Cozy poke shop with delicious flavors! Menu is easy, typical build your own poke bowl. Regular with 3 proteins and large with 5 proteins. Had the salmon (x2), spicy tuna, and eel (x2), with a mix of aloha and spicy mayo. One of the best tasting poke I’ve had in San Diego so far!A neat part of the restaurant is they have chess boards, cards, and Jenga laying around, so you can play while eating! No complaints here and highly recommend you check it out.

Fast, fresh, tasty, and value for what you get! Friendly team works hard to craft your food from in-house fileted fish, steamed rice, fresh veggies, and all the fixins. Great 50% deal on beer or sake when you buy a bowl. Clean, organized, and parking was plentiful when we came for lunch on a Monday.

Loved the crab and all its deliciousness! Once you try one youre going to crave more. My husband had the salmon and loved it! Im not into raw seafood, so crab was great. Husband wishes we lived closer. ☺ Dennis the owner is AWESOME making great flavor creations!!

For a $14 or $18 bowl, customers are defintely being ripped off! And the worst part is your paying a higher price but the salmon is very low quality! Be aware if you go here the portions are a lot smaller than other Poke places and a little less than half of the topping options are an additional $1 charge each!!! Theres a half effort apology letter for the increased prices but that doesnt make it okay. Increase your bowl size for the large to make the cost actually make sense. They definitely skimp on cucumber, edamame green onion ect. Also a green spring mix would be better than arugula because the arugula over powers the favor of the poke. It would have been nice if they had ginger as well. Sorry forgot to take pic before eating

The food is absolutely phenomenal here and the service is top notch. Poke is my favorite food and this is by far the best poke in all of San Diego. Dennis always provides amazing service and is the nicest dude. Whenever I get Poke, I come to one place… POKEDON!! Thank you Dennis for always taking care of me

TJ Bowl -- Great poke bowl with chunks of fresh salmon, finely sliced vegetables, and mildly spicy sauce on a bed of brown sushi rice. Robust and satisfying. Great place to eat and hang out.

Not impressed. There are much better poke places. The portion was small. I also had a bit of trouble finding the place, so was not on time picking it up and was shocked to see my order was kept refrigerated. Would not recommend.

This place was decent but overpriced. $14 for a small bowl and charging $1 for standard add ons will probably keep me from coming back. I also didnt like that they didnt have a soda fountain. All in all, the food was good but not the best poke Ive had and I felt nickel and dimed.

Love this place! It is our new go to spot and it is amazing. The food is fresh and super tasty. I am always excited to be in the area because it means I can get some really bomb poke here. Staff is always extremely friendly as well and the service is fast.

Very overpriced for what you get. I understand it’s a small business, but as a consumer I also would like value. Some of my favorite ingredients at other places are paid extras here. As someone else mentioned, bowl is mostly rice as well. Also the taste just wasn’t for me… try this place out, but just be wary. As for me, I’ll head somewhere I can get more for less and know I enjoy it.

The fish is fresh but bowls are mostly rice. The smallest amount of fish I’ve ever paid $20 for. I get more for a medium bowl pretty much anywhere.

Pick your protein, tofu, tuna, salmon, or whatever your poke-lovin heart desires.We had a design-it-yourself salmon and white rice, and organic spring mix salad with ahi tuna poke, as well as a veggie poke.I loved my tuna salad poke. The flavors were fresh and vibrant. They were really nice and clean and even brought us our bowls to the table. We tried some of the frozen macaroon things and they were tasty. We had a Tokyo bowl and Aloha bowl ( i think those were the names) and they were very filling even though we got the smaller portions!

Wow! Amazing customer service from Dennis. I got a coupon for first visit and realized I left my purse in the car. He offered to place my order so I could eat there since I had my baby in the stroller. The Maui bowl was fresh and delicious. Nice and cool veggies on a hot day. Then when I drove back to pay, he even came outside to my car to make it easier than baby transport again. Ill definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I have been on a bit of a poke spree lately. Weve been ordering it a few times a week from a different place each time. I can easily say pokedons Maui bowl is the worst dish we have found in San Diego. It tastes like grocery store chicken salad, complete with old protein and way too much mayo to taste much of anything else. Thinking something must just be wrong with our order, we tried to call them but struggled to locate a phone number. There isnt one on Google or as far as we could tell, the mobile website. We finally found one listed on I think grub hub and it was To some random guy named Dennis with no mention of the restaurant in the voicemail. Seems like they dont want irate customers calling.I almost think their positive reviews must be fake, or the reviewers have never had poke before so they dont know what its supposed to taste like. No one could mistake this for good poke.

If it is not the only poke place in college area(and in the whole east county), I would advise any poke lover against this place. The food was alright, the freshness and taste were both okay, but compared to all the other poke spots I have been to all over California, they have a rather small selection of ingredients, there were only three options for proteins, salmon, tuna and tofu, and if you want to add a small scoop of spicy tuna, thats an extra two dollars. Unlike most poke place that offer unlimited topping, they charge extra even for a lot of regular items like seaweed or fried onion. Given these facts, their price is also a little too high, 11 dollars for a small bowl, and thats without any add-on. If you want to have as many proteins and topping you usually get from other poke place, you could easily end up with over 15 dollars for a bowl, and that is crazy for poke.

LOVE THIS POKE SPOT!!! I come here atleast once a week; they are always fast, friendly, fresh, convenient & I love getting a full belly without feeling overly full, greasy or weighted down after a meal, which this place always accomplished. Perfect amount of protein, toppings, base & sauce every time. Another wonderful feature about this location, as compared to other poke establishments Ive been to, is the convenience of parking!!! Other poke places I go to, the parking can be such a pain; I love that there is underground parking beneath the complex so Im not driving around the block looking for off street parking. My only suggestion would be for the owner to offer a sauce bar, so I can try different sauces and mix and match without having to ask the employees for it.

Ive only ordered takeout from here, and never ordered in-house, but I can say that the service here is pretty fast and the staff is nice and pretty chill! Ive tried both the Seoul bowl (when I want something spicy) and the Tokyo bowl (when I want something more mild) and love, love, love both of them (cant wait to try more!) My mom ADORES their TJ bowl (which is medium spicy!) We eat here when we have doubts about what we want for dinner, so you can safely say itll never fail you! Get the 1/3 pound bowl of you want a good-sized meal, but of youre a voracious eater or are famished, get the 1/2 pound bowl. You wont be disappointed! I also appreciate that if you dont want to order a pre-formatted bowl, you can build your own. Ordering online is easy!Tip: when you do it through Clover, you get points; however the options to create your own bowl and ordering a pre-formatted bowl are kinda mashed together, so if you picked a pre-formatted bowl, dont add any toppings that werent included in it. One of the staff members kindly pointed this out to me when I made this mistake, and they did their best to make the modifications I wanted. If you order through Google (Postmates) and not Clover, this issue isnt present.Overall, A++, Pokedon! 💯

Unsanitary. Employees wont wear gloves to prepare the food. This is alarming - ready-to-eat foods are supposed to be prepared in a sanitary manner.I will never come to this place again.

The customer service is A+ very friendly and helpful for first timers. Its a mom and pop shop so I definitely prefer it over the chain poke one n half! I frequented this place when I lived in the area and now, even though I moved 30 minutes away, I still make the drive when I want to eat Poke. Their sauces are flavorful, their portions are perfect, you cant argue with the prices, and the quality is amazing.

The Maui bowl has the absolute perfect combination of fresh salmon, cucumber, and miso mayo sauce-- its perfection in a bowl! The portions are generous, the service is amazing, and theyve got a great selection of board games for people to enjoy while they eat. I wish I lived closer so I could go everyday! Good. All ingredients fresh and tasty like youd expect. But overpriced. A lot of add ons that are free elsewhere are extra. Seaweed salad, masago, $1 each?. Cmon now. And I ordered a large, 1/2 lb of protein, and it didnt seem near as much as places Ive been to where I can buy by the scoop. Wont return until standard add ons are no charge or until I hit the lottery
