Don’t be fooled by the 4-5 star reviews. I was really hopeful this place was going to deliver with the reviews I read. The ginger was dry which is always a bad sign… sushi was trash. Fish was extra fishy and not fresh. I hate giving these types of reviews but have to warn my fellow sushi lovers that are trying to find some good sushi in Rocklin. Unfortunately, no restaurant in this area has made a good impression. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

It was ok-ish. Ive had worse but I have also had way better and for a much lower price point. Most likely wont come back, there are way too many options in the area that blow this place out of the water. The parking was horrendous too, super frustrating.

My go to Sushi in Rocklin. They are consistently good. Every now and then i find an extra order of edamame in my take out. Love them and have ordered take out from them weekly for past 2 years. Keep it up please!!!

Update 9/2/2021: Disappointed. Have been going to PK for as long as we have lived here - great food, great service, and a wonderful experience for the kids. Called in a to go order, but no longer allow any changes for the kids meals... ok. Kids meals used to come with a little lego-type toy and a drink - no longer. Ok. Ordered for my wife and I - total was 30% more than the menu prices online. Im calling the restaurant, to pick up, not using an online service... call back to check and make sure I didnt miss something, and get told the kids meals now cant be had to go. Meh, never mind.I totally get the pandemic is hurting businesses - Im here, not ordering through an online service like Chownow or Uber Eats, trying to keep my money going to the business. Oh well.Delicious, clean, friendly, consistent, fresh. Thats why we keep coming back!

This was my first time trying PK Sushi and it is one of the best sushi restaurants that I have tried. The owners are very friendly as well as the staff. Cassidy was my waitress and she did a great job making sure that my first time at the restaurant was great. The food was soooo good. If you have not tried the titanic roll...you should 😊. I consider myself a sushi conniseuer and have eaten at most sushi restaurants in the Sacramento and Placer counties. Was recently introduced to PK less than 2 weeks ago and Ive already been three times. There are some much more known restaurants with big names that do not even come close to PK. Big fan for sure.

This place used to be good but quality has really gone down. They are just a little better than grocery store sushi. On our last order they did not seat the tuna or add masago, like the menu description said. I called them to let them know. They said they do not have masago anymore, like it was obvious and I should have known. The manager was very unapologetic and didn’t care if they messed the order up. I related we wouldn’t be back and she just said Ok, with a smile. There are a lot of good sushi places in Roseville; this isn’t one of them. 👎🏼

This sushi establishment has not disappointed. Service, impeccable. Sushi, mold free. And you might be asking yourself, why would there be mold? Well, I’ll tell you why. Because, according to my girlfriend, Shanna, around 50% of the fish establishments she’s visited throughout her illustrious life have shown, on one visit or another, signs of mold on their fish. Not PK. No way, PK!!As an aside, Shanna will pick out at least 1/3 of the cashews in a bag of cashews and refuse to eat them due to mold. So she knows her mold. And she won’t stand for it.And so here we are, mold free, happy hour lucky, and kickin it with the PK crew. 5 stars

We’ve gone here a few times for dinner and a few times for take out. It’s been pretty solid, maybe a little more expensive than competitors but we’ll worth it. The unagi sashimi is a favorite of ours and the bentos for lunch are definitely a great deal. We think of this place whenever we’re in Rocklin and want sushi.

Really really wanted to like this place. But every freaking roll they have features onions. This is the ONLY sushi place that Ive ever known that puts onions in all their rolls..not every one likes onion and it really really takes away from the other flavors because onion is so potent that thats ALL you taste. Heres the thing...I HATE DANG ONIONS and I ordered mine without...but because they come in every freaking roll the smell and the flavor is just attached to everything even if you have no onions. I wanted to like them as I love sushi. But they ruin the rolls with onions.

My wife and I just ordered $50 worth of sushi from this place to go and $40 of the sushi was inedible. We ordered 2 California rolls, a king roll, a lion king, and a yummy yummy. To start, the chicken in the king roll was disgusting and chewy and bland. Secondly, the crab in both California rolls and the yummy yummy was the furthest thing from fresh, very chewy and honestly might have been off. The only good roll was the lion king and that’s because it had a bunch of stuff to mask the flavor of the old fish. My wife and I got home and had to make dinner on a Sunday night after wasting both our time and money at this place. So disappointing!

Best sushi in all of Roseville or Rocklin. The sushi is so fresh and they have delicious combinations. Because of COVID you place your order inside and then wait outside for your order. At the time we went they did not have outside seating so you have to grab and go which kind of sucks (although I did ask and they said theyre putting a patio out soon). The kids meals are SO much food and its a great price. Love this place and you can get beer to go!

Subpar sushi rolls; bland, not fresh tasting fish, over sauced, too much cream cheese and over cooked on the cooked rolls. The prices do not reflect the lower quality of food. The service is good and food was served quickly. The ambiance is typically laid back and not super bright lighting. I was disappointed for the quality of the sushi rolls. They definitely overcharge for what is being served.

This was our first visit to PK Sushi and we’re glad we ventured out! We were greeted and seated promptly and offered a beverage right away. We both ordered a Bento Box. I had a #1 with the rock shrimp and my SO ordered the #2 with the California Roll. Plenty of food and very tasty!!! I like the ambiance and their selection of music. We will return for sure!!!

This is the best sushi Ive had in the Sacramento area. The wife and I make a point to come here for lunch at least once a month and love the crazy boy 2 roll. The staff is also very friendly and efficient. Overall an excellent experience every time we go.

I am very dossappointed at this place. Ive been coming here since they opened. I ordered today to go the creamy shrimp for $16 like Ive done many times before and I always say no spicy sauce but it still comes with their special sauce and torched. I was alredy far when I was able to eat it and I found out they only gave me plain white rice with plain shrimp on top I called to see if they could some how give me a refund because this taste like nothing! and Im not planning on eating it. The lady was so rude saying that I could go and get the sauce when I told her I was too far to go for it, she just didnt care to give a good customer service or atleast apologize. They are getting very cheap, my daughter doesnt like avocado and she asks if they could replace it wit cucumber and they want to charge for the cucumber!

Their yelp page has house rolls listed for 50% off, which is the reason we came. (Who doesnt love a good price on sushi?) When we get there, order, and receive bill, none of the menu rolls were half-price. When we showed them the ad they just said, yeah, I dunno... Thats an old picture and wouldnt give us any price break, nor provided good customer service the entire visit. The rolls were a solid 4 out of 5, the service, not so much.

They have options of a grande size for some of their more popular rolls which is nice because I often want just a little more when I order a normal sized roll elsewhere. They are very nice about substitutions with their rolls. I often go with coworkers and the one who does not eat sushi likes this place because of the chicken.

Let me start by saying, PK Sushi use to be really good, but today was SO bad. We got three rolls, the rice was hard, the fish wasnt fresh, and the ginger wasnt fresh and was warm. I kind of knew it when I walked in to pick up our order and the restaurant smelled very bad (too fishy, because fish isnt fresh). I spent 10 1/2 years in Japan, and my wife is Japanese, so I think I know what it should be like. Just beware, this was probably one of the worst orders of rolls Ive ever had.

My family and I love going to this place! The All You Can Eat is awesome! They have an amazing selection of everything from apps to hand rolls to house rolls and sushi. We all have our favorite items that we immediately order when we get there, and usually finish with as well! They also have some nice dishes for children, which makes it an enjoyable experience for everyone of all ages. You can all get a sort of customer loyalty card that gives you an All You Can Eat for free with every 12 you buy. The only complaint that I have is I always manage to get there in between 2:30 and 5PM, when they are closed from lunch to dinner. This has happened the past three times Ive tried to go there....grrrrr! I look forward to my next trip there!

Our go-to sushi place. Not the best sushi I have ever had, but solid, close to home and decent prices. If you go with the all-you-can-eat menu, its easy to get your moneys worth. You can only order AYCE if everyone in your party also orders it, so I dont always get it depending on who I am with. The regular menu is good. Staff is friendly.

This place was terrible all around. The descriptions of the sushi sounded so great, but the actual end result was plain and almost close to inedible. The rice was dry and had no flavor and the tuna looked neon pink as clearly it had been dyed (I’m actually not even sure it was tuna at all.) At least the manager refunded our money as we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it, although she wasnt interested in hearing our feedback and instead told us snidely “maybe it just isn’t for you.” Correct. Fake, flavorless sushi at high prices certainly is not for us!

So based on all these great reviews we tried this place last night 2/15/13. It was busy. but the staff was friendly and we were seated within 5 mins. The food came quick and looked nice, but after the first roll, they all started looking and tasting similar. WAY too much rice!!!! (one of their rules with all you can eat is that you have to eat ALL the rice or you get charged more) So much sauce is dumped on every roll that it looks like a orange nuclear meltdown with slop all over the plate. Not artistic, just sloppy in my opinion. We even tried a hand roll to get away from the sauce, but there was so much rice in it that I could not even find the fish. We also tried some raw tuna on rice and that piece of meat was super thick.... at least 1/4 thick and wasnt the best tuna either. I will not be going back, and I cant believe so many reviews on here were that good!!!

Weve had the Spicy Killer, Double Killer and Crazy Boy2, and Fire Exit. (Can you see a pattern of spicy? --thats how we roll.)The prices seems to be compeditive as well. We have not had the all you can eat because were really not into stuffing ourselves like that but it also looks to be a good value with some nice selections.

Food is amazing, service...not to much. Weve been here 3 times now, and 2 times they had forgotten my miso soup and my fiances and my appetizer. And when my fiance asked for a fork to eat his bento box, every time they forget and I have to walk up to the register to grab it. I tipped the busser more than the waitress... every time we went, if I got up at all and wasnt going towards the bathroom he would approach me and ask if he could get me anything. Nice guy. Terrible waitresses, every time they are too busy chit chatting than to actually serve people their food.

I had my first experience of PK Sushi with a co-worker who offered me a piece. It was delicious and I was sold! I ordered pickup with my SO and we were thoroughly impressed. Our order was ready promptly and we were greeted with a smile at the door.We decided on the PK 2, Rocklin 1 and Jack Special. The PK 2 was decadent, rich and the perfect compliment to the Rocklin 1 and Jack Special. The Rocklin 1, milder in flavor, was incredibly easy to finish a roll of. Now, as for the Jack Special... just fantastic and truly the star of the meal. It felt like an evolution of the Rocklin 1. The contrast of the deep-fried shrimp against the rest of the roll was a textural delight. The spicy tuna added just the right amount of heat. Ive been craving it since! I regret not taking some photos because the rolls were gorgeous.
