This place was so good I came back twice in same week. You can build your bowl custom to your liking. Menu Board walks you through it. They also have sushi rolls if you prefer. Bowl is what I recommend. Sauces to top it with and you end with payment. Seat yourself in the dining area or take it to go. Infused water is available for free or you can select a beverage from their kiosk. Found the protein choices to be fresh and place is clean. Price can be a little steep but definitely a healthier option in fast food.

Love this spot! One of my favorite quick lunch spots. The staff is friendly, its clean, affordable and the poke is fresh and great! They offer black rice which I love and a regular size bowl is more than enough.

My first impression was that this is not a good value at all. I got a regular sized bowl for just over $14. Then I saw they only put a tiny scoop of crab in it so I asked for more crab and that was extra. Most places give you the regular ice cream scoop full of crab and this was just a tiny mini scoop. Same with the masago and when I asked for extra it was $1.50 extra for more masago so instead I went with adding tobiko for the additional $2. But I was still excited and expected it to be good. Unfortunately it was not. Thankfully the fish was fresh but the avocado tasted old and passed its date. It still looked okay but the taste was bad. The onions also tasted bad. And you could see that some of the onions are transparent which is a bad sign so I picked them out. The cucumbers were a tad bit slimy but tasted okay so I ate them. And then I got to the rice and dang it I could not believe it because Ive never experienced this before... But the rice actually tasted moldy. I did not see any mold but I couldnt eat it. And on top of all this, the flavors just werent there. Even if all of the produce and ingredients had been on point, the sauce was almost flavorless. I had gone with the house sauce in case anyone is curious. This was literally the worst poke bowl I have ever had. Before I wrote this review I called the restaurant to tell them that someone should do a quality control check on the rice, white onions and avocado. The lady told me that the avocados have been having issues because of supply lately. If that is the case and they taste bad and just ever so slightly rotten, then why serve them at all? Anyway, Im pretty sure this is my first one star review, but this was the worst poke I have ever, ever had!

This place is literally a gem. Let me start off with the service. When I step into this restaurant, it feels as if everyone is a part of my family. Not once did I ever feel unwelcome. Don’t even get me started with the decorations and atmosphere. This place is so nice and clean. Now with the food. The food is amazing. I can never get tired of the fresh, melt in your mouth, buttery feeling that their fish gives.

This place appears clean and food seems fresh... however... their portions are ridiculous. They used to be very tight but now they’re beyond stingy. For nearly $20 for a large bowl (with tax) with all the toppings the bowl is only 2/3 full. This will be my last visit to this place.

It was actually great! It was my diestbtime there, so I had to be guided a little by the servers. They were polite.... even in a lunch rush and helped me make a selection and build my bowl. Im not a fan of sushi so to my surprise it was amazing. Didnt venture too far from what I already know. I had spicy tuna topped with the mango sauce. Wish I had taken a picture!

Absolutely terrible and disappointed in Poki Run. Workers here are super stingy with the portions. I asked for a little extra corn and the worker refused to give it to me unless I paid an extra dollar! Plus the topping and protein options are super limited. Usually my poke is filled to the brim but this place filled my bowl not even half way. Do yourself a favor and make a drive to Sunfish Poke in Fremont or Hawaiian Poke in Pleasanton/Dublin instead. So many more options there, super fresh all the time, and super kind and generous staff that give you unlimited toppings unlike this place. Plus those places have loyalty points where you get a free bowl for every 5 bowls you purchase or so. This place is a huge scam compared to Sunfish and Hawaiian. Super upset.

Its close to my home so its convenient, but theyre tight on the portions. The staff is carefully watched by the owners to make sure the scoops are level and not heaping spoonfuls, even with the side ingredients. For almost $20 for a large bowl, if theyre going to be super stingy about the scoops, Id rather go to a sushi restaurant. The tiny scoops arent worth it for that price point. Plus they dont have fried onions, which is one of my favorite toppings 🤤

Awesome. Flavorful and looking great bowl and reasonable price. But the spicy level was a bit greater than I expected.(I chose to even though it was my first visit.) But definitely will go back. I found the rice was a bit too small to have perfect spiciness and ideal ratio of rice/protein/vegi. So I will ask maybe half scoop of more rice at next time.

My favorite local poki bowl spot. I come here pretty regularly and love getting 1/2 black rice and 1/2 lettuce regular with salmon, Tuna, and spicy crab. Their fish is always fresh, never smelly, and the mango mayo sauce tastes amazing in combo with regular and spicy. A little pricey but well worth it.

When I worked in Milpitas I used to visit this place about once a week. The fish quality has always been hit or miss, which is probably the most important quality in a poke place. Recently, as with most things, the prices have increased a fair bit. I dont mind paying, but I am value-oriented in my decision making, and with the price increase and the average quality this will no longer be a visited site for me. The fish today was mealy instead of firm and I left with a fishy taste in my mouth for the next few hours.I recommend Bowl K Poke & Bowl in East SJ if you have the capacity to travel, you can read my review there.Pros:Toppings such as avocado, seaweed salad, and crab salad are included in the price.They offer black rice as an option. I havent seen anywhere else that does it, and I actually prefer it flavor wise (but benefit wise it is superior to white or brown since it is the whole rice grains unsttripped).They offer Tobiko as an option for an extra charge.Their miso soup is affordable.Cons:Not as affordable, comparatively, as they used to be.Fish quality has been fairly bad at times.

Honestly, Im not really one for poke. I enjoy a good poke bowl, but I dont regularly eat poke. That being said I really enjoyed my experience here. The sushi rice was really good and all the fish was fresh and delicious. I paid a little more than I wanted (~$13 for a regular sized bowl), but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Might come back if Im in the area.

Great great great!I love Poke and Ive tried several places but I always end up back here.The only two dislikes I have is that I prefer the spicy tuna to be in chunks like the ahi instead of ground tuna.Also their ahi tuna seems to have a sweeter taste to it then I like.But like I said I think thats more of a preference thingThe service is great as well as the options they have available. You can get fresh salad as a base, sushi rice or black rice which you dont see everywhere.They also have spicy shrimp which I havent seen anywhere else.Overall Its a little pricier than most but definitely worth every penny and my go to Poke restaurant.

Probably the best poki place around the area. It might be the only place that offers black rice, and also sushi rolls on the side. I typically get a combo so I get both a roll and the poke bowl.As for the details, they dont charge extra for avocado, masago and seaweed salad which is a big plus since some other places do.Also a personal opinion but I find poke places with excessive fruit options typically dont taste as good. Luckily the only fruit option here is apple.

Fish had been consistently high quality and the apples are a cool topping option. My favorite poke place has been closed down due to COVID-19 and I remembered this place as one I tried once and liked but that was a bit of a drive for me. So, needing poke, I revisited and was very pleased with the quality and taste of the bowls--and also that they have roll options! Also, the first scoop of avocado is free. Ill probably remain a customer even after everything opens! One request: expanded toppings, please. My old place had macadamia nuts and mandarins and thats the main thing Im missing... Everything else is fantastic and thank you, Poki Run, for staying open during shelter in place.

Poki run overall is one of the best quality sushi in the area. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because you don’t get the a good amount for a regular bowl, there are other locations that will give you bigger scoops of the ingredients. The ambience is open and roomy so you don’t feel to constricted. The decor is cool with old small coke machines models.the staff is friendly and courteous, this is a place I would mind coming back too especially if they give you more for your regular size bowls.

The place has decent amount of seating and is clean.The Poke taste great! Their house sauce is delicious and has a little kick to it so if you cant handle spice dont go for spicy. The quality of fish is pretty good too!The reason why Im not giving this the full 5 stars is because compared to other Poke places mainly Poke house which isnt too far away... It doesnt compare. The portion here was small and the topping selection was also much smaller. The prices here is are also tad bit more expensive so I just didnt think it was as worth it.

The bowl was delicious. I came for lunch. There were no more tables, so I ate in my car. One of the workers noticed, and he came out with cold drinks for me.I ordered a large bowl. I asked for half black rice and half greens for my base. They accommodated. I hope the black rice has all the health benefits it is supposed to. I ordered salmon and tuna mixed with the spicy sauce. This is definitely my favorite poki place. I come here once a week and would come here more if I didnt have free lunch and dinner at work. The only bad part is the hours, not open that late and closed on Sundays but they recently improved the hours. The fish is great, the portions are generous, staff are friendly, and it comes with avacado and imitation crab included! They dont really have crunchy toppings but the taste more than makes up for it.

New poke location thats relatively close to work. I can see myself coming here every now and then for lunch if Im in the mood for some poke.I really like their simple menu. I do like their ability to give us plenty of choices to customize our bowls.I got the large bowl with brown rice and greens, which gave me 5 fish choices (they have tai, salmon, ahi tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp, and yellowtail), but I just chose everything but shrimp. The sides such as seaweed salad, crab meat, onions, cucumbers can be included as well (but why would you not include them?!). Overall it was delicious and I loved my choices.Price wise, it seems to be on par with most poke places from what Ive seen on the menu. I think if you go here you might as well get the large as its just a few bucks more. Portion-wise, I think its adequate and while some people might complain that its too little and they wished they had more, well, this is just how the portions usually are for poke. I compare getting a poke bowl to getting a special sushi roll. No one gets full off of one roll, you know? Most people usually order two just to be satisfied. Anyway, not gonna go into too deep about what are the best portion sizes, as its different for everyone, but I guess that was just some perspective on it.All right, check this place out if youre craving for some poke and you want it quick with some great customer service!
