I grew up in this area and have gone to this center all of my life. I stop by the Dollar tree a few times a month. They always have something I can use. I will often get kitchen gadgets here and if I end up, liking them and using them, I will then buy the more expensive, better quality product elsewhere. You cannot beat there prices on foil pans, which I use a lot at the holidays, and left over containers. When I only pay .25¢ to .50¢ it doesnt matter if I get it back or not. I give my holiday baked goods in containers I get there every year.
All shops in one place, and plenty of parking
So many units are empty there could be way more options available in the area if there wasn’t so many. Makes you think they’re asking too much for rent.
Good location. Even though everything closes fairly early and the parking lot gets crowded at times, there is a good selection of stores (rite aid, dollar tree, Sallys beauty supply, game stop, etc), food options (Starbucks, frozen yougurt, Wendys, Vons, a sit down Italian restaurant, etc) and 2 banks (wells Fargo & chase).
This is sort of a strip mall except that it is a bit too large to fall into that category. This shopping center covers a full City block. It is anchored on one end by a very large and recently remodeled Pavilions grocery store and on the other end by a Rite Aid drug store. In between there are a lot of smaller store and boutique type businesses. It is an eclectic collection of businesses but some are pretty interesting and useful. There is also a Wells Fargo Bank and a El Pollo Loco restaurant on the edge of the parking lot near the sidewalk. Like I said, this is a large complex so there is plenty of parking as well.
We arrived at the right time for getting in the Dollar Tree. There was no line to get in but it was busy inside. Checkout was a bit different. There was a line to the back of the store but it moved continuously as their were 3 employees working the checkout lanes. I would still go back and wait if I needed to as I enjoy shopping here.

A very good place to do your fast shopping visit almost everything that you will need in a small convenient stores. Pavilions, Starbucks, Dollar tree, WF Bank etc. They have a spacious free parking that is good for people to come and stop by wherever they want to go inside the plaza.
Horrible Pollo Loco at this location. I have ordered from here 5 times in the last 2 years, as recently as Tuesday, & I have either not gotten my food or been given the wrong food & bad rotten food! Rotten yellow & brown broccoli with the texture of wet cornstarch type packing popcorn, the skinniest chicken with no meat on the bones; I order beans & they give me rice, and the tiny container is only half anyway! It said right on the receipt, BEANS! Hard dried-out tortillas or tortillas so wet in the bag that they disintegrate! Delivery order contained no salsa & once I did not get my dinner at all! Guy dropped off some random order-things I dont even eat! Wasnt my name or credit card# on the bag either! I have never been able to contact anybody at Pollo Loco or Postmates even though I filled out the survey AND ASKED TO BE CONTACTED! (They dont even answer the phone at the restaurant!) I want my money back! Just horrible experience EVERY SINGLE TIME! After 2 years of trying to contact someone Im going to use snail mail and write a letter, a real letter with an envelope & stamp, to the CEO of Pollo Loco, Bernard Acoca! (The former one resigned!)
Used to be a nice center, but now--it is so dangerous. There is an unlocked outlet there, so there are people stoned out of their minds there to charge phones. It is so scary now. Manager is in OC and doesnt come, doesnt care how scared people are and doesnt care to protect their own businesses and allows the security guard to do nothing. No one cares. It is better to shop somewhere safe.

Dollar tree is a great store but do not ask any of its employees where something is or whether they carry something in particular. They do not know anything including what planet theyre on. Just walk around and look for it yourself.
Went to CoCo nail salon and it was a total joke. Never going there ever again. Lady cut my toe on spa pedicure, messed up my eyebrows, and burned my eyes with some kind of liquid to take of my eye lashes.
This is a mediocre larger-sized strip mall in the West Hill community. Primary key stores are Pavilions (basically a glorified Safeway) and Rite-Aid. The rest of the stores are comprised of the usual suspects - dry cleaners, shipping store, pool supply, ice cream, video games, beauty salons, karate studio, etc. And what block doesnt have a Starbucks? Wish there was more stuff closer.
I like this place. Beautiful woman all over. Starbucks. Pavillions. Rite aid. Wells Fargo. El Pollo Loco. Dollar tree. Yogen Frogart i didnt like because he wouldnt give me a spoon for my icecream i bought from Pavillions. Yeah. Way to lose a costomer.. Smh.
Went to the Dollar Store. This is the Nicest Cleanest Dollar store Ive ever been. Worth the trip to go a few extra miles for. Thanks to the staff.
I cannot speak on parking because we took an Lyft. But this location is beautifully constructed. And the shops and restaurants are prime choices. Good options were seafood, vegetarian, steakhouse, Asian cuisine asweets and ice cream shop and more. There are nicknack shops, furniture stores and clothing (of course). I especially like that its a village walk for all ages. With water attractions, a stunning climbing structure and reading nooks this place couldnt get much better.
Parking half the time is a nightmare, which a guess is to be expected. The trick to be will to walk a long distance. When you think about it, youre already walking a lot. After all, its shopping mall. So what difference is the distance of your car going to make. Its a tiny percentage of your total walking. Other than that, hey...youve everything at this mall...Apple store, food court, Target, etc.
I went working as jyve there. I notice there is brand new products for example ginger beers. Very interesting aisle setting expectation is so different from any stores. Not sure if this store is so special in this kind of city which I do not live. So far my opinion is verified as this store seems so special in due to friendly customer service being happy to explain how brand new product agreement as sale in this special store. Do not know if i am right. Good store with so simply business title such as you can say special Platt village shopping this city have around south california. Good little expensive price and awesome products including best varies of wine and beer. Ginger beer would be offered already!

A typical mini mall like most. It includes a $1.00 store, hair salon, Pavilions, Rite Aid, Starbucks, and a couple fast food places . Its kept up nicely and it appealing to most visitors.
From Pavilions at one end to Rite Aid at the other, this shopping center has everything you could possibly need. The only draw back is the parking lot. Customers drive around with their heads firmly planted so far up their asses that they should have a glass plate installed in their stomachs so they can see where theyre going.

I love the Platt Village as there are so many great places to shop. From Pavillions to coffee houses, Rite Aid, banks, Pool Supply, Dollar Tree, nail salon and beauty salon products, etc. -- this place has everything I need.

I live in the condos less than a block away from the shopping center and I am so happy that I have everything that I need I have so many stores that I love I have pavilions I have Sallys beauty I have yogurt so I have Rite Aid I have everything that I really need over there and Im super grateful and Chase Bank is there to then thats my bank so you know its really convenient for me and I love this shopping center highly recommended
The village literally has everything! Grocery store, cleaners, UPS, starbucks, even a hair salon. One-stop shopping! Always clean and very easy access
A very nice place to spend couple of hours...many good restaurants, stage performances and kids love the place as there is a play area to keep them busy...for kids growing up with Daniel Tiger watching can ride the trolley to get a feel
Went to Pavillions this store needs a remodel. I have been to nicer Pavillions. Its not laid out well, some of the.aisles dont make.sense and it dark and dingy.

The best thing here is the Pavilions market. It has great sales. It is the only one left of Vons/Pavilions chain for miles around due to our unti-monopoly laws.
Run of the mill strip mall. Has a Pavilions, Rite-Aid, Chase bank, Wendys, Dollar Tree, Starbucks, and other stores/restaurants. I wouldnt travel out of my way to come here but if you live in West Hills it has what you need.
Pavilions and more. A one stop shop for most errands. Lots of families and some older drivers- so watch out while navigating the parking lot!

2023-12-08 16:08:00I shop at this plaza because its at the very west end of the Valley and does not usually have a lot of traffic. 3-5pm by my place is a frustrating nightmare so its easier and less stressful to just drive the extra miles to shop here instead.Totally worth it with the Mission Burrito just a block away. Red burrito always hits the spot!

I have seen multiple minor car accidents over the past few months.As I was leaving from Vons Pavillions, witness 2 cars backing out of parking spaces not paying attention and rear ended each other.Again, be careful entering & leaving Platt Village.

2018-12-29 02:25:53While a little dated, this shopping center is large, kept clean and offers a lot of stores to take care of your shopping needs. There are two banks: Chase and Wells Fargo, at least two hair and nail salons,a Pavilions market, a Rite Aid, a Baskin Robbins, Dollar Tree as well as a dentist, optometrist and more. There is also an animal hospital. Parking is plentiful, with easy ingress and egress.

I really loved that spot. But yeah overall this place has everything you really need in a local strip mall/ shopping center.

Platt Village is a long storied large strip mall, with food establishments, nail salon, grocery store, pharmacy, bank, a coffee shop, poke food joint, and a few other businesses I cant recall.Unfortunately, its also a beacon for lower level criminals and sadly homeless folks, usually addicts and or mental patients co morbidly, sometimes you dont get the feeling that the place is getting more prosperous, that post lockdowns, the place isnt the same.But, there is a gas pair of gas stations there, a McDs across the street (Platt) to the west side of the street, and a wonderful liquor store called The Green Jug, Southwest of the intersection of Victory and Platt.One block up at Vanowen and Platt, is a mailbox/notary/livescan establishment, an Amecis Pizza, and a Mexican restaurant, 711, barber, and R.O. water bulk refilling business.Everything you need along that one strip of Platt between Victory and Vanowen.
