Paid $17 for a bowl with spicy tuna and salmon. Wanted to love it but It was below average. Found out after I asked for it the seaweed salad is extra so is the edamame. Toppings are limited and so are the sauces. There are plenty of better options in the area for the price point.

Ive been to a lot of poke places. This is a familiar setup, think Chipotle. You go down the line choosing rice/salad, meat and toppings.Overall it was good, fresh fish. I rate it 4 stars because the amount of fish given was much less than any poke places Ive been, its a bit unfortunate for the $15 price of a regular bowl. The upside is they dont charge for avocado and in a strange twist they do change $1 extra for edamame.

This place would get 100 stars if I could give them that! Shout out to the staff members Ruth, Neve, and Zya. You got to read this review and visit this place. First of all, this place is brand new. Upon arrival, I walked in and noticed how spotless clean it was. I visited with my family and during times of Covid, it is hard to find restaurants that look trustworthy. The floors were shining, the bathroom was clean and sanitized, the kitchen line was clean with no cross contamination across the foods, and you could even see the back dishes stacked, and the dish machine and sink was stainless (which is rare if you have worked in kitchens).The staff automatically put gloves on which is awesome because a lot of times chain workers will pick up mixing utensils without gloves. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and even laughed out of joy when I commented on the cleanliness of the facility.The girls were super polite to my parents, which I appreciated because they can get picky and indecisive. They explained the options and the process of building our bowl. They even went over ingredients in the items and it was cool that they explained how they mix the sauces to get different spice levels (mild, medium and spicy) before they asked us which spice level we were interested in. They were very welcoming and inviting and I recommend this for a quick option for any family who enjoys sushi.I liked how the girls changed their gloves when mixing my bowl from my parents because they ordered differently from me. This is comforting since raw seafood can very easily make you sick. I liked how they had a tofu and lots of veggie options for those who aren’t quite keen to a sushi flavor.I even commented to their team that I was impressed with their attitude and workmanship together.They were happy to be at work, which is rare in 2022. They looked like young college students who genuinely were trying their hardest to shine their new company. They even spoke well of their employer, saying that the business is just starting out and how they enjoy their new job. This is great to here that it is a close team, most managers can sometimes not communicate or establish a strong rapport with their workers. They really gave a great up front impression for this business.The line started to get long because we were taking so long to order. They continued to stay polite as they picked up the pace.And lastly, the avocado was free! I don’t know one restaurant in the United States has free avocado. I’m not sure if this will change or not once the business starts to get established, but it was pretty cool.I think the only thing that I would suggest is for them to label the tops of the bowls. Although 2 of our orders were exactly the same and mine was different, when we got home with our to go bag it took us a half a second to figure out.GO HERE! The food is clean. It looks like people are complaining about the rice being fresh and plain. Idk if you have ever been to an Asian sushi or seafood restaurant, but that’s what it’s supposed to be like. The fish should be lightly flavored and that’s why they put a generous amount of sauce on top. Go here, if they are ever to get a bad review it’s probably because a Karen customer is trying to stay an elite influencer.Team, thank you so much for making our visit special. I haven’t been to California or visited my parents in over a year. I was extremely tired this evening from traveling through airports and I was not planning on going out. The to-go option was extremely helpful, your attitudes lifted my spirits and stress, and now I am sitting here with an awesome meal well worth it. The cost fits the value of food, any more expensive and I might be hesitant to purchase. The quality of food is great and it was made with love.

Been coming here since they opened. Consistent, good, and fast. Great range of spice levels and generous protein portions. Nice variety of juices and beers. Super friendly staff.Soda selection is a little limited. The restaurant in general is super clean - if a little sterile.If you like poke or had a bad experience once somewhere else and want to try again, give Poki Bowl a shot!

Amazing place to eat, the friendliest people you could meet, and very clean. Great portion sizes definitely not stingy with their portions. I would highly recommend eating here, my wife is picky but they helped her make a bowl she absolutely loved we will be returning as well as recommending to everyone I know. Loved this place from previous visits but showed up tonight (3/17 at 7:20 pm) and was highly disappointed. Staff were scattered, unprepared, and disorganized. They stated they ran out of all fish except shrimp because “they forgot to thaw it.” Multiple customers walked out without food, including us.Edited: Thank you, we appreciate and accept the offer for a complementary bowl. We love your food and have received great customer service in the past. We look forward to your continued success!

The owner was extremely nice and packed my bowl full of everything I asked for. There was an extra charge for edamame but for the place only being open for a short time it was extremely pleasant. Good staff and good food. I would recommend going here

So Flavorful! First time eating at this place and is now one of my family’s favorite places to eat. At first I thought it was Pricey but the quality & freshness of the food and the amount of food they can pack in these bowls can probably feed two people. I ordered the large with the spicy sauces and sushi rice with mixed greens and it was delicious but couldn’t finish it. Yum! 😋

This place is great. I’ve always loved sushi but never had poki before poki bowl opened up. I’ve eaten here at least 30 times now lol and have now tried several other poki places between here and San Diego and I have to attest these guys are the winners in my opinion. The rice is cooked perfect and sticky, veggies are crisp, the fish is cold and fresh and most important (to me) they aren’t stingy with the proteins. Or anything else for that matter. I get the large every time and I don’t think they have ever given me just four scoops of protein. I Absolutely have to eat here once every week. The employees often make the orders looking as if they were making their own bowl for lunch. One of the few places that I am willing to give a little and not be offended by this new entitlement tip we are seeing everywhere these days when we pay for pick up orders. Ate there today it was fantastic can’t wait till next week lol.

Quality, freshness and presentation are all big factors for my picking where to eat. Poki Bowl in Menifee checks all these boxes. The quality of the fish is spectacular, no doubt that its delivered daily and FRESH!! The quantity, serving size, of the 3 item bowl was more than enough, I had a bite of fish in every bit. It was more than enough, even had some left over.The bowl is created so beautifully, presentation is an appeal and can be a turn off. Not only was the bowl prepped well, the cleanliness of their work area is spectacular. No clutter, no excess food on the prep line.The store is clean as well, the floors shine, sparkle clean.The icing on the cake was the customer service! Greeted with a smile, answered my questions and even offered suggestions.I will definitely be returning!
