Play Lounge & Cafe in Palm Springs

Very cute space & concept. Well executed decor. The menu is a good start. My breakfast sandwich was good with their homemade buttermilk biscuit. But my friends Turkey with green apple & fig jam was a little disappointing for $18! Hopefully they’ll add more turkey or lower the price. The lavender honey latte was good but the mocha was just okay.$46 is a little steep for 2 sandwiches & two specialty coffees. The board games are a fun concept but give me something more to come back for.

This is an excellent new neighborhood hangout! We can never have too many hangout-friendly venues, right?!?Courteous friendly service staff, clean, cheerful setting. Mid-Century Modern vibe. Highly recommended, IMHO!Biscuits & Mimosas: Sometimes Sunday Brunch needs to be all about the bottomless Mimosas, and fresh biscuits!Yep at -Play Lounge & Cafe- the biscuits are made fresh daily!This weekend I had Biscuit Bonanza (bacon or sausage, egg, cheddar, & raspberry jam on a hot biscuit, with salad on the side) and a refreshing iced black tea (unsweetened & unflavored).It’s the perfectly peaceful, happy, sunshiny setting to enjoy the morning with friends or family, either indoors, or al fresco on the cheerful patio ..Ample parking, and this venue is near the PSP airport on the south side of Tahquitz and a great place to hangout if you are early for your plane!Peaceful setting with views of palm trees and mountains, Mid-Century Modern vibe inside with a variety of seating environments. Board games are available for use.

Very fun concept and great for locals. Nice selection of games, the brunch offerings were delicious. Spritz flight was great! Will love to come back with a group and play.

Absolutely loved my visit to Play Lounge & Cafe in Palm Springs!The highlight of my experience was the Biscuit Bonanza - oh my, what a treat! These incredible biscuits serve as the buns to what might be the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever had in my life; each bite was a perfect blend of flaky, buttery biscuit, savory sausage, and jammy sweetness.But thats not all! The variety of board games available added a unique twist to the dining experience. Our group played several hands of Monopoly Deal today. But they have an assortment of games to suit any group or age range. And the option to choose between cozy indoor seating and the vibrant outdoor setup ensures you find your perfect spot.Lastly, I must commend the staff for their exceptionally kind and attentive service. They were quick to offer recommendations and always served with a smile. Play Lounge & Cafe truly stands out as a gem in Palm Springs, offering a delightful mix of great food, fun, and friendly vibes. Cant wait to go back!

Had a great salad at lunch at the newest place in the neighborhood. Clean and inviting for a longer stay with games and nice outdoor space. Well be back!

Went to Play for the first time last weekend to grab some beers and see what was going on. Nice place with great staff that were really attentive. Had some beers and played giant Jenga and had a great late afternoon just hanging out... nice vibe. Large outdoor area to chill and have good conversations.But my obsession started the next morning when we went over to grab breakfast. BISCUIT BONANZA IS MONEY!!! Holy smokes! Now Im pissed because theres nothing like that where I live (San Diego area)!! Those biscuits defy the laws of physics! They hold together well when in your hand, but instantly become crumbly and delicious the second they hit your mouth! I had the bacon version, my wife had sausage as well as my other friends and we were all craving a second one immediately! Had one each morning we were in Palm Springs! Well be back FOR SURE!

Play Lounge is an absolutely wonderful neighborhood spot. All the staff weve met so far - Matt, Drew, and Justin - are welcoming and so friendly.All the coffees, espressos, and lattes weve ordered are delicious (bonus they make their own whipped cream). The food menu has a wide variety of meat and vegetarian options available from breakfast quesadillas to pizzas in the evening. Happy hour from 3-6pm on weekdays is a great deal with $5 house wines and $3 beers.The atmosphere is what wins it over though for Play Lounge. Theres tons of space inside and out to hang out, play games, and attend the many events they host throughout the month. From board games to trivia nights to craft events theres something for everyone. If youre looking for a remote work cafe, Play Lounge has you covered there too. Plenty of parking, fast wifi, and both sit and stand table heights.Play Lounge is definitely our new go-to spot and I recommend it to everyone who is a visitor and resident alike!

A great place for just meeting or playing any games. A great menu of unique items. I have had a sandwich and a breakfast dish. Both were out of this world experience. I highly recommend this business. Thank you Matt for all your hard work.

I am obsessed with the biscuit sandwich. This place is a super cool vibe and everything is so delicious. Love that they feature lots of local art for sale with the profits going to charity. Definitely check this spot out :)

What a fun atmosphere theyve created. You can tell they put a lot of thought and energy into creating a unique and enjoyable space. I stopped in for a quick snack. The cranberry orange biscotti is delicious! Yum! Im so excited that this place is so close.
