This is my new favorite poke place in the IE. I can’t believe it took me this long to try this place. I will def order again. The rice is cooked perfectly, the spicy Mayo is great, and everything tastes so fresh.

Poki and maki is amazing and always so delicious my favorite is the baked shrimp when I eat out this is definitely the place I run to always a pleasant experience the employees are always wonderful its always a chill and calm atmosphere I dont have that in my life alone so having the option to sit here is very nice I normally take out though but Ive never had a bad experience here

I liked this place and I would come back to try more of the menu items but I dont recommend the Baked Scallops bowl. I think the scallops had cream cheese baked on them and mixed with the Crab meat that had mayo, it was like too creamy with a sweet taste. maybe in a smaller portion it would have been ok.

First time Poke for me and I am amazed. The staff was very helpful in putting this delicious plate together and the price was more than reasonable for fresh fish. Salmon, scallops and tuna will be my favorite for return trips.... highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little treasure in Upland. To begin with the restaurant is clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining their ingredients. If you are unsure of any item they let you sample. The portion sizes are good considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend to any poke or sushi lovers.

Good new place. Been to many poke places. This is a clean, trendy, spacious place. Poke is good. They give you many choices of toppings, like spicy crab which most places dont offer. Portions could be a little bigger though. Friendly staff and owner.

First time and I am very satisfied. By far one of MY best poke experiences in the IE. The most important preparation for me is rice. Rice was cooked perfectly. I loved that they mixed my protein in the sauces but did not pour the excess liquids into my bowl. I hate saucy/soggy rice.Sauces are great, and fish and toppings were fresh. Clean station and good customer service as I always feel rushed at other places. Will return when Im in the area and hopefully stays consistent!Cant provide a 5th star because Im not sure if theyre open for dine in although even if they were, Im not sure why the other half side of the restaurant is a cluttered storage room.

Fresh salads. Their baked salmon rice bowl is excellent. They charge more now, so its as much as a restaurant style eaterie. Med vs large containers are $2 extra the only difference is some extra green salad same toppings.

Two stars for the excellent service. Poke was bland at best. Pricing was egregious for what you got and the portions were absolutely baffling. I didnt even get a half scoop of my first protein or base. I actually thought the guy was joking with me.. even with two sauces and ample toppings, my bowl was marginal at best. Whats not a joke is that I will absolutely not return here due to the price gouging and small portions. Ive literally had better poke in the middle of Oklahoma, which is telling in itself.

The best POKE on this side of town! We have tried 3 different Poke restaurants and this one is the best! Excellent selections, fresh and tastee. I ordered the regular w/ spicy tuna and all the toppings; the mango and pineapple is a must have! I will get a large next time. You can even get a delicious frozen Macaroon Ice cream for dessert! We will definitely be visiting again, and soon!service was great too!!

I have to admit I wasnt expecting much but ended up very surprised! This was delicious and for a great price. I liked their toppings and the fact that they also served sushi. I didnt try the sushi but the poke was fresh and yummy. I wish I lived closer to this place!Edit: Ive gone back several times. Their poke is always fresh and yummy and their sushi is great, too. I love ordering from this place.

Charged me extra AFTER I placed my order, for extra cucumber, then DIDNT even give extra cucumber. Lol what a joke your establishment is. For that poor service, I’m giving you a poor rating. Last time we ever order from here. Plenty of poke places around and your poke is not that good compared to places we had. Being cheap is gonna cost you more than the extra $0.54 you charged for NOT giving us extra cucumber.

Food was pretty good, but if you click menu on google, the menu pictures are of the old cheaper menu. Also I got the #1 signature expecting it to come with rice, I guess some of signatures don’t get a base? Prices are high in my opinion.

My husband and I come here after the gym and order the large salad and the ingredients are always fresh and amazing. Pair it with fast service and a clean atmosphere, you understand why this is a 5 star restaurant. I wish we lived closer! Thank you!!

What can I say. This is our favorite Poke location to go to. There is no other one like this so far. The customer service is always pleasant. The ingredients are always fresh and very tasteful. We moved from upland, and we like to go back to grab some Poke. You guys are doing a great job👌👍.

Ive tried poke bowls from many different restaurants but Poki & Maki has by far the BEST poke ever. Everything about it is delicious and the fish always taste fresh! Once you try their poke bowl, you cant go anywhere else. Its just that good!! We have been ordering here twice a week ever since the quarantine/lock down started. They are also on DoorDash & GrubHub, we get our food within 30 mins! Highly recommend this place!

The only thing that I don’t like about this place is how stingy they are with their toppings and proteins. Whenever I go in to purchase two BIG FISH plates I notice that the manager or owner or whoever is in charge at the moment, comes outside to check up on the staff to make sure that they are serving EXACT portions. Today I got a nice girl who was doing a great job and the lady from the back came to the front and shook her head when she looked at the bowls with the protein. STOP micromanaging your staff and stop harassing them when they’re doing a GREAT job.$12 something plus tax for a big bowl is only expensive because the owners always push for the bare minimum of portions to serve their customers. Not only that, but their toppings are also served to the bare minimum with two of their topping options being fruit. The pineapple and mango could easily be replaced with one of the items being Tobiko (red fish eggs). That’s a topping that I have seen served at other Poke places for the same price.I moved to Upland less than a month ago and I have gone to this place at least 4-5 times and have always bought two BIG fish plates. I will STOP coming here if I keep seeing the manager/owner step to the front just to CHECK that they are serving the bare minimum portions.Aside from that, the Poke is delicious I love it! I just hate to see managers focus on being STINGY and telling their staff of all the things they do wrong, instead of improving their customer service!

They typically have great plates. I feel like I got gypt. I always get the salad base and it is FULL of salad. This time there was a very thin layer of salad. Also, they are very stingy (always) on radish sprouts, ginger and wasabi. The fish is always great. Also, we tried to get a gift certificate and they do not give them unless the owner is on premises.

Second visit here, overall a better experience with back kitchen items so it may have just been a different chef. We got two bowls, a philly roll, and a hand eel. Everything looked and tasted fresh, philly roll was quite sizable, and bowl topping choices varied enough to provide a variety of flavors. Could use some more creamy sauces for mix in but overall satisfied enough to return.

I usually order avocado rolls and sometimes miso soup. I love the sushi rice they use, it is very yummy, almost sweet. I have had a lot of sushi in my life, and for a simple roll, the rice itself is what sold me onto this place.

Wow, first ever poke that’s not worth spending 15.99 for a regular bowl using grub hub, I can get a medium bowl anywhere else for 12.99 and they give you a large amount for what you pay for. This is some luxury poke, and they ain’t even Japanese. Not worth buying food here. It’s a total joke of a price. It’s the same friggin taste as other poke places. Never ever again. Hardly my vegs!

The food here is always so fresh and wonderful. My husband and I used to frequent a different poke place in the area but tried this out. They have FRESH mango! They give you spicy tuna as a free option! They are always so friendly too! Hooked!

I go there because of their buy 10 get 1 free promotion they have. For a couple of months the workers told me that they werent using it anymore. A month later I saw someone use it. I lost out on 4 points, so I should have 9 and they now put a sign that our points will not work after 09/30. There are closer poke places to go, so I dont think it is worth the drive without an incentive. just sayin

Delicious poké with fresh fish and toppings assembled to your specifications. They also have sushi offerings and house favorites. Ive only tried the poké, its always fresh and they use good size scoops for your bowls. Located in the shopping center on the northeast corner of mountain and eighth st in upland. Plenty of free parking and hardly ever a wait. Nice booths to sit in for dine in or on your lunch break.
