AMAZING!!!! Such good birria tacos! Mom and son shop, they are both sweethearts and so hard working! Starting their days at 7am with shopping and prepping!! Theyre open from noon to 10PM Thursday-Sunday. Birria was delicious and the meat so tender! Their topics are amazing as well, they have a wide selection of salsa, sauces, and topics that is all self service!

Phenomenal birria, shrimp, and asada tacos; and an equally (if not more) phenomenal service/experience that I had with the son and dad! It’s the epitome of true, authentic LA street tacos— packed with robust flavors and ingredients. It’s owned by the kindest and most friendly family, and it’s very apparent that they pour their heart and soul into their craft. Definitely telling my family and friends about this spot.

Quesabirria tacos!!!!! They’ve really upgraded their salsa bar (although it’s much more than that) in the past year. If you order a burrito, she’ll bring you the basic set you ordered, open faced, on a wooden plank. You then ADD YOUR OWN TOPPINGS (revolutionary), return to the chef and she rolls up the burrito for you. Absolutely genius. But what you’re really here for is the quesabirira tacos—cheese & birria taco griddled in its own delicious birria juice. Last time we went they gave us little cups of birria juice to dip the tacos in (which we then drank, because, hangovers). Just go here, eat then die & go to heaven cause this is it

Found this place while searching the area for great Mexican food. This setup was right on the sidewalk, but the family who owns it was very nice and the spread of toppings and sides was amazing! Had probably the best Mexican in my life. It was SO good. As others have said 10/10 here. No restaurant or places to sit, but if you’re in the area and want some amazing food, give this place your business!!!

If you havent tried Pobres Tacos then you are missing out! My husband & I have been going since they first opened and we are never disappointed, always raving about it to family & friends. Chef Janet is phenomenal and the quesabirria tacos, burritos and yes even sushi, pack so much flavor. Weve also ordered their tamales at Christmas and they were a huge hit. Family owned, fresh quality ingredients and just an amazing vibe every time we stop by.

This family owned and operated spot is hands down one of the best taco and sushi places in LA. Delicious food and amazing people. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Wow I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. Right away we were greeted by Cassandra who was so welcoming! And the chef Janet was just really getting down with the cooking. I love that it’s family operated and absolutely delicious. The quesabirra tacos and fish tacos were so amazing and the condiments were so flavorful and fresh. Once we got our food we said bye to everyone and the chef thanked us, she and her family are so sweet. I truly appreciated her presence, feels like one of your tias cooking up food on a good day. We will definitely be back! Btw they have zelle and another cash app which was really helpful!
