I had the Mixed Shawarma Plate, super tasty. The woman working here insisted I try the Garlic Potatoes, and I’m glad she did because they were delicious. Everything was great. Nothing was too dry either.And the restroom smelled really nice.

I have been coming to Pita Grill for the past 2 years and they never disappoint! Their food is always top notch and the quality is delicious. I have tried Sheesh Kabab, Shrimp plate, shawarma plate, chicken plate and I usually edit with Potato Garlic and salad with kale salad or Armenian salad. Their food is so delicious that I don’t leave anything on my plate! Definitely recommend anyone who wants to try delicious Mediterranean food. Fast service as well and on point.

This place thoroughly impressed me. I tip my hat to the chef, not only for how great my salmon, rice and kale salad were; but he kept one of the cleanest grills and counters that I have ever seen in a chain set-up. I can’t wait to get back.

Overall food and prices are spot on. I love having lunch here. They are always fast and very rare they take a long time, even when crowded. Food always tastes good and its warm. They have a great variety of salads as well.

Just order a mixed plate with chicken and gyro. The food tasted okay, but the meat was cold... The chicken I had was probably from two days ago; it’s so hard to chew. I should have just stayed and eaten at home.

Pita Grill was out of lamb chops. I ordered the falafel pita. I was not offered a drink at the time of order. The pita was delivered wrapped like a burrito. It tasted bland. I asked for hot sauce. Also out of hotsauce. After eating, being the only customer, I looked at the cook and said thank you he ignored me while looking down. What is wrong Pita Grill team? Your falafel tastes as bad as your manners.

This is 100% the best place for a kofta/kefta kabob sandwich!! It is true Arabic style...simple ingredients, big flavor, and perfect. An added bonus is that their prices are really cheap. I am addicted to the kofta sandwich and have been going here once or twice a week for it. The meat is fresh, the spices are perfect, they do not add unnecessary/nontraditional things to the sandwich. Their plates are also good. Try the beat salad too!! The beat salad is so so so good. Overall, the restaurant is clean, with a casual style. Its close to the UC Irvine medical center, so it gets busy but they turn out the food pretty fast.

I usually go to Luna grill down the street, but decided to try this place. Much better than Luna grill and a little cheaper. I give it four stars because I have another place thats my hands down favorite solid 5 star down in Costa Mesa called Cafe America, shout out to Zafer.

Average and affordable food. Its conveniently down the street from my job, so Im able to call ahead to pick up the order. Gets pretty busy there around lunch time and the parking lot isnt the best, but I havent had any issues with trying to find parking around 12:30PM.Ive tried their falafel pita combo and the gyro pita combo, which comes with either a salad or fries and a drink. I actually prefer the salad over the fries. The fries are thick cut, but not salted. The combos are less than $8, and a great value. Service is fair and quick - great go-to spot if you ever forget to pack lunch.

First time I came here I found a big talking a wall on my artichoke just about I was going to put it in my mouth. Here’s how the staff handled it:1- “Oh you found a bug in your salad? Oh we’re so sorry.” In a very blasé manner.2- The cashier took the plate inside the kitchen and literally moved it onto another plate, but left the salad on the original plate. They then added salad from the same exact bin.3- No refunds were issued. No formal apology from the manager. Nothing. Just plain old “I hate my job and you the customer are going to pay for it” attitude.In conclusion, the place needs new management, and employees that have a moral backbone and extensive experience in customer service.

I always order the chicken shawarma and beef gyro. I absolutely love the beef gyro! Their employees are so friendly and helpful. I absolutely love this place, but I believe it could be improved if they provided actual plates, and not the black desposable ones.

The Pita Grill plates are advertised on their menu with your choice of rice or fries. The Falafel plate, which is listed as a Pita Grill plate I ordered, I was told did not, even though it says on the menu that it does. False advertising! The Pita bread that comes with the meal was cold out of the refrigerator though it is advertised as warm pita bread. The Falafel had too much cumin, so it tasted like a Mexican version, which I didnt like. The hummus was the only redeeming item on my plate, but I had nothing to eat it with. I threw most of my lunch in the trash. The restroom was out of order. Really a bad experience. I wont ever eat there again.

I have been looking for a place with good chicken kebob and this place has them. Make sure you get extra garlic sauce, it alone makes me wanna eat here at least once a week. Its not as fast as other quick bite places since they grill things on the spot, so be mindful of that.

I expect more. i am eating it now, but really have to write a review. its a good, clean, quick service place. i bought mixed plate- the one that they shaved the meat off the grill.salad is way too salty, lamb or meat is moderately salty or just fine (although i/m not sure i got both lamb and meat, maybe just one) but the chicken is waayyy too DRY. i have eaten a lot of this shaved meat/chicken across the world, but this is the first time im getting a very dry one. i think they would do a better job if they fix these- the dryness and saltiness. the customers can always put salt later by themselves, but it cant be undone if theyre salty from the beginning.taste wise - so so. nothing new. although i lovee the garlic sauce.

Im updating this post today, the food is still tasty but theyre not Keto friendly when you ask to substitute the rice/fries for more hummus/more salad for their entree plates. They instead want to make you buy everything separately and tempt you with unwanted carbs that youll be staring at on your entree plate. Oh and they dont even serve their entree plates with everything it used to come with anymore (meat, rice/fries, salad side and hummus side). Stingy and cheap. Not Cool.Weve been customers since their days in Irvine. Love coming here for beef or chicken kabobs- so delicious. Their perfectly fried falafels, hummus and also the pita sandwiches are always on point!

First visit. This meal was lunch on a weekday. Beware if youre vegetarian, they were out of falafels and didnt know when more would be ready, which was really disappointing.Opted for a gyro plate instead, which overall was good. Included was a side salad, rice or fries (I chose rice), a pita and a side of tzatziki. Salad is pre-made & pre-dressed, so you have no control over ingredients or the amount of dressing. Rice is mixed with a few peas & corn kernels, but otherwise just there to fill you up.Service was standard, food arrived to the table quick. Ill come back, but likely just because its currently the most convenient gyro/shawarma place from work.
