Good place. Nice staff Prices are reasonable and they give miltary/retiree discount (10%). We had the pizza combination pizza which has sausage, shrooms, onion, and bell pepper. It was really tasty and not drenched in grease. They do have daily specials and a lunch and dinner special. I highly recommend you coming to get some pie from these guys. It was worth it. Ill be back.
I Served the owner of this place in San Rafael and she asked me to come try. I love the pizza where I work but the dough here is superb! So soft it will melt in your mouth. The marinara sauce is awesome and its so hard to find a ranch dressing i like.. but here is one place i can do ranch. The lady i served saod everything is from scratch and it really feels like it. Pastas are so big i wasnt able to finish mine. But so delicious tho. Im happy we were 4 so i could try diff food. Id only add a little extra garlic to the bread stick tho. * garlic lover* 🤗
I like the meatball pizza. make sure to hit up happy hour for $6 single topping pizzas, dollar off solo sticks and good deals on beer. Barbecue chicken salad is another go to.if you work downtown make sure to mention it to get the discount.
My first experience with Pizza Solo was a pepperoni calzone from their booth during the Farmers Market for only $6. That calzone is definitely worth the price for the size and the flavor. I shared it with someone and they enjoyed it as well.I noticed that the food is a bit pricier from the store front than from the market. On the bright side, there is a much larger selection from the store. Any pizza they have can be ordered as a calzone or as a slice. They have other food to choose from but I was not paying attention.
Pizza Solo always feels super average. Its good, but not exceptional. Their pizzas are ok and the soups are good. But I think there are better lunch places around downtown.
Bought a pepperoni pizza. The Solo size. Spent about 9 bucks. The marinara sauce was wattery. The cheese and pepperoni were sliding off the pizza. If you enjoy holding down the toppings on your slice or holding your slice like a taco so everything stays, this might be the place for you. Otherwise just get one of their overpriced salads or go elsewhere for pizza.
A really good environment to hang out with friends and eat a meal as well as a good place to order ahead online for pickup if you are in a hurry. I would order ahead and they would have it ready to go quickly so Id have a good, quick dinner before a rehearsal.
Ordered through their website. Menu and ordering through their site was very easy! Their delivery area is small but I really liked how they delivered the pie on a bicycle thought that was very cool! Ordered a Mario pizza and a pepper chicken sandwich.definitely would order again! Experience was awesome!
This is the 3rd time. So i am writing a review and I complained this time to the manager. I spend a lot of money here and to me, getting ranch is a big deal. I order pizza, specifically ask for ranch. SPECIFICALLY!!!!! they show and say sorry man, no ranch, hope thats cool ...after They just said they would send some ranch and I quote: no problem man. Unbelievable
I really enjoyed the pizza here, not going to fault one of the back kitchen staff for mixing up my order mistakes happen. The clerk at the register was pretty lively and sassy and had great manners and the pizza was crisp and delicious!
Love it, they recently started offering dairy free/vegan cheese and its easier on the wallet than Woodstocks. Plus they can make you solo stix entirely vegan! Yum

SLO has some great small businesses, and Pizza Solo is a nice local stop if youre looking to share a pizza or (as the name suggests) have your own. Pizza Solo has more interesting combinations than your normal Dominos, but fresher than CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) with the added bonus of options for outdoor seating.A few favorites include the thai chicken pizza, which is not super authentic but has a touch of SouthEast Asian flavor, and their BBQ chicken. The BBQ Chicken salad is also solid if you are trying to avoid cards. The pizzas dont take too long to make and while not as fast as Blaze is much faster than CPK.If youre on a budget (i.e. in college) I would recommend Blaze, but for out of towners or those looking to chill and soak up SLOs sunshine, Pizza Solo is a nice stop in Downtown SLO.
Great pizza place downtown. Outdoor sitting lets you people watch while you have good pizza. Ive been coming here for over 10 years and I highly recommend it!

This place has good pizza and a nice, quiet location. All pizzas are personal sizes which is nice so no compromising with friends and family.
First time here and we ordered a large chicken pizza with alfredo and was so good, I will definitely return again on my next visit to SLO I highly recommend for everyone to try and taste

2018-06-29 23:14:19I was on a trip from Sequoia National Park and I was looking for a local place to eat before the 4 hour trip back home. Dominos was nearby but I had a feeling this place was going to be fantastic. Great place for hangouts with friends, the food was amazing (much better than just getting something from pizza hut and leave without enjoying the city), and the staff was very chill and polite. If I ever come back around to see Mission San Luis Obispo, Ill want to stop by here and grab their pizzas. (Haha and Id want to try that Smash Bros. Pizza if I get the chance)

They also have Coke products which is always good for me.I have also had the pizzas and my daughter gets the salads and says that they are great.The staff are quick and friendly and the food is amazing. What more can you ask for.

2018-01-16 23:12:59Tasty pizza! I ordered a large Thai Pie and split it with my fiance. We both had 4 slices and it ended up being pretty filling. Im not usually a fan of thin pizza because they sometimes dont fill me up, but this one did the trick and i really liked the crust. Not too bad for $15, I recommend it.

They have a bit softer dough than other places (which I prefer) and a bunch of pizza types that you wont see anywhere else (Im looking at you, Thai Pie!). Their service is mediocre, but its balanced out by the delicious pizza and the prices.Protip: Their everyday lunch special is a personal pizza, salad, and a drink for like $12. Totally worth it!

2018-08-08 05:13:55I took my wife and kids here thinking that it was going to be a quick meal before the movies (see ratings on the downtown center cinemas) but it turned out to be the highlight of our little family date. The pizzas are small but they take the train to flavor town. They have, I hate to use the word but..., almost a gourmet menu. Its not every pizza place that has gouda or fresh cilantro as an option on a pizza or a salad with spinach, candied walnuts, feta, and vinaigrette (and I think dried cranberries but Im not sure because it was for someone else). Anyway, one of the best pizzas Ive had in a very long time. I suggest the chicken bacon ranch pizza.

They have the kind of pizza where if you save it for tomorrow, the crust isnt all hard and stale, they make it right! There are a lot of pizza options and I enjoy the prices, definitely cheaper than Woodstocks 😒 and also, remember to buy the $15 certificate worth $25 deal on yelp!
