Delicious poke and tastes really fresh! Probably my fav poke spot in Long Beach. I love sitting outside and enjoying the view of Second Street. Service is great and quick. I usually get regular with half rice and half salad with the salmon and the octopus. The portions are also generous. My favorite sauce is the Nirvana and house sauce together.

As good as it gets!I ordered regular poke bowl with Salmon, Tuna and seared Albacore with white rice on the base. Plus you can add one scoop of all the toppings. Seared Albacore was amazing.

5+ Stars!This restaurant has been my go to spot for the last 2 years that I’ve been living in Long Beach.I always find my way to Poke Pola for lunch or dinner wether I walk, bike, or drive. They are located off 2nd street which is a great place to be. 2nd street has tons of restaurants, bars, shopping, desserts, and so much more all around. There is tons of meter street parking but it’s always full (Good Luck) they also have meter parking in the back.Poke Pola offers a great selection of everything. You walk up to place your order and choose your size, base, protein, greens, spice factor, and toppings. Everything is to your liking so if you would like less or more sauce, you can just let them know and they will do just that. Everything is always fresh, every time i go in I say “it smells fishy” in a good way lolThe portions are just right, most people I take say “wow, this is a lot” but I’m like “give me more please” lolThey have indoor and outdoor seating, so feel free to bring the pups and enjoy the outdoor seating.The service is always great, the owners are always present and from the outside looking in, they always seem to be doing anything and everything they ask their employees to do. The staff usually seem to be a younger group and they are always very friendly and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable on the menu and always helpful with suggestions if needed. Everyone seems to work very well together which is one of the main reasons I love coming back. A great team and environment brings in returning customers.I’m a raving fan of Poke Pola and I can’t wait to hear how much you love it as well.Enjoy!

Fresh, tasty, delicious. Im a huge fan of raw seafood and this is close to heaven. I dont like spicy food, so I always order my poke with zen sauce. The staff is nice and patient when everything sounds great and you need an extra minute to choose your proteins. Love, love!!!

We visited Poke Pola for lunch. They give a good amount of food. I liked it but the sauce or rice was a bit salty for me. Either way, if you havent tried it, I would suggest trying it. My taste buds may be different than yours. A bit expensive but it is second street.

We stopped one night not really knowing what to expect. What a delightful surprise. What impressed me most was the mount of protein they add to the bowl. I had plenty of delicious ahi tuna and plenty of it. The steak was very tasty. They have a good, efficient system to give you exactly what you want in your bowl.

I love Poke Pola! The fish is always so fresh, the staff is always so kind and so friendly, and the prices are great! I get a regular bowl (three scoops of protein) with avocado, and it ends up being $14. I feel like that’s such a deal for sushi grade fish. Plus, they now have the cutest little parklet in addition to their regular patio. This is one of my favorite go-to spots in Long Beach!

To be honest with you, in my opinion this is the best POKE. They have always fresh veggies and fish, rice is sooo fluffy so big + Everyone can find perfect combination because the have a lot of ingredients to choose. As you can see portion size is big so for $18 definitely worth. Don’t remember her name but black hair lady working there is soo cool 😎 I’m not a big fan of poke but this one is THIS ONE ☝️They have limited parking spots so be focused on the road 😎DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

So when this restaurant first opened, I would have given it a 5 star review, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the portion size was fair. Now, the prices have risen to an exuberant level and they are putting near nothing in the bowls for the price. For the large bowl, which it’s supposed to have 4 scoops, there were 11 pieces of fish, which is basically a scoop and a half. You’re better off driving however far necessary to get bigger bowls for near half the price

A good choice for poke if youre in the area. I found the veggies to be diverse and the sauces to do right by not overwhelming the fish. They have spicy options which is awesome. Most of the seafood was fresh but the salmon seemed to be chewy. They have outdoor seating for you and your dog which is nice.

I was there last night 2/7/23 first time . The person filling my bowel did not stop squeezing on the spicy sauces when I said STOP, THATS FINE 0, THATS ENOUGH!. TOO MUCH spicy mayo and sweet and spicy sauce. He just kept squeezing.I knew at that moment it wouldnt be good. Sure enough I get home $18.00 +2$-tip. And I take one bite and throw it away. I thought about washing it off the fish and throwing away the rice . Gross .cold rice, the tuna ahi was mooshy. No dinner for me.Im upset. Its way too expensive. You cant see what youre ordering . 10 people behind the counter. THAT I think is weird and Uncomfortable.I will not go back but if only to get a refund $20.00 for my bowl of over spiced mooshy tuna, 1gram of seaweed, 1/2 pinch of crab, and with cold rice. Blagh.I love poke but not in a congested crowded tiny kitchen noisy and 10 employees gawking at you will you consider ordering what you cant even SEE.. there was a woman with a baking sheet of fish using a torch to sear the tuna leaning over a sink.. that was weird. Seard is in a pan not with a crembrule torch..Id like my $20.00 back please TodayI love POKÈ on 1st in LB.

Ive tried Poke places all over CA and beyond. This is, by far, the best taste, most consistent quality, and quickest service. As I live close by, I go at least once a week and have made a point to introduce all my relatives and close friends to it! The options, in terms of calorie amount, taste, spicy level, and toppings, provide a pretty impressive range that Im yet to fully explore (I have my all-time favorites). I recommend it highly to poke novices and seasoned eaters alike.

I was holding off on trying this place for so long. I thought no way there could be a good poke place in Belmont Shore. Finally tried it tonight and it will be my go to for now on. Super fresh. Great sauce. First time here as were visiting from out of town. My son, who doesnt usually eat meat, asked for 2 servings of the marinated beef. He wanted more but was too full. Thats a huge win for me! This is one of my favorite poki places in and around long beach! Great atmosphere, quality fish, friendly staff and its mere blocks from the beach. Dining on the patio is great or taking to go is great! All of their protein options taste amazing,their vegetables are super fresh, they have spice levels for everyone!! I’ve lived 5 min away for over a year and sad to say I just started coming here because had I known how awesome this place was I would have made it a regular weeknight spot a long time ago. Their bowls are delicious and what’s best is that it’s quick. I usually order to-go because I get off late from work and want to eat healthy so this is one of the best options.Service is great, food is consistent. I usually order ahi tuna, albacore and salmon. The spicy tuna is spicy so watch out!

The guy complaining about portion size has got to be joking. Have been coming here once or twice a week for two years now and they always give you plenty of everything. I usually ask for half rice and half shredded cabbage and get a ton of both (sometimes I have to ask for less). Super fresh fish and the friendliest people. Toppings are generous and you end up with a pile of scrumptious food for a reasonable price. When my wife was pregnant and she delivered, this was her first meal request now that she could eat raw fish again.

This place is just ok. The service was meh. The flavors were fine. The place was a little fishy the day I came. Everything is made in front of the customers, which feels a little odd. Its very do it yourself. Pick up, clean up. You tip them, and then you seat and clean up after yourself. Felt kinda like take out. The service was a little cold- they may be great to everyone else, but there was no special treatment toward me. I went with high expectations, based on other reviews- my experience fell flat. Plenty of other great poke places around.

While I worked on second Street last summer I came here during my break at least once a week. Amazing quality! (We shared the back alley with them so I know their fish was fresh every day and they fillet it there) One of the best restaurants on 2nd st and one of the cheapest. The owners are so friendly and the staff is super nice. I enjoy talking with them when I still go in occasionally and catching up.They deserve to stay around on 2nd St!I have some heat tolerance so I normally go with the Live a Little or the House Sauce. House Sauce is on the verge of too spicy for me but is so good!! One of my friends is very good with spice and when she goes gets the spiciest and enjoys it! If you arent sure which spice level you should get, start lower and work your way up!

One star for their online ordering system. I tried to order on both postmates and grubhub but was unable to because of the way it is set up. It forces you to select three different protein choices, with no option to select two or three scoops of the same protein. This means if you are vegetarian you are forced to select a meat based protein. I will update this review based on the food if I am able to order online in the future.

I use to think this place was 5 stars but man has their service drastically changed since covid. They are SOOOO SLOW. The first time we visited, we waited 20 mins. The second time, we just left. Their pokl is good, but its not worth the wait and extremely slow service. Their workers need to work with a sense of urgency.The parking is limited, and when you have to stand 6 ft apart and wait a long time to order, its just not worth it. Might be back in a year or so to see if theyve improved. Until then, Ill find another spot.

This is my favorite poke place. They are generous scoopers, like that one guy at Rite-Aid who would give you a little extra with each scoop? Then again maybe their scoop is abnormally small to create this illusion... I doubt it though, that sounds pretty contrived.

One of the best poke places in Long Beach. Price per quantity ratio is definitely highest I have seen in the city and the fact its off second Street means clean facilities, great ambience, and high expectations.Poke Pola has effectively met all of these while still maintaining a reasonable price, about 10 dollars per bowl.Somethings I would like to see however; crispy onion sides, sides are actually a little limited.A poke-burrito machine, pokerittos are great to-go options.A little decluttering. There are a lot of objects that dont really provide much while taking up a lot of space; a table against the soda fridge that has potted plants on it, a macaron freezer directly across from it, and theres questionably placed tables next to the bathroom hallway.Overall great option.
