Vegan pizzas are so good here. There are so many options. I came a few years ago and was not a fan but they have changed things for sure. The crust is the right amount of thickness. They dont skim on toppings and flavor is really good. Prices are right especially with the different sales they have each week. Dining area is clean. The server is always really polite and attentive.

I dont eat dairy and red meats and I found this pizzeria. I was very pleased. My husband who usually is picky on his food was very satisfied and my 3yr old also loved it!! The service is amazing as well. I will definitely go back

Really well composed pizza. Solid and the value is there! Will definitely be back.Bonus: the crust perimeter is minimal - good enough to eat. Some pizza crust perimeters seem like 500lb breadsticks. Nobody needs that.

Hands down the BEST pizza Ive ever had! I love their chicken artichoke pizza, but everything on their menu looks delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients and the dough comes out perfect and tasty all the time! Try it one time....and youll probably never want to eat at another pizza place again... they are now my new favorite pizza place 😋

Wow! I came here with my bf who is not a vegan & he kept commenting that it was some of the best pizza that he has had, to which I agree! He got the Buffalo pizza which had an excellent hot sauce instead of marinara, the spice level was maybe a medium. I had the pesto artichoke pizza which had a most excellent pesto and was generously topped, and drizzled with creamy garlic aoli. The pizza was not overly oily despite having pesto, cheese, and aoli. The flavour was rich and satisfying and didnt leave me feeling over indulged (despite that confessedly I also dipped it in their great ranch dressing). The price for 2 personal pizzas and a soda was just under $30 which I felt was fair for a vegan restaurant. We will probably order a larger pizza next time though its hard too choose which from the many great selections! We will be back for the garlic pesto knots and the cinnamon bites next time! The man working was friendly and attentive; it took about 20 minutes for our order to be cooked and served.

Just had the best pizza of my life! Ordered a large Gluten Free Cauliflower crust pizza and added red onions, mushrooms and half jalapeño. From the 1st bite this pizza had amazing flavor. For dessert we got the 8 pc Cinnamon bites that come with a topping you pour on yourself. Been eating a lot healthier and definitely adding Pizzeria Halt to our favorites list.

The staff was very friendly and patient and the food was amazing. Everything was top tier and they really cater to vegetarian and vegan diets. Even if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan there are plenty of options for all customers and you won’t be disappointed. My girlfriend and I ordered the chipotle chicken pizza and it was so delicious we ordered a butter chicken pizza to go just so we can enjoy it later.

We walked into the establishment and was welcomed by a big smile from the workers as my kid loudly asked for a pepperoni pizza with so much excitement. The restaurant was very clean and had menus as well as specials for different days. We saw that they had a lot of vegan options as well which is pretty cool. So glad we decided to try a new place. He was so patient with assisting us with our order by suggesting the most popular selections. The pizza was delicious! Chipotle chicken pizza was so good! So much flavor! I know I’m going to be craving it from now on. They even put the pico de gallo in a cup on the side and mentioned in case my kid wanted to try the pizza itself since it has a bit of a kick. Family enjoyed it ! We also got the pepperoni pizza and got the approval from my kid with a big thumbs up! That means a lot when you got a picky kid. We also ordered the hot wings sweet chili flavor. The flavor was not what was expected from a typical sweet chili. It was pleasantly delicious! Not too spicy-more mild. The wings had a crust that absorbed the sauce. It wasn’t chewy so that’s a plus. I just moved in to Modesto from Eastbay. I had a low expectation for food in Modesto. This was a pleasant surprise. I had a tomato veggie pizza. I am not a vegetarian so i did not expect it to be tasty. This was great. I love this pizza place. Such an unassuming place but this will be my go to place from now.

It’s usually not easy to find a vegan plant-based pizza place let alone one that has so many options! I chose the pesto artichoke pizza in the personal size (4 slices) which was really good, light but filling, and not greasy at all. I’m excited to try out more options! Just a heads up that they are prepared fresh (takes maybe 20 or so mins), so order ahead if you’re in a rush but there’s plenty of shopping to do in the area while you wait. Hope to see more vegan pizza places like this 😊

This is the only place in Central Valley region that has so many wide variety of vegan pizzas available. I am really impressed. And theyre all delicious too. Thus, even I have to travel 50+ miles, I go there frequently. Definitely recommend all the vegans to try them.

Hands down our favorite vegan restaurant in modesto, every plant based pizza weve tried (and weve tried almost every one) is amazing, and our orders are always ready on time and are hot and fresh. so grateful to have so many vegan options here as there arent a ton of others in town. all my non-vegan friends and family love it too even though they can be hesitant to try!

The only confusing thing about this place is their size names. Their small is actually a personal. Their medium is actually a small, etc. That’s why the prices are so low, their sizing is different than other pizzerias.We got the tandoori chicken pizza and the curry pizza with paneer and both were incredibly tasty. We also got a cheese pizza for our six year old and she loved it.

Excellent plant-based / vegan pizza! Possibly the best vegan pepperoni pizza Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot of vegan pizza! My order was ready very quickly, so quickly that I was quite a bit late to pick up but they kept my order toasty and warm.If youre not vegan and looking to try it out, I recommend going with any of the chicken-topped pizzas as its a convincing substitute. So visiting modesto from El paso, tx.... the Chipotle Chicken Pizza was pretty F-n Bomb, yes the crust was a slightly hard to bite within the center but the flavors, meat, outside crust and all ingredients were so damn good. I love pieology but this was so damn good I ate the entirety of a 12 inch pie and would love some more especially with the Chipotle sauce... 👍🏽

The food here is so good! I ate here with my family who all have different dietary restrictions and we all really enjoyed it. Its vegan artisan pizza, so it is pricey, but I feel like its definitely worth the price. The pizza, garlic knots, and cinnabites were exceptional and the pizza was so filling. You can also get a cauliflower crust if youre gluten free! Im a non-vegan with no food allergies and I fell in love with a vegan gluten free pizza, so I think that says it all, haha. Definitely coming back!

Highly recommend. I received a coupon for a free personal sized cheese pizza. I have never tried Vegan pizza before. What I was expecting and what I got were two totally different things. What I expected: Cardboard crust and something that resembled pizza but tasted unlike pizza. What I got looked like pizza and tasted exactly like pizza the ingredients were FRESH and the cheese although Vegan tasted like regular Mozzarella cheese 🤯 if this is how Vegan food tastes Im seriously considering converting.

I was completely unaware of this place until it came up on DoorDash in a search for keto, and was thrilled with the Keto Hummus Pizza and its cauliflower crust- something I was nervous about, but which ended up being delightfully crispy and with no discernible cauliflower taste. DoorDash described it as diabetic friendly; its not clear to me if the pizzas toppings (hummus instead of sauce, no vegan cheese, etc.) were chosen specifically to keep carbs down, but it was still very tasty. The only thing Id change (other than maybe making the pizzas a bit more budget-friendly) is some nutritional values to let customers know exactly how keto it is and how many slices we can indulge in at one time :)Even though Im a meat eater, Im glad this vegan pizzeria is an option for folks here in Modesto and look forward to swinging by to dine in!

I was excited to try this place out being a vegetarian in Modesto. I tried ordering a personal size Hardy Boy online but unable to because there is a $20 minimum, even for pick-up. So I called and was told that they cant take credit cards over the phone. Ok, can you take my order and Ill pay when I get there? Nope, they wont let us do that either.Its 2021, theres no reason that ordering pizza should be this difficult.So I get there & order, ask if they can substitute olives for the onions. She doesnt answer the question and proceeds to ring it up as extra charge for olives. Oh, you cant substitute it? The register doesnt let me do that she says. Quite frustrating & annoying considering other pizza places dont have a problem subbing one veg for another.The pizza was ok. It had good amount of toppings, and great flavor. Downside was the crust, perfectly cooked on the bottom but doughy/not thoroughly cooked on the top. Great idea, poor execution.

Called in the place an order. Apparently they dont take orders over the phone. You can do a delivery service like GrubHub ($$$$)but outside of that you physically have to go in to the location, place the order and then wait for your order. This was a little odd to since we are in a pandemic and most businesses are trying to avoid people piled up in the lobby waiting for orders. Then they declined my card but put a hold on those funds. Then they charged my friend twice. Killer food but a bit of an odd set of rules. Have the owner call any pizza place and try to order something over the phone. They will for sure take your money unlike this place.

I bought butter chicken pizza 🍕 and I’m still lovin it . It’s the best Indian restaurant in town . I’m looking forward to another lunch at this restaurant .

I got veggie tomato pizza vegan and if they can make vegan pizzas taste immaculate then Im sure the non vegan version are great also! Very friendly staff and atmosphere was nice and welcoming! Definitely gained a new re occurring customer!!!!!
