli was overly bland and tasteless as well. The eggplant was a number of thinly sliced layers of not tenderly enough cooked eggplant ant with a little cheese in between the layers & covered by the canned tomato flavored sauce. The dish came with a side of bread that was another whopper of a let down. The bread had no substance. It was like biting into a puff of air. Not even the crust was firm or crunchy.The woman who took our order was polite as was the young man behind the deli counter. The restroom was clean.I wont ever order from here again.

We had a cheese an avocado sandwich today and was very disappointed with the result. There was a single slice of cheese on the sandwich. Given that the name cheese is in the title of the item, I was expecting a little more.Makes me wish we had stopped at any Subway.Save your money, and give your money and business Busey Bee.

I usually order the turkey avocado, but there’s barely two slivers of avocado in my sandwich every time! I also got the pre made lasagna and the Croatian sauce. The lasagna was expensive and nothing special. The sauce and the lasagna was so salty I could not eat it, so I threw it away! Don’t call it Croatian meat sauce if you cannot make it right

I been eating at Pirozzis for over 30 years and I do miss the old store, but the food is right on the money. A family owned business with real Italian coldcuts and cheeses with the best sandwiches in town. They have a Croatian sandwich and the Cubano that makes them a head of the rest. Their hot Italia dishs will keep you coming back too, fresh made pasta sauce and even some Croatian dishs keep Pirozzis the first on my list when hunger strikes. If youre having a party, it could be your one stop shop. Pasta just about any way you want it and the home made meatballs youll want to hide for later and their deserts are one of a kind, the limoncello bread pudding and the chocolate bread pudding are to die for. When you open the door the shells grab your taste buds.
